Abstract
Description
[Technical field]

[Background technology]
[0002] Air cooling devices using a container containing a cooling material are commonly used, and some of these devices are portable and are designed to provide a refreshing feeling to the user by directing the cooled air at the user's body.
[0003] In such a device, the air flow introduced into the device is directed in only one direction, so there is not enough time for cooling, and the air moving inside the device is not sufficiently isolated from the outside of the device, so there are problems with inefficient cooling of the air. In addition, the cooled air dissipates instantly after being discharged outside the device, so there are also problems with it not being fully utilized to cool the user's body. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0025] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present disclosure will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0026] FIG. 1 is a side view for explaining one embodiment of an air cooling device 10 according to the present disclosure. The main body member 11 of this air cooling device is mainly formed by combining a pair of upper and lower members 12a and 12b by fitting the provided fitting parts 13a and 13b. A cooling member 15 (a plastic bottle filled with a liquid below a predetermined temperature in the embodiment shown in FIG. 1) is stored so as to conform to the inner shape of the main body member 11. Air taken in from the outside of the main body member 11 through at least one air inlet hole 1 provided on the surface of the main body member 11 is cooled by contacting this cooling member, and then discharged to the outside from an air exhaust hole 2 also provided on the surface of the main body member 11. The air exhaust hole 2 may be provided with an exhaust hole cover 2a as necessary. The main body member 11 may further be provided with a control unit 12c, in which a sending unit 50 is provided for facilitating the movement of air inside the main body member 11 to the air exhaust hole 2. Inside this unit, there are provided a fan 52 for moving air, and a motor 51 for driving the fan to rotate.
[0027] Furthermore, a battery 55 is built in as a power source for operating the motor 51, but as a power source, a solar cell may be used and attached to the outer surface of the main body in consideration of space and weight. In addition, such motor 51 and fan 52 may be provided, for example, at the vertical upper part of the cooling member 15, as described later, so that their rotation axes coincide with the central axis of the cooling member 15. By adopting such a configuration, it is possible to further save space and simplify the shape of the entire main body. In FIG. 1, the fan 52 is provided on the upper side of the main body member 11, but the fan may be provided anywhere as long as it can secure a long air flow path and can sufficiently cool the air, and in the case of FIG. 1, the fan may be provided in the space above the cooling member 15.
[0028] Fig. 2 is a side view showing one embodiment of the air cooling device of Fig. 1 in use. As described above, the upper member 12a and the lower member 12b are joined together by fitting the fitting parts 13a and 13b to form the main body member 11. Then, the air that flows into the device from the air inlet hole 1 moves around the cooling member 15 by the fan 52 and is guided to the vicinity of the air exhaust hole 2. The air exhaust hole 2 is provided with an exhaust hole cover 2a that can be opened and closed around a rotating shaft 2b, whereby the cooled air is discharged outside the main body member 11 and hits a desired part of the user, allowing the user to feel refreshed by the cooled air.
[0029] Fig. 3 is a side view showing yet another embodiment of the air cooling device in Fig. 1 in use. The cooled air discharged from the main body member 11 of the air cooling device may dissipate instantly if it is discharged from the air discharge hole 2, and may not be sufficiently directed at the desired part of the user. For this reason, in the embodiment shown in Fig. 3, an air guide member 30 is used to guide the cooled air discharged to the outside from the air discharge hole 2 to a desired location near the user without unnecessary dissipation outside the main body member 11. This air guide member 30 is composed of 1) a diffusion nozzle 32 that is inserted into the open air discharge hole 2 to guide the air to the outside of the main body member 11, and 2) a neck hose 31 that is further connected to the diffusion nozzle 32 and configured to guide the air to the desired location.
[0030] 3A is a diagram showing a schematic shape of the neck hose 31. The neck hose 31 is configured in a hose shape so that the cooled air flows inside it, and is made of a flexible material so that it can be freely shaped, for example, annular, and can guide the air to a desired position outside the main body member 11. As described later, an adjustment member 35 may be used so that the shape, for example the diameter when made into an annular shape, can be freely changed. In addition, a plurality of openings 31a are provided so that the cooled air can be discharged to the outside.
[0031] 3B is a diagram showing a schematic shape of the diffusion nozzle 32. As shown in the figure, one end is inserted into the air discharge hole 2, and it functions as a connector that connects between the neck hose 31 and the main body member 11. As shown in the figure, a hollow spherical connection member 32a is used to allow air to pass through, and the direction in which the air is discharged can be freely set.
[0032] FIG. 4 is a side view showing another embodiment of the air cooling device of FIG. 1, FIG. 4A is a plan view of this air cooling device from vertically above, and FIG. 4B is an enlarged partial side view showing the state when the upper and lower members of this air cooling device are opened.
[0033] 4 and 4A, the air cooling device in this embodiment has a cooling layer 120 concentrically surrounding the periphery of the cooling member 15 (a plastic bottle containing liquid in the embodiment shown in FIG. 4) housed in the lower member 12b of the main body portion 11, and a heat insulating layer 110 is further arranged concentrically around the periphery. With this configuration, it is possible to prevent the cooling member 15 filled with liquid below a predetermined temperature and the air introduced into the main body member 11 from the air inlet hole 1 from rising unnecessarily due to the outside temperature.
[0034] As shown in Fig. 4, the air introduced into the main body from the air inlet 1 is pressed by further introduced air, and moves vertically downward along the central axis of the cooling member 15. Then, through the through-hole 125 provided in the wall surface constituting the cooling layer 120, the air moves further upward inside the cooling layer 120 as indicated by the arrow a, is cooled by the temperature of the liquid in the cooling member 15, and is then discharged to the outside of the main body member 11 through the air outlet 2, that is, moves to the outside of the closed system formed by the main body member 11. In the embodiment of Fig. 4, the air that has moved to the outside of the closed system is guided to a desired position of the user by the air outlet member 30.
[0035] As shown in Fig. 4, the air inlet 1 and the air outlet 2, through which air enters and exits the closed system, are located at approximately the same height in the vertical direction of the entire main body member 11. With this configuration, the air that has flowed into the main body moves along the axial direction of the entire cooling member 15 over a sufficient period of time, and is therefore efficiently cooled.
[0036] As shown in FIG. 4, the blowing mechanism 50, which is composed of a fan 52 for blowing air from inside the main body to the air exhaust hole 2 and a motor 51 for rotating the fan, is disposed above the cooling member 15, i.e., along the inner surface of the upper member 12a of the main body member 11, along the central axis of the cooling member 15. By disposing the blowing mechanism 50 in this manner, it is possible to store the blowing mechanism 50 in addition to the cooling member 15, without the need to provide a special storage space for the blowing mechanism 50, simply by increasing the axial length of the main body member 11. This also simplifies the overall external shape of the main body member 11. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 4, a battery (not shown) for operating the motor 51 can be disposed by utilizing the space near the motor 51.
[0037] 1 to 3, in this embodiment, the upper member 12a and the lower member 12b are not fitted to each other at their inner surfaces, but are configured so that the upper member 12a is released from the lower member 12b around a rotation axis 12d that rotates in the direction of the arrow X, as shown in Fig. 4B. Through the opening configured in this way, the cooling member 15 is stored in or removed from the lower member 12b, as shown by the arrow A.
[0038] Furthermore, a hook member 12e is provided on the upper member 12a on the opposite side of the pivot shaft 12d, and a hook fitting portion 12f that fits with the hook member 12e is provided on the lower member 12b to prevent the two members from being separated unnecessarily. In this way, the upper and lower members 12a and 12b can be opened and closed easily and reliably.
[0039] Fig. 5 is a side view showing yet another embodiment of the air cooling device of Fig. 1, and Fig. 5A is a plan view of the air cooling device of Fig. 5 from above in the vertical direction. In the embodiment of Fig. 5, an internal blocking wall 115 is further provided inside the main body member 11. As shown in the figure, this internal blocking wall 115 blocks the air that has flowed into the main body member 11 of the air cooling device from the air inlet hole 1, from the space in which the cooling member 15 (in the embodiment shown in Fig. 5, a PET bottle containing liquid) is stored. Furthermore, a plurality of induction holes 116 are provided in the lower part of this blocking wall 115 in the vertical direction. The air that has flowed in is guided through this induction hole 116 to the space in which the cooling member 15 is located.
[0040] In an air cooling device configured in this manner, air that flows into the inside of the main body member 11 from the air inlet hole 1 first moves vertically downward along the arrow b within the insulating layer 110. The inside of the insulating layer 110 is insulated from the external environment, and the cooling member 15 is located inside the internal blocking wall 115, and the air that flows in passes through a region adjacent to the cooling member 15, so that the air that moves to the bottom of the main body member is cooled before reaching it.
[0041] The air cooled in the heat insulating layer 110 is guided from the guide hole 116 provided in the inner blocking wall 115 to the space in which the cooling member 15 is housed, and while directly contacting the surface of the cooling member 15 in the space, it is further cooled and moves along the cooling member 15 to the upper side of the main body member 11 as shown by the arrow c. Then, the air in the main body member 11 is discharged to the outside from the air discharge hole 2 via the sending mechanism 50 that functions to move the air in the main body member 11 out of the closed system. That is, the air introduced into the inside from the air introduction hole 1 is efficiently cooled twice, 1) by moving downward in the heat insulating layer 110, and 2) by moving upward along the surface of the cooling member 15. In this embodiment, the upper member 12a and the lower member 12b are configured to open or close with the rotation of the rotation shaft 12d.
[0042] 5A is a plan view of the air cooling device 10 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure shown in FIG. 5, seen from above in the vertical direction. The upper surface of the upper member 12a may be provided with an indicator indicating the operating state of the device, since it is easily visible to the user. In FIG. 5A, motor rotation indicators 511, 512, and 513 (LEDs in FIG. 5A) are provided to indicate the number of rotations of the motor 51 in three stages. Note that such indicators may be appropriately switched to display other contents. For example, they may be made to indicate the charging state of the built-in battery.
[0043] FIG. 5B is a side view showing another embodiment of the air cooling device 10 according to the present disclosure of the embodiment shown in FIG. 5. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 5, as described above, the air flowing into the main body 11 from the air inlet hole 1 moves downward along the arrow b, and is further guided to the storage space of the cooling member 15 through the guide hole 116 provided below the inner blocking wall 115. Then, the air moves upward along the arrow c while touching the side of the cooling member 15, and is discharged to the outside of the device. That is, the air moves approximately once back and forth in the vertical direction over the entire side of the PET bottle filled with the cooled beverage. This allows the air flowing in from the outside of the device to be cooled for a sufficient period of time.
[0044] Furthermore, in the embodiment shown in FIG. 5B, the entire air cooling device 10 shown in FIG. 5 is covered with the ice pack case 11a. On the inner surface of the ice pack case 11a, ice packs 11b of a predetermined shape, for example, using SAP (Super Absorbent Polymer) as a refrigerant, are provided at a plurality of locations along the vertical direction. The ice packs 11b may be arranged in any manner, for example, in six or eight divided locations in the circumferential direction. An outside air introduction hole 117 for taking in outside air is provided at any position on the outer surface of the ice pack case 11a. With this configuration, the air taken in from the outside air introduction hole 117 is cooled by the ice packs 11b while moving between the main body member 11 and the ice pack case 11a as shown by the arrow x, and then moves from the air inlet hole 1 to the main body member 11 of the air cooling device 10. The subsequent movement of the air is the same as that shown in FIG. 5. That is, the air that flows into the main body member 11 through the air inlet hole 1 moves vertically downward along the arrow b. At this time, it is cooled by both the cold insulation material 11b and the liquid filled in the PET bottle, which is the cooling member. Then, it moves to the storage space of the cooling member 15 through the induction hole 116, and then moves along the arrow c, where it is further cooled on the surface of the cooling member 15, and is discharged to the outside of the main body member 11 through the air discharge hole 2.
[0045] In the embodiment shown in FIG. 5B, the air flowing in from the outside is cooled while moving back and forth over the vertical length of the plastic bottle, and more efficient cooling is possible compared to the embodiment shown in FIG. 5. For more efficient cooling, it is desirable to provide the outside air introduction hole 117 as far away as possible from the air inlet hole 1 in the vertical direction, and in the embodiment shown in FIG. 5B, it is provided at the lower part in the vertical direction. The shape of the outside air introduction hole 117 may be any shape as long as it can introduce air, but it may be made mesh-like, for example, in order to introduce air over a wide area. Here, FIG. 5C is a partially enlarged view of part A in FIG. 5B to more clearly show the relationship between the movement of air and each component.
[0046] The ice pack case 11a may have any shape or material as long as it covers the entire air cooling device 10 as described above, that is, stores the ice pack 11b on its inner surface. For example, it may be a bag-shaped case using cloth, or may be a cylindrical case made of resin, and may be selected taking into consideration portability and weight. Fig. 5D is a conceptual diagram showing a state in which the air cooling device 10 is covered by the ice pack case 11a. In this figure, the air cooling device 10 is not entirely covered, but it is also possible to cover the entire device and configure the diffusion nozzle 32 to protrude from the ice pack case 11a.
[0047] Also, as shown in Fig. 5D, a pocket-like portion 11c may be provided on the outer surface of the ice pack case 11a to store accessories, external devices, etc. In particular, if an external battery 11d is stored and connected to the air blowing mechanism 50, it is possible to extend the time that the fan 52 rotates, and as a result, the usable time as an air cooling device can be extended. In the configuration shown in Fig. 5D, as described above, the outside air introduction hole 117 is provided in a porous shape, but a predetermined lower region of the ice pack case 11a may be made in a mesh shape.
[0048] FIG. 5E is a partial cross-sectional view showing the use of an air sealing member 118 applicable to the air cooling device shown in FIG. 5B. In the device shown in FIG. 5B, the air taken in from the outside moves approximately one and a half times the outer dimension of the cooling member 15 in the vertical direction. For this reason, it is desirable to prevent the air from leaking out unnecessarily during the movement or from staying unnecessarily in the device as much as possible. For this reason, it is considered to provide an air sealing member 118 before the taken-in air rises in the direction of the arrow x and reaches the air inlet hole 1, so that the rising air passes through the air inlet hole 1 quickly and efficiently. The material and shape of this air sealing member 118 are arbitrary as long as they can achieve such a purpose.
[0049] FIG. 6 is a side view showing yet another embodiment of the air cooling device shown in FIG. 1, and FIG. 6A is a plan view from the vertical top. In this embodiment, a cold storage material containing a refrigerant in a blow molded container is used as the cooling member 16 for cooling the air that flows into the device body 100 from the air inlet hole 1. The cooling member 16 is also stored in the lower part of the body 100, and cools the air that flows in from the air inlet hole 1 and is sent out as shown by the arrow c and moves toward the air outlet hole 2. The cooling member in this disclosure is not limited to a cold pack, and may be, for example, ice or the like placed in a moisture-impermeable bag or the like for easy use. By configuring in this way, the amount and weight of the cooling material are reduced, and the device can be made smaller. The external dimensions and the amount of the cooling material can be set according to the specifications of the entire device. In this embodiment, the upper member 12a and the lower member 12b are provided on their respective inner surfaces and are connected by fitting parts 13a and 13b that can be fitted to each other.
[0050] 7 and 8 are diagrams showing a state in which a user actually uses the air cooling device according to the present disclosure. As shown in these figures, the air cooling device 10 is connected to a string member 36, which is wrapped around a part of the user's body, in this case the neck, and held in place. In the case of FIG. 7, the exhaust hole cover 2a is in an open state, and cooled air is exhausted toward the user as indicated by the arrow B.
[0051] In this manner, by using the air cooling device 10 according to the present disclosure, a user can create a refreshing space of cooled air around himself / herself even in a crowded environment where air conditioning is not possible, such as when watching a sporting event or fireworks in hot weather.
[0052] FIG. 8 shows an embodiment in which an air guide member 30 is further added to the air cooling device 10 to accurately guide cooled air to a desired location by the user. In this embodiment, as described above, a diffusion nozzle 32 is connected to the air discharge hole 2 of the air cooling device main body 10, and a neck hose 31 is further connected to the diffusion nozzle 32, and the neck hose 31 is formed into a ring shape and wrapped around a desired part, the neck in the embodiment shown in the figure. The neck hose 31 is provided with at least one air blowing opening 310a through which cooled air is discharged to the outside of the device. This makes it possible to efficiently form a refreshing space around the neck hose 31. It is also possible to further attach an adjustment member 35 to the neck hose 31 to adjust the diameter of the ring-shaped part. This is a member configured to sandwich the neck hose 31 and is configured to be movable along its external shape. This allows the diameter of the ring-shaped part of the neck hose 31 to be freely set according to the shape of the part to be wrapped around, such as the neck, shoulders, etc. In either of the embodiments shown in Figs. 7 and 8, the string member 36 can be used by attaching it to either the air cooling device main body shown in Fig. 5 or the ice pack case 11a.
[0053] 9 and 10 are diagrams showing the neck hose 31 in use and its other modes. In the modes shown in these figures, cooled air is discharged from the ventilation openings 31a provided on the inner circumferential surface side of the annular neck hose 31 toward a part 37 of the user's body, such as the neck and shoulders. By using a material that has a shape-retaining function, it is also possible to cut off a part of the annular shape as shown in FIG. 9. By configuring in this way, the diameter of the annular part can be set freely. That is, the diameter can be set to be short by overlapping the cut-off parts, while the diameter can be set to be long by widening the distance between the cut-off parts.
[0054] The detached portion of the neck hose 31 configured as in Fig. 9 can also be connected by a pair of connectors, hose connectors 44, 45, as shown in Fig. 10(a) and (b). Any type of connector can be used as long as it can reliably connect the detached portion.
[0055] The air cooling device according to the present disclosure has been described above with reference to the drawings. However, the above aspects and examples are merely examples of implementations of the present disclosure, and various modifications are possible without departing from the spirit of the present disclosure.
