Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a water faucet device. [Background technology]
[0002] Conventionally, household water purification devices that aim to remove impurities such as chlorine contained in tap water have been widely used. Known installation forms for household water purification devices include a direct-connection type that is attached to a water faucet, a free-standing type that is installed on top of a sink, and a built-in type (under-sink type) that is installed in a storage cabinet under a sink. In order to avoid spoiling the aesthetic appearance of the area around the sink, a faucet device has been proposed that is equipped with a combination faucet that can switch between hot water, cold water, hot and cold water mixture, and purified water with a single faucet, as well as an under-sink water purifier (Patent Document 1). [0008] <First embodiment> A first embodiment of a water faucet device according to the present invention will be described. FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing the pathway for switching between purified water and temperature-adjusted purified water and discharging the same, which is a main part of this embodiment. Figures 2 to 8 show an example of a faucet device having the pathways shown in Figure 1, and Figure 2 is an overall flow diagram. Figure 3 is an external perspective view of the hot and cold water mixing faucet (faucet) 1 as seen diagonally from the upper right corner of the front, Figure 4 is a front view of the core part 10 of the faucet body 2, Figure 5 is an external perspective view of the core part 10 as seen diagonally from the lower right corner, Figure 6 is a bottom view of the core part 10, Figure 7 is a right side view of the core part 10, and Figure 8 is a left side view of the core part 10. In FIG. 3, arrows X1-X2 indicate the left-right direction, arrows Y1-Y2 indicate the front-back direction, and arrows Z1-Z2 indicate the up-down direction, and in the following description, descriptions of directions will follow these directions. Note that the following diagrams are schematic diagrams for easily explaining the configuration, and the dimensional ratios of each component may differ from the actual ones.
[0009] 2 and 3, the faucet device of this embodiment includes a hot and cold water mixing faucet (faucet) 1 installed above the sink, and a first water purifier 71 and a hot and cold water dispenser 81 installed below the sink. The hot and cold water mixing faucet (faucet) 1 has a nozzle 6 connected to the tip of a shower hose 16 as a discharge port. The faucet device of this embodiment is equipped with flow paths that do not pass through a water purifier, including a water flow path A that sends raw water from a water supply source to the outlet 6, a hot water flow path B that sends hot water from a hot water source to the outlet 6, and a mixed water flow path C that merges the raw water from the water flow path A and the hot water from the hot water flow path B to send the mixed water to the outlet 6. The device also includes a hot and cold water valve (switching unit, hereafter referred to as the "first switching unit") 4 that switches between a state in which only one of the water flow path A and the hot water flow path B is open, a state in which the mixed water flow path C is open, and a state in which both the water flow path A and the hot water flow path B are closed. The hot and cold water valve 4 is operated by a right lever (operation unit, hereafter also referred to as the "first operation unit") 4a.
[0010] As shown in Figures 1 to 3, the flow paths through the water purifier include a raw water supply flow path D that supplies raw water from the water source to the first water purifier 71, a purified water flow path E that sends the purified water that has passed through the first water purifier 71 to the outlet 6, and a first temperature control flow path F that branches the raw water from the raw water supply flow path D, adjusts the temperature, and then sends it to the first water purifier 71. It is further equipped with a second switching unit (switching unit) 5 that switches between a state in which only one of the two branched flow paths, i.e., the raw water supply flow path D and the first temperature control flow path F, is open and a state in which both are closed, and a left lever (operating unit, hereinafter also referred to as the "second operating unit") 5a that operates the second switching unit 5.
[0011] In this embodiment, the water temperature adjustment means is a water chiller / heater 81 capable of cooling and heating water, and the first temperature adjustment flow path F is a cold / hot flow path F1 that branches off raw water from the raw water supply flow path D, adjusts the temperature of the water chiller / heater 81, and then sends it to the first water purifier 71. The second switching unit 5 in this embodiment is a water purification valve that can switch between an open state of either the raw water supply passage D or the hot and cold passage F1 and a closed state of the other, or a closed state of both.
[0012] Specifically, the hot and cold water mixing faucet 1 has a tap body 2, a holder 3 attached to the upper part of the tap body 2, a hot and cold water valve (first switching unit) 4 provided at the right end of the tap body 2, a purified water valve (second switching unit) 5 provided at the left end of the tap body 2, and a nozzle (outlet) 6 positioned at the tip of the holder 3. The plug body 2 is composed of a cylindrical metal core 10 that extends left and right with its axial direction horizontal, and a hollow cylindrical metal leg 11 that is connected and fixed to the lower part of the core 10 at approximately the center in the left and right direction, and the leg 11 is placed on the sink. The holder 3 mentioned above is attached to the upper part of the core 10, the hot and cold water valve 4 is provided at the right end of the core 10, and the clean water valve 5 is provided at the left end of the core 10.
[0013] 4, a bottomed leg attachment hole 12 into which the leg 11 is screwed is formed in the center in the left-right direction and the center in the front-rear direction on the bottom surface of the core portion 10. A bottomed holder attachment hole 13 into which the holder 3 is inserted is formed in the top surface of the core portion 10. The holder attachment hole 13 is formed slightly to the left of the leg attachment hole 12 in the center in the front-rear direction.
[0014] As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, core portion 10 is provided with a shower hose insertion hole 14 that passes through from holder mounting hole 13 to leg mounting hole 12 in the vertical direction. Five passages are opened on the bottom surface of the leg mounting hole 12 of the core portion 10 at positions that do not interfere with the shower hose insertion hole 14. In this embodiment, the five passages are a water flow path A upstream of the hot and cold water valve 4 (which branches off upstream of the hot and cold water valve 4 to become raw water supply flow path D), a hot water flow path B upstream of the hot and cold water valve 4, a mixed water flow path C (which is also water flow path A or hot water flow path B downstream of the hot and cold water valve 4), a raw water supply flow path D downstream of the purified water valve 5, and a cold / warm flow path F1 downstream of the purified water valve 5.
[0015] 7, a bottomed valve mounting hole 20 into which the hot and cold water valve 4 is screwed is formed at the right end of the core portion 10. At the bottom of the valve mounting hole 20, there are provided a hot water inlet port 21 through which hot water from the hot water flow path B flows into the hot and cold water valve 4, a water inlet port 22 through which raw water from the water flow path A flows into the hot and cold water valve 4, and an outlet port 23 through which hot water, cold water, or mixed hot and cold water flows out from the hot and cold water valve 4.
[0016] A hot and cold water valve 4 is screwed into the valve mounting hole 20 , and the hot and cold water valve 4 enables communication and blocking between the hot water inlet port 21 and / or the cold water inlet port 22 and the outlet port 23 . A known structure can be appropriately adopted as the structure of the hot and cold water valve 4. For example, the hot and cold water valve structure described in JP 2012-36611 A may be used.
[0017] In this embodiment, the right lever 4a that operates the hot and cold water valve 4 can be tilted left and right and rotated back and forth, and the opening and closing of the hot and cold water valve 4 and the flow rate can be adjusted by tilting the right lever 4a left and right, and the mixing ratio of cold and hot water (including 0:100 and 100:0) can be adjusted by rotating the right lever 4a back and forth. When the right lever 4a is tilted to the left limit, the hot and cold water valve 4 is closed regardless of the forward and backward rotation position of the right lever 4a. When the right lever 4a is tilted to the right from this closed state, the hot and cold water valve 4 is opened, and the larger the tilt angle, the larger the valve opening becomes, allowing the flow rate to be increased. By keeping the right lever 4a tilted to the right so as to open the hot and cold water valve 4, and rotating the right lever 4a backward, the water inlet port 22 can be closed and the hot water inlet port 21 can be connected to the outlet port 23. By rotating it forward, the hot water inlet port 21 can be closed and the water inlet port 22 can be connected to the outlet port 23. By positioning the right lever 4a halfway between these, both the hot water inlet port 21 and the water inlet port 22 can be connected to the outlet port 23, and the mixture ratio of hot water and cold water can be adjusted depending on the stopping position of the right lever 4a.
[0018] On the other hand, at the left end of the core portion 10, as shown in Figure 8, a bottomed valve mounting hole 30 is formed into which the water purification valve 5 is screwed, and at the bottom of the valve mounting hole 30, a raw water inlet port 31, a raw water outlet port 34, and a branch outlet port 35 are provided. The raw water inlet port 31 communicates with a raw water supply flow path D branching off from the water flow path A upstream of the purified water valve 5, and the raw water outlet port 34 communicates with the raw water supply flow path D downstream of the purified water valve 5. The branch outlet port 35 communicates with the hot and cold flow path F1. A water purification valve 5 is screwed into the valve mounting hole 30, and the water purification valve 5 can be switched between a state in which the raw water inlet port 31 is connected to either the raw water outlet port 34 or the branch outlet port 35 (either the raw water supply flow path D or the cold / hot flow path F1 is open and the other is closed), or a state in which the raw water inlet port 31 is not connected to any port (both the raw water supply flow path D and the cold / hot flow path F1 are closed).
[0019] In this embodiment, the left lever 5a for operating the purified water valve 5 can be rotated forward and backward. When the protrusion 5b of the left lever 5a is facing upward, the raw water inlet port 31 and the raw water outlet port 34 communicate with each other, and the raw water supply flow path D is opened. When the lever is rotated 45 degrees forward from this state, the raw water outlet port 34 is closed, the raw water inlet port 31 communicates with the branch outlet port 35, and the hot and cold flow path F1 is opened. If the lever is rotated further forward by 45 degrees from this position so that the protrusion 5b of the left lever 5a is facing forward, the raw water outlet port 34 and the branch outlet port 35 are blocked, the water supply from the raw water inlet port 31 is cut off, and both the raw water supply flow path D and the cold / hot flow path F1 are closed.
[0020] FIG. 9 is a schematic diagram showing an example of a hot and cold water dispenser 81. As shown in FIG. The hot and cold water dispenser 81 of this embodiment accommodates, in a box-shaped outer container 91, an aluminum treatment container 92, a Peltier unit 93 equipped with a Peltier element for cooling or heating the water in the treatment container 92, a power supply unit 94, and an operation unit 97. The operation unit 97 can be operated from outside the outer container 91. The capacity of the treatment container 92 is, for example, about 2 liters. The outer surface of the treatment container 92 is covered with a heat insulating material 98. A supply pipe 95 for supplying water into processing vessel 92 and a discharge pipe 96 for discharging water from processing vessel 92 are each liquid-tightly connected to processing vessel 92 . The treatment container 92 and the outer container 91 are each liquid-tightly sealed, so that water leakage can be prevented whether the hot and cold water purifier 81 is placed vertically or horizontally. The hot and cold water heater 81 can continuously supply water to the treatment vessel 92 and continuously discharge water cooled or heated to a desired temperature within the treatment vessel 92. Furthermore, the hot and cold water dispenser 81 is preferable in that it has a high degree of freedom in terms of the installation location and installation direction, and can be easily installed in a space such as under a sink.
[0021] The hot and cold water mixing faucet 1 configured in this manner is used by connecting the water flow path A to the water supply source, the hot water flow path B to the hot water supply source, the raw water supply flow path D to the raw water inlet of the first water purifier 71 installed under the sink, the cold and hot flow path F1 to the supply pipe 95 of the cold and hot water device 81 installed under the sink, the discharge pipe 96 of the cold and hot water device 81 to the raw water supply flow path D via a joint or the like, the mixed water flow path C (A, B) to the shower hose 16 via a connecting pipe 18 or the like, and the purified water flow path E to the connecting pipe 18 via a joint or the like.
[0022] When using the faucet device of this embodiment, if cold water, hot water, or mixed hot and cold water is to be discharged without passing through a water purifier, the water purification valve 5 is closed and only the hot and cold water valve 4 is opened, and both the raw water supply flow path D and the cold and hot flow path F1 are closed by the water purification valve 5, and the raw water supplied from the water supply source is no longer supplied to the first water purifier 71.
[0023] Then, when the hot and cold water valve 4 is operated with the right lever 4a to close the hot water inlet port 21 and connect the cold water inlet port 22 and outlet port 23, the water flow path A opens and the raw water supplied from the water source flows from the water inlet port 22 to the outlet port 23, passes through the connecting pipe 18 and the shower hose 16 and is sprayed from the nozzle 6. In addition, when the hot and cold water valve 4 is operated with the right lever 4a to close the water inlet port 22 and connect the hot water inlet port 21 and the outlet port 23, the hot water flow path B opens and the hot water supplied from the hot water source flows from the hot water inlet port 21 to the outlet port 23, passes through the connecting pipe 18 and the shower hose 16, and is sprayed from the nozzle 6. In addition, when the hot and cold water valve 4 is operated with the right lever 4a to connect both the cold water inlet port 22 and the hot water inlet port 21 to the outlet port 23, the mixed water flow path C opens, and the raw water supplied from the water supply source and the hot water supplied from the hot water supply source are mixed and flow into the outlet port 23, and then passed through the connecting pipe 18 and the shower hose 16 and discharged from the nozzle 6.
[0024] On the other hand, when the hot and cold water valve 4 is closed, communication between the hot water inlet port 21 and the cold water inlet port 22 and the outlet port 23 is blocked, so that cold water and hot water that do not pass through the first water purifier 71 do not flow into the connecting pipe 18. In this state, when the purified water valve 5 is operated with the left lever 5a to connect the raw water inlet port 31 and the raw water outlet port 34, the raw water supply flow path D opens, and raw water supplied from the water source flows from the raw water inlet port 31 to the raw water outlet port 34 and is supplied to the first water purifier 71. The purified water purified by the first water purifier 71 passes through the purified water flow path E, the connecting pipe 18, and the shower hose 16 in that order, and is discharged from the nozzle 6. To adjust the temperature of the purified water, the left lever 5a is used to operate the purified water valve 5 to connect the raw water inlet port 31 to the branch outlet port 35. This opens the cold / hot flow path F1, and raw water supplied from the water supply source flows from the raw water inlet port 31 to the branch outlet port 35 and is supplied to the cold / hot water device 81. The raw water whose temperature has been adjusted by the cold / hot water device 81 is supplied to the first water purifier 71 through the raw water supply flow path D downstream of the purified water valve 5, and the temperature-adjusted purified water purified by the first water purifier 71 passes through the purified water flow path E, the connecting pipe 18, and the shower hose 16 in this order, before being discharged from the nozzle 6. It is preferable that the temperature of the raw water supplied to the first water purifier 71 through the hot and cold water device 81 be controlled to 40° C. or lower.
[0025] According to the faucet device of this embodiment, by operating the right lever 4a or the left lever 5a of the hot and cold water mixing faucet 1, the water discharge operation from the outlet can be switched between stopping water, discharging water that has not been passed through a water purifier, discharging hot water that has not been passed through a water purifier, discharging mixed hot and cold water that has not been passed through a water purifier, discharging purified water that has been passed through a water purifier but has not been temperature-adjusted, or discharging temperature-adjusted purified water that has been passed through a water purifier. In the water faucet device of this embodiment, the water purification valve 5 is provided on the inflow side (primary side) of the first water purifier 71, so that water pressure (direct pressure) is not constantly applied inside the water purifier 71. In other words, a source stop type can be adopted for the water purifier 71. The source stop type is preferable compared to the first stop type in that it requires less pressure resistance from the water purification cartridge, there is a low risk of water leakage, and maintenance work such as replacing the water purification cartridge in the water purifier 71 and replacing the hose connected to the water purifier 71 is easy.
[0026] [Variations] In this embodiment, the water purification valve (second switching unit) 5 may be configured to switch between a state in which at least one of the two branched flow paths is open and a state in which both are closed. In other words, the water purification valve (second switching unit) 5 may be configured to be switchable between a state in which only one of the raw water supply flow path D and the cold / hot flow path F1 is open, a state in which both are open, and a state in which both are closed. When both the raw water supply flow path D and the cold / hot flow path F1 are open, a mixture of raw water whose temperature is not adjusted and raw water whose temperature is adjusted is supplied to the first water purifier 71.
[0027] <Second embodiment> A second embodiment of the water faucet device according to the present invention will be described. The water faucet device of this embodiment is significantly different from the water faucet device of the first embodiment in the flow path that passes through the water purifier. The flow path that does not pass through the water purifier can be configured in the same way as the example of the first embodiment. FIG. 10 is a block diagram showing the pathway for switching between purified water and temperature-adjusted purified water and discharging the same, which is a main part of this embodiment. Figures 11 and 12 show an example of a water faucet device having the pathway shown in Figure 10, where Figure 11 is a bottom view of the core unit 10 and Figure 12 is a left side view of the core unit 10. In the following drawings, the same components as those in the above-described first embodiment are given the same reference numerals and their description will be omitted.
[0028] As shown in Figure 10, this embodiment is equipped with a cooling means 82 and a heating means 83 as water temperature adjustment means, and has, as the first temperature adjustment flow path F, a first cooling flow path F2 that branches off raw water from the raw water supply flow path D, cools it by the cooling means 82, and then sends it to the first water purifier 71, and a first heating flow path F3 that branches off raw water from the raw water supply flow path D, heats it by the heating means 83, and then sends it to the first water purifier 71. In this embodiment, the second switching unit 5 is a water purification valve 5 that can switch one of the three branched flow paths, i.e., the raw water supply flow path D, the first cooling flow path F2, and the first heating flow path F3, to an open state and the rest to a closed state, or all to a closed state.
[0029] 11, in the core portion 10 of the plug body of this embodiment, six passages are opened on the bottom surface of the leg mounting hole 12 at positions that do not interfere with the shower hose insertion hole 14. In this embodiment, the six passages are a water flow path A upstream of the hot and cold water valve 4 (which branches upstream of the hot and cold water valve 4 to become raw water supply flow path D), a hot water flow path B upstream of the hot and cold water valve 4, a mixed water flow path C (which is also the water flow path A or hot water flow path B downstream of the hot and cold water valve 4), a raw water supply flow path D downstream of the purified water valve 5, a first cooling flow path F2, and a first heating flow path F3.
[0030] In addition, at the left end of the core portion 10, as shown in Figure 12, a bottomed valve mounting hole 30 is formed into which the water purification valve 5 is screwed, and at the bottom of the valve mounting hole 30, a raw water inlet port 31, a raw water outlet port 34, a cooling side branch outlet port 35a, and a heating side branch outlet port 35b are provided. The raw water inlet port 31 communicates with a raw water supply flow path D branching off from the water flow path A upstream of the purified water valve 5, and the raw water outlet port 34 communicates with the raw water supply flow path D downstream of the purified water valve 5. The branch outlet port 35a on the cooling side communicates with the first cooling flow path F2, and the branch outlet port 35b on the heating side communicates with the first heating flow path F3. A water purification valve 5 is screwed into the valve mounting hole 30, and the water purification valve 5 can be used to switch between a state in which the raw water inlet port 31 is connected to one of the raw water outlet port 34, the cooling side branch outlet port 35a, or the heating side branch outlet port 35b (one of the raw water supply flow path D, the first cooling flow path F2, and the first heating flow path F3 is open and the rest are closed), or a state in which the raw water inlet port 31 is not connected to any port (the raw water supply flow path D, the first cooling flow path F2, and the first heating flow path F3 are all closed).
[0031] As in the first embodiment, the left lever 5a that operates the water purification valve 5 can be rotated back and forth, and the communication state between the raw water inlet port 31 and other ports can be switched by changing the position of the protrusion 5b in the rotational direction of the left lever 5a.
[0032] The cooling means 82 may be any means capable of continuously cooling the raw water flowing from the water supply source toward the discharge port 6, and examples thereof include a compressor type (vapor compression type) cooler and a Peltier type cooler. The heating means 83 may be any means capable of continuously heating the raw water flowing from the water supply source toward the discharge port 6. For example, it may be a metal rod heater that heats a metal rod in contact with the raw water, or a heater band type heating device in which a heat-generating band is wrapped around the periphery of a tank that contains the raw water. The metal rod type is preferred because of its good thermal efficiency, while the heater band type is preferred because of its relatively low energy cost. It is also preferable to provide a temperature control means such as a bimetal thermostat.
[0033] When using the faucet device of this embodiment, the method of discharging cold water, hot water, or a mixture of hot and cold water without passing through a water purifier is the same as in the first embodiment. When discharging purified water that has passed through the first water purifier 71, with the hot and cold water valve 4 closed, the purified water valve 5 is operated with the left lever 5a to connect the raw water inlet port 31 and the raw water outlet port 34. This opens the raw water supply flow path D, and raw water supplied from the water supply source flows from the raw water inlet port 31 to the raw water outlet port 34 and is supplied to the first water purifier 71. The purified water purified by the first water purifier 71 passes through the purified water flow path E, the connecting pipe 18, and the shower hose 16 in this order, and is discharged from the nozzle 6.
[0034] When discharging cooled temperature-controlled purified water, the purified water valve 5 is operated with the left lever 5a to communicate the raw water inlet port 31 with the branch outlet port 35a on the cooling side. This opens the first cooling flow path F2, and raw water supplied from the water supply source flows from the raw water inlet port 31 to the branch outlet port 35a on the cooling side and is supplied to the cooling means 82. The raw water cooled by the cooling means 82 is supplied to the first water purifier 71 through the raw water supply flow path D downstream of the purified water valve 5, and the temperature-controlled purified water purified by the first water purifier 71 passes through the purified water flow path E, the connecting pipe 18, and the shower hose 16 in this order, and is discharged from the nozzle 6.
[0035] When discharging heated temperature-controlled purified water, the purified water valve 5 is operated with the left lever 5a to communicate the raw water inlet port 31 with the branch outlet port 35b on the heating side. This opens the first heating flow path F3, and raw water supplied from the water supply source flows from the raw water inlet port 31 to the branch outlet port 35b on the heating side and is supplied to the heating means 83. The raw water heated by the heating means 83 is supplied to the first water purifier 71 through the raw water supply flow path D downstream of the purified water valve 5, and the temperature-controlled purified water purified by the first water purifier 71 passes through the purified water flow path E, the connecting pipe 18, and the shower hose 16 in this order, and is discharged from the nozzle 6.
[0036] The water faucet device of this embodiment also provides the same effects as those of the first embodiment. In particular, in this embodiment, since the heating means and the cooling means are independent, purified water at a desired temperature can be obtained instantly. Also, since a water purifier is installed downstream of the heating means and the cooling means, impurities and bacteria generated within the heating means and the cooling means can be removed.
[0037] [Variations] In this embodiment, the water purification valve (second switching unit) 5 may be configured to switch between a state in which at least one of the three branched flow paths is open and a state in which all of them are closed. That is, the water purification valve (second switching unit) 5 may be configured to be switchable between a state in which only one of the raw water supply flow path D, the first cooling flow path F2, and the first heating flow path F3 is open, a state in which only two of them are open, a state in which all of them are open, and a state in which all of them are closed. When only the raw water supply passage D and the first cooling passage F2 are open, a mixture of raw water that has not been temperature-adjusted and raw water cooled by the cooling means 82 is supplied to the first water purifier 71. When only the raw water supply passage D and the first heating passage F3 are open, a mixture of raw water that has not been temperature-adjusted and raw water heated by the heating means 83 is supplied to the first water purifier 71. When only the first cooling flow path F2 and the first heating flow path F3 are open, a mixture of raw water cooled by the cooling means 82 and raw water heated by the heating means 83 is supplied to the first water purifier 71. When the raw water supply passage D, the first cooling passage F2, and the first heating passage F3 are all open, a mixture of raw water cooled by the cooling means 82, raw water heated by the heating means 83, and raw water that has not been temperature-adjusted is supplied to the first water purifier 71.
[0038] <Third embodiment> A third embodiment of the water faucet device according to the present invention will now be described. The water faucet device of this embodiment is significantly different from the water faucet device of the first embodiment in the flow path that passes through the water purifier. The flow path that does not pass through the water purifier can be configured in the same way as the example of the first embodiment. FIG. 13 is a block diagram showing the path for switching between purified water and temperature-adjusted purified water and discharging the same, which is a main part of this embodiment. The faucet device of this embodiment differs significantly from the second embodiment in that it has a second water purifier 72 in addition to the first water purifier 71, and further has a second temperature control flow path G which branches the raw water from the raw water supply flow path D, passes it through the second water purifier 72, adjusts the temperature, and sends it to the outlet 6.
[0039] In this embodiment, the water temperature adjustment means includes a cooling means 82 and a heating means 83. The first temperature adjustment flow path F includes a first cooling flow path F2 that branches off raw water from the raw water supply flow path D, cools it by the cooling means 82, and then sends it to the first water purifier 71. The second temperature adjustment flow path G includes a second heating flow path G1 that branches off raw water from the raw water supply flow path D, passes it through the second water purifier 72, heats it by the heating means 83, and sends it to the discharge port 6. The second switching unit 5 in this embodiment is a water purification valve 5 that can switch one of the raw water supply passage D, the first cooling passage F2, and the second heating passage G1 to an open state and the rest to a closed state, or all to a closed state.
[0040] In the faucet device of this embodiment, the structure of the core section 10 can be the same as that of the second embodiment, and six passages are opened on the bottom surface of the leg mounting hole 12. In this embodiment, the six passages are a water flow path A upstream of the hot and cold water valve 4 (which branches upstream of the hot and cold water valve 4 to become the raw water supply flow path D), a hot water flow path B upstream of the hot and cold water valve 4, a mixed water flow path C (which is also the water flow path A or the hot water flow path B downstream of the hot and cold water valve 4), a raw water supply flow path D downstream of the purified water valve 5, a first cooling flow path F2, and a second heating flow path G1.
[0041] Also, the structure of the left end portion of the core portion 10 differs from that of the second embodiment in that the branch outlet port 35b on the heating side communicates with the second heating flow path G1. In this embodiment, the purification valve 5 screwed into the valve mounting hole 30 can be switched between a state in which the raw water inlet port 31 is connected to one of the raw water outlet port 34, the cooling side branch outlet port 35a, or the heating side branch outlet port 35b (one of the raw water supply flow path D, the first cooling flow path F2, and the second heating flow path G1 is open and the rest are closed), or a state in which the raw water inlet port 31 is not connected to any port (the raw water supply flow path D, the first cooling flow path F2, and the second heating flow path G1 are all closed). The cooling means 82 and the heating means 83 may be similar to those in the second embodiment.
[0042] When using the faucet device of this embodiment, the method of discharging cold water, hot water, or a mixture of hot and cold water without passing through a water purifier is the same as in the first embodiment. The method of discharging purified water that has not been temperature-adjusted after passing through the first water purifier 71, and the method of discharging cooled, temperature-adjusted purified water are the same as those in the second embodiment. When discharging heated temperature-controlled purified water, the purified water valve 5 is operated with the left lever 5a to communicate the raw water inlet port 31 with the branch outlet port 35b on the heating side. This opens the second heating flow path G1, and raw water supplied from the water supply source flows from the raw water inlet port 31 to the branch outlet port 35b on the heating side and is supplied to the second water purifier 72. The purified water purified by the second water purifier 72 is supplied to the heating means 83. The purified water heated by the heating means 83 passes through the purified water flow path E, the connecting pipe 18, and the shower hose 16 in this order, and is discharged from the nozzle 6.
[0043] The water faucet device of this embodiment also provides the same effects as those of the first embodiment. In particular, in this embodiment, the purified water heated by the heating means 83 is discharged without passing through a water purifier, so the upper limit of the temperature of the heated temperature-controlled purified water can be made higher than in the first and second embodiments.
[0044] [Variations] In this embodiment, the water purification valve (second switching unit) 5 may be configured to switch between a state in which at least one of the three branched flow paths is open and a state in which all of them are closed. That is, the water purification valve (second switching unit) 5 may be configured to be switchable between a state in which only one of the raw water supply flow path D, the first cooling flow path F2, and the second heating flow path G1 is open, a state in which only two of them are open, a state in which all of them are open, and a state in which all of them are closed. When only the raw water supply passage D and the first cooling passage F2 are open, a mixture of raw water that has not been temperature-adjusted and raw water cooled by the cooling means 82 is supplied to the first water purifier 71. When only the raw water supply flow path D and the second heating flow path G1 are open, a mixture of purified water obtained by purifying untemperature-adjusted raw water by the first water purifier 71 and purified water obtained by purifying the raw water by the second water purifier 72 and then heating it by the heating means 83 is sent to the outlet 6. When only the first cooling flow path F2 and the second heating flow path G1 are open, a mixture of purified water obtained by purifying raw water cooled by the cooling means 82 and the first water purifier 71, and purified water obtained by purifying the raw water by the second water purifier 72 and then heating the raw water by the heating means 83 is sent to the outlet 6. When the raw water supply flow path D, the first cooling flow path F2, and the second heating flow path G1 are all open, a mixture of raw water that has not been temperature-adjusted, raw water cooled by the cooling means 82 and purified by the first water purifier 71, and raw water that has been purified by the second water purifier 72 and then heated by the heating means 83 are sent to the discharge outlet 6.
[0045] <Fourth embodiment> A fourth embodiment of the water faucet device according to the present invention will now be described. The water faucet device of this embodiment is significantly different from the water faucet device of the first embodiment in the flow path that passes through the water purifier. The flow path that does not pass through the water purifier can be configured in the same way as the example of the first embodiment. FIG. 14 is a block diagram showing the pathway for switching between purified water and temperature-adjusted purified water and discharging the same, which is a main part of this embodiment. The faucet device of this embodiment differs significantly from the second embodiment in that it has a water purification valve 5 and a solenoid valve 7 as a second switching unit, and the water purification valve 5 and the solenoid valve 7 can be operated with a left lever (second operation unit) 5a. A sensor electrically connected to the solenoid valve 7 is provided in the water purification valve 5 that is linked to the left lever (second operation unit) 5a. The solenoid valve 7 is provided in the middle of the raw water supply flow path D branched off from the water flow path A, upstream of the first water purifier 71. The solenoid valve 7 is capable of branching off into three flow paths, namely, the raw water supply flow path D, the first cooling flow path F2, and the first heating flow path F3, and is capable of switching one of the three flow paths to an open state and the rest to a closed state. In this embodiment, the solenoid valve 7 is provided in the core section 10 downstream of the water purification valve 5 . The structure and operation system of the solenoid valve may be appropriately selected from known solenoid valves. For example, the solenoid valves described in JP 2010-51880 A, JP 2010-133132 A, JP 2020-195971 A, etc. may be used.
[0046] In the core portion 10 of the faucet device of this embodiment, the bottom surface of the leg mounting hole 12 has six passages opening therein similar to those shown in FIG. 15, one inlet port (raw water inlet port 31) and one collective outlet port 36 are provided at the bottom of the valve mounting hole 30 at the left end of the core portion 10. The collective outlet port 36 is provided so as to simultaneously communicate with all of the raw water supply passage D, the first cooling passage F2, and the first heating passage F3. A water purification valve 5 capable of opening and closing the raw water supply flow path D is screwed into the valve mounting hole 30. The water purification valve 5 can switch between a state in which the raw water inlet port 31 and the collective outlet port 36 are in communication with each other and a state in which the raw water inlet port 31 and the collective outlet port 36 are not in communication with each other (a state in which the raw water supply flow path D, the first cooling flow path F2, and the first heating flow path F3 are all closed). In addition, the left lever 5a that operates the water purification valve 5 can be rotated back and forth, and by changing the position of the protrusion 5b in the rotational direction of the left lever 5a, the water purification valve 5 can be opened and closed, and the flow path in the solenoid valve 7 can be opened and closed.
[0047] In this embodiment, by directing the protrusion 5b of the left lever 5a upward, the raw water inlet port 31 and the collective outlet port 36 are in communication with each other, and the solenoid valve 7 is operated so as to communicate the raw water inlet port 31 with the raw water supply flow path D downstream of the purified water valve 5. As a result, only the raw water supply flow path D is in an open state. When the protrusion 5b is rotated 45 degrees forward from the upward facing state, the raw water inlet port 31 and the collective outlet port 36 are in communication with each other, and the solenoid valve 7 operates to connect the raw water inlet port 31 and the first cooling flow path F2. As a result, only the first cooling flow path F2 is opened. When the protrusion 5b is rotated 45 degrees backward from the upward facing state, the raw water inlet port 31 and the collective outlet port 36 are in communication with each other, and the solenoid valve 7 operates to connect the raw water inlet port 31 and the first heated flow path F3. As a result, only the first heated flow path F3 is opened. When the protrusion 5b is rotated 90 degrees forward from a state in which it faces upward to a state in which the protrusion 5b faces forward, the raw water inlet port 31 and the collective outlet port 36 are not in communication with each other. That is, the raw water supply passage D, the first cooling passage F2, and the first heating passage F3 are all closed.
[0048] When using the faucet device of this embodiment, the method of discharging cold water, hot water, or a mixture of hot and cold water without passing through a water purifier is the same as in the first embodiment. The water faucet device is brought into a water-stop state by closing the hot and cold water valve 4 and pointing the protrusion 5b of the left lever 5a forward. In this state, when the left lever 5a is operated to open only the raw water supply flow path D, raw water supplied from the water source is supplied from the raw water inlet port 31 through the purified water valve 5 and the solenoid valve 7 to the first water purifier 71, and the purified water purified by the first water purifier 71 passes in this order through the purified water flow path E, the connecting pipe 18, and the shower hose 16, and is then discharged from the nozzle 6. Furthermore, when discharging cooled temperature-controlled purified water, the left lever 5a is operated to open only the first cooling flow path F2, and raw water supplied from the water supply source is supplied to the cooling means 82 through the purified water valve 5 and the solenoid valve 7. The raw water cooled by the cooling means 82 is supplied to the first water purifier 71 through the raw water supply flow path D downstream of the solenoid valve 7. The temperature-controlled purified water purified by the first water purifier 71 passes through the purified water flow path E, the connecting pipe 18, and the shower hose 16 in this order, and is discharged from the nozzle 6. Furthermore, when discharging heated temperature-controlled purified water, the left lever 5a is operated to open only the first heating flow path F3, and raw water supplied from the water supply source is supplied to the heating means 83 through the purified water valve 5 and the solenoid valve 7. The raw water heated by the heating means 83 is supplied to the first water purifier 71 through the raw water supply flow path D downstream of the solenoid valve 7. The temperature-controlled purified water purified by the first water purifier 71 passes through the purified water flow path E, the connecting pipe 18, and the shower hose 16 in this order, and is discharged from the nozzle 6.
[0049] According to the faucet device of this embodiment, by operating the right lever 4a or the left lever 5a of the hot and cold water mixing faucet 1, it is possible to switch between discharging hot water, cold water, mixed hot and cold water, purified water that has not been temperature-adjusted, and cooled or heated temperature-adjusted purified water. In the water faucet device of this embodiment, the water purification valve 5 is provided on the inflow side (primary side) of the first water purifier 71, so that water pressure (direct pressure) is not constantly applied inside the water purifier 71. In other words, the water purifier 71 can be of a stop-source type. Furthermore, since a water purifier is installed downstream of the heating means and the cooling means, impurities, bacteria, etc. that occur within the heating means or cooling means can be removed. It is also possible to provide the solenoid valve 7 downstream of the leg 11 and have four passages open to the bottom surface of the leg mounting hole 12 as shown in Fig. 17 below. With this configuration, there is no need to add ports or hoses to the bottom surface of the core part 10, making it possible to make the core part more compact.
[0050] [Variations] In this embodiment, the second switching unit (the purified water valve 5 and the solenoid valve 7) may be configured to switch between a state in which at least one of the three branched flow paths is open and a state in which all of them are closed. In other words, the second switching unit may be configured to be able to switch between a state in which only one of the raw water supply flow path D, the first cooling flow path F2, and the first heating flow path F3 is open, a state in which only two of them are open, a state in which all of them are open, and a state in which all of them are closed.
[0051] <Fifth embodiment> A fifth embodiment of the water faucet device according to the present invention will now be described. The water faucet device of this embodiment is significantly different from the water faucet device of the first embodiment in the flow path that passes through the water purifier. The flow path that does not pass through the water purifier can be configured in the same way as the example of the first embodiment. FIG. 16 is a block diagram showing the pathway for switching between purified water and temperature-adjusted purified water and discharging the same, which is a main part of this embodiment. The water faucet device of this embodiment differs significantly from the fourth embodiment in that the solenoid valve 7, the cooling means 82, and the heating means 83 are provided downstream of the first water purifier 71.
[0052] The faucet device of this embodiment has, as a third temperature control flow path H, a purified water cooling flow path H1 that branches off the purified water from the purified water flow path E, cools it by cooling means 82, and then sends it to the outlet 6, and a purified water heating flow path H2 that branches off the purified water from the purified water flow path E, heats it by heating means 83, and then sends it to the outlet 6. The solenoid valve 7 (second switching unit) can branch into three flow paths: a purified water flow path E, a purified water cooling flow path H1, and a purified water heating flow path H2, and can be switched so that one of the three flow paths is open and the rest are closed.
[0053] 17, in the core part 10 of the faucet device of this embodiment, four passages are opened on the bottom surface of the leg mounting hole 12 at positions that do not interfere with the shower hose insertion hole 14. The four passages are water flow path A upstream of the hot and cold water valve 4 (which branches off upstream of the hot and cold water valve 4 to become raw water supply flow path D), hot water flow path B upstream of the hot and cold water valve 4, mixed water flow path C (which is also water flow path A or hot water flow path B downstream of the hot and cold water valve 4), and raw water supply flow path D downstream of the purified water valve 5.
[0054] 15, one inlet port (raw water inlet port 31) and one collective outlet port 36 are provided at the bottom of the valve mounting hole 30 at the left end of the core portion 10. The collective outlet port 36 communicates with the raw water supply passage D. A water purification valve 5 is screwed into the valve mounting hole 30, and the water purification valve 5 can be switched between a state in which the raw water inlet port 31 and the collective outlet port 36 are connected, and a state in which the raw water inlet port 31 and the collective outlet port 36 are not connected (the raw water supply flow path D is closed). The left lever 5a that operates the water purification valve 5 can be rotated back and forth, and by changing the position of the protrusion 5b in the rotational direction of the left lever 5a, the water purification valve 5 can be opened and closed, and the flow path in the solenoid valve 7 can be opened and closed.
[0055] In this embodiment, by pointing the protrusion 5b of the left lever 5a upward, the solenoid valve 7 is operated so that the raw water inlet port 31 and the collective outlet port 36 are connected and only the purified water flow path E is open. When the protrusion 5b is rotated 45 degrees forward from an upward facing position, the solenoid valve 7 operates so that the raw water inlet port 31 and the collective outlet port 36 are in communication and only the purified water cooling flow path H1 is open. When the protrusion 5b is rotated 45 degrees backward from an upward facing position, the solenoid valve 7 operates so that the raw water inlet port 31 and the collective outlet port 36 are in communication and only the purified water heating flow path H2 is open. When the protrusion 5b is rotated 90 degrees forward from the upward facing state to the forward facing state, the raw water inlet port 31 and the collective outlet port 36 are not in communication with each other. In other words, the purified water flow path E, the purified water cooling flow path H1, and the purified water heating flow path H2 are all closed.
[0056] When using the faucet device of this embodiment, the method of discharging cold water, hot water, or a mixture of hot and cold water without passing through a water purifier is the same as in the first embodiment. The water faucet device is brought into a water-stop state by closing the hot and cold water valve 4 and pointing the protrusion 5b of the left lever 5a forward. In this state, when the left lever 5a is operated to open only the purified water flow path E, raw water supplied from the water source is supplied from the raw water inlet port 31 through the purified water valve 5 to the first water purifier 71, and the purified water purified by the first water purifier 71 passes through the purified water flow path E, the solenoid valve 7, the connecting pipe 18, and the shower hose 16 in that order, before being discharged from the nozzle 6. When discharging cooled temperature-controlled purified water, the left lever 5a is operated to open only the purified water cooling flow path H1. This causes purified water in the purified water flow path E to pass through the solenoid valve 7 and be supplied to the cooling means 82. The temperature-controlled purified water cooled by the cooling means 82 passes through the purified water flow path E downstream of the solenoid valve 7, the connecting pipe 18, and the shower hose 16 in this order, and is then discharged from the nozzle 6. When discharging heated temperature-controlled purified water, the left lever 5a is operated to open only the purified water heating flow path H2. This causes purified water in the purified water flow path E to pass through the solenoid valve 7 and be supplied to the heating means 83. The temperature-controlled purified water heated by the heating means 83 passes through the purified water flow path E downstream of the solenoid valve 7, the connecting pipe 18, and the shower hose 16 in this order, and is then discharged from the nozzle 6. The raw water inlet port 31 and the collective outlet port 36 are not in communication with each other.
[0057] According to the faucet device of this embodiment, by operating the right lever 4a or the left lever 5a of the hot and cold water mixing faucet 1, it is possible to switch between discharging hot water, cold water, mixed hot and cold water, purified water that has not been temperature-adjusted, and cooled or heated temperature-adjusted purified water. Furthermore, since the raw water supply flow path D is not branched, there is no need to add ports or hoses to the bottom surface of the core portion 10, making it possible to make the core portion 10 compact. In addition, since the purified water heated by the heating means is discharged without passing through a water purifier, the upper limit of the temperature of the heated temperature-controlled purified water can be increased.
[0058] [Variations] In this embodiment, the second switching unit (purified water valve 5 and solenoid valve 7) may be configured to switch between a state in which at least one of the three branched flow paths is open and a state in which all of them are closed. In other words, the second switching unit may be configured to be able to switch between a state in which only one of the purified water flow path E, the purified water cooling flow path H1, and the purified water heating flow path H2 is open, a state in which only two of them are open, a state in which all of them are open, and a state in which all of them are closed. When only the purified water flow path E and the purified water cooling flow path H1 are open, a mixture of purified water that has not been temperature-adjusted and purified water cooled by the cooling means 82 is sent to the discharge port 6. When only the purified water flow path E and the purified water heating flow path H2 are open, a mixture of purified water whose temperature is not adjusted and purified water heated by the heating means 83 is sent to the outlet 6. When only the purified water cooling flow path H1 and the purified water heating flow path H2 are open, a mixture of purified water cooled by the cooling means 82 and purified water heated by the heating means 83 is sent to the outlet 6. When the purified water flow path E, the purified water cooling flow path H1, and the purified water heating flow path H2 are all open, a mixture of purified water cooled by the cooling means 82, purified water heated by the heating means 83, and purified water that has not been temperature-adjusted is sent to the outlet 6.
[0059] Sixth embodiment A sixth embodiment of the water faucet device according to the present invention will now be described. FIG. 18 is a flow chart showing a schematic configuration of an example of a water faucet device of this embodiment. The water faucet device of this embodiment is significantly different from the water faucet device of the first embodiment in the flow path that passes through the water purifier. The flow path that does not pass through the water purifier can be configured in the same way as the example of the first embodiment. The water faucet device of this embodiment also differs significantly from the first embodiment in that the flow path passing through the water purifier does not have any branches.
[0060] 18, the faucet device of this embodiment includes a hot and cold water mixing faucet 1 having a discharge port 6, a water purifier 70, and a water temperature adjustment means 80. In addition, as flow paths passing through the water purifier, there are a raw water supply flow path D that supplies raw water from a water supply source to the water purifier 70, and a purified water flow path E that sends purified water that has passed through the water purifier 70 to the discharge port 6. The water temperature adjusting means 80 is provided midway through the raw water supply flow path D, and the raw water in the raw water supply flow path D is supplied to the water purifier 70 after having its temperature adjusted by the water temperature adjusting means 80. In this embodiment, a water purification valve (switching unit) 8 provided in the hot and cold water mixing faucet 1 switches between opening and closing of the raw water supply flow path D. The water purification valve 8 is operated by a left lever (operating unit, not shown) in the same manner as in the first embodiment. As the water temperature adjustment means 80, for example, a hot / cold water dispenser 81, a cooling means 82, or a heating means 83 can be used. The hot / cold water dispenser 81 is preferred.
[0061] According to the faucet device of this embodiment, by operating the right or left lever of the hot and cold water mixing faucet 1, it is possible to switch between discharging hot water, cold water, hot and cold water mixture, or temperature-adjusted purified water whose temperature has been adjusted by the water temperature adjustment means 80. In the water faucet device of this embodiment, the water purification valve 8 is provided on the inflow side (primary side) of the water purifier 70, so that water pressure (direct pressure) is not constantly applied inside the water purifier 70. In other words, the water purifier 70 can be of a stop-source type. Furthermore, since the raw water supply flow path D is not branched, there is no need to add ports or hoses to the bottom surface of the core portion 10, making it possible to make the core portion 10 compact. In addition, since a water purifier is installed downstream of the water temperature adjustment means, impurities, bacteria, etc. that occur within the water temperature adjustment means can be removed.
[0062] Seventh embodiment A seventh embodiment of the water faucet device according to the present invention will now be described. FIG. 19 is a flow chart showing a schematic configuration of an example of a water faucet device of this embodiment. The faucet device of this embodiment differs from the faucet device of the sixth embodiment in that a water temperature adjustment means 80 is provided downstream of the water purifier .
[0063] 19, the faucet device of this embodiment includes a hot and cold water mixing faucet 1 having a discharge port 6, a water purifier 70, and a water temperature adjustment means 80. In addition, as flow paths passing through the water purifier, there are a raw water supply flow path D that supplies raw water from a water supply source to the water purifier 70, and a purified water flow path E that sends purified water that has passed through the water purifier 70 to the discharge port 6. The water temperature adjusting means 80 is provided midway along the purified water flow path E, and the raw water in the raw water supply flow path D is purified by the water purifier 70, has its temperature adjusted by the water temperature adjusting means 80, and is sent to the discharge port 6.
[0064] According to the faucet device of this embodiment, by operating the right or left lever of the hot and cold water mixing faucet 1, it is possible to switch between discharging hot water, cold water, hot and cold water mixture, or temperature-adjusted purified water whose temperature has been adjusted by the water temperature adjustment means 80. The water faucet device of this embodiment also provides the same effects as those of the sixth embodiment. Furthermore, since the raw water supply flow path D is not branched, there is no need to add ports or hoses to the bottom surface of the core portion 10, making it possible to make the core portion 10 compact. In addition, since the temperature-controlled purified water heated by the water temperature adjustment means is discharged without passing through the water purifier, the upper limit of the temperature of the temperature-controlled purified water can be increased.
[0065] It should be noted that the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and additions, omissions, substitutions, and other modifications of the configuration are possible without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
[0066] For example, in the first to seventh embodiments, a child lock mechanism may be provided on one or both of the right lever (first operating part) 4a and the left lever (second operating part) 5a, if necessary. The child lock mechanism can be configured in a known manner as appropriate, such as a structure that requires the lever to be operated while pressing a release button when moving the lever in the direction of ejecting high-temperature hot water or temperature-controlled purified water.
[0067] For example, in the examples of the first to seventh embodiments described above, a structure for switching between discharging hot water, cold water, or a mixture of hot and cold water is arranged at the right end of the core portion, and a structure for switching between discharging non-temperature-adjusted purified water, cooled or heated temperature-adjusted purified water is arranged at the left end of the core portion, but the left and right may be reversed. For example, in the examples of the first to seventh embodiments described above, the through hole of the core portion is used as a shower hose insertion hole, a holder is provided to guide the shower hose so that it can be inserted, and the shower hose can be pulled out from the holder and used, but it is also possible to use a non-bendable pipe rather than a shower hose for the water discharge pipe.
[0068] For example, the examples of the first to seventh embodiments described above are hot and cold water mixing faucets that have a configuration for discharging water that has not passed through a water purifier and a configuration for discharging purified water, and can switch between these to discharge water, but the faucet device may also have only a configuration for discharging purified water. For example, FIG. 20 is a flow chart showing a schematic configuration of an example of a water faucet device that discharges only purified water in the first embodiment. The faucet device of this embodiment can switch the water discharge operation from the outlet 6 between stopping water, discharging purified water that has not been temperature-adjusted after passing through a water purifier, or discharging temperature-adjusted purified water that has been passed through a water purifier. In this example, the structure for switching the water discharge operation from the discharge port 6 is disposed on the left side of the core part, but the left and right may be reversed.
