[0003] [Patent Document 1] JP 2023-30519 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] The temperature sensor can be embedded at a desired position. For example, when measuring the temperature of the rear end of the injection nozzle, that is, the part close to the heating cylinder, it is necessary to do as described in Patent Document 1. The injection nozzle is attached to the heating cylinder by a mounting and fixing member such as a cylinder head. When attached by the cylinder head, the rear end of the injection nozzle is stored in the cylinder head. Therefore, when providing a temperature sensor near the rear end of the injection nozzle, a hole is drilled from the outer circumferential surface of the cylinder head so that it reaches the rear end of the injection nozzle, and a hole is also drilled in the rear end of the injection nozzle. The temperature sensor is inserted by aligning these holes. Then, the temperature near the rear end of the injection nozzle can be measured. However, if it is not desired to drill a hole in the mounting and fixing member such as the cylinder head, there is a problem that the temperature sensor cannot be attached.
[0005] The present disclosure provides an injection nozzle that can measure the temperature of the rear end of the injection nozzle without drilling a hole in the mounting member that mounts the injection nozzle to a heating cylinder.
[0006] Other objects and novel features will become apparent from the description of this specification and the accompanying drawings. [Means for solving the problem]
[0007] The injection nozzle is attached to the tip of the heating cylinder of the injection device by a predetermined attachment and fixing member. In the present disclosure, a groove of a predetermined length is formed on the outer peripheral surface from the vicinity of the rear end of the injection nozzle toward the longitudinal tip of the injection nozzle. A sensor hole of a predetermined depth is then drilled adjacent to the rear end, continuing from the groove. The injection nozzle is provided with a rear end temperature sensor that measures the temperature at the rear end. The sensor part at the tip of the rear end temperature sensor is inserted into the sensor hole, and the conductor part is stored along the groove and is drawn out to the outside near the center of the injection nozzle. Effect of the Invention
[0008] The present disclosure makes it possible to measure the temperature of the rear end of the injection nozzle without drilling a hole in the mounting fixture to which the injection nozzle is attached. [Brief description of the drawings]

[0010] Specific embodiments will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings. However, the present invention is not limited to the following embodiments. In order to clarify the description, the following description and drawings are appropriately simplified. In each drawing, the same elements are given the same reference numerals, and duplicated descriptions are omitted as necessary. In addition, hatching is omitted in some parts to avoid cluttering the drawings.
[0011] [First embodiment] <Injection molding machine> As shown in Fig. 1, the injection molding machine 1 according to the first embodiment is a so-called vertical injection molding machine. An injection nozzle 5 according to the first embodiment, which will be described in detail later with reference to Figs. 2 and 3, is provided in this vertical injection molding machine, but it can also be provided in a horizontal injection molding machine, and the type of injection molding machine does not matter. The injection molding machine 1 according to the first embodiment includes a toggle-type mold clamping device 2, an injection device 3, and a control device 4. The control device 4 is configured to control the mold clamping device 2, the injection device 3, etc.
[0012] <Mold clamping device> The mold clamping device 2 is a so-called vertical mold clamping device, and includes a fixed platen 9 fixed to a bed 7, an upper movable platen 10 provided above the fixed platen 9, and a lower movable platen 11 provided within the bed 7. The upper movable platen 10 and the lower movable platen 11 are connected by three tie bars 12, 12, .... A toggle mechanism 14 is provided between the lower movable platen 11 and the fixed platen 9, and a turntable 15 is provided above the fixed platen 9. An upper mold 17 is provided on the upper movable platen 10, and a lower mold 18 is provided on the turntable 15. When the toggle mechanism 14 is driven, the upper mold 17 and the lower mold 18 are opened and closed.
[0013] <Injection device> The injection unit 3 is provided on the upper movable platen 10 of the mold clamping unit 2. The injection unit 3 includes a heating cylinder 19, a screw 20 provided in the heating cylinder 19, a screw driving unit 22, and a lifting unit 23 that lifts and lowers the entire injection unit 3. The heating cylinder 19 is provided with an injection nozzle 5 according to the first embodiment as shown in Fig. 2, which will be described in detail next. The heating cylinder 19 is provided with heaters 25, 25, ..., and the injection nozzle 5 is provided with nozzle heaters 26, 26, ....
[0014] <Injection nozzle> 2 and 3, the injection nozzle 5 according to the first embodiment is composed of a relatively long cylindrical body portion 27 and an expanded flange portion 28, with a resin flow path 29 formed at the axial center. The flange portion 28 is formed on the rear end side of the injection nozzle 5, that is, on the side that is attached to the heating cylinder 19. As shown in FIG. 2, the injection nozzle 5 is attached to the heating cylinder 19 with the flange portion 28 pressed by a cylinder head 30. The cylinder head 30 is an attachment member for attaching the injection nozzle 5 to the heating cylinder 19.
[0015] 2, the injection nozzle 5 is provided with a rear end temperature sensor 32 that measures the temperature near the flange portion 28, i.e., near the rear end, a center temperature sensor 33 that measures the temperature near the center, and a tip temperature sensor 34 that measures the temperature near the tip. Of these temperature sensors 32, 33, and 34, the center temperature sensor 33 and tip temperature sensor 34 are provided in exposed portions of the injection nozzle 5, i.e., portions not covered by the cylinder head 30. Therefore, they are attached in the same manner as conventional injection nozzles.
[0016] That is, grooves 36, 36 are formed at a predetermined length on the outer circumferential surface of the body 27 of the injection nozzle 5, and sensor holes 37, 37 of a predetermined depth are formed continuous with these grooves 36, 36. These grooves 36, 36 are disposed rearward of the sensor holes 37, 37. The central temperature sensor 33 and tip temperature sensor 34 have their conductor portions 42 inserted into these grooves 36, 36 and extended forward of the injection nozzle 5, and then their tip sensor portions 41 are inserted into the sensor holes 37, 37.
[0017] On the other hand, the rear end temperature sensor 32 is adapted to measure the temperature of the portion of the injection nozzle 5 covered by the cylinder head 30, i.e., the vicinity of the rear end. In other words, the cylinder head 30 is an obstacle to the installation of the rear end temperature sensor 32. In the injection nozzle 5 according to the first embodiment, therefore, a method of installing the rear end temperature sensor 32 is devised. Specifically, it is as follows. First, on the outer peripheral surface of the body 27 of the injection nozzle 5, as shown in FIG. 3, a groove 38 of a predetermined depth is formed from the vicinity of the flange portion 28, i.e., the vicinity of the rear end, toward the tip in the longitudinal direction. Then, a sensor hole 39 of a predetermined depth is opened in the vicinity of the flange portion 28, continuing from the groove 38. In other words, the groove 38 is disposed on the tip side, i.e., forward side, of the sensor hole 39. Note that, although the groove 38 has a length up to the vicinity of the center of the body 27 in this embodiment, it may be formed up to the tip of the injection nozzle 5.
[0018] 2, the rear end temperature sensor 32 has a sensor portion 41 at its tip inserted into the sensor hole 39. The tip portion of the conductor portion 42 of the rear end temperature sensor 32 is housed in the groove 38 and is pulled out near the center of the injection nozzle 5. Alternatively, the rear end temperature sensor 32 can be inserted into the groove 38 so that the conductor portion 42 runs from near the center of the injection nozzle 5 toward the rear end, and the sensor portion 41 at its tip inserted into the sensor hole 39. Since the rear end temperature sensor 32 is provided in the injection nozzle 5 in this manner, there is no need to drill a hole in the mounting and fixing member covering the flange portion 28, i.e., the cylinder head 30, to insert the rear end temperature sensor 32, as in the comparative example described next.
[0019] [Comparative Example] In order to understand the superiority of the mounting method of the rear end temperature sensor 32 in the injection nozzle 5 according to the first embodiment, an injection device 3X to which an injection nozzle 5X according to a comparative example is mounted will be described with reference to FIG. 4. Although some of the members constituting the injection device 3X according to the comparative example are different from those of the first embodiment, most of the members are configured similarly to the injection device 3 according to the first embodiment. The same reference numbers are used for similar members and descriptions are omitted. Similarly, the same reference numbers are used for members and configurations of the injection nozzle 5X according to the comparative example that are similar to those of the injection nozzle 5 according to the first embodiment, and descriptions are omitted.
[0020] The injection nozzle 5 according to the comparative example is also attached to the heating cylinder 19 by a cylinder head 30X, but the cylinder head 30X has a sensor insertion hole 45 for inserting the rear end temperature sensor 32X. The injection nozzle 5X has a sensor hole 46 formed to match the sensor insertion hole 45. The rear end temperature sensor 32X is inserted through the sensor insertion hole 45, and the sensor portion 41 is inserted into the sensor hole 46.
[0021] In the injection device 3X according to the comparative example, the temperature near the rear end of the injection nozzle 5X can also be measured by the rear end temperature sensor 32X. However, it is necessary to open a sensor insertion hole 45 in the cylinder head 30X. When changing the position of the rear end temperature sensor 32X, there is a problem that a new sensor insertion hole 45 must be opened in order to change the position of the sensor insertion hole 45. Furthermore, there is another problem. To insert the rear end temperature sensor 32X, it is necessary to align the sensor insertion hole 45 with the sensor hole 46. To align them, the rotational position of the injection nozzle 5X with respect to the cylinder head 30X must be adjusted. In other words, the attachment of the injection nozzle 5X to the heating cylinder 19 is complicated.
[0022] [Second embodiment] <Injection molding machine> The second embodiment will be described with reference to Figs. 5, 6, etc. The mold clamping device 2 and the control device 4 of the injection molding machine 1 according to the second embodiment are also configured in the same manner as the injection molding machine 1, the mold clamping device 2, and the control device 4 according to the first embodiment shown in Fig. 1. Therefore, the description of these will be omitted. The injection device 3A differs in the mounting and fixing member for mounting the injection nozzle 5 to the heating cylinder 19A. However, the other components of the injection device 3A are configured in the same manner as in the first embodiment, so the same reference numbers are used and the description will be omitted. The injection nozzle 5 is also configured in the same manner as in the first embodiment, so the description will be omitted.
[0023] <Injection nozzle mounting adapter> In the injection device 3A according to the second embodiment, as shown in Fig. 5, the mounting and fixing member for mounting the injection nozzle 5 to the heating cylinder 19A is composed of an injection nozzle mounting adaptor 50. As shown in Fig. 6, the injection nozzle mounting adaptor 50 is provided with a cylindrical portion 51 and a hexagonal nut-shaped fastening portion 52, and has a through hole 54 formed in the axial direction. A male thread 55 is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical portion 51, and is adapted to be screwed into a female thread 57 formed at the tip of the heating cylinder 19A. The fastening portion 52 is provided for rotating and fastening the injection nozzle mounting adaptor with a wrench or the like.
[0024] In the second embodiment, a method of attaching the injection nozzle 5 to the heating cylinder 19A will be described. First, as shown in FIG. 7A, the rear end temperature sensor 32 is attached to the injection nozzle 5. That is, the sensor portion 41 of the rear end temperature sensor 32 is housed in the sensor hole 39, and the vicinity of the tip of the conductor portion 42 is housed in the groove 38. Next, as shown in FIG. 7B, the injection nozzle mounting adaptor 50 is attached to the injection nozzle 5. At this time, the conductor portion 42 of the rear end temperature sensor 32 is inserted into the through hole 54 of the injection nozzle mounting adaptor 50. Alternatively, the rear end temperature sensor 32 may be provided on the injection nozzle 5 with the conductor portion 42 already inserted into the through hole 54 of the injection nozzle mounting adaptor 50, as shown in FIG. 7A.
[0025] When the injection nozzle mounting adaptor 50 is attached to the injection nozzle 5, the portion of the conductor portion 42 that is further forward than the portion housed in the groove 38 is stretched along the outer circumferential surface of the body portion 27 toward the axial tip. This makes it easier to attach the injection nozzle mounting adaptor 50 to the injection nozzle 5. Although it has been described that the groove 38 may be formed up to the tip of the injection nozzle 5, attachment is made even easier when the groove 38 is formed up to the tip. Figure 7C shows the state in which the injection nozzle mounting adaptor 50 is attached to the injection nozzle 5. In the state shown in Figure 7C, the portion of the conductor portion 42 that is further forward than the portion housed in the groove 38 is appropriately bent.
[0026] As shown in FIG. 7D, the male screw 55 of the injection nozzle mounting adapter 50 is screwed into the female screw 57 formed on the heating cylinder 19A. When the fastening portion 52 is rotated and fastened with a tool such as a wrench, the injection nozzle 5 is attached to the heating cylinder 19A. Finally, as shown in FIG. 7E, the center temperature sensor 33 and the tip temperature sensor 34 are attached to the injection nozzle 5, and the nozzle heaters 26, 26, ... are attached to the injection nozzle 5. If necessary, an adapter heater 59 may be provided on the fastening portion 52 of the injection nozzle mounting adapter 50. In the second embodiment, the rear end temperature sensor 32 is provided without drilling a hole in the mounting and fixing member for mounting the injection nozzle 5, i.e., the injection nozzle mounting adapter 50.
[0027] [Third embodiment] <Injection molding machine> The third embodiment will be described with reference to Fig. 8. The mold clamping device 2 and the control device 4 of the injection molding machine 1 according to the third embodiment are also configured in the same manner as the injection molding machine 1, the mold clamping device 2, and the control device 4 according to the first embodiment shown in Fig. 1. Therefore, the description of these will be omitted. The injection device 3B and the injection nozzle 5B differ in several points from the injection device 3 according to the first embodiment. The differences will be described, and the same reference numbers will be used for the members configured in the same manner as in the first embodiment, and the description will be omitted.
[0028] The injection device 3B according to the third embodiment differs from the first embodiment in that it includes a shut-off nozzle 65. The shut-off nozzle 65 includes an injection nozzle 5B, a needle valve 66, a cylinder unit 67 for driving the needle valve 66, and a support member 69 for supporting the cylinder unit 67. The injection nozzle 5B has a structure similar to that of the injection nozzle 5 according to the first embodiment (see Figs. 2 and 3), but differs in two respects. The first difference is that the injection nozzle 5B has an oblique needle hole 71 that extends from the outer circumferential surface of the body 27 to the resin flow path 29. The needle valve 66 is inserted in the needle hole 71 so as to be freely movable forward and backward, so that the resin flow path 29 is opened and closed. The second difference is that the injection device 3B includes only two temperature sensors 32, 33, a rear end temperature sensor 32 and a center temperature sensor 33. In other words, the tip temperature sensor 34 (see Fig. 2) is not provided.
[0029] In the third embodiment, the method of attaching the injection nozzle 5B to the heating cylinder 19B is also different from that of the first embodiment. In the third embodiment, an injection nozzle attachment block 73 is provided at the tip of the heating cylinder 19B. The injection nozzle 5B is in contact with this injection nozzle attachment block 73 and is indirectly provided on the heating cylinder 19B. As in the first embodiment (see FIG. 2), the flange portion 28 of the injection nozzle 5B is pressed by the cylinder head 30 and the injection nozzle 5B is attached to the heating cylinder 19B. In the third embodiment, the rear end temperature sensor 32 is also provided without drilling a hole in the attachment member for attaching the injection nozzle 5B, i.e., the cylinder head 30.
[0030] Although the invention made by the present inventor has been specifically described above based on the embodiment, it goes without saying that the present invention is not limited to the embodiment already described, and various modifications are possible without departing from the gist of the invention. The above-described examples may be implemented in appropriate combination. [Explanation of symbols]
