Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a tape and a container with a tape.
Background Art
[0002] There is a technology related to a cut tape and a packaging bag with a cut tape that can be easily opened by linearly tearing the packaging bag without resistance and can be easily attached to the packaging bag by a general bag-making machine. For example, it is described in Patent Document 1. In the technology described in Patent Document 1, the cut tape includes a guiding portion, first and second base portions, and a seal layer. The guiding portion is fused to the sealant layer of the container body through the seal layer. The first and second base portions are laminated on the guiding portion, and each has a laminated portion with a thin thickness and a main body portion that is fused to the sealant layer of the container body. The laminated portions of the first and second base portions are fused to the guiding portion, the main body portion protrudes toward the sealant layer side of the container body, and a convex portion having a substantially trapezoidal cross-section with a slope on the guiding portion side is formed. In the technology described in Patent Document 1, the guiding portion and the base portion of the cut tape are formed of resins that are incompatible with each other, specifically, for example, a combination of a low-density polyethylene-based resin and a random polypropylene-based resin. By forming with such a combination of resins, the guiding portion can be easily peeled from the base portion during opening.

Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0004] On the other hand, in recent years, in order to improve the recyclability of resin products, there has been a demand for making many materials into a single compound, i.e., monomer materialization, and even cut tapes as described in Patent Document 1 have been studied. However, in combinations of incompatible resins, generally the types of resins that become the main components are different, and it is difficult to achieve monomer materialization when a base portion and an induction portion are formed with such a resin combination.
[0005] Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a tape including a base portion and a tear strip piece, and a container with such a tape, which can be peeled between the base portion and the tear strip piece by an intermediate layer regardless of the types of resins that are the main components of the base portion and the tear strip piece.

Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[0009] Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the present specification and drawings, components having substantially the same functional configuration are denoted by the same reference numerals, and redundant description is omitted.
[0010] (First Embodiment) Figure 1 is a plan view of a bag-like container according to a first embodiment of the present invention. In the illustrated example, the bag-like container 100 includes a film 110 that forms a container body including a first surface 111A and a second surface 111B facing each other, and a tape 200 joined to the first surface 111A of the film 110. In the bag-like container 100, a storage space SP is formed between the first surface 111A and the second surface 111B. The tape 200 includes a base portion 210 and a tear strip piece 220, and a tab 140 is formed near one end of the tear strip piece 220. By pulling the tear strip piece 220 starting from the tab 140, the first surface 111A can be torn to form an opening communicating with the storage space SP.
[0011] The film 110 is composed of, for example, a single-layer or multi-layer thermoplastic resin film. The thermoplastic resin may specifically be low-density polyethylene (LDPE), linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE), or polypropylene (PP). PP may be homopolypropylene (HPP), random polypropylene (RPP), or block polypropylene (BPP). When the film 110 is composed of a multi-layer film, biaxially stretched polypropylene (OPP), biaxially stretched polyethylene terephthalate (OPET), or biaxially stretched nylon (ONy) may be used for the surface base material. Further, the film constituting the film 110 may include a layer of a metal material such as aluminum or a layer of an inorganic material. Also, a resin film containing an arbitrary amount of biodegradable plastic such as biodegradable polyethylene can be used. When recycling without separating the tape 200 from the film 110, it is preferable from the viewpoint of monomaterialization to form the film 110 with a resin composition mainly composed of the same resin as the base portion 210 and the tear strip piece 220 of the tape 200.
[0012] In an embodiment of the present invention, the container body is composed of at least one film. However, the specific forming method can be appropriately selected from known techniques and is not particularly limited. For example, in the illustrated example, two films 110 are overlapped and joined to each other by a top seal portion 112, a bottom seal portion 113, and a side seal portion 114 to form the container body. In another example, the container body may be formed by folding back a single film. In this case, the side seal portion is formed only on one side of the bag-shaped container, or a back seal portion is formed instead of the side seal portion. Gussets may be formed on the bottom corresponding to the bottom seal portion 113 of the bag-shaped container 100 or on the side corresponding to the side seal portion 114. In this case, an additional film is used to form the gussets, and the container body may be composed of three or more films. Further, when the bag-shaped container 100 is provided, the top seal portion 112 is not formed, and the top seal portion 112 may be formed subsequently after filling the contents.
[0013] In addition, in the embodiment of the present invention, the tear strip 220 is arranged for opening the container body. However, the configuration such as the tab 140 for opening the bag-like container 100 using the tear strip 220 can be appropriately selected from known techniques and is not particularly limited. For example, in the illustrated example, the tab 140 is formed in the side seal portion 114, and the tab 140 penetrates from the first surface 111A to the second surface 111B. Therefore, when opening, the second surface 111B is also picked up together with the tear strip 220. For example, a weakened portion (not shown) such as a cut is formed from the second surface 111B side near the tab 140 to separate the second surface 111B and the tear strip 220 can be pulled. In another example, a surrounding seal portion having a non-joined portion as the tab forming portion may be formed. Further, for example, when the film is folded back at the side portion of the bag-like container where the tab is formed, the tab 140 is formed by penetrating the first surface 111A, the tear strip 220, and the base portion 210 before folding the film. After joining a protective member so as to cover the region where the tab 140 is formed from the inside of the container body, the film may be folded back to form the second surface 111B. Further, a cut or a thin portion for forming an end point of tearing may be formed near the end of the tear strip 220 on the side opposite to the tab 140.
[0014] Figure 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along line II-II of Figure 1, and Figure 3 is a view showing the state before attaching the tape shown in Figure 2. With reference to these figures, the configuration of the tape 200 in the first embodiment of the present invention will be further described. The tape 200 is a long member. Here, the long shape means a shape extending with the same cross-section, and each part of the tape 200 described below is a part included in its cross-sectional shape. Such a tape 200 can be manufactured, for example, by extrusion molding of a resin material as described later. However, since the cross-sectional shape of the tape 200 may change due to processing such as cutting, notching, or crushing before or after attachment to the container body, the tape 200 does not always have the same cross-sectional shape in all parts in the length direction.
[0015] In the illustrated example, the tape 200 includes a base portion 210, a tear strip piece 220, and an intermediate layer 230. The base portion 210 is formed of a first resin composition and includes a first portion 211, and a second portion 212 and a third portion 213 that are integrally formed with the first portion 211 and have a dimension in the thickness direction of the tape 200 larger than that of the first portion 211. The tear strip piece 220 is formed of a second resin composition and is laminated on the first portion 211 between the second portion 212 and the third portion 213 of the base portion 210. The intermediate layer 230 is formed of a third resin composition and is interposed between the first portion 211 of the base portion 210 and the tear strip piece 220. The tape 200 is disposed such that the second portion 212 and the third portion 213 of the base portion 210, and the side of the tear strip piece 220 opposite to the intermediate layer 230 face the first surface 111A of the film 110 that is the container body.
[0016] In the present embodiment, an opening 214 is formed in a region of the first portion 211 that overlaps the tear strip piece 220. After the opening is formed by tearing the first surface 111A using the tear strip piece 220, the inside and the outside communicate with each other through the opening in the first surface 111A and the opening 214 already formed in the base portion 210. Since the first portion 211 of the base portion 210 is divided into two parts with the opening 214 therebetween, in the illustrated example, the intermediate layer 230 joins the two parts of the first portion 211 and the tear strip piece 220, respectively. Instead of the opening 214, a weakened portion may be formed in which the first portion 211 is thinned to such an extent that it can be easily torn. The weakened portion may be formed, for example, by a cut or by laser processing or the like. The intermediate layer 230 may be formed over the entire region where the first portion 211 and the tear strip piece 220 face each other, or may be formed only in a part of this region.
[0017] Examples of the resin forming each part of the tape 200 include low density polyethylene (LDPE), linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE), or polypropylene (PP). Examples of PP include homopolypropylene (HPP), random polypropylene (RPP), or block polypropylene (BPP). These may be environmentally considerate bioplastics, or a mixture of a fossil fuel-derived resin and a biomass plastic such as biopolyethylene may be used. Also, as the resin forming each part of the tape 200, biodegradable resins such as environmentally considerate polylactic acid (PLA), polybutylene succinate (PBS), poly(butylene adipate / terephthalate) (PBAT), polycaprolactone (PCL), poly(caprolactone / butylene succinate) (PCLBS), poly(butylene succinate / adipate) (PBSA), poly(butylene succinate / carbonate) (PEC), poly(ethylene terephthalate / succinate) (PETS), poly(tetramethylene adipate / terephthalate) (PTMAT), polyethylene succinate (PES), polyvinyl alcohol (PVA-H), polyglycolic acid (PGA), and poly(hydroxybutyrate / hydroxyhexanoate) (PHBH) are also exemplified. These biodegradable resins may be derived from biomass. The first, second, and third resin compositions forming the base 210, the tear strip 220, and the intermediate layer 230 respectively may contain, for example, one or more of the resins exemplified above, and may further contain known additives, such as stabilizers, antioxidants, lubricants, antistatic agents, or colorants, as necessary.
[0018] When forming an opening in the bag-like container 100 by tearing the first surface 111A by pulling the tear strip piece 220 as described above, the pulled tear strip piece 220 peels off from the base portion 210. Such peeling occurs at least either between the base portion 210 and the intermediate layer 230 or between the tear strip piece 220 and the intermediate layer 230. In order to cause peeling, the intermediate layer 230 is formed of a third resin composition having a main component different from those of the first and second resin compositions forming the base portion 210 and the tear strip piece 220. In the present specification, the main component of the resin composition means the component having the highest content rate among the components of the resin composition. Therefore, the resin composition may contain only the main component, or may contain other components in addition to the main component. The main component of the resin composition can be confirmed, for example, by IR method.
[0019] Preferably, the third resin composition forming the intermediate layer 230 is a resin composition having low compatibility with each of the first and second resin compositions forming the base portion 210 and the tear strip piece 220. As a combination of resin compositions having low compatibility, a combination of a resin composition mainly composed of polyethylene and a resin composition mainly composed of polypropylene is exemplified. More specifically, as combinations of polyethylene and polypropylene and other combinations, low density polyethylene (LDPE) / random polypropylene (RPP), linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) / RPP (including some m-LL), LDPE / homopolypropylene (HPP), LLDPE / HPP (including some m-LL), LDPE / polystyrene (PS), LLDPE / PS (including m-LL), RPP / PS, HPP / PS, LDPE / polyethylene terephthalate (PET), LLDPE / PET, RPP / PET, HPP / PET, PS / PET, LDPE / nylon (Ny), LLDPE / Ny, RPP / Ny, HPP / Ny, and PS / Ny are exemplified. By forming the base portion 210, the tear strip piece 220, and the intermediate layer 230 of the tape 200 with the first and second resin compositions and the third resin composition each having these resin combinations as their main components, the tear strip piece 220 laminated on the base portion 210 via the intermediate layer 230 can be smoothly peeled off.
[0020] On the one hand, as long as the first resin composition forming the base portion 210 and the second resin composition forming the tear strip 220 each satisfy the requirement of being peelable from the third resin composition as described above, they may be the same resin composition or different resin compositions. From the perspective of making most of the materials into a single compound (monomaterialization), it is preferable that at least the main components are common between the first and second resin compositions, and it is more preferable that the first and second resin compositions have the same component composition. Specifically, for example, the main components of the first and second resin compositions forming the base portion 210 and the tear strip 220 may be polypropylene. In this case, by making the main component of the third resin composition forming the intermediate layer 230 a resin shown to have low compatibility with polypropylene in the above example of the combination, such as polyethylene, the tear strip 220 laminated on the base portion 210 via the intermediate layer 230 can be smoothly peeled off. As another example, the main components of the first and second resin compositions may be polyethylene. In this case, by making the main component of the third resin composition forming the intermediate layer 230 a resin shown to have low compatibility with polyethylene in the above example of the combination, such as polypropylene, the tear strip 220 can be smoothly peeled off.
[0021] In the tape 200 of the illustrated example, a seal layer 212A is laminated on the second portion 212 of the base portion 210, a seal layer 213A is laminated on the third portion 213, and a seal layer 220A is laminated on the side opposite to the intermediate layer 230 of the tear strip piece 220. The tape 200 is joined to the first surface 111A of the film 110 that constitutes the container body on the side opposite to the second portion 212 and the third portion 213 of the base portion 210 and the intermediate layer 230 of the tear strip piece 220 via the seal layers 212A, 213A, and 220A described above. For example, when joining can be performed without a seal layer between the first and second resin compositions forming the base portion 210 and the tear strip piece 220 and the film 110, the seal layer as described above is not laminated, and each part may be joined to the first surface 111A without a seal layer. Also, it is not always necessary to join all of the above-described parts to the first surface 111A. For example, the tear strip piece 220 may not be joined to the first surface 111A, and only the second portion 212 and the third portion 213 of the base portion 210 may be joined to the first surface 111A. Alternatively, the third portion 213 may not be joined to the first surface 111A, and only the second portion 212 may be joined to the first surface 111A. A weakened portion may be formed on the first surface 111A along the tear strip piece 220 to facilitate tearing of the first surface 111A by the tear strip piece 220. The weakened portion may be formed, for example, by a cut or by laser processing or the like. Also, the weakened portion may be formed, for example, on one or both sides of the region of the first surface 111A facing the tear strip piece 220, or may be formed within the region of the first surface 111A facing the tear strip piece 2220.
[0022] According to the first embodiment of the present invention as described above, regardless of the type of resin that is the main component of the base portion 210 and the tear strip piece 220, the intermediate layer 230 can be configured to be peelable between the base portion 210 and the tear strip piece 220. Thereby, the resins constituting the base portion 210 and the tear strip piece 220, which occupy most of the tape 200, can be freely selected, for example, to achieve substantial monomaterialization. In addition, since it may be advantageous that the resins constituting the base portion 210 and the tear strip piece 220 can be freely selected other than for the purpose of monomaterialization, the embodiments of the present invention are not limited to the case where the resin compositions forming the base portion 210 and the tear strip piece 220 are the same, or the case where the same resin is the main component. When aiming for monomaterialization, from the viewpoint of ease of peeling between the base portion 210 and the tear strip piece 220, and from the viewpoint of reducing the resin amount of the intermediate layer 230 formed of a third resin composition different from the first and second resin compositions, it is preferable that the thickness of the intermediate layer 230 be 1 / 100 or more and 1 / 1 or less of the thickness of the tear strip piece 220. The lower limit value is more preferably 1 / 70 or more, further preferably 1 / 50 or more, even more preferably 1 / 30 or more, and particularly preferably 1 / 20 or more. The upper limit value is more preferably 1 / 3 or less, further preferably 1 / 6 or less, even more preferably 1 / 12 or less, and particularly preferably 1 / 15 or less.
[0023] FIG. 4 is a diagram showing a modified example of the tape shown in FIG. 3. In the illustrated tape 200A, the intermediate layer 230 is also formed on the surface of the side surface of the tear strip piece 220, that is, the surface that does not face the first portion 211 of the base portion 210. The portions of the intermediate layer 230 formed on the side surfaces of the tear strip pieces 220 are illustrated as portions 230A and 230B, respectively. Thereby, even when, for example, the intervals between the second and third portions 212 and 213 of the base portion 210 and the tear strip piece 220 are narrowed or eliminated, the intermediate layer 230 including the portions 230A and 230B can smoothly peel the tear strip piece 220 from the base portion 210. Further, even in other cases, for example, when the resin melted during the molding of the tape 200A or when it is attached to the container body wraps around the outside of the intermediate layer 230 and the base portion 210 and the tear strip piece 220 are directly joined, it can be more reliably prevented.
[0024] FIG. 5 is a diagram showing another modified example of the tape shown in FIG. 3. In the illustrated tape 200B, the intermediate layer 230 includes a first intermediate layer 231 and a second intermediate layer 232 formed on both sides of the opening 214. As described above, the intermediate layer 230 may be formed only in a part of the region where the first portion 211 of the base portion 210 and the tear strip piece 220 face each other, and may be formed in two parts, for example, like the first and second intermediate layers 231 and 232 in the illustrated example. In other examples, the intermediate layer may be formed in three or more parts. When the intermediate layer 230 is formed so as to cover more parts of the surface of the tear strip piece 220 as in the examples of FIGS. 3 and 4, it is possible to more reliably prevent the base portion 210 and the tear strip piece 220 from being directly joined and to make the peeling of the tear strip piece 220 smoother. On the other hand, forming the intermediate layer 230 partially or in a plurality of parts between the base portion 210 and the tear strip piece 220, as in the example of FIG. 5, may be advantageous in that, for example, the proportion of materials other than a single compound in the case of making it a single material can be reduced.
[0025] (Second Embodiment) FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view of a bag-shaped container according to a second embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 7 is a view showing a state before the tape shown in FIG. 6 is attached. Note that since the overall configuration of the bag-shaped container 100A according to the present embodiment is the same as that of the bag-shaped container 100 described as the first embodiment above, duplicate detailed descriptions are omitted. For example, the modified examples of the first embodiment described with reference to FIGS. 4 and 5 are similarly applicable to the present embodiment.
[0026] The tape 300 attached to the bag-shaped container 100A is a long member similar to the tape 200 described above. The tape 300 includes a first base portion 310, a tear strip piece 320, an intermediate layer 330, a first engaging portion 340, a second base portion 350 (additional base portion), and a second engaging portion 360. The first base portion 310 is formed of a first resin composition and includes a first portion 311 and a second portion 312 formed integrally with the first portion 311 and having a dimension in the thickness direction of the tape 300 larger than that of the first portion 311. The tear strip piece 320 is formed of a second resin composition and is laminated on the first portion 311 of the first base portion 310. The intermediate layer 330 is formed of a third resin composition and is interposed between the first portion 311 of the first base portion 310 and the tear strip piece 320. The first base portion 310 is arranged so that the side opposite to the intermediate layer 330 of the second portion 312 and the tear strip piece 320 faces the first surface 111A of the film 110, which is the container body, and is joined to the first surface 111A at the second portion 312. The first engaging portion 340 is formed on the first base portion 310 on the side opposite to the second portion 312 with respect to the tear strip piece 320. The second base portion 350 is arranged at least partially opposite to the first base portion 310, the second engaging portion 360 is formed on the second base portion 350, and is engageable with the first engaging portion 340. The second base portion 350 is joined to the first surface 111A on the surface opposite to the second engaging portion 360.
[0027] The tape 300 as described above is a combination of a zipper tape including first and second engaging portions 340 and 360 and a tear strip piece 320. After an opening is formed by tearing the first surface 111A using the tear strip piece 320, communication is established between the outside and the storage space SP through the opening of the first surface 111A and between the first and second bases 310 and 350. Since the space between the first and second bases 310 and 350 can be sealed using the first and second engaging portions 340 and 360, the bag-like container 100A can be resealed even after the opening is formed using the tear strip piece 320. Although the first engaging portion 340 is illustrated as a female type and the second engaging portion 360 is illustrated as a male type engaging portion, the genders may be reversed. Without being limited to the illustrated example, it is possible to adopt the shapes of engaging portions of various known zipper tapes combined with claw-like, hook-like, or knob-like shapes. Also, although the first and second engaging portions 340 and 360 are illustrated as a pair of engaging portions, the number of engaging portions may be two or more pairs, and engaging portions having different shapes (for example, male and female types and hook types) may be used in combination.
[0028] The resin forming each part of the tape 300 can be the same as the resin forming each part of the tape 200 in the first embodiment above. The relationship between the first and second resin compositions forming the first base 310 and the tear strip piece 320 and the third resin composition forming the intermediate layer 330 can also be the same as in the first embodiment. The resin compositions forming the first engaging portion 340, the second base 350, and the second engaging portion 360 are not particularly limited, but it is preferable to form them with the same first resin composition as the first base 310, the same second resin composition as the tear strip piece 320, or a resin composition having a common main component with these resin compositions.
[0029] In the tape 300 of the illustrated example, a seal layer 312A is laminated on the second portion 312 of the first base 310, and a seal layer 320A is laminated on the side opposite to the intermediate layer 330 of the tear strip piece 320. The tape 300 is joined to the first surface 111A of the film 110 constituting the container body on the side opposite to the second portion 312 of the first base 310 and the intermediate layer 330 of the tear strip piece 320 through the seal layers 312A and 320A. Further, a seal layer 350A is laminated on the surface of the second base 350 opposite to the second engaging portion 360, and the second base 350 is joined to the first surface 111A through the seal layer 350A. For example, when joining is possible between the first and second resin compositions forming the first base 310 and the tear strip piece 320 and the resin composition forming the second base 350 and the film 110 without using a seal layer, the seal layer as described above is not laminated, and each part may be joined to the first surface 111A without using a seal layer. Further, the tear strip piece 320 does not necessarily have to be joined to the first surface 111A.
[0030] In the second embodiment of the present invention as described above, with respect to the tape 300 in the form of a zipper tape, regardless of the type of resin that is the main component of the first base portion 310 and the tear strip piece 320, the intermediate layer 330 can be configured to be separable between the first base portion 310 and the tear strip piece 320. By freely selecting the resin that constitutes most of the tape 300 including the first engaging portion 340, the second base portion 350, and the second engaging portion 360, for example, substantial monomaterialization can be achieved. In addition, since it may be advantageous that the resin constituting each part of the tape 300 can be freely selected other than for the purpose of monomaterialization, the embodiments of the present invention are not limited to the case where the resin compositions forming the first base portion 310 and the tear strip piece 320 are the same, or the case where the same resin is the main component. For the same reason, the resin composition forming the first engaging portion 340, the second base portion 350, and the second engaging portion 360 is not particularly limited either. When aiming for monomaterialization, from the viewpoint of ease of peeling between the first base portion 310 and the tear strip piece 320, and from the viewpoint of reducing the resin amount of the intermediate layer 330 formed of a third resin composition different from the other parts of the tape 300, it is preferable that the thickness of the intermediate layer 330 is 1 / 100 or more and 1 / 1 or less of the thickness of the tear strip piece 320. The lower limit value is more preferably 1 / 70 or more, still more preferably 1 / 50 or more, even more preferably 1 / 30 or more, and particularly preferably 1 / 20 or more. The upper limit value is more preferably 1 / 3 or less, still more preferably 1 / 6 or less, even more preferably 1 / 12 or less, and particularly preferably 1 / 15 or less.
[0031] In the tape formed in common in the above-described first and second embodiments, the second portion of the base in the tape, that is, the portion having a larger dimension in the thickness direction of the tape than the first portion where the tear strip pieces are laminated, in addition to functioning as a portion for joining the tape to the film of the container body as in the above example, also functions as a guide for the film of the container body to be torn straight when the tear strip pieces are pulled. The third portion formed in addition to the second portion in the first embodiment is also a portion having a large dimension in the thickness direction and functions as a guide for tearing in the same manner as the second portion. The third portion does not necessarily have to be joined to the film of the container body, and the third portion may not be formed if it is possible to tear straight only by the guide of the second portion. Although not shown, in the second embodiment, a third portion having a large dimension in the thickness direction may be formed on the side opposite to the second portion with respect to the tear strip pieces. However, in this case, the third portion is not joined to the film of the container body.
