The second hole 31c is a circular hole when viewed in the vertical direction Z. The second protrusion 25 is fitted into the second hole 31c. The second protrusion 25 may be loosely fitted into the second hole 31c, or the second protrusion 25 may be lightly pressed into the second hole 31c.

[0051] As shown in FIG. 1, the plurality of drawers 40 include a first drawer 41 and a second drawer 42. A plurality of first drawers 41 are provided. There are four first drawers 41, two of which are stored in the first storage section 70a and two of which are stored in the second storage section 70b. The two first drawers 41 stored in the first storage section 70a are arranged side by side in the vertical direction Z. The two first drawers 41 stored in the second storage section 70b are arranged side by side in the vertical direction Z. The plurality of first drawers 41 have the same shape and size as each other. As shown in FIG. 2, the first drawer 41 is long in the left-right direction Y and has a box shape that opens upward.

[0052] "The multiple first drawer sections 41 have the same shape and size" does not mean that the multiple first drawer sections 41 have exactly the same shape and size, but includes cases where the multiple first drawer sections 41 have approximately the same shape and size. "The multiple first drawer sections 41 have approximately the same shape and size" includes cases where the multiple first drawer sections 41 have slightly different shapes and sizes within the tolerance range that occurs when manufacturing each of the first drawer sections 41.

[0053] The first drawer section 41 has a drawer main body section 41a and an end plate section 41b. The drawer main body section 41a is supported movably in the front-rear direction X by a pair of rail members 22 arranged opposite each other in the left-right direction Y inside the storage section 70. The drawer main body section 41a in the first drawer section 41 stored in the first storage section 70a is supported by the rail member 22 of the first side wall member 20a and the rail member 22 of the third side wall member 20c. The drawer main body sections 41a in the multiple first drawers 41 have the same shape and size as each other. The end plate section 41b is a rectangular plate extending in the left-right direction Y with the plate surface facing the front-rear direction X. The end plate portion 41b is fixed to the front (+X side) end of the drawer main body portion 41a. The end plate portion 41b protrudes upward beyond the drawer main body portion 41a. The end plate portions 41b of the multiple first drawers 41 have the same shape and size as one another.

[0054] The second drawer section 42 is stored in a portion of the first storage section 70a between the third side wall member 20c and the fifth side wall member 20e in the left-right direction Y. The second drawer section 42 is supported so as to be movable in the front-rear direction X by the uppermost rail member 22 among the rail members 22 provided on the third side wall member 20c and the rail member 22 provided on the fifth side wall member 20e. The dimension of the second drawer section 42 in the left-right direction Y is smaller than the dimension of the first drawer section 41 in the left-right direction Y.

[0055] 1, the kitchen unit main body 100a has a front panel 61 that covers the upper end of the inside of the second storage section 70b from the front (+X direction). The front panel 61 is a rectangular plate that is long in the left-right direction Y and whose plate surface faces the front-rear direction X. The front panel 61 covers the portion of the kitchen sink 52 that protrudes downward from the second mounting hole 31b from the front.

[0056] 8, the method for constructing the kitchen unit 100 includes a support fixing step S1, a side wall member mounting step S2, a top wall member mounting step S3, a fascia mounting step S4, a drawer installation step S5, a dishwasher installation step S6, and a stove installation step S7. The method for constructing the kitchen unit 100 in this embodiment can be performed by, for example, one worker. The kitchen unit 100 may be constructed by multiple workers.

[0057] The support part fixing step S1 is a step of fixing the support part 10 to a wall surface WS. As shown in Fig. 9, the support part fixing step S1 fixes the first extension member 10a and the second extension member 10b to the wall surface WS. In the support part fixing step S1, an operator fixes the first extension member 10a and the second extension member 10b to the wall surface WS with a plurality of screw members.

[0058] The sidewall member mounting step S2 is a step of mounting the multiple sidewall members 20 to the support portion 10. In the sidewall member mounting step S2, the worker engages the multiple sidewall members 20 with the support portion 10 in a state of being spaced upward from the floor surface FS by engaging the engaging portion 23h with the support portion 10 from above. As shown in FIG. 10, the worker brings the engaging portions 23h of the two first mounting members 23 provided on the sidewall member 20 close to the first extension member 10a and the second extension member 10b from above, respectively, to engage the sidewall member 20 with the first extension member 10a and the second extension member 10b from above. As shown in FIG. 11, when engaging the multiple sidewall members 20 with the support portion 10, the worker fits each first protrusion 12 provided on the support portion 10 into a first hole portion 23g provided in the engaging portion 23h of each first mounting member 23 from below. For each sidewall member 20, the worker fits the first protrusion 12 of the first extension member 10a and the first protrusion 12 of the second extension member 10b into the first hole 23g of each engagement portion 23h of the pair of first mounting members 23. The multiple sidewall members 20 are provisionally fixed to the support portion 10 by engaging the engagement portions 23h with the support portion 10 from above.

[0059] The worker engages the five sidewall members 20 with the support portion 10 to provisionally fix them, and then permanently fixes the multiple sidewall members 20 to the support portion 10. As shown in FIG. 12, the worker fixes the second fixing portion 23b of each sidewall member 20 to the support portion 10 with multiple screw members 82, thereby fixing the multiple sidewall members 20 to the support portion 10. When fixing the multiple sidewall members 20 to the support portion 10, the worker passes the multiple screw members 82 through the second fixing portion 23b of the first mounting member 23 and the support portion 10, and tightens them to the wall surface WS. In the sidewall member mounting step S2, after engaging one sidewall member 20 with the support portion 10, the worker may fix the sidewall member 20 engaged with the support portion 10 to the support portion 10 with multiple screw members 82 before engaging another sidewall member 20 with the support portion 10.

[0060] In the sidewall member mounting step S2, after engaging the third sidewall member 20c and the fourth sidewall member 20d with the support portion 10 and before fixing the third sidewall member 20c and the fourth sidewall member 20d with the screw member 82, the worker places the bottom wall portion 26 between the third sidewall member 20c and the fourth sidewall member 20d. The bottom wall portion 26 is mounted between the third sidewall member 20c and the fourth sidewall member 20d by fitting the dowels provided on the bottom wall portion 26 into the dowel holes provided on the sidewall main body portion 21 of the third sidewall member 20c and the sidewall main body portion 21 of the fourth sidewall member 20d. In the sidewall member mounting step S2, the five sidewall members 20 and the bottom wall portion 26 are mounted to the support portion 10 as shown in FIG.

[0061] The top wall member mounting step S3 is a step of mounting the top wall member 30 above the multiple side wall members 20. As shown in Fig. 13, in the top wall member mounting step S3, the worker brings the top wall member 30, to which the kitchen sink 52 is attached, close to the multiple side wall members 20 from above, and places the top wall member 30 above the multiple side wall members 20. As shown in Fig. 14, when placing the top wall member 30 above the multiple side wall members 20, the worker fits the second protrusions 25 provided on each side wall member 20 into the second hole portions 31c provided in the top wall member 30. By fitting the second protrusions 25 into the second hole portions 31c, the positions of each side wall member 20 in the left-right direction Y are determined relative to the top wall member 30. After placing the top wall member 30 above the multiple side wall members 20, the worker fixes the fourth fixing portion 24b of the second mounting member 24 to the top wall main body portion 31 of the top wall member 30 with multiple screw members 84, as shown in Fig. 15. Although not shown in the figure, the worker also fixes the fixed portion 23i of the first mounting member 23 to the top wall main body portion 31 of the top wall member 30 with screw members.

[0062] The fascia mounting process S4 is a process of mounting the fascia 61. In the fascia mounting process S4, the worker fixes the fascia 61 to the second side wall member 20b and the fourth side wall member 20d, and covers a part of the kitchen sink 52 exposed inside the second storage section 70b from the front (+X direction) with the fascia 61.

[0063] The drawer section installation step S5 is a step of installing the drawer section 40. In the drawer section installation step S5, the worker installs the first drawer section 41 and the second drawer section 42. The worker places the drawer main body section 41a of the first drawer section 41 in each storage section 70 by supporting it on a pair of rail members 22, and then attaches the end plate section 41b to each drawer main body section 41a from the front (+X direction). The worker also installs the second drawer section 42 in the same manner as the first drawer section 41. In the drawer section installation step S5, the worker may install either the first drawer section 41 or the second drawer section 42 first. In the drawer section installation step S5, the worker may install the drawer main body section 41a of the first drawer section 41 and the drawer main body section of the second drawer section 42, and then attach each end plate section to each drawer main body section.

[0064] The dishwasher installation step S6 is a step of installing dishwasher 53. In the dishwasher installation step S6, the worker stores dishwasher 53 in third storage section 70c, and attaches end panel section 63 to the front side of dishwasher 53.

[0065] The stove installation step S7 is a step of installing the stove 51. In the stove installation step S7, the worker installs the stove 51 in the first mounting hole 31a of the top wall member 30. In this manner, the kitchen unit 100 is assembled, and the construction of the kitchen unit 100 is completed.

[0066] As described above, the kitchen unit 100 includes a kitchen unit body 100a having a storage section 70. The kitchen unit body 100a is attached to a wall surface WS in a state separated upward from a floor surface FS. Since the kitchen unit body 100a is separated upward from the floor surface FS, even if the floor surface FS is uneven, the kitchen unit body 100a is not affected by the floor surface FS when adjusting the installation position and installation angle of the kitchen unit body 100a, and the worker can easily install the kitchen unit body 100a. Since the kitchen unit 100 is attached to the wall surface WS, the worker can freely adjust the height of the top wall member 30 of the kitchen unit 100 by adjusting the position in the vertical direction Z of the part of the wall surface WS to which the kitchen unit 100 is attached. In order to change the height of the top wall member 30, it is not necessary to prepare multiple types of kitchen units 100 with different dimensions in the vertical direction Z. The worker can install kitchen units 100 with different heights of the top wall member 30 using one size of kitchen unit 100.

[0067] Because the kitchen unit main body 100a is spaced above the floor surface FS, the space between the underside of the kitchen unit main body 100a and the floor surface FS can be used as a storage space. For example, a trash can, a cardboard box, etc. can be stored in the storage space. Because the kitchen unit main body 100a is spaced above the floor surface FS, it is easy for a user to clean the floor surface FS located below the kitchen unit main body 100a. It is easy for a user to clean the area of the floor surface FS near the kickboard of the kitchen unit 100, which is prone to getting dirty.

[0068] The kitchen unit body 100a has a support part 10 fixed to a wall surface WS, a plurality of side wall members 20 fixed to the support part 10 and arranged at intervals in a left-right direction Y intersecting with a vertical direction Z, and a top wall member 30 arranged above the plurality of side wall members 20. A portion of the storage part 70 located in the left-right direction Y is formed by the side wall member 20. A portion of the storage part 70 located at an upper part is formed by the top wall member 30. Each of the plurality of side wall members 20 has an engagement part 23h that is engaged with the support part 10 from above. An operator can provisionally fix the side wall member 20 to the support part 10 by engaging the engagement part 23h with the support part 10 from above. An operator can easily attach the plurality of side wall members 20 to the support part 10 by provisionally fixing the plurality of side wall members 20 to the support part 10 and then permanently fixing each side wall member 20 to the support part 10. The worker can easily assemble the storage section 70 by placing the top wall member 30 above the multiple side wall members 20 attached to the support portion 10. The worker does not need to carry the pre-assembled storage section to the construction site, and does not need to handle the pre-assembled storage section during construction. Compared to assembling the kitchen unit by combining the pre-assembled storage section with other parts, the worker can construct the kitchen unit 100 by assembling multiple parts that are easy to handle even by one person, and the assembly of the kitchen unit 100 can be easily performed by providing the engagement portion 23h as described above. According to the kitchen unit 100 of this embodiment, the kitchen unit 100 can be easily assembled in a short time by a small number of people, and the workability of the kitchen unit 100 can be improved.

[0069] Since there is no need to transport the storage unit 70 in a pre-assembled state to the construction site, the worker can pack up the parts required to construct the kitchen unit 100 in a small size by stacking and packing the components for assembling the storage unit 70 together. Compared to transporting a pre-assembled storage unit to the construction site, the worker can load a larger number of parts for the kitchen unit 100 onto a transport truck at once. Since it is easy to transport parts for multiple kitchen units 100 at once, for example, even if it is necessary to install kitchen units 100 in each of the homes in an apartment building, the worker can easily transport the parts for the kitchen unit 100 to be installed in each home.

[0070] Each of the multiple sidewall members 20 has a sidewall main body portion 21 and a first mounting member 23 fixed to the sidewall main body portion 21. The first mounting member 23 has an engaging portion 23h. By providing the engaging portion 23h on the first mounting member 23, which is a separate member from the sidewall main body portion 21, it is possible to easily provide the engaging portion 23h on the sidewall member 20. By using a metal fitting or the like as the first mounting member 23, the sidewall member 20 can be stably and firmly engaged with the support portion 10. This makes it easier for an operator to perform the task of fixing the sidewall member 20 to the support portion 10.

[0071] The kitchen unit 100 includes a drawer section 40 that is stored in a storage section 70. The sidewall member 20, which constitutes a part of the storage section 70 in which the drawer section 40 is stored, has a rail member 22 that movably supports the drawer section 40. The first mounting member 23 and the rail member 22 are fixed to a surface of the sidewall main body section 21 facing the same side in the left-right direction Y. The dimension of the sidewall member 20 in the left-right direction Y can be made smaller than when the first mounting member 23 and the rail member 22 are fixed to different surfaces of the sidewall main body section 21 in the left-right direction Y. When a worker stacks and packs a plurality of sidewall members 20, the worker can more suitably pack the plurality of sidewall members 20 into a small size. Since the parts required for constructing the kitchen unit 100 can be packed into a small size, the number of kitchen units 100 that can be loaded at one time on a transport truck can be increased.

[0072] A plurality of drawer sections 40 are provided. The plurality of drawer sections 40 include two or more drawer sections 40 having the same shape and size, i.e., a plurality of first drawer sections 41. Since the plurality of first drawer sections 41 can be made common, the plurality of first drawer sections 41 can be easily stacked when transporting the plurality of first drawer sections 41. Since the plurality of first drawer sections 41 can be made common, when installing the plurality of first drawer sections 41, a worker can install any of the first drawer sections 41 in a portion in which the first drawer section 41 is stored. This can reduce the effort required for a worker to determine which drawer section 40 is stored in which position of the storage section 70, thereby further improving the ease of installation of the kitchen unit 100. Since the plurality of first drawer sections 41 can be made common, the parts constituting each first drawer section 41 can be made common, and the number of types of parts constituting the kitchen unit 100 can be reduced.

[0073] The first drawer section 41 is transported to the construction site in a state in which the drawer main body section 41a and the mirror panel section 41b are disassembled. In the multiple first drawer sections 41, the drawer main body section 41a and the mirror panel section 41b are each common, so that each part can be easily packed together. The drawer main body section 41a can be easily stacked and packed into a small package. When installing the multiple first drawer sections 41, the worker does not need to determine which drawer main body section 41a is to be installed in which of the locations where the first drawer section 41 is to be installed. When attaching the mirror panel section 41b to the installed drawer main body section 41a, the worker does not need to determine which mirror panel section 41b is to be attached to which drawer main body section 41a. The worker can install the multiple first drawer sections 41 more easily.

[0074] The inside of the storage section 70 in which the drawer section 40 is stored is open downward. In other words, the storage section 70 in which the drawer section 40 is stored does not have a bottom wall portion located below. Since the storage section 70 in which the drawer section 40 is stored does not have a bottom wall portion, the worker can easily step in close to the wall surface WS when installing the kitchen unit 100. The worker can install the kitchen unit 100 more easily. Since the storage section 70 in which the drawer section 40 is stored does not have a bottom wall portion, the storage section 70 is unlikely to be an obstacle to the piping connected to the kitchen unit 100, regardless of where the piping comes out of the floor surface FS. The worker can easily connect the kitchen unit 100 to the piping. The piping connected to the kitchen unit 100 is, for example, a water pipe. Since the storage section 70 in which the drawer section 40 is stored does not have a bottom wall portion, the number of parts constituting the kitchen unit 100 can be reduced. Since the number of parts can be reduced, kitchen unit 100 can be made lighter, and the parts constituting kitchen unit 100 can be packed together in a smaller size.

[0075] The first mounting member 23 has a first fixing portion 23a fixed to the side wall main body portion 21 and a second fixing portion 23b fixed to the support portion 10. Since the second fixing portion 23b is provided on the first mounting member 23 provided with the engaging portion 23h, the position of the second fixing portion 23b is unlikely to shift when the engaging portion 23h is engaged with the support portion 10, and the worker can easily fix the second fixing portion 23b to the support portion 10.

[0076] The second fixing portion 23b is fixed to the support portion 10 by a screw member 82, which passes through the second fixing portion 23b and the support portion 10 and is fastened to the wall surface WS. By fastening the screw member 82 to the wall surface WS, the worker can more firmly fix the second fixing portion 23b to the support portion 10 and more firmly fix the side wall member 20 to the support portion 10. By being able to more firmly fix the side wall member 20 to the support portion 10, the load-bearing capacity of the kitchen unit 100 can be suitably improved.

[0077] Each of the multiple side wall members 20 has a second mounting member 24 fixed to the side wall main body portion 21. The second mounting member 24 has a third fixing portion 24a fixed to the side wall main body portion 21 and a fourth fixing portion 24b fixed to the top wall member 30. An operator can easily and firmly fix the side wall member 20 and the top wall member 30 via the second mounting member 24.

[0078] The first mounting member 23 and the second mounting member 24 are fixed to the surface of the sidewall main body 21 facing the same side in the left-right direction Y. The dimension of the sidewall member 20 in the left-right direction Y can be made smaller than when the first mounting member 23 and the second mounting member 24 are fixed to different surfaces of the sidewall main body 21 in the left-right direction Y. When multiple sidewall members 20 are stacked and packed, the worker can pack the multiple sidewall members 20 in a more suitable small size. Since the parts required for installing the kitchen unit 100 can be packed in a smaller size, it is easier to increase the number of kitchen units 100 that can be loaded onto a transportation truck at one time. In the kitchen unit 100 of this embodiment, the first mounting member 23, the second mounting member 24, and the rail member 22 are fixed to the surface of the sidewall main body 21 facing the same side in the left-right direction Y, the worker can pack the multiple sidewall members 20 in a more suitable small size.

[0079] The support part 10 has a first protrusion 12, and the engagement part 23h has a first hole part 23g into which the first protrusion part 12 is inserted. An operator can easily and stably engage the side wall member 20 with the support part 10 by inserting the first protrusion part 12 into the first hole part 23g.

[0080] The sidewall member 20 has a second protruding portion 25 protruding in the vertical direction Z, and the top wall member 30 has a second hole portion 31c into which the second protruding portion 25 is inserted. By inserting the second protruding portion 25 into the second hole portion 31c, the worker can easily position the sidewall member 20 in the left-right direction Y, and can easily prevent the sidewall member 20 from shifting in the left-right direction Y. The worker can easily position the multiple sidewall members 20 by arranging the top wall member 30 above the multiple sidewall members 20. In this embodiment, the worker can easily and suitably arrange the sidewall members 20 at a right angle to the support portion 10 by arranging the top wall member 30 above the multiple sidewall members 20.

[0081] A plurality of storage sections 70 are provided side by side in the left-right direction Y. The plurality of side wall members 20 include side wall members 20 that separate the interiors of the storage sections 70 adjacent to each other in the left-right direction Y, i.e., the third side wall member 20c and the fourth side wall member 20d. Conventionally, when pre-assembled storage sections are assembled, two side wall members constituting each storage section are arranged between the adjacent storage sections in a stacked manner. According to the kitchen unit 100, one side wall member 20 is used as a wall member that separates the interiors of the storage sections 70 adjacent to each other in the left-right direction Y, so that the number of walls located between the storage sections 70 can be reduced to one. The number of parts constituting the kitchen unit 100 can be reduced, and the structure of the kitchen unit 100 can be simplified. The worker can assemble the kitchen unit 100 more easily.

[0082] The side wall members 20 include a pair of side wall members 20, i.e., a first side wall member 20a and a second side wall member 20b, which respectively form portions of the outer wall of the kitchen unit main body 100a located on both sides in the left-right direction Y. Conventionally, when assembling storage sections in a pre-assembled state, it was necessary to provide a decorative panel or the like that constitutes the outer wall separately from the storage section. According to the kitchen unit 100, the first side wall member 20a and the second side wall member 20b that constitute a part of the storage section 70 can also be used as design members that constitute the outer wall of the kitchen unit main body 100a. Since there is no need to provide a separate member for forming the outer wall other than the first side wall member 20a and the second side wall member 20b, the number of parts of the kitchen unit 100 can be reduced.

[0083] The support portion 10 has a first extension member 10a and a second extension member 10b extending in the left-right direction Y. The first extension member 10a and the second extension member 10b are arranged at an interval from each other in the vertical direction Z. Each of the multiple sidewall members 20 has an engagement portion 23h of one of the first mounting members 23 that is engaged with the first extension member 10a from above, and an engagement portion 23h of the other of the first mounting members 23 that is engaged with the second extension member 10b from above. Since the multiple engagement portions 23h can be engaged with the support portion 10, each sidewall member 20 can be temporarily fixed to the support portion 10 more stably. By fixing two first mounting members 23 provided with each engagement portion 23h to each extension member as in this embodiment, each sidewall member 20 can be permanently fixed to the support portion 10 more firmly. By having the support part 10 have the first extension member 10a and the second extension member 10b spaced apart from each other in the vertical direction Z, the volume of the support part 10 can be made smaller than when the support part 10 is a member such as a back plate that covers the entire interior of each storage part 70 from the rear side (-X side). Workers can easily pack the support part 10 in a small size, and the parts required to install the kitchen unit 100 can be packed in a smaller size.

[0084] No sealing member such as a packing is provided in the kitchen unit 100. Since a worker does not need to attach a sealing member during construction, the kitchen unit 100 is easier to assemble.

[0085] In this embodiment, the furniture is a kitchen unit 100. The kitchen unit 100 tends to require more labor hours for construction than other furniture. The effect of improving the ease of construction described above is particularly useful when the furniture is the kitchen unit 100.

[0086] The construction method of the kitchen unit 100 is a construction method for a kitchen unit 100 comprising a kitchen unit main body 100a having a storage section 70, and includes the steps of fixing a support portion 10 to a wall surface WS, engaging a plurality of side wall members 20 arranged at intervals in a left-right direction Y intersecting with a vertical direction Z with the support portion 10 in a state spaced upward from a floor surface FS by engaging engagement portions 23h provided on each of the plurality of side wall members 20 with the support portion 10 from above, fixing the plurality of side wall members 20 to the support portion 10, disposing a top wall member 30 above the plurality of side wall members 20, and attaching the kitchen unit main body 100a, in which a portion of the storage section 70 located in the left-right direction Y is formed by the side wall members 20 and a portion of the storage section 70 located upward by the top wall member 30, to the wall surface WS in a state spaced upward from the floor surface FS. As described above, the worker can temporarily fix the multiple side wall members 20 to the support portion 10 by engaging the engaging portions 23h with the support portion 10 from above, making it easier to assemble the kitchen unit 100. According to the installation method for the kitchen unit 100, the ease of installation of the kitchen unit 100 can be improved.

[0087] The installation method of the kitchen unit 100 includes, when fixing a plurality of sidewall members 20 to the support portion 10, passing a screw member 82 through the first mounting member 23, which is fixed to the sidewall main body portion 21 of the sidewall member 20 and has an engagement portion 23h, and through the support portion 10, and tightening the screw member 82 into the wall surface WS. By tightening the screw member 82 into the wall surface WS, the worker can firmly fix the sidewall member 20 to the support portion 10, and the load-bearing capacity of the kitchen unit 100 can be suitably improved.

[0088] The installation method of the kitchen unit 100 includes inserting the first protrusion 12 provided on the support portion 10 into the first hole portion 23g provided in the engagement portion 23h when engaging the multiple sidewall members 20 with the support portion 10. By inserting the first protrusion 12 into the first hole portion 23g, the worker can easily engage the multiple sidewall members 20 with the support portion 10.

[0089] The installation method of the kitchen unit 100 includes, when placing the top wall member 30 above the multiple side wall members 20, inserting the second protrusion 25 provided on the side wall member 20 into the second hole portion 31c provided in the top wall member 30. When placing the top wall member 30, a worker can easily position the multiple side wall members 20 in the left-right direction Y by inserting the second protrusion 25 into the second hole portion 31c.
