Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to lighting devices such as penlights and stick lights mainly used by spectators and participants at concerts and various events (collectively referred to as "events" in this specification), and are referred to as "lighting devices for events" in this specification. The "lighting devices for events" in the present invention refers to all such lighting devices.)
Background Art
[0002] One of the features of recent events is that spectators use lighting devices for events to participate in the event and liven up or enjoy the event with the performers. For example, at an event of an idol group with multiple members, when the member that the spectator (event participant) supports appears on stage, the spectator lights up the lighting device for the event in the member's image color to show support.)
[0003] Lighting devices for events have also become established as event goods or goods of the artists or idols that one supports, and various types are sold, such as those with the name of the artist written on them or with a specific design applied. For example, in the case of an idol group, different types of lighting devices for events for supporting each of the constituent members are often sold. Also, for example, even for the same artist, it has generally become common for new lighting devices for events to be sold for each event.)
[0004] Due to the above points, various designs have been applied to recent lighting devices for events.)
[0005] Furthermore, users of lighting devices for events themselves also modify the appearance of the lighting devices for events to suit their preferences and apply unique decorations (customizations).)
[0006] On the one hand, there are limitations derived from safety in the light-emitting device for events. The light-emitting device for events generally consists of a handle part (grip part) having a light source such as an LED, and a light-emitting part that collects, transmits, and emits light from the light source. The light-emitting part is usually made of a resin that is lightweight, not easily damaged, and suitable for allowing light from the light source to pass through easily. The main light emission is obtained on the side surface of the light-emitting part.
[0007] Since this light-emitting part is attached to the handle part so as to cover the light source, when the light source is an LED provided in the handle part, strong light is emitted toward the upper end side of the light-emitting part. Therefore, there is a risk of hurting the eyes when directly looking at the strong light transmitted from the upper end of the resin light-emitting part. To avoid such a risk, it has been proposed to configure a cylindrical body part with a translucent plastic, glass, etc., and fix a head part formed using a metal piece such as aluminum for shielding the light emitted from the light source at the front end of this body part (Patent Document 1: Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2013-247085, especially paragraphs
[0011]
[0016]
[0031]
[0032]
[0050] , Figure 8, etc.).
[0008] In the invention of Patent Document 1, due to the structure, the light from the front end of the body part is either completely blocked or only a small amount of light passes through a cutout part arbitrarily provided in the head part (
[0039]
[0040] ). Since only the side surface of the light-emitting part emits light and the top surface does not emit light, not only does the darkness of the top surface (represented in black) become prominent, but also sufficient light emission cannot be obtained from the tip side of the top surface, resulting in limited expression by light emission. Moreover, in Patent Document 1, since a metal head part that basically has no translucency is fixed to the front end of the body part, the design that can be applied to the tip (top surface) of the light-emitting part is extremely limited. The user of the light-emitting device for events cannot customize the design of this part according to their own preferences.
[0009] Therefore, the light-emitting parts of many current light-emitting devices for events are manufactured by blow molding resin. According to this method, the entire light-emitting part, including the side surface and the top surface, is composed of (integrally formed by) a single (integrated) resin. The top surface (upper end) of the light-emitting part is closed, and the lower end is open. When a transparent resin is used as the raw material for the light-emitting part, a sheet covering the side surface and the top surface side is inserted inside the light-emitting part (as an example, Patent Document 2 = Japanese Patent No. 6204625). When the light-emitting part is configured in this way, it is possible to obtain light emitted from the light source and passing through the tip side of the light-emitting part from the entire tip surface through the sheet arranged at the tip. In addition, (different from the case of using a metal piece such as aluminum), since the design applied to the sheet can also be visually recognized on the top surface, it is possible for the user to customize the design on both the side surface and the top surface of the light-emitting part.
[0010] By the way, when creating the light-emitting part by blow molding resin, air hole marks and connection part marks (so-called partition lines) remain on the top surface of the light-emitting part. Such marks are inevitable due to the blow molding of resin products and have not been regarded as a problem in the industry so far.
[0011] However, recently, in the development process for utilizing a new design on the top surface of the light-emitting part, it has been found that the above-mentioned marks remaining on the top surface can become an obstacle to the design.
[0012] In response to this, the inventor tried to make various improvements in the process of blow molding the light-emitting part. However, in the molding that closes the top surface, it is impossible to provide a place for air to escape due to its nature, and the shape of the top surface and the inner shape of the top surface are likely to be non-uniform. Therefore, it was difficult to avoid the above-mentioned marks by the improvements in this process.

Modes for Carrying Out the Invention
[0025] Hereinafter, embodiments according to the present invention will be specifically described with reference to the drawings.
[0026] (Example) An example of the light-emitting device for events according to the present invention is shown in FIGS. 1 to 4. FIG. 1 is a perspective view (viewed obliquely from above) of an example of the light-emitting device for events of the present invention, FIG. 2 is a view showing a state in which a part (a top surface member described later) of the light-emitting device for events of FIG. 1 is removed, FIG. 3 is a view showing a state in which a sheet (described later) is removed from the state of FIG. 2, and FIG. 4 is a view (plan view) represented from the upper surface side and a view (front view) represented from the front of the light-emitting device for events of FIG. 3 from which the sheet has been removed. Here, although an example in which a sheet is used for the light-emitting device for events (the sheet is inserted inside the light-emitting part) will be described, it is also possible not to use a sheet (the present invention can also be applied to a conventional light-emitting device for events having a configuration without using a sheet).
[0027] The light-emitting device (1) for events of the present invention has a light-emitting part (2) and a gripping part (4) to which the lower end side (3) of this light-emitting part is connected. The lower end side (3) of the light-emitting part and the gripping part (4) can be configured to be detachable by the user, for example, by a screw-type configuration, or they can be fixed to each other in the manufacturing process so that the user cannot detach them.
[0028] The gripping part (4) is provided with a light source (18) and a power source inside. When the user operates a switch (5) provided on the gripping part to turn on the power source, the light source (18) emits light and the light-emitting part (6) emits light. As with the prior art, an LED or the like can be used as the light source. As with the prior art, a dry battery, a button battery, a lithium-ion battery, or the like can be used as the power source. Regarding the arrangement of the light-emitting part, the light source, and the power source, known ones can be adopted (for example, refer to FIG. 1 of JP-A-2023-157609).
[0029] The light-emitting part (2) of the present invention has a cylindrical light-emitting part main body (6) with upper and lower ends penetrating therethrough, and a top surface member (7) configured as a member separate from the light-emitting part main body and attached to the upper end of the light-emitting part main body. In the case of a conventional light-emitting part in which a cylindrical part (corresponding to the light-emitting part main body of the present invention) and a top surface part (corresponding to the top surface member of the present invention) are integrally formed by blow molding, due to the nature of blow molding, air hole marks (20) and connection part marks (so-called partition lines) (21) as shown in FIG. 11 remain on the top surface. On the other hand, according to the configuration of the present invention, since the top surface member (7) is separately manufactured, it is possible to make the top surface free of air hole marks and connection part marks.
[0030] The light-emitting part main body (6) and the top surface member (7) are each formed of a resin that is transparent, has light-transmitting properties, or a combination thereof. The top surface (19) of the top surface member (7) is entirely formed of a resin that is transparent, has light-transmitting properties, or a combination thereof.
[0031] In this embodiment, the light-emitting part main body and the top surface member are colorless and transparent. In such a case, a light-transmitting (usually not transparent) sheet (8, 9) prepared separately is arranged inside them. Instead of making the light-emitting part main body and the top surface member colorless and transparent, the light-emitting part main body itself or the top surface member itself may be configured to have cloudiness (so-called smoke) or be designed. FIGS. 1 to 4 show the case where the light-emitting part main body and the top surface member are colorless and transparent and a light-transmitting (not transparent) sheet is used. By arranging such a sheet (8, 9) inside the light-emitting part (2), it is possible to suppress unevenness in light emission in the light-emitting part and prevent the light from the light source from transmitting through the colorless and transparent light-emitting part (especially the top surface side) and hurting the eyes.
[0032] Also, in the above case, without directly printing a design on the light-emitting unit main body, etc., by applying a desired design, etc. to the sheets (8, 9), event light-emitting devices with various designs can be created. Further, if the sheets (8, 9) arranged inside the light-emitting unit (2) are replaced with sheets of different designs, event light-emitting devices with different designs can be obtained without changing the design of the light-emitting unit itself. In the present invention, by configuring the top surface member to be detachable as described later, it becomes possible to further enhance the convenience for users in this regard.
[0033] Note that the sheet arranged inside the light-emitting unit main body (6) is rectangular (see Fig. 3), trapezoidal, etc., and is arranged inside the light-emitting unit main body by rounding it. The sheet (8) arranged on the top surface member (7) has the shape of the inside of the top surface member (here, circular) and is arranged inside the top surface member. The sheet arranged on the light-emitting unit main body (6) and the sheet (8) arranged on the top surface member (7) can be separate as shown in Fig. 3, or can be a single sheet in a state where the sheet (8) and the sheet (9) are connected.
[0034] The top surface member (7) can also be configured to be detachably engaged or fitted to the light emitting unit main body (6). An example of this configuration (an example of fitting) is shown in FIGS. 5 and 6. Note that FIGS. 6 to 8 omit some illustrations (such as the coupling portion (17) shown in FIG. 9) for convenience of explanation. In the examples of FIGS. 5 and 6, the diameter of the circular opening (see FIGS. 2 and 3) formed by the upper end (10) of the light emitting unit main body (6) is made slightly smaller than the diameter around the side portion (11) of the cylindrical light emitting unit main body (6), and the upper end (10) of the light emitting unit main body (6) is configured to be located inside the side portion (11) of the light emitting unit main body (6). The top surface member (7) is configured to fit onto the upper end (10) of the light emitting unit main body (6). Here, as shown in FIG. 5, a side wall (12) that extends downward is provided in the top surface member (7), and the diameter of the circular portion formed by this side wall (12) is made slightly larger than the diameter of the circular opening formed by the upper end (10) of the light emitting unit main body (6), and engaging portions (13, 14) on the unevenness are provided on the outer side (the coupling portion (17) shown in FIG. 9) near the upper end (10) and inside the side wall (12) so that the side wall (12) is retained by the upper end (10).
[0035] Note that in this specification, the "top surface" does not refer only to the outer upper surface of the top surface member (7), but as shown by the dashed line in FIG. 10, refers to the portion other than the side wall (12) of the top surface member (7) (the entire portion indicated by reference numeral 19 located inside the two dashed lines).
[0036] As another example of the detachable configuration (an example of engagement), for example, the top surface member may be configured to be screwed to the upper part of the light emitting unit main body.
[0037] If the top surface member is configured to be detachably fitted or engaged with the light emitting unit main body, the top surface member can be configured such that there are no air hole marks or connection part marks. Therefore, the design applied to the upper surface side of the sheet (8) arranged on the top surface and the design applied to the top surface member (7) itself can be clearly visible without being obstructed by air hole marks or the like. Moreover, the user of the light emitting device for events can himself / herself remove the top surface member from the light emitting unit main body, take out the sheet arranged inside the light emitting unit from the opening at the upper end of the light emitting unit main body, insert another sheet inside the light emitting unit from there and arrange it, that is, it becomes possible to replace the sheet through the opening at the upper end of the light emitting unit main body. Conventionally, when the lower end of the light emitting unit is configured to be non-removable from the gripping part, the user could not replace the sheet. Also, when the light emitting unit is configured to be removable from the gripping part, even if the sheet is to be replaced, it is necessary to remove the light emitting unit from the gripping part, and since the lower end of the light emitting unit is firmly connected to the gripping part, the opening becomes relatively narrow, so it was not always easy to replace the sheet. According to the present invention, the sheet can be replaced regardless of whether the light emitting unit can be removed from the gripping part or not. Further, since the diameter of the opening at the upper end of the light emitting unit main body can be configured to be wider than the diameter of the opening at the lower end, even when the light emitting unit can be removed from the gripping part, it becomes possible to make the replacement of the sheet much easier than before.
[0038] The light emitting unit (2) is attached to the gripping part (4) so as to cover the light source. Thereby, the light emitted from the light source enters from the lower end side of the open light emitting unit, transmits from the inside to the outside of the light emitting unit (2), and the light emitting unit (2) emits light not only from the light emitting unit main body but also on the top surface (the circular part where the top surface member, particularly the sheet (8) is attached).
[0039] Here, the light emitting unit has been described by taking a cylindrical shape, which is a typical shape of the light emitting device for events, as an example, but this shape does not necessarily have to be a cylindrical shape.
[0040] By the way, in a conventional lighting fixture, it may not be easy to arrange a sheet attached inside the light-emitting part without any gaps on the top surface side, and a gap may occur between the sheet (a part thereof) and the inner side of the top surface, or the sheet arranged on the top surface side and the upper part of the sheet arranged on the side surface side may not match and some misalignment or displacement may occur.
[0041] According to the present invention, it is possible to make the shape and size of the sheet arranged on the top surface side correspond to or be substantially the same as the shape and size inside the top surface member, arrange the sheet inside the top surface member, and configure the top surface member to be engaged or fitted to the upper end of the light-emitting part main body. Therefore, it is possible to achieve the purpose of preventing a gap from occurring between the sheet (a part thereof) and the inner side of the top surface, or the sheet arranged on the top surface side and the upper part of the sheet arranged on the side surface side not matching and misalignment or displacement occurring. Note that making the shape and size of the sheet arranged on the top surface side correspond to the shape and size inside the top surface member means that even if the two (the shape and size of the sheet arranged on the top surface side and the shape and size inside the top surface member) do not completely match, the shape and size of the sheet arranged on the top surface side are set to such an extent that the above object can be achieved.
[0042] That is, as shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, when engaged or fitted, a sheet (8) is sandwiched between the upper end (10) of the light-emitting part main body (6) and the inner side (15) of the top surface member (7), and the sheet (8) is pressed by both of them (the upper end of the light-emitting part main body and the inner side of the top surface member). In other words, when the top surface member (7) is engaged or fitted to the light-emitting part main body (6), the sheet (8) can be crimped to the inner side (15) of the top surface member by the upper end (10) of the light-emitting part main body. Crimping means that the sheet (8) is supported by the upper end (10) of the light-emitting part main body and further pressed against the inner side (15) of the top surface member. Note that the crimping itself does not apply a force such that the sheet (8) in contact with the inner side (15) of the top surface member (7) will not peel off from the top surface member (7) when the top surface member (7) is removed from the light-emitting part main body (6), but the sheet (8) may be given a certain adhesiveness so that the sheet (8) can be detachably attached to the inner side (15) of the top surface member. Also, the crimping does not have to be strong. By configuring as described above, it is possible to avoid the position of the top surface side sheet (8) becoming unstable and undetermined, or a gap occurring between the top surface side sheet and the top surface, resulting in light leakage or uneven light emission. In FIG. 8, since the state of the sheet is shown when viewed from the side, the sheet (8) is represented flat, but the portion of the sheet (8) sandwiched between the upper end (10) and the inner side (15) of the top surface member can be crimped.
[0043] When inserting a sheet inside the light-emitting part, the upper ends of the top surface sheet and the side surface sheet do not necessarily match without a gap, and a gap may occur between them. As shown in the examples in FIGS. 5 and 6, when the diameter of the circular opening formed by the upper end (10) of the light-emitting part main body (6) is made slightly smaller than the diameter around the side part (11) of the light-emitting part main body (6), and the upper end (10) of the light-emitting part main body (6) is configured to be located inside the diameter around the side part (11) of the light-emitting part main body (6), this is remarkable (but not limited to this case). When using a sheet in an event light-emitting device, usually, both the top surface member and the light-emitting part main body are made of transparent resin, so a gap may occur between the top surface sheet (8) and the upper end of the side surface sheet (9), and light leaks from this gap, but there is no colored light emission (visual recognition by the emission color is not possible). As a means of also causing colored light emission in this gap part, at least a part of the side wall (12) (the part that couples to the upper end of the light-emitting part main body) of the top surface member (7) can be made colored. The coloring here is for making it so that although light passes through when it is colorless and transparent, it is not visually recognized, and it can be visually recognized while light passes through. The coloring can also be configured to include clouding (to be semi-transparent).
[0044] When the top surface member is configured to be detachably fitted or engaged with the light-emitting part main body, it is conceivable that this fitting or engagement may be unintentionally released during the use of the event light-emitting device or the like. Also, when mass-producing products with resin, it is practically difficult for all products to exactly match the product specifications, and it is not impossible for products with a weak fitting to occur.
[0045] Therefore, in order to ensure (make more certain) the above-mentioned fitting and engagement, a coupling auxiliary member may be configured to be attached to the location where the upper end of the top surface member and the light-emitting unit main body are fitted or engaged. The coupling auxiliary member can be composed of, for example, a tape mainly made of acrylic resin. The tape can have adhesiveness on one side or adhesiveness on both sides. It is also possible to use a known double-sided tape or the like as the coupling auxiliary member. An example of using the coupling auxiliary member is shown in FIG. 9. In this example, the coupling auxiliary member is composed of a tape (16) with adhesiveness on both sides, which is wound around and attached to the coupling portion (17) at the upper end of the light-emitting unit main body (6) to fit the top surface member (7). According to this, the top surface member fitted to the upper end of the light-emitting unit main body is more firmly bonded to the upper end of the light-emitting unit main body by the adhesive force of the tape (16) (however, to the extent that it can be intentionally removed by the user), and the risk of unintentional detachment can be significantly reduced. Note that in FIG. 9, since the state of the sheet is shown as viewed from the side, the sheet (8) is shown flat, but the portion of the sheet (8) sandwiched between the upper end (10) and the inside (15) of the top surface member (7) can be crimped.
Industrial Applicability
[0046] According to the present invention, light emission can be obtained from the entire top surface of the light-emitting unit of the light-emitting tool for events, and marks generated in the manufacturing process of the light-emitting unit can be avoided. Therefore, the design arranged inside the top surface will be vividly presented, and the design variations will increase.
[0047] In addition, according to the present invention, by configuring the top surface member to be detachably engaged or fitted to the light-emitting unit main body, the sheet arranged inside the light-emitting unit main body can be easily replaced. This is not only convenient for users who want to change the sheet design, but also convenient for manufacturers of light-emitting tools for events to create light-emitting tools for events with different designs by changing the sheet.
[0048] Furthermore, according to the present invention, when the top surface member is engaged or fitted to the light emitting part main body, the sheet disposed inside the top surface member can be configured to be crimped inside the top surface member by the upper end of the light emitting part main body. Thereby, it is possible to prevent the position of the sheet on the top surface side from becoming unstable and fluctuating, or to prevent a gap from occurring between the sheet on the top surface side and the sheet on the side surface side, which may cause light leakage or uneven light emission.
[0049] Thus, the present invention is beneficial to users and manufacturers, and has extremely high industrial applicability.
