Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a panel that can improve the overall design, and to a toilet booth that uses the panel. [Background technology]

[0002] Panels for constructing toilet booths generally use melamine resin decorative boards as the surface material of the flush panels (for example, Patent Document 1).

[0003] Furthermore, in order to improve the design of such panels, it has been proposed to paint the edges with urethane enamel paint (Patent Document 2) or to expose the laminated surface of LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) on the edges (Patent Document 3). [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]

[0004] [Patent Document 1] JP 2021-165483 A [Patent Document 2] Utility Model Registration No. 3156585 [Patent Document 3] Utility Model Registration No. 3219050 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0005] With this conventional technology, the surface material of melamine resin decorative boards is available in a wide variety of designs, but because it is a printed material, there are limitations to the expression of texture. Furthermore, even if only the edges are painted or LVL is used, it is difficult to overcome the impression given by the surface material, which takes up the majority of the visual sense, and there is a problem that there is room for further improvement in terms of the overall design.

[0006] In view of the problems with the prior art, the object of the present invention is to provide a panel that uses OSB (Oriented Strand Board) for the surface material and edges, thereby unifying the visual appearance to that of actual wood, achieving a superior sense of unity and improving the overall design, and a toilet booth that uses the panel. [Means for solving the problem]

[0007] In order to achieve this purpose, the configuration of the invention of claim 1 of this application comprises top, bottom, left and right LVL frame materials, a paper honeycomb core material that is placed inside the frame materials, an OSB edge material that is attached to the outer surface of at least one of the left and right frame materials, and an OSB surface material that is adhered to both sides of the frame materials, core material and edge material, with the gist being that the edge material is made by stacking board materials of the same specifications as the surface material and arranging them at right angles to the surface material, and together with the surface material, forming a specified edge surface.

[0008] In addition, the surface material and the end material can each protrude above the upper frame material, forming an upward mounting groove above the upper frame material, and the lower frame material can form a downward installation groove on its underside.

[0009] The invention of claim 4 is configured to comprise top, bottom, left and right LVL frame materials, a paper honeycomb core material that is placed inside the frame materials, OSB edge materials attached to the outer sides of the left and right frame materials, and OSB surface materials that are adhered to both sides of the frame materials, core material and edge materials, with the gist being that the edge materials are made by stacking board materials of the same specifications as the surface materials and arranging them at right angles to the surface materials, and together with the surface materials, they form a specified edge surface.

[0010] The gist of the invention of claim 5 is that the panel of any of claims 1 to 3 is a sleeve panel, the panel of claim 4 is a door panel, and both sides of the partition panel for private rooms are made of OSB as a surface material.

[0011] In addition, the outer surfaces of the OSB of the sleeve panels, door panels, and partition panels can be finished with a clear polyurethane paint. Effect of the Invention

[0012] In accordance with the configuration of the invention of claim 1, the OSB edge material is made by laminating board materials of the same specifications as the OSB surface material and forming it on a specified edge surface together with the surface material, thereby realizing the texture of real wood integrated with the surface material for the entire visual appearance, and significantly improving the overall design. Note that when the OSB edge material is attached to only one of the left and right frame materials, the frame material to which the edge material is not attached is connected to, for example, the wall surface of a building or the surface of another panel, and in this case, it is preferable to take care to conceal the members other than the OSB or to expose only a small part of them to the outside.

[0013] The mounting grooves formed above the upper framing material by the facing and end pieces can be used, for example, to accommodate ceiling rails and secure the upper ends of the panels to the ceiling surface of a building; both ends of the mounting grooves are closed by the end pieces, so there is no risk of the overall appearance of the OSB being marred.

[0014] The installation grooves on the underside of the lower frame are used, for example, to accommodate an adjuster for adjusting the height above the floor surface and to install the bottom edge of the panel on the floor surface together with an appropriate baseboard. Both ends of the installation groove can also be neatly closed by using end pieces.

[0015] When the invention of claim 4 is adopted, the OSB edge material attached to each of the left and right frame materials, together with the OSB surface material, can achieve the same effect as the invention of claim 1.

[0016] When the configuration of the invention of claim 5 is adopted, the visual appearance of the entire sleeve panel, door panel, and partition panel can be unified to the texture of real wood using OSB, ensuring the realization of a good design with a strong sense of unity as a whole.

[0017] Furthermore, the clear polyurethane paint finish improves the necessary water resistance and surface strength without compromising the appearance or texture of the OSB of each panel. [Brief description of the drawings]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0019] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

[0020] The toilet booth is equipped with side panels 11, 12, 13, door panels 14, 15, and partition panels 16, 16 (Fig. 1, Fig. 2). However, the toilet booth is equipped with a screen panel 17 for shielding. Fig. 2(A) and (B) are elevation views corresponding to the X and Y arrows in Fig. 1, respectively.

[0021] The toilet booths are formed by using the right-angled walls W of the building to form private rooms R, R via partition panels 16, 16, and the front sides of the private rooms R, R are equipped with inward-opening and outward-opening door panels 14, 15, as well as side panels 11, 12, 13. In addition, a screen panel 17 is erected parallel to the partition panels 16, 16.

[0022] The sleeve panels 11, 12, 13 and the screen panel 17 are erected between the floor surface F and the ceiling surface C of the building via baseboards 21 and ceiling rails 22, respectively, and the same is true for each partition panel 16. The door panels 14, 15 are formed shorter in the vertical direction than the sleeve panels 11, 12, 13, and large and small gaps are formed between the upper and lower ends of the door panels 14, 15 and the ceiling surface C and the floor surface F, respectively. One end of each of the sleeve panel 13, each partition panel 16, and the screen panel 17 is connected to the wall surface W via a connecting rail 23, and the other ends of the partition panels 16, 16 are connected to the surfaces of the sleeve panels 11, 12, respectively, via connecting members not shown.

[0023] The door panels 14, 15 are supported for horizontal rotation via upper and lower pivot hinges 24a, 24b, respectively. The door panels 14, 15 are each provided with a handle 25a on the exterior side and a slide bolt 25b on the interior side. A locking catch 25c is fixed to the sleeve panel 11 or 13 in front of each slide bolt 25b.

[0024] The sleeve panels 11, 12, 13, the door panels 14, 15, the partition panels 16, 16, and the screen panel 17 basically have a common flush panel structure. The structure of panel 30 of the sleeve panel 11 between the door panels 14, 15 is, for example, as shown in Figure 3. However, Figure 3(A) is a partially cutaway schematic front view, and Figures 3(B) and (C) are, respectively, a vertical cross-sectional view and a horizontal cross-sectional view of Figure 3(A).

[0025] The panel 30 is composed of top, bottom, left and right LVL frame materials 31, 31, 32, 32, a paper honeycomb core material 33, OSB end materials 34, 34 on the outer faces of the left and right frame materials 32, 32, and OSB surface materials 35, 35 on both sides. The core material 33 is placed inside the frame materials 31, 31, 32, 32, and the surface materials 35, 35 are adhered to both sides of the frame materials 31, 31, 32, 32, the core material 33 and the end materials 34, 34.

[0026] The end members 34, 34 and the surface members 35, 35 each protrude above the upper frame member 31, and an upward mounting groove 36a is formed above the upper frame member 31. A downward installation groove 36b is formed in the underside of the lower frame member 31, and both ends of the mounting groove 36a and the installation groove 36b are closed via the upper and lower ends of the end members 34, 34, respectively. The mounting groove 36a accommodates the ceiling rail 22 (FIG. 2), and the installation groove 36b accommodates an adjuster member (not shown) that is to be combined with the baseboard 21.

[0027] The outer surface of each end material 34, together with the edge of the surface materials 35, 35, is formed into end surfaces 37a, 37b of a predetermined cross-sectional shape (Figs. 1 and 3(C)). That is, end surface 37a facing the door end of inward-opening door panel 14 is formed into an asymmetric cross-sectional shape in which the inside of private room R is straight and the outside is a smooth concave semicircular arc, with the outside side being higher than the inside, and end surface 37b facing the hanging side of door panel 15 is formed into a symmetrical cross-sectional shape of a smooth concave arc.

[0028] Each end material 34 is constructed by stacking multiple OSB boards 34a, 34a... on the outer surface side of the left or right frame material 32 (Fig. 4). Fig. 4(A) is a partially cutaway schematic front view of the panel 30 before end faces 37a, 37b are formed on the outer surface side of the end materials 34, 34, and Figs. 4(B)-(D) are a left side view, a vertical cross-sectional view, and a top view of Fig. 4(A), respectively. The boards 34a, 34a... are of the same specifications as the OSB surface material 35, and are cut to the same width as the expected dimensions of each frame material 31, 32, and then stacked at right angles to the surface materials 35, 35.

[0029] The end faces 37a, 37b can be formed in one go by cutting the outer surface of the end material 34 using dedicated milling cutters F1, F2, respectively (Figs. 5(B) and (C)). However, Fig. 5(A) is an enlarged cross-sectional view of the essential part of Fig. 4(A) showing the end portion of the panel 30 before cutting, and Figs. 5(B) and (C) are respectively diagrams showing the cutting process of the end faces 37a, 37b. Note that the number of laminated sheets and the number of cut sheets of the plate materials 34a, 34a... of the end material 34 do not necessarily have to be as shown in Figs. 4 and 5, and can be changed as appropriate.

[0030] The structure of the panel 30 of the door panels 14, 15 is, for example, as shown in Figure 6. The panel 30 of Figure 6 differs from the panel 30 of the sleeve panel 11 of Figure 3 in that it does not have upper and lower mounting grooves 36a and installation grooves 36b, and that the end surface 37c on the outer surface side of each end material 34 has a symmetrical smooth convex arc-shaped cross section, but is otherwise configured in the same way. The end surface 37c can also be machined in accordance with Figure 5. However, Figures 6(A) to (C) are equivalent to Figures 3(A) to (C), respectively.

[0031] The side of the sleeve panel 12 facing the hinged side of the door panel 14 is formed as a symmetrical end surface 37b (Fig. 1, Fig. 7(A)), and the other side connecting the partition panel 16 at a right angle is formed as a straight end surface 37d (Fig. 1, Fig. 7(C)). However, the end surface 37d is asymmetrical, with the side that contacts the partition panel 16 being at a right angle and the opposite side being rounded and chamfered. The side of the sleeve panel 13 facing the door end side of the door panel 15 is formed as an asymmetric end surface 37a (Fig. 1, Fig. 7(B)), and the opposite side that connects to the wall surface W does not have an end material 34, and a mounting groove 38b that accommodates the connecting rail 23 is formed on the outer surface of the frame material 32 (Fig. 1, Fig. 7(F)). The end surface 37a of the sleeve panel 13 is lower on the outside of the private room R and higher on the inside in order to accommodate the outward-opening door panel 15.

[0032] Each partition panel 16 and screen panel 17 does not have an end member 34 on the side that connects to the wall surface W, and a mounting groove 38b for the connecting rail 23 is formed on the outer surface of the frame material 32 (Fig. 1, Fig. 7(F)). Similarly, each partition panel 16 does not have an end member 34 on the side that connects to the surfaces of the sleeve panels 11, 12, and a mounting groove 38a for a connecting member (not shown) is formed on the outer surface of the frame material 32 (Fig. 1, Fig. 7(E)). Meanwhile, the open end of the screen panel 17 is formed, via the end member 34 and the surface members 35, 35, into a symmetrical linear end surface 37e with both ends rounded (Fig. 1, Fig. 7(D)).

[0033] Therefore, the left and right small end members 34, 34 are provided on both the side panels 11, 12 and the door panels 14, 15, but the side panels 13 and the screen panels 17 are omitted on one side on the wall surface W side, and both are omitted on the partition panels 16, 16. On the other hand, the side panels 11, 12, 13, the door panels 14, 15, the partition panels 16, and the screen panels 17 have all surfaces visible from the outside made of OSB, and the outer surfaces of these OSB are clear-painted with polyurethane paint. Therefore, the entire exterior of the toilet booth, except for the wall surfaces W, W of the building, is made of real wood made of OSB, and a good texture can be unified.

[0034] In the above explanation, the toilet booth may have any number of private rooms R, from 1 to 2 or more, and the door panels 14, 15 may be either inward opening or outward opening, or a suitable mixture of both. Also, the toilet booth may be installed along a straight part of the wall W, instead of the curved part of the wall W of the building, and the screen panel 17 may be omitted, or two or more may be appropriately arranged.

[0035] In addition, in the case of an emergency such as a user in the private room R falling down, the inward-opening door panel 14 may incorporate a movable shielding device 27 in a vertical groove 37c1 provided on the end surface 37c on the door end side (Fig. 8). The end surface 37c with the vertical groove 37c1 can also be machined in accordance with Fig. 5. However, Figs. 8(A) and (B) are respectively an enlarged schematic cross-sectional view of the main part and an enlarged cross-sectional view of the main part of the door panel 14 excluding the shielding device 27.

[0036] When the door panel 14 is normally closed, the cover material 27a of the shielding device 27 protrudes toward the side panel 11 to shield the gap g from view, while when the emergency unlocking mechanism in the handle 25a retracts the slide bolt 25b to the emergency unlocking position (chain line in Fig. 8(A)) from the outside of the room to open the door panel 14 to the outside, the cover material 27a sinks toward the base material 27b in the vertical groove 37c1 against the leaf spring 27c, allowing the door panel 14 to open outward (see Patent Publication No. 7204839). However, the slide bolt 25b can be switched from the inside of the room to a locked position (chain line in Fig. 8(A)) or an unlocked position (solid line) with respect to the front catch 25c, and in the unlocked position, it serves as a door stop when the door panel 14 is closed.

[0037] A decorative sticker that faithfully represents the OSB of each surface material 35 and edge material 34 is affixed to the outer surface of the cover material 27a of the shielding device 27, thereby ensuring a sense of unity with the surface materials 35, 35 and edge material 34. [Industrial Applicability]

[0038] This invention can unify the visible surface of each panel to have the appearance of real wood using OSB, achieving a good texture with an excellent sense of unity, and can be widely and suitably applied to toilet booths installed in any building. [Explanation of symbols]
