[0019] FIG. 1 is a front view showing one form of a fence configured using a fence mounting member according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is an enlarged view showing the mounting state of a fence mounting member according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 3 is a view showing the base of a fence mounting member according to an embodiment of the present invention, where (a) is a plan view and (b) is a side view, FIG. 4 is a view showing the fixing part of a fence mounting member according to an embodiment of the present invention, where (a) is a plan view and (b) is a side view, and FIG. 5 is a perspective view for explaining the mounting method of a fence mounting member according to an embodiment of the present invention.
[0020] As shown in FIG. 1, the fence mounting member 10 according to the present embodiment is a member that connects adjacent fence members 2 to each other when the fence members 2 are continuously installed along columns 1 erected at predetermined intervals.
[0021] As an example, the column 1 is made of a round pipe-shaped steel pipe, and the lower end is buried in a foundation such as mortar and erected on the ground. In addition, a plurality of columns 1 are installed at predetermined intervals along the site boundary. Note that the column 1 is not limited to a round pipe-shaped steel pipe, and may be a pipe having a polygonal cross-sectional shape, or may be made of a metal such as a stainless alloy or an aluminum alloy. Also, the method of erecting the column 1 is not limited to burying it in a foundation such as mortar, and it may be erected by a conventionally well-known method such as directly driving the column 1 into the ground surface or installing a base plate on a concrete surface or the like and then erecting it.
[0022] The fence member 2 includes a fence surface 5 formed by joining a plurality of vertical wires 3 and a plurality of horizontal wires 4 to each other in a lattice pattern, and a body edge 6 disposed at the upper end of the fence surface 5. The body edge 6 is integrally formed with the fence surface 5. As shown in FIG. 2, after joining the vertical wires 3 and the horizontal wires 4 in a lattice pattern, the upper end of the fence surface 5 is bent into a substantially circular shape to form a cylindrical shape. Note that the shape of the body edge 6 is not limited to a cylindrical shape and may be appropriately set. For example, it may have a rectangular shape or the like. Also, although the case where the body edge 6 is formed at the upper end of the fence surface 5 has been described, the body edge 6 may be formed at the lower end of the fence surface 5. Further, in FIG. 2, an example is shown in which the horizontal wire 4 is joined to the inner peripheral side of the circular circumferential portion, but it may be joined to the outer peripheral side of the circumferential portion.
[0023] As an example, the vertical wire 3 and the horizontal wire 4 are made of iron wires, and the respective intersections arranged in a lattice pattern are joined by welding. Note that it is preferable to apply zinc plating or electrostatic powder coating using a polyester resin as a base paint to the vertical wire 3 and the horizontal wire 4 in order to prevent corrosion due to rust or the like.
[0024] As shown in FIG. 2, the fence mounting member 10 according to the present embodiment connects adjacent fence members 2 by sandwiching the horizontal wire 4 at the end of the adjacent fence members 2 by a base portion 11 disposed on the inner peripheral side of the barrel edge 6 and a fixing portion 20 disposed on the outer peripheral side of the barrel edge 6.
[0025] As shown in FIG. 3, the base portion 11 constituting the fence mounting member 10 according to the present embodiment includes a plate-shaped base body 12 and horizontal wire engaging portions 14 formed at the four corners of the base body 12. In the base body 12, engaged portions 13, which are a pair of rectangular through holes along the longitudinal direction, are formed.
[0026] The horizontal wire engaging portion 14 is formed along the longitudinal direction (the extending direction of the horizontal wire 4) at the edge of the base body 12, and a stopper portion 15 is formed at a substantially central portion of the horizontal wire engaging portion 14. The horizontal wire engaging portion 14 is formed such that the end portion of the horizontal wire 4 can be assembled, and positioning can be performed by the front end surface of the horizontal wire 4 coming into contact with the stopper portion 15.
[0027] As shown in FIG. 4, the fixing portion 20 includes a flat plate-shaped fixing portion base 21, an engaging protrusion 22 protruding from a substantially central portion of the fixing portion base 21, and a pressing portion 23 formed along the longitudinal direction at an edge in the short direction (a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the base portion 11) of the fixing portion base 21.
[0028] The engaging protrusion 22 includes a pair of first engaging protrusions 22a facing each other along the extending direction of the horizontal wire 4 and a pair of second engaging protrusions 22b facing each other along the arrangement direction of the horizontal wires 4. The first engaging protrusion 22a and the second engaging protrusion 22b have the same shape as each other, and include an engaging protrusion base 24 standing upright from the fixing portion base 21 and a flange portion 25 extending substantially perpendicular to the standing direction of the engaging protrusion base 24 from the tip of the engaging protrusion base 24. Note that the respective flange portions 25 in the engaging protrusion 22 are formed to protrude in a direction away from each other.
[0029] When the engaging projection base portion 24 assembles the fixing portion 20 to the base portion 11, it is configured to be able to bend inward as the slope 26 of the flange portion 25 and one side of the engaged portion 13 come into sliding contact. Further, the flange portion 25 is formed with a slope 26 that can be in sliding contact with the side portion of the engaged portion 13 so that the engaging projection 22 can be smoothly inserted into the engaged portion 13. The slopes 26 formed on the respective flange portions 25 are each formed so as to spread from the tip of the engaging projection 22 toward the fixing portion base 21, and the lower end of the flange portion 25 is formed to be engageable with each side portion of the engaged portion 13.
[0030] The pressing portion 23 is formed to stand upright from the end of the fixing portion base 21 in the protruding direction of the engaging projection 22, and is formed to face the horizontal wire engaging portion 14 of the base portion 11 when assembled to the base portion 11. Note that the pressing portion 23 holds the horizontal wire 4 assembled to the horizontal wire engaging portion 14 when assembled to the base portion 11.
[0031] In addition, it is preferable that the above-described base portion 11 and fixing portion 20 are formed of a synthetic resin. As the synthetic resin, various conventionally known synthetic resins can be used. For example, ASA (Acrylate Styrene Acrylonitrile) resin, PC (Poly Carbonate) resin, etc. are preferably used. By configuring using a synthetic resin, it becomes possible to easily configure complex shapes such as the horizontal wire engaging portion 14 and the engaging projection 22. Further, since the engaging projection base portion 24 easily bends, it becomes possible to smoothly insert the engaging projection 22 when assembling the base portion 11 and the fixing portion 20 described later. In addition, the base portion 11 and the fixing portion 20 are not limited to being formed of a synthetic resin, and may be formed of other materials such as metal.
[0032] Next, with reference to FIG. 5, a method for connecting fence members using the fence attachment member 10 according to the present embodiment will be described.
[0033] First, as shown in FIG. 5, the base portion 11 is disposed on the inner peripheral side of the body edge 6 so as to straddle the vertical wire members 3 at the adjacent ends of the adjacent fence members 2. At this time, the horizontal wire member 4 of the body edge 6 of the fence member 2 adjacent to the horizontal wire member engaging portion 14 formed on the base portion 11 is assembled, and the tip surface of the horizontal wire member 4 is brought into contact with the stopper portion 15 for positioning.
[0034] Thereafter, the fixing portion 20 is assembled to the base portion 11 from the outer peripheral side of the body edge 6. At this time, the engaging protrusions 22 formed on the fixing portion 20 are respectively inserted into the engaged portions 13. Further, the pressing portion 23 of the fixing portion 20 cooperates with the horizontal wire member engaging portion 14 of the base portion 11 to hold the horizontal wire member 4.
[0035] The assembly of the fixing portion 20 to the base portion 11 is such that the inclined surface 26 of the flange portion 25 formed at the tip of the engaging protrusion 22 of the fixing portion 20 is in sliding contact with each side of the engaged portion 13, causing the base portion of the engaging protrusion 24 to be deflected in a direction in which the tip portions thereof approach each other, and the lower end of the flange portion 25 protruding to the back surface of the base body 12 and the edge of the engaged portion 13 and the flange portion 25 being engaged to fix the fixing portion 20 to the base portion 11. At this time, the engaged portion 13 is formed in a rectangular shape, and the engaging protrusion 22 has a first engaging protrusion 22a and a second engaging protrusion 22b formed at positions corresponding to the respective sides of the rectangular shape. Therefore, in the extending direction and the arrangement direction of the horizontal wire member 4, the first engaging protrusion 22a and the second engaging protrusion 22b and the engaged portion 13 are engaged to be fixed, and in the extending direction of the vertical wire member 3, the flange portion 25 of the engaging protrusion 22 and the edge of the engaged portion 13 are engaged to be fixed.
[0036] Thus, according to the fence mounting member 10 according to the present embodiment, the adjacent fence members 2 can be connected without performing bolt fastening, so that the connection work can be easily performed. Further, since there is no need to perform bolt fastening and there is no bolt loss, it is possible to achieve cost reduction by reducing bolts.
[0037] Moreover, according to the fence mounting member 10 according to the present embodiment, when the base portion 11 is temporarily placed inside the barrel edge 6, it is possible to position by bringing the stopper portion 15 into contact with the tip end portion of the horizontal wire 4, and it becomes possible to easily hold the base portion 11 inside the barrel edge 6 during the connecting operation.
[0038] In addition, in the fence mounting member 10 according to the present embodiment, the case where the engaged portion 13 is formed in a rectangular shape and the engaging protrusion 22 is arranged so as to correspond to each side of the rectangular shape has been described. However, the engaged portion 13 may be formed in a circular shape and the engaging protrusion 22 may be formed in an arc shape. It is clear from the description of the claims that a form in which such a change or improvement is made can also be included in the technical scope of the present invention.
