Abstract

To provide a battery cell with an enhanced volume efficiency.SOLUTION: The battery cell includes: an electrode body formed by laminating plural laminate structures each including a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; and a tape wound around the outer periphery of the electrode body. The tape has an overlapping part in which one side and another side of the direction of the outer periphery are overlapped with each other. When the direction in which the laminate structures are laminated in the electrode body is a lamination direction and the edge surface of the electrode body in the lamination direction is a lamination surface, the overlapping part is arranged on a surface which is not the laminate surface of the electrode body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
