[0030] Techniques, methods and devices that are already known to those skilled in the art may not be discussed in detail, but where appropriate, said techniques, methods and devices should be considered as part of the specification.
[0031] In some related technologies, functional elements such as a front camera and an IR hole are installed under the screen of a full-screen mobile phone. However, the inventors have found through research that the low light transmittance of the screen in the related technologies will affect the optical signal reception of the functional elements under the screen to a certain extent.
[0032] In view of this, the embodiments of the present disclosure provide a pixel array structure, a display panel and a display device that can improve the optical signal reception of functional units under the screen.
[0033] FIG. 1 is a structural schematic diagram of an embodiment of a display device according to the present disclosure.
[0034] As shown in Fig. 1, in some embodiments, a display device includes a display panel 3 and a functional device 4. The display panel 3 has a specific pixel array structure, which includes a first pixel region L and a second pixel region H adjacent to each other. The first pixel region L and the second pixel region H being adjacent to each other means that the distance between the edge of the first pixel region L adjacent to the second pixel region H and the second pixel region H is smaller than the height of the sub-pixels in the first pixel region L in the column direction. In Fig. 1, most of the display panel 3 is the second pixel region H, and the first pixel region L is located at the upper edge of the second pixel region H.
[0035] The functional element 4 may be located on the opposite side of the light output side of the display panel 3, and the light receiving surface of the functional element 4 corresponds to the first pixel region L in the pixel array structure of the display panel 3, and is used to receive incident light from the light output side of the display panel 3.
[0036] The functional element 4 may include a camera element, for example a front camera of a mobile phone. The functional element may further include an IR element, a reflective inductive element, or an ambient light sensor, etc. The first pixel area L and the second pixel area H can display an image, and the functional element can further transmit the first pixel area of the display panel 3 and receive incident light from outside the display panel.
[0037] In order to increase the light transmittance of the first pixel region L, the pixel density of the first pixel region L may be smaller than the pixel density of the second pixel region H. Therefore, according to the embodiment of the present disclosure, the first pixel region and the second pixel region adjacent to each other include pixel groups with different arrangement types, and the pixel density of the first pixel region is smaller than the pixel density of the second pixel region, thereby reducing the light emitting area of the first pixel region so that the functional element receives more optical signals, thereby increasing the light transmittance, and at the same time, simplifying the design of the backplane circuit of the first pixel region.
[0038] FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram of a pixel array according to an embodiment of the pixel array structure of the present disclosure.
[0039] As shown in FIG. 2, in some embodiments, the first pixel region L includes a plurality of overlapping first type pixel groups 10. Each first type pixel group 10 is arranged in a first arrangement method. The first arrangement method is, as an option, a Real arrangement (i.e., Real RGB). Such an arrangement method may include some red (R) sub-pixels, green (G) sub-pixels, and blue (B) sub-pixels arranged in an array, and the three different color sub-pixels intersect with each other to present a shape similar to the character "pin". The second pixel region H includes a plurality of overlapping second type pixel groups. Each second type pixel group is arranged in a second arrangement method. The second arrangement method is, as an option, a Pentile arrangement, that is, by adding one sub-pixel on top of RGB, for example, realizing red-green-blue-green (RGBG), red-green-blue-white (RGBW), red-green-blue-yellow (RGBY), etc., and some sub-pixels in the Pentile arrangement are "shared", thereby realizing a resolution higher than the actual resolution in terms of visual effect.
[0040] By using the Real arrangement for the first type pixel group 10, the loss of visual effect in the first pixel region L can be reduced as much as possible. Since the pixel density of the first pixel region L is smaller than that of the second pixel region H, compared with using virtual resolution, the first pixel region L with the Real arrangement method using true resolution for the pixel group can improve the visual experience of the human eye. Moreover, since the number of two types of color sub-pixels of R and B in the Real arrangement method is twice that of the Pentile arrangement method, in the case of the same aperture ratio (i.e., the same luminance), the luminance of each sub-pixel of the pixel group in the Real arrangement is 1 / 2 of that of each sub-pixel of the pixel group in the Pentile arrangement, and the corresponding required sub-pixel current is also 1 / 2 of that of the Pentile arrangement, thereby reducing the life decay rate of the sub-pixels.
[0041] In FIG. 2, the first pixel region L is adjacent to the second pixel region H. The number of sub-pixels in the row direction and column direction in the first pixel region L based on the real arrangement is reduced by 1 / 2 compared to the number of sub-pixels in the second pixel region H based on the Pentile arrangement, so that the pixel density of the first pixel region L can be 1 / 2 of the pixel density of the second pixel region H. In some other embodiments, the ratio of the pixel density of the first pixel region L to the pixel density of the second pixel region H can be 1 / N, where N is an integer greater than 1. Here, the pixel density of the first pixel region L is the real pixel density, and the real pixel refers to a physical pixel, i.e., the smallest physical unit that can control display in a display panel. The pixel density of the second pixel region H is the virtual pixel density. The virtual pixel is also called an intuitive pixel, and its color is a mixture of pixels of multiple colors adjacent to each other. The bright spots formed by the virtual pixels are dispersed and located between each real sub-pixel.
[0042] As shown in Fig. 2, in some embodiments, the first type pixel group 10 includes a first sub-pixel 11 of a first color, a second sub-pixel 12 of a second color, and a third sub-pixel 13 of a third color (different colors are separated by different filling patterns in the figure). Lines connecting the centers of the first sub-pixel 11, the second sub-pixel 12, and the third sub-pixel 13 may form a triangle. In Fig. 2, the first sub-pixel 11 in the first type pixel group 10 is located on one side away from the second pixel region H of the second sub-pixel 12 and the third sub-pixel 13 (i.e., above the second sub-pixel 12 and the third sub-pixel 13 in Fig. 2).
[0043] In some embodiments, the first color is green, the second color is red, and the third color is blue, forming an RGB primary color triplet. In other embodiments, the first color is green, the second color is blue, and the third color is red. In other embodiments, the three colors may be other colors, such as blue, magenta, and yellow, forming a CMY primary color triplet.
[0044] The overlapping first type pixel groups 10 are arranged in an array. The centers of the first sub-pixels 11 of the first type pixel groups in each column in the first pixel region L are located on the same straight line. In an embodiment where the first color is green, the human eye has a relatively high sensitivity to the green sub-pixels, so if the green sub-pixels are arranged on a straight line in the column direction, the pixel arrangement in the first pixel region L can be made visually more uniform. In addition, the centers of the first sub-pixels 11 of the first type pixel groups 10 in each row can be arranged on the same straight line, and the centers of the second sub-pixels and the third sub-pixels of the first type pixel groups 10 in each row can be arranged on the same straight line. By arranging the first sub-pixels in a straight line and arranging the second sub-pixels and the third sub-pixels in a straight line in the row direction, the white point distribution formed by the first type pixel groups 10 can be made more uniform, thereby improving the display quality.
[0045] 2, the centers of the second sub-pixels 12 in the first type pixel group 10 in each column in the first pixel region L are aligned on the same line, and the centers of the third sub-pixels 13 are aligned on the same line. As a result, the second and third colors in the first pixel region L form vertical lines with relatively high consistency in the column direction and can be arranged in a straight line in the column direction in accordance with the first sub-pixels of the first color, making the pixel arrangement in the column and row directions of the first pixel region L visually more uniform, thereby improving the display quality.
[0046] 2, in some embodiments, the second type pixel group 20 includes a fourth sub-pixel 21 of a first color, a fifth sub-pixel 22 of a second color, a sixth sub-pixel 23 of a third color, and a seventh sub-pixel 24 of the first color, where the first color, the second color, and the third color may refer to the colors of the sub-pixels in the first pixel area L. For example, the first color is green, the second color is red, and the third color is blue.
[0047] 3 and 4 are schematic diagrams of pixel arrays of odd-numbered and even-numbered pixel groups located in the second display region in one embodiment of a pixel array structure according to the present disclosure, respectively.
[0048] 3 and 4, the second type pixel group 20 in the embodiment of FIG. 2 may be divided into a first pixel group 20a and a second pixel group 20b according to the arrangement of sub-pixels. A plurality of overlapping second type pixel groups 20 may be arranged in an array. The first pixel group 20a and the second pixel group 20b are arranged to overlap in the row direction and spaced apart from each other in the column direction.
[0049] 3, the fourth subpixel 21 of the first pixel group 20a is located to the left of the sixth subpixel 23, the fifth subpixel 22 is located to the right of the sixth subpixel 23, and the seventh subpixel 24 is located below between the fifth subpixel 22 and the sixth subpixel 23. In FIG. 4, the seventh subpixel 24 of the second pixel group 20b is located to the lower left of the fifth subpixel 22, the fourth subpixel 21 is located to the right of the fifth subpixel 22, and the sixth subpixel 23 is located to the right of the fourth subpixel 21. In both the first pixel group 20a and the second pixel group 20b, the fourth subpixel 21 and the seventh subpixel 24 are the first color.
[0050] 2, in some embodiments, the centers of the first sub-pixels 11 of the first type pixel groups 10 in each column in the first pixel region L and one of the fourth sub-pixels 21 and the seventh sub-pixels 24 in the second type pixel groups 20 in each column in the second pixel region H are located on the same straight line. In an embodiment in which the first color is green, since the sensitivity of the human eye to the green sub-pixels is relatively high, when the green sub-pixels are arranged in a straight line in the column direction of the first pixel region L and the second pixel region H, the matching degree of the white lines in the column direction in the first pixel region L and the second pixel region H adjacent to each other can be made higher, so that the image change and offset of the first pixel region L and the second pixel region H can be made relatively small, thereby improving the image quality.
[0051] 5 to 8 are schematic diagrams of pixel arrays of several examples of pixel array structures according to the present disclosure.
[0052] 2 and 5, the difference between the embodiment in FIG. 5 and the embodiment in FIG. 2 is that the first sub-pixel 11 in the first type pixel group 10 in the first pixel region L is located on one side of the second sub-pixel 12 and the third sub-pixel 13 adjacent to the second pixel region H (i.e., below the second sub-pixel 12 and the third sub-pixel 13 in FIG. 5). As a result, the sub-pixels adjacent to the second pixel region H in the first pixel region L are the second sub-pixel 12 and the third sub-pixel 13, and the sub-pixel adjacent to the first pixel region L in the second pixel region H is the first sub-pixel 11, which makes the colors of the sub-pixels adjacent to each other in the first pixel region L and the second pixel region H different, thereby reducing or eliminating the risk of color shift due to color accumulation of the second sub-pixel and the third sub-pixel at the boundary position of the two pixel regions, and thereby improving screen quality.
[0053] As shown in FIGS. 2 and 6, the difference between the embodiment in FIG. 2 and the embodiment in FIG. 6 is that the arrangement of the first type pixel groups in odd and even rows in the first pixel region L is different. In FIG. 6, the positions of the second sub-pixels 12 and the third sub-pixels 13 in the first type pixel groups 10a in odd rows and the first type pixel groups 10b in even rows are opposite to each other with respect to the first sub-pixel 11. The first type pixel groups 10a in odd rows and the first type pixel groups 10b in even rows are arranged at intervals along the column direction. With this pixel structure, the first pixel region L can be formed in a form in which the second sub-pixels 12 of the second color and the third sub-pixels of the third color are alternately arranged along the column direction, which can reduce the risk of color shift caused by single color accumulation, thereby improving the image quality.
[0054] 6, in some embodiments, the centers of the second sub-pixels 12 of the first type pixel groups 10a or 10b of at least some rows and columns in the first pixel region L and the fifth sub-pixels 22 of the second type pixel groups 20 of the corresponding columns in the second pixel region H are aligned on the same line. In this way, the first pixel region L and the second pixel region H can form a second color line having a relatively consistent shape. Similarly, the centers of the third sub-pixels 13 of the first type pixel groups 10a or 10b of at least some rows and columns in the first pixel region L and the sixth sub-pixels 23 of the second type pixel groups 20 of the corresponding columns in the second pixel region H can be aligned on the same line. In this way, the image change and offset of the first pixel region L and the second pixel region H can be relatively small, thereby improving image quality.
[0055] In FIG. 6, the colors of adjacent sub-pixels in the first pixel region L and the second pixel region H are different, which can effectively reduce or eliminate the risk of color shift caused by accumulation of sub-pixels of the same color at the boundary position of the two pixel regions, thereby improving screen quality.
[0056] As shown in FIGS. 5 and 7, the difference between the embodiment in FIG. 5 and the embodiment in FIG. 7 is that the arrangement of the first type pixel groups in odd and even rows in the first pixel region L is different. In FIG. 7, the positions of the second sub-pixels 12 and the third sub-pixels 13 in the first type pixel groups 10a in odd rows and the first type pixel groups 10b in even rows are opposite to each other with respect to the first sub-pixel 11.
[0057] 7, in some embodiments, the centers of the second sub-pixels 12 of the first type pixel groups 10a or 10b of at least some rows and columns in the first pixel region L and the fifth sub-pixels 22 of the second type pixel groups 20 of the corresponding columns in the second pixel region H are aligned on the same line.
[0058] In FIG. 7, the colors of adjacent sub-pixels in the first pixel region L and the second pixel region H are different, which can effectively reduce or eliminate the risk of color shift caused by accumulation of sub-pixels of the same color at the boundary position of the two pixel regions, thereby improving screen quality.
[0059] Compared with the above embodiments, in some embodiments, as shown in FIG. 8, a plurality of eighth sub-pixels 25 of a first color may be provided at a position of the second pixel region H adjacent to the first pixel region L. The eighth sub-pixels 25 are located between the second sub-pixel and the third sub-pixel between the first type sub-pixel groups of each of two adjacent columns in the first pixel region. In FIG. 8, the second color and the third color sub-pixels alternate at the interface between the first pixel region L and the second pixel region H, and the eighth sub-pixels 25 are added to mix the second color and the third color sub-pixels, thereby eliminating the risk of purple overflowing at the interface, thereby improving image quality.
[0060] The eighth sub-pixel 25 may also be added to other embodiments, such as the embodiments in Figures 2 and 6, and the eighth sub-pixel 25 may be located adjacent to the first pixel region L in the second pixel region H, and between the second sub-pixel and the third sub-pixel between the first type sub-pixel groups of each two adjacent columns in the first pixel region.
[0061] 2 to 8, in some embodiments, the second subpixel 12, the third subpixel 13, the fifth subpixel 22, and the sixth subpixel 23 have the same shape, which is a hexagon. The first subpixel 11 has a hexagonal shape, which is the same as the shapes of the second subpixel 12 and the third subpixel 13, but is different from the shapes of the fourth subpixel 21 and the seventh subpixel 22. The fourth subpixel 21 and the seventh subpixel 24 have pentagonal shapes in opposite directions, and both have the same area. The fifth subpixel 22 and the sixth subpixel 23 have the same area, and the area of the fourth subpixel 21 is smaller than the area of the fifth subpixel 22.
[0062] In each embodiment of the pixel array structure of the present disclosure, the shape and array method of the sub-pixels in each pixel group are not limited to those shown in FIGS. 2 to 8, and other shapes and array methods may also be used.
[0063] FIG. 9 is a schematic diagram of a pixel array in another embodiment of a pixel array structure according to the present disclosure.
[0064] As shown in Fig. 9, in some embodiments, a first type pixel group 10' includes a first sub-pixel 11' of a first color, a second sub-pixel 12' of a second color, and a third sub-pixel 13' of a third color (different colors are distinguished by different fill patterns in the figure). Lines connecting the centers of the first sub-pixel 11', the second sub-pixel 12', and the third sub-pixel 13' may form a triangle. In Fig. 9, the first sub-pixel 11' in the first type pixel group 10' is located on one side away from the second pixel region H of the second sub-pixel 12' and the third sub-pixel 13' (i.e., above the second sub-pixel 12' and the third sub-pixel 13' in Fig. 9).
[0065] In some embodiments, the first color is green, the second color is red, and the third color is blue, forming an RGB primary color triplet. In other embodiments, the first color is green, the second color is blue, and the third color is red. In other embodiments, the three colors may be other colors, such as blue, magenta, and yellow, forming a CMY primary color triplet.
[0066] 9, the second type pixel group 20' includes a fourth sub-pixel 21' of a first color, a fifth sub-pixel 22' of a second color, a sixth sub-pixel 23' of a third color, and a seventh sub-pixel 24' of a first color. In this embodiment, the shapes of the sub-pixels in the first type pixel group 10' and the second type pixel group 20' are the same, that is, square, and angled at 45° with respect to both the row direction and the column direction.
[0067] 10 and 11 are schematic diagrams of pixel arrays of odd-numbered and even-numbered pixel groups located in the second display region in another embodiment of a pixel array structure according to the present disclosure, respectively.
[0068] 10 and 11, the second type pixel group 20' in the embodiment of FIG. 9 may be divided into a first pixel group 20a' and a second pixel group 20b' according to the arrangement of the sub-pixels. A plurality of overlapping second type pixel groups 20' may be arranged in an array. The first pixel group 20a' and the second pixel group 20b' are overlapped in the row direction and spaced apart from each other in the column direction.
[0069] In Fig. 10, the seventh subpixel 24' of the first pixel group 20a' is located below between the fifth subpixel 22' and the sixth subpixel 23', the fifth subpixel 22' is located to the left of the sixth subpixel 23', and the fourth subpixel 21' is located to the lower right of the sixth subpixel 23'. In Fig. 11, the fourth subpixel 21' of the first pixel group 20a' is located below between the fifth subpixel 22' and the sixth subpixel 23', the fifth subpixel 22' is located to the right of the sixth subpixel 23', and the seventh subpixel 24' is located to the lower right of the fifth subpixel 22'. In the first pixel group 20a' and the second pixel group 20b', the fourth subpixel 21' and the seventh subpixel 24' are both the first color.
[0070] 12 to 15 are schematic diagrams of pixel arrays of several other examples of pixel array structures according to the present disclosure.
[0071] As shown in FIG. 9 and FIG. 12 to FIG. 15, in some embodiments, the overlapping multiple first type pixel groups 10' are arranged in an array. The centers of the first sub-pixels 11' of the first type pixel groups 10' in each column in the first pixel region L are located on the same straight line. In an embodiment in which the first color is green, since the human eye has a relatively high sensitivity to the green sub-pixels, if the green sub-pixels are arranged on a straight line in the column direction, the pixel arrangement in the first pixel region L can be made visually more uniform. Furthermore, the centers of the first sub-pixels 11' of the first type pixel groups 10' in each row can be arranged on the same straight line, and the centers of the second sub-pixels 12' and the third sub-pixels 13' can also be arranged on the same straight line. By arranging the first sub-pixels 11' on a straight line in the row direction and arranging the second sub-pixels 12' and the third sub-pixels 13' on a straight line, the white point distribution formed by the first type pixel groups 10' can be made more uniform, thereby improving the display quality.
[0072] 9 and 12, the centers of the second sub-pixels 12' and the third sub-pixels 13' in the first type pixel group 10' in each column in the first pixel region L are aligned on the same line. In this way, the second and third colors in the first pixel region L can form vertical lines with relatively high consistency in the column direction and be arranged in a straight line in the column direction together with the first sub-pixels 11' of the first color, making the pixel arrangement in the column and row directions of the first pixel region L visually more uniform, thereby improving the display quality.
[0073] 9 and 12 to 15, the centers of the first sub-pixel 11' of the first type pixel group 10' in each column in the first pixel region L and one of the fourth sub-pixel 21' and the seventh sub-pixel 24' in the second type pixel group 20' in each column in the second pixel region H are located on the same straight line. In an embodiment in which the first color is green, since the sensitivity of the human eye to the green sub-pixels is relatively high, when the green sub-pixels are arranged on a straight line in the column direction of the first pixel region L and the second pixel region H, the matching degree of the white lines in the column direction in the first pixel region L and the second pixel region H adjacent to each other can be made higher, thereby making the image change and offset of the first pixel region L and the second pixel region H smaller, thereby improving the image quality.
[0074] As shown in Figures 9 and 13, in some embodiments, the sub-pixels in the first pixel region L adjacent to the second pixel region H are the second sub-pixel 12' and the third sub-pixel 13', and the sub-pixels in the second pixel region H adjacent to the first pixel region L are the third sub-pixel 13' and the second sub-pixel 12', thereby making the colors of adjacent sub-pixels in the first pixel region L and the second pixel region H different, and reducing or eliminating the risk of color shift due to color accumulation at the boundary position of the two pixel regions, thereby improving screen quality.
[0075] 9 and 13, the first sub-pixel 11' in the first type pixel group 10' in the first pixel region L in the embodiment in FIGS. 12 and 14 is located on one side of the second sub-pixel 12' and the third sub-pixel 13' that is close to the second pixel region H (i.e., below the second sub-pixel 12 and the third sub-pixel 13 in FIG. 12). As a result, the sub-pixel adjacent to the second pixel region H in the first pixel region L is the first sub-pixel 11', and the sub-pixels adjacent to the first pixel region L in the second pixel region H are the second sub-pixel 12' and the third sub-pixel 13', so that the colors of the sub-pixels adjacent to each other in the first pixel region L and the second pixel region H are different, reducing or eliminating the risk of color shift caused by color accumulation at the boundary position of the two pixel regions, and avoiding purple overflow by combining white light, thereby improving the screen quality.
[0076] As shown in FIG. 9 and FIG. 12 to FIG. 14, the difference between the embodiment in FIG. 9 and FIG. 12 and the embodiment in FIG. 13 and FIG. 14 is that the arrangement of the first type pixel groups in odd and even rows in the first pixel region L is different. In FIG. 13 and FIG. 14, the positions of the second sub-pixel 12' and the third sub-pixel 13' in the first type pixel group 10a' in the odd rows and the first type pixel group 10b' in the even rows are opposite to each other with respect to the first sub-pixel 11'. The first type pixel group 10a' in the odd rows and the first type pixel group 10b' in the even rows are arranged at intervals along the column direction. With this pixel structure, the first pixel region L can be formed in a form in which the second sub-pixel 12' of the second color and the third sub-pixel 13' of the third color are alternately arranged along the column direction, which can reduce the risk of color shift due to single color accumulation, thereby improving the image quality.
[0077] Also, as shown in FIG. 9 and FIG. 12 to FIG. 14, in some embodiments, the centers of the second sub-pixels 12' of the first type pixel groups 10', 10a', or 10b' in each column of at least some rows in the first pixel region L and the fifth sub-pixels 22' of the second type pixel groups 20' in the corresponding column in the second pixel region H are aligned on the same straight line. In this way, the first pixel region L and the second pixel region H can form a second color line having a relatively consistent shape. Similarly, the centers of the third sub-pixels 13' of the first type pixel groups 10', 10a', or 10b' in each column of at least some rows in the first pixel region L and the sixth sub-pixels 23' of the second type pixel groups 20' in the corresponding column in the second pixel region H can be aligned on the same straight line. In this way, the image change and offset of the first pixel region L and the second pixel region H can be further reduced, thereby improving image quality.
[0078] Compared with the embodiments shown in FIG. 9 and FIG. 12 to FIG. 14, in some embodiments, as shown in FIG. 15, a plurality of eighth sub-pixels 25' of a first color may be provided at a position adjacent to the first pixel region L of the second pixel region H. The eighth sub-pixel 25 is located between the second sub-pixel 12' and the third sub-pixel 13' between the first type sub-pixel groups 10' of each of two adjacent columns in the first pixel region. In FIG. 15, sub-pixels of the second color and the third color alternately appear at the location where the first pixel region L and the second pixel region H contact each other, and the eighth sub-pixel 25' is increased to mix the sub-pixels of the second color and the third color, thereby eliminating the risk of purple overflowing at the contact location, thereby improving image quality.
[0079] The eighth sub-pixel 25' may also be added to other embodiments, such as the embodiments in Figures 9 and 13, and the eighth sub-pixel 25' may be located adjacent to the first pixel region L in the second pixel region H, between the second sub-pixel 12' and the third sub-pixel 13' between the first type sub-pixel groups of each two adjacent columns in the first pixel region.
[0080] 9 to 15, the shapes of the sub-pixels included in the first type pixel group 10' and the second type pixel group 20' are all the same, for example, square. The areas of the fourth sub-pixel 21', the fifth sub-pixel 22', the sixth sub-pixel 23', and the seventh sub-pixel 24' in the second type pixel group 20' are all equal.
[0081] 16 to 20 are schematic diagrams of pixel arrays of further some examples of pixel array structures according to the present disclosure.
[0082] Compared to the embodiments shown in Figures 2 and 5 to 8, the embodiments shown in Figures 16 to 20 are identical in terms of the arrangement method, color, shape, etc. of the sub-pixels in the first type pixel group 10 and the second type pixel group 20, but the difference is that the first type pixel group 10 in the first pixel region L in the embodiments shown in Figures 16 to 20 is arranged more sparsely, and the pixel density is 1 / 4 of the pixel density in the second pixel region H.
[0083] In each of the above pixel array structure embodiments, the first pixel region L may be located in any direction of the second pixel region. For example, the second pixel region H in FIG. 1 may be located on both the left and right sides and below the first pixel region L.
[0084] The above pixel array structure embodiments may be applied to a display panel, and thus the present disclosure provides a display panel having any one of the above pixel array structure embodiments.
