Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a relaxation chair, and more particularly to a technology for realizing a chair that not only has a reclining function but also has a rocking function.
Background Art
[0002] In recent years, the ways of spending time in the living room have diversified, and chairs have been proposed that have the function of a chair with legs and also have a reclining function in which the backrest part tilts backward with respect to the seat surface.
[0003] For example, a chair having a reclining function as shown in Patent Document 1 includes a cushion body having a reclining function in which the back body can rotate in the front-rear direction with respect to the frame of the chair body having legs (Patent Document 1).
[0004] According to Patent Document 1, since it includes a cushion body having a reclining function in which the back body can rotate in the front-rear direction, the back body can be held at a desired angle as needed, and a relaxed posture can be taken while sitting on the chair.
[0005] By the way, according to the technology described in Patent Document 1, reclining of the back body is possible. However, since the cushion body is fixed to a wide armrest plate that vertically connects between the grounding plate in contact with the placement surface and the armrest for the elbows, the frame itself is difficult to bend, and a feeling of firmness may be felt as the sitting comfort.
[0006] As a chair for reducing the firm sitting comfort and obtaining a floating feeling while sitting on the chair, there is a chair having a rocking function. As a chair having a rocking function, it is common to form a grounding plate portion that contacts the placement surface on which the chair is placed in an arcuate shape so that it can swing back and forth. Alternatively, there is also a type that realizes a rocking function by charging a spring into the legs that support the seat surface and using the elastic force of the spring.
[0007] However, chairs with a general locking function have a weak structure when the center of gravity moves backward, and it has been difficult to adopt a structure for providing a reclining function.

Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0009] The present invention has been made in view of such problems, and an object thereof is to provide a relaxation chair that can simultaneously have a reclining function and a locking function and can maintain strength.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0010] In the present invention, the following means for solving the problems are provided.
[0011] The relaxation chair according to the first feature comprises a chair body including a seating surface portion and a backrest portion rotatably connected in the front-rear direction to the rear end of the seating surface portion, and a frame body that supports the chair body. The frame body is configured by connecting two sets of frame structures arranged on the left and right with a connecting rod. Each frame structure includes a substantially horizontal grounding plate portion extending in the front-rear direction and grounding on the placement surface, an armrest portion extending in the front-rear direction above the grounding plate portion, and a vertical rod portion extending in the vertical direction to connect the front end of the grounding plate portion and the front end of the armrest portion, and is integrally formed in a substantially U-shaped in side view as a first member, and a seat surface holding portion extending in the front-rear direction at a height between the other grounding portion and the armrest portion, a vertical piece portion in which a first connecting portion that bends in the vertical direction from the front end of the seat surface holding portion and is fixed to the vertical rod portion is formed, and a rear piece portion in which a second connecting portion that bends obliquely rearward from the rear end of the seat surface holding portion and is fixed to the armrest portion is formed, and is constituted by a second member, and the connecting rod is disposed on the grounding plate portion and the vertical rod portion.
[0012] According to the invention according to the first feature, since the connecting rod is disposed on the grounding plate portion and the vertical rod portion, the rotation of the backrest portion of the chair body in the front-rear direction is not hindered, and a reclining function can be obtained. Further, since the first member is integrally formed in a substantially U-shaped in side view, and moreover, the member that connects the armrest portion and the grounding plate portion both extending in the front-rear direction in the vertical direction is only the vertical rod portion at the front end, when a user sits on the relaxation chair, the back slightly sinks downward due to the deformation of the material forming the first member. In this way, a locking function utilizing the deflection of the material can be obtained. Moreover, although forming the frame body only with the first member having a substantially U-shaped in side view is inferior in strength, since the second member functions as a reinforcing member by connecting the vertical rod portion and the armrest portion, it is possible to maintain the strength while achieving both the reclining function and the locking function.
[0013] The invention according to the second feature is the invention according to the first feature, wherein the frame body is provided with a chair support portion for supporting the chair body on the first member and the second member.
[0014] According to the invention related to the second feature, since the chair support portion for the frame body to support the chair body is provided on the first member and the second member, the weight of the user can be dispersed to the first member and the second member, and the strength can be ensured while maintaining the reclining function and the locking function.
[0015] The invention related to the third feature is the invention related to the second feature, and a connecting rod disposed on the vertical rod portion is provided directly below the chair support portion of the first member so as to be in contact with the chair body.
[0016] According to the invention related to the third feature, since the connecting rod disposed on the vertical rod portion is provided directly below the chair support portion of the first member so as to be in contact with the chair body, the chair body and the weight of the user can be supported by the connecting rod disposed on the vertical rod portion. Therefore, sufficient strength can be obtained by utilizing the rigidity of the vertical rod portion itself.
Effects of the Invention
[0017] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a relaxation chair that can simultaneously have a reclining function and a locking function, and moreover, can maintain strength.

Modes for Carrying Out the Invention
[0019] Hereinafter, embodiments for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Note that this is merely an example, and the technical scope of the present invention is not limited thereto.
[0020] Using FIGS. 1 to 3, the overall configuration of the relaxation chair 1 according to the present embodiment will be described. In the present invention, the front-rear direction refers to the direction of the front side and the rear side when the relaxation chair 1 is viewed from the front, the vertical direction refers to the direction of gravity, and the width direction refers to the left-right direction when the relaxation chair 1 is viewed from the front.
[0021] FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram showing the overall configuration of the relaxation chair 1 according to the present invention. FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram showing the configuration of the frame body 200 of the relaxation chair 1 according to the present invention. FIG. 3 is a schematic diagram showing the internal frame 140 forming the chair body 100 according to the present embodiment. FIG. 3(a) is a side view, and FIG. 3(b) is a plan view.
[0022] As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the relaxation chair 1 according to the present invention is configured by joining a chair body 100 on which a user sits and a frame body 200 that supports the chair body 100 above the placement surface.
[0023] The chair body 100 is composed of a seat surface portion 110 that supports the user's buttocks and thighs, a backrest portion 120 that supports the user's back, and a footrest portion 130 that supports the user's calves. As shown in FIG. 3(a), the chair body 100 includes an internal frame 140 formed by metal pipes that form a framework inside a cushion body, and the backrest portion 120 is rotatably connected in the front-rear direction so that the angle can be switched stepwise with respect to the seat surface portion 110 at the rear end of the seat surface portion 110. The footrest portion 130 is rotatably connected in the vertical direction at the front end of the seat surface portion 110.
[0024] The frame body 200 is configured by connecting two sets of frame structures 200A and 200B arranged left and right in the width direction by a connecting rod 230. In FIG. 2, since it is a side view, only one set of frame structures can be seen.
[0025] Each of the frame structures 200A and 200B is formed by joining a first member 210 and a second member 220.
[0026] The first member 210 includes a substantially horizontal grounding plate portion 211 that extends in the front-rear direction and contacts the placement surface, an elbow rest portion 212 that extends in the front-rear direction above the grounding plate portion 211, and a vertical rod portion 213 that extends in the vertical direction to connect the front end of the grounding plate portion 211 and the front end of the elbow rest portion 212, and is integrally formed in a substantially U shape in side view. As shown in FIG. 2, the elbow rest portion 212 may be formed to be inclined obliquely rearward.
[0027] The second member 220 includes a seat surface holding portion 221 that extends substantially horizontally in the front-rear direction at a height between the grounding plate portion 211 and the elbow rest portion 212, a vertical piece portion 222 in which a first connection portion 222a that bends upward from the front end of the seat surface holding portion 221 and is fixed to the vertical rod portion 213 is formed, and a rear piece portion 223 in which a second connection portion 223a that bends obliquely rearward from the rear end of the seat surface holding portion 221 and is fixed to the elbow rest portion 212 is formed. In FIG. 2, the vertical piece portion 222 bends upward, but it may bend downward.
[0028] The first member 210 and the second member 220 are connected at two locations, namely, the first connection portion 222a and the second connection portion 223a. The first connection portion 222a is formed at a position substantially at the upper end of the vertical rod portion 213 in the first member 210 and at a position substantially at the upper end of the vertical piece portion 222 in the second member 220. The second connection portion 223a is formed at a position substantially at the rear end of the elbow rest portion 212 in the first member 210 and at a position substantially at the rear end of the rear piece portion 223 in the second member 220. That is, as shown in FIG. 2, the second member 220 is abutted from behind the first member 210 and is connected at the first connection portion 222a and the second connection portion 223a using fastening means. By manufacturing two of these, two sets of frame structures 200A and 200B are formed.
[0029] By connecting the frame structures 200A and 200B formed in this way with the connecting rod 230, the frame body 200 is formed. As shown in FIG. 2, the connecting rod 230 is arranged to connect two positions, namely, the position of the substantially rear end of the grounding plate portion 211 of the first member 210 and the position of the substantially middle of the vertical rod portion 213, in each of the frame structures 200A and 200B. Each connecting rod 230 is connected to the first member 210 by well-known fastening means. In this embodiment, the connecting rod 230 is arranged only at the above two positions and is not arranged at other positions. In particular, it is not arranged at the elbow rest portion 212 of the first member 210 and the rear piece portion 223 of the second member 220 because it would interfere with the reclining function, and is arranged at the grounding plate portion 211 and the vertical rod portion 213 that do not interfere with the reclining function.
[0030] The fixing of the chair body 100 to the frame structures 200A and 200B of the chair body 100 is performed by connecting the chair body 100 to the first chair support portion 213a in the vertical rod portion 213 of the first member 210 and the second chair support portion 221a in the seat surface holding portion 221 of the second member 220 using fastening means. That is, in the internal frame 140 of the chair body 100, a location where the fastening means can be connected is provided at positions corresponding to the first chair support portion 213a and the second chair support portion 221a, and the frame structures 200A and 200B are fixed using the fastening means at this location. Note that the seat surface portion 110 of the chair body 100 is connected to both the first chair support portion 213a and the second chair support portion 221a.
[0031] When connecting the chair body 100 to the frame structures 200A and 200B, if the position of the first chair support portion 213a is set directly above the position where the connecting rod 230 on the vertical rod portion 213 is arranged so that the chair body 100 abuts on the connecting rod 230 arranged on the vertical rod portion 213, particularly so that the seat surface portion 110 of the chair body 100 abuts, the chair body 100 can be supported by the connecting rod 230, so it is preferable because the stability is further improved.
[0032] According to the relaxation chair 1 configured as described above, since the connecting rod 230 that connects the left and right frame structures 200A and 200B is disposed on the grounding plate portion 211 and the vertical rod portion 213, it does not prevent the backrest portion 120 of the chair body 100 from rotating in the front-rear direction, and the reclining function of the chair body 100 can be obtained.
[0033] At this time, the first member 210 formed in a substantially U-shape in side view is integrally formed of a wooden material and does not have joints or connection parts, so that a member that makes use of the rigidity and ductility of the material can be formed. Further, since the member that connects the armrest portion 212 and the grounding plate portion 211, both of which extend in the front-rear direction, in the vertical direction is only the vertical rod portion 213 at the front end, when a user sits on the relaxation chair 1 according to the present embodiment, the back sinks slightly downward due to the bending of the material forming the first member 210. In this way, a rocking function that makes use of the bending of the material can be obtained.
[0034] Moreover, although forming the frame body 200 only with the first member 210 that is substantially U-shaped in side view is inferior in strength, since the second member 220 functions as a reinforcing member by connecting the vertical rod portion 213 and the armrest portion 212, it is possible to maintain the strength while achieving both the reclining function and the rocking function.
[0035] Furthermore, since the frame body 200 is provided with chair support portions (the first chair support portion 213a and the second chair support portion 221a) that support the chair body 100 on the first member 210 and the second member 220, the weight of the user can be dispersed to the first member 210 and the second member 220, and the strength can be ensured while maintaining the reclining function and the rocking function.
[0036] And, since the connecting rod 230 on the vertical rod portion 213 is provided directly below the first chair support portion 213a so as to contact the chair body 100, the weight of the chair body 100 and the user can be supported by the connecting rod 230 disposed on the vertical rod portion 213. Therefore, sufficient strength can be obtained by utilizing the rigidity of the vertical rod portion 213 itself.
[0037] Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described above, the present invention is not limited to these described embodiments. Also, the effects described in the embodiments of the present invention are merely a list of the most preferable effects resulting from the present invention, and the effects according to the present invention are not limited to those described in the embodiments of the present invention.
[0038] In addition, the above-described embodiments have been described in detail for the purpose of explaining the present invention clearly, and are not necessarily limited to those having all the configurations described.
