Summary of the Invention

Problems to be Solved by the Invention

[0006] However, in the conventional mounting member for a fence, as described above, bolts 103 are used to fix the first fitting 101 and the second fitting 102. However, the bolts 103 are small bolts of about M6, and there is a problem that the construction work of bolt fastening is complicated. In addition, since such small bolts are used, the loss of bolts frequently occurs, and there is also a problem that the operator feels stress in the construction work.

[0007] In addition, the first fitting 101 and the second fitting 102 are formed by bending a metal plate by sheet metal working, and there is a problem that it is difficult to hold them on the fence surface when fastening the bolts 103.

[0008] Furthermore, there is also a problem that it is difficult to achieve cost reduction by using the bolts 103. In addition, spare bolts are delivered in excess in consideration of bolt loss, which is also a contributing factor to the difficulty of cost reduction.

[0009] Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of the above matters, and an object of the present invention is to provide a mounting member for a fence that can easily perform the connection work between adjacent fence members, can prevent bolt loss caused by using bolts, and can achieve cost reduction.

[0018] Hereinafter, preferred embodiments for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Note that the following embodiments do not limit the invention according to each claim, and not all combinations of features described in the embodiments are essential for the solution means of the invention.

[0019] FIG. 1 is a front view showing one form of a fence configured using a mounting member for a fence according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is an enlarged view showing the mounting state of the mounting member for a fence according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 3 is a view showing a first mounting member of the mounting member for a fence according to an embodiment of the present invention, (a) is a plan view, and (b) is a front view, FIG. 4 is a view showing a second mounting member of the mounting member for a fence according to an embodiment of the present invention, (a) is a plan view, (b) is a side view, and (c) is a front view, FIG. 5 is a perspective view for explaining a method of attaching the mounting member for a fence according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 6 is a perspective view for explaining a method of attaching the mounting member for a fence according to an embodiment of the present invention.

[0020] As shown in FIG. 1, the fence mounting member 10 according to the present embodiment is a member that connects adjacent fence members 2 to each other when the fence member 2 is continuously installed along the columns 1 erected at predetermined intervals.

[0021] As an example, the column 1 is made of a round pipe-shaped steel pipe, and the lower end is buried in a foundation such as mortar and erected on the ground. Further, a plurality of columns 1 are installed at predetermined intervals along the site boundary. Note that the column 1 is not limited to a round pipe-shaped steel pipe, and may be a pipe having a polygonal cross-sectional shape, or may be made of a metal such as a stainless alloy or an aluminum alloy. Also, the method of erecting the column 1 is not limited to burying it in a foundation such as mortar, and it may be erected by a conventionally well-known method such as directly driving the column 1 into the ground surface or erecting it by installing a base plate on a concrete surface or the like.

[0022] The fence member 2 includes a fence surface 5 formed by joining a plurality of vertical members 3 and a plurality of horizontal members 4 to each other in a lattice pattern, and a body edge 6 disposed at the upper end portion of the fence surface 5. The body edge 6 is integrally formed with the fence surface 5. After joining the vertical members 3 and the horizontal members 4 in a lattice pattern, the upper end portion of the fence surface 5 is bent into a substantially circular shape to form a cylindrical shape. Note that the shape of the body edge 6 is not limited to a cylindrical shape and may be appropriately set. For example, it may have a shape such as a rectangle. Further, although the case where the body edge 6 is formed at the upper end portion of the fence surface 5 has been described, the body edge 6 may be formed at the lower end portion of the fence surface 5. Note that the horizontal member 4 may be joined to the inner peripheral side of the circular circumferential portion, or may be joined to the outer peripheral side of the circumferential portion.

[0023] As an example, the vertical member 3 and the horizontal member 4 are made of wire rods, and respective intersections arranged in a lattice pattern are joined by welding. Note that it is preferable that the vertical member 3 and the horizontal member 4 are subjected to zinc plating, electrostatic powder coating using a polyester resin as a base paint, or the like in order to prevent corrosion due to rust or the like.

[0024] As shown in FIG. 2, the fence mounting member 10 according to the present embodiment connects the middle portion of the fence surface 5, and connects adjacent fence members 2 by a first mounting member 11 assembled to the vertical member 3 on the adjacent end side of one of the adjacent fence members 2 and a second mounting member 20 assembled to the vertical member 3 on the adjacent end side of the other fence member 2.

[0025] As shown in FIG. 3, the first mounting member 11 constituting the fence mounting member 10 according to the present embodiment is a member formed in a substantially U shape, and has a pair of first wall portions 13 arranged at a predetermined interval and a vertical member engaging portion 12 that connects one ends of the pair of first wall portions 13 in an arc shape. The vertical member engaging portion 12 has a substantially cylindrical shape capable of engaging with the vertical member 3, and extends along the extending direction of the vertical member 3. Further, the vertical member engaging portion 12 communicates with the space between the pair of first wall portions 13.

[0026] Further, the first wall portion 13 is a plate-shaped member extending from the vertical member engaging portion 12 in the extending direction of the horizontal member 4. An engaging hole 14 is formed at a position corresponding to a locking portion 23 of a second mounting member 20 described later on the first wall portion 13. The engaging hole 14 is formed in a rectangular shape that is long in the extending direction of the horizontal member 4. With this rectangular shape, even if there is an error in the interval between adjacent fence members 2, the error can be tolerated and the fence members 2 can be connected.

[0027] Also, the vertical interval S of the fence surface 5 of the first wall portion 13 is formed such that the second wall portion 22 of the second mounting member 20 described later can be assembled.

[0028] As shown in FIG. 4, the second mounting member 20 is a member formed in a substantially U shape similar to the first mounting member 11, and has a pair of second wall portions 22 arranged at a predetermined interval and a vertical member engaging portion 21 that connects one ends of the pair of second wall portions 22 in an arc shape. The vertical member engaging portion 21 has a substantially cylindrical shape that can engage with the vertical member 3 and extends along the extending direction of the vertical member 3. Further, the vertical member engaging portion 21 communicates with the space between the pair of second wall portions 22.

[0029] Also, the second wall portion 22 is a plate-shaped member extending from the vertical member engaging portion 21 in the extending direction of the horizontal member 4. A locking portion 23 is formed at a position corresponding to the engaging hole 14 formed in the first wall portion 13 of the second wall portion 22. The locking portion 23 has an inclined surface 24 that is inclined with respect to the extending direction of the vertical member 3.

[0030] Also, the vertical thickness T of the fence surface 5 of the pair of second wall portions 22 is formed so as to be assembled into the interval S of the first wall portion 13, and the pair of second wall portions 22 are formed so as to be engageable between the first wall portions 13 by the elastic force of the second wall portion 22 and the first wall portion 13.

[0031] Incidentally, the above-described first attachment member 11 and second attachment member 20 are preferably formed of synthetic resin. As the synthetic resin, various conventionally well-known synthetic resins can be used. For example, ASA (Acrylate Styrene Acrylonitrile) resin, PC (Poly Carbonate) resin, etc. are preferably used. By configuring using synthetic resin, it becomes possible to easily configure complex shapes such as the vertical wire engaging portions 12, 21 and the locking portion 23. Further, since the first wall portion 13 and the second wall portion 22 are easily bent, when assembling the first attachment member 11 and the second attachment member 20 described later to the vertical wire 3, the assembly work can be smoothly performed, and due to the elasticity of the synthetic resin, it becomes possible to surely engage the engaging hole 14 and the locking portion 23. Further, the first attachment member 11 and the second attachment member 20 are not limited to being formed of synthetic resin, and may be formed of other materials such as metal.

[0032] Next, with reference to FIGS. 5 and 6, a method for connecting fence members using the fence attachment member 10 according to the present embodiment will be described.

[0033] First, as shown in FIG. 5, the first attachment member 11 and the second attachment member 20 are respectively assembled to the vertical wires 3, 3 at the adjacent ends of the adjacent fence members 2, 2 that are adjacent to each other. At this time, the vertical wire 3 is inserted from the open end between the first wall portion 13 and the second wall portion 22, and the first attachment member 11 and the second attachment member 20 are inserted along the extending direction of the horizontal wire 4 so as to assemble the vertical wire engaging portions 12, 21 and the vertical wire 3.

[0034] Incidentally, since the first attachment member 11 and the second attachment member 20 are each formed of synthetic resin and have elasticity, even when the distance between the first wall portion 13 and the second wall portion 22 is smaller than the wire diameter of the vertical wire 3, the first wall portion 13 and the second wall portion 22 are bent in a direction away from each other, so that the vertical wire 3 can be engaged with the vertical wire engaging portions 12, 21.

[0035] Thereafter, as shown in FIG. 6, the first attachment member 11 and the second attachment member 20 are slid so as to be close to each other in the extending direction of the vertical member 3. At this time, since the locking portion 23 formed on the second wall portion 22 has an inclined surface 24 that inclines in the extending direction of the vertical member 3, when the inclined surface 24 slidably contacts the inner wall of the first wall portion 13, the interval S between the first wall portions 13 expands and bends, and the second wall portion 22 bends inward so that the thickness T becomes smaller, thereby enabling easy assembly.

[0036] Further, when the locking portion 23 engages with the engagement hole 14, the locking portion 23 enters the engagement hole 14, and the inner wall of the first wall portion 13 and the outer wall of the second wall portion 22 come into contact with each other. Note that the fence attachment member 10 according to the present embodiment connects the fence members 2 by the vertical member engaging portions 12 and 21 that engage with the vertical member 3, and is not held in the extending direction of the vertical member 3. However, the lower end of the fence attachment member 10 according to the present embodiment contacts the horizontal member 4, thereby positioning in the extending direction of the vertical member 3.

[0037] As described above, according to the fence attachment member 10 according to the present embodiment, adjacent fence members 2 can be connected without bolt fastening, so that the connection work can be easily performed. Further, since there is no need for bolt fastening and there is no bolt loss, cost reduction by bolt reduction can be achieved.

[0038] Further, according to the fence attachment member 10 according to the present embodiment, the first attachment member 11 and the second attachment member 20 are respectively assembled to the vertical member 3, and these are slid relative to each other in the extending direction of the vertical member 3, so that assembly can be performed. Therefore, it is possible to easily hold the first attachment member 11 and the second attachment member 20 on the vertical member 3 during the connection work.

[0039] In addition, in the fence mounting member 10 according to the present embodiment, the case where a pair of engaging holes 14 and locking portions 23 are formed for the first wall portion 13 and the second wall portion 22, respectively, has been described. However, if the numbers of the engaging holes 14 and the locking portions 23 are the same, the number thereof may be appropriately increased. It is apparent from the description of the claims that a form in which such a change or improvement is made may also be included in the technical scope of the present invention.
