Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a comb that enables smooth hair parting and makes it easier to grasp the position of comb teeth or the like even when they are buried in the hair.

Background Art

[0002] Conventionally, a comb is generally used for hair styling such as combing hair with a plurality of comb teeth protruding from a backbone-shaped comb back. However, beauticians and barbers who are professional comb users also use the comb to part hair with a tapered extension extending from the comb back. Examples of such hair parting operations include forming a parting (referred to as parting) and parting a certain amount of hair bundles to be cut or permed, etc. into parts for each site (referred to as blocking).

[0003] FIG. 17(a) shows a comb K which is an example of a conventional comb. The comb K has a plurality of comb teeth K2 protruding from a comb back K1, and a tapered edge comb portion K3 (corresponding to the extension) parallel to the comb teeth K2 extends on the side that becomes one end K1a of the comb back K2.

[0004] FIG. 17(b) shows an example of a parting operation using the edge comb portion K3. At a location on the scalp T where a parting W is to be made, the tip K3a of the edge comb portion K3 is pressed against, and the finger F of the hand on the side where the comb K is not held is applied to the edge comb portion K3a, and the edge comb portion K3 is moved along the line where the parting W is to be formed, so that a predetermined amount of hair H is sequentially divided into two along the parting W on the scalp T to form a parting line.

[0005] Further, FIG. 18 shows an example of the blocking operation of separating a hair bundle from the hair H around the temporal region at the edge comb portion K3 of the comb K. In this blocking, the comb K is moved with the tip K3a of the edge comb portion K3 pressed against the scalp. The moving direction of the comb K varies depending on the target site, the parting direction, etc. For example, as shown in FIG. 18, when the comb K is moved from top to bottom (refer to the black arrow direction in the figure), when the comb K is moved from bottom to top (refer to the white arrow direction in the figure), etc. (There are of course cases where the comb K is moved from right to left or from left to right). Note that as the posture of the comb during parting or blocking, there are methods such as standing the comb vertically against the scalp and laying the comb against the scalp to make the angle with respect to the comb less than 90 degrees, and these methods are appropriately selected according to these methods, the habits and preferences of the user.

[0006] Furthermore, FIG. 19 shows an example of performing blocking with the tail K5 (corresponding to the extension portion), which is the handle (grip) portion of the comb K. When performing blocking with the tail K5, similar to the case of FIG. 18, the tip K5a of the tail K5 is pressed against the scalp, and the comb K is moved from top to bottom (refer to the black arrow direction in the figure), or the comb is moved from bottom to top (refer to the white arrow direction in the figure), etc., to separate a certain amount of hair bundle (block) from the hair H around the temporal region. Note that whether to use the edge comb portion K3 or the tail K5 of the comb K in operations such as parting and blocking is selected by each user as being more convenient according to the preferences and habits of users such as beauticians.

[0007] Also, FIGS. 18 and 19 show a type of comb called a tail comb in which a rod-shaped handle portion (tail K5) extends from the rear of the comb back K1, but there are also combs of a type without a rod-shaped handle portion (tail). Such a type of comb without a handle portion is generally called a cutting comb (sometimes called a cutting comb or a tats comb), and operations such as parting and blocking are enabled by an edge comb portion (corresponding to the extension portion) that extends in the same direction as the comb teeth from one end or the other end side of the comb back.

[0008] The following Patent Document 1 shows a comb that can be used for parting and the like. This comb is provided with a meat-stealing part on the tip side of the parting forming part (extending part) extending from the base part (comb back part) in order to widen the interval from the adjacent comb teeth 2, and the tip part of the parting forming part (extending part) is made to protrude from the tips of a plurality of comb teeth, making it easier to perform parting. Examples of combs that can be used for parting and the like are also shown in Patent Documents 2 and 3. Further, the following Patent Documents 4 and 5 disclose a comb having comb teeth with a slit-shaped recess whose tip is bifurcated.

Summary of the Invention

Problems to be Solved by the Invention

[0010] On the scalp on the movement line of a comb for performing parting or blocking, there may be pores or eruptions that protrude from the scalp. When performing operations such as parting, the tip of the extending part that is pressed against the scalp or the like may get caught on such protruding pores, etc., causing the movement of the comb to become zigzag, preventing the smooth movement of the comb and deteriorating workability.

[0011] In addition, when parting or blocking, there may be a problem that the tip of the extending portion pressing against the scalp rides up on the hair crossing the moving line of the comb, preventing the comb from moving. In particular, this problem is likely to occur when parting or blocking with the comb lying on the scalp.

[0012] Furthermore, when performing operations such as blocking, while putting the comb teeth into the separated hair bundle and styling, it may be necessary to adjust the dimensions such as the width of the hair bundle to be cut or permed. At this time, when the hair volume is large, most of the total length of the comb teeth is buried in the hair (the hair of the hair bundle), making it difficult to grasp the position of the comb teeth and making it difficult to adjust the dimensions such as the width of the hair bundle.

[0013] Note that the comb according to Patent Document 1 has a meat-stealing portion provided on the tip side of the parting formation portion (extending portion), so the tip side is thinner than a normal extending portion, and accordingly the tip side is weaker in strength, and there are strength problems when pressing the tip side against the scalp during parting or blocking. Also, assuming the case where the concave portions shown in Patent Documents 4 and 5 are applied to the tip of the extending portion for parting or blocking, since this concave portion is split into two in a slit shape, the hair enters the gap formed by the slit-shaped split and becomes a resistance or gets entangled, thus preventing parting or blocking, and it is expected that such a slit-shaped concave portion is not suitable for parting or blocking.

[0014] The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and by forming a groove in the tip range of the extending portion of a comb for performing operations such as parting or blocking the hair, it is an object of the present invention to provide a comb that can move smoothly by reducing the influence of raised hair follicles and the like during operations such as parting or blocking.

[0015] Also, it is an object of the present invention to provide a comb that can suppress the influence of raised hair follicles and the like and move smoothly to perform hair styling by forming a comb tooth groove in the tip range of the comb teeth.

[0016] Furthermore, the present invention aims to provide a comb in which, even when the comb teeth are buried in the hair, a user can easily grasp the positions of the predetermined comb teeth based on marks provided on the comb back indicating positions corresponding to the predetermined comb teeth.

Means for Solving the Problems

[0017] In order to solve the above problems, a comb according to the present invention includes a backbone-shaped comb back, a plurality of comb teeth protruding from the comb back in a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the comb back, and a tapered extension portion extending from an end side of the comb back, and in the comb configured to be able to perform an operation of parting hair at the tip of the extension portion, the extension portion is provided with a groove in a tip range on the surface side orthogonal to the width direction, and the groove is formed to extend from the tip side of the extension portion toward the comb back.

[0018] Further, the comb according to the present invention is characterized in that the extension portion is formed to extend in parallel with the direction in which the comb teeth protrude from one end side of the comb back. Furthermore, the comb according to the present invention is characterized in that the extension portion has a flat shape with the tip parallel to the longitudinal direction of the comb back, and the groove is formed such that the groove end portion is exposed on the flat tip. Furthermore, the comb according to the present invention is characterized in that the extension portion is formed to extend in parallel with the direction in which the comb teeth protrude from the other end side of the comb back.

[0019] The comb according to the present invention is characterized in that the comb back is provided with a tip mark indicating a position corresponding to the tip of the extension portion. Further, the comb according to the present invention is characterized in that the extension portion is formed to extend in a rod shape along the longitudinal direction of the comb back from the other end side of the comb back. Furthermore, the comb according to the present invention is characterized in that the rod-shaped extension portion extending from the other end side of the comb back has a flat surface at a tip portion on the surface side orthogonal to the width direction, and the groove is formed to cross the flat surface.

[0020] The comb according to the present invention is characterized in that the comb teeth are provided with comb tooth grooves in the tip range on the surface side orthogonal to the width direction, and the comb tooth grooves are formed so as to extend from the tip side of the comb teeth toward the comb back part. Further, the comb according to the present invention is characterized in that the comb back part is provided with a central mark indicating a location corresponding to the comb tooth located in the middle in the longitudinal direction of the comb back part among the plurality of comb teeth. Furthermore, the comb according to the present invention is characterized in that the comb back part is provided with a predetermined interval mark indicating a location corresponding to each comb tooth located at a predetermined interval along the longitudinal direction of the comb back part among the plurality of comb teeth.

[0021] In the present invention, since a groove is provided in the tip range of the extending part of the comb used for parting, blocking, etc., raised pores, etc. existing on the movement line of the comb for parting, blocking, etc. and hairs crossing the movement line are made to get over by the groove, and the tip of the extending part pressing against the scalp is less likely to be hindered from moving due to pores, etc. and hairs. As a result, compared with the prior art, it becomes easier to move the comb smoothly. Making it easier to move the comb smoothly in this way is not only the case when the comb is vertically stood on the scalp, but also when the comb is laid on the scalp for parting or blocking. The groove formed to extend on the surface side of the extending part gets over pores, etc. and hairs, and thereby it becomes easier to move the comb as the user desires.

[0022] In addition, in the present invention, since it is a structure in which a groove is formed in the tip range of the extending part, like the comb of Patent Document 1, the outer dimension of the tip side does not become thin due to the meat stealing part, so the tip side of the extending part is not insufficient in strength and is sufficient. Further, since the groove according to the present invention has a groove bottom because it is a groove structure, unlike the concave parts of the combs according to Patent Documents 4 and 5, it does not crack in a slit shape, so a situation where hairs enter the slit-shaped concave part does not occur, and smooth movement of the comb can be ensured.

[0023] In the present invention, since a groove is formed in the extending portion that extends parallel to the protruding direction of the comb teeth from one end side of the comb back, when performing operations such as parting and blocking, a comb suitable for a user who uses the extending portion in the same direction as the protruding direction of the comb teeth can be provided. Note that forming a groove in the extending portion in the same direction as the protruding direction of such comb teeth is applicable to both a type of comb without a handle portion (cut comb) and a type of comb with a handle portion (tail comb, etc.). Further, in the case of a type of comb without a handle portion, one end in the longitudinal direction of the comb back corresponds to one end side of the comb back. In the case of a type of comb with a handle portion, the end (tip) on the opposite side of the handle portion in the longitudinal direction of the comb back corresponds to one end side of the comb back.

[0024] In the present invention, since the tip of the extending portion is formed in a flat shape parallel to the longitudinal direction of the comb back, a certain width can be ensured as compared with the case where the tip of the extending portion is sharp. Thereby, when parting the hair to both sides with the extending portion during parting or blocking, etc., a wider width of the boundary of the parting can be ensured, and it becomes easier to form a clear parting. Further, when the width of the boundary of the parting becomes wider, there are more raised hair follicles, etc. and hairs crossing the boundary. However, in the present invention, since the groove is formed so that the groove end portion appears on the tip of such a flat shape, a situation where the hair follicles and hairs, etc. existing at the boundary of the parting are surely overcome by the groove is ensured, and the movement of the comb is not hindered and the comb can be moved smoothly.

[0025] In the present invention, since a groove is provided in the extending portion that extends parallel to the direction in which the comb teeth protrude from the other end side of the comb back, even when the user performs parting, blocking, etc. with the extending portion provided on the other end side of the comb back, similar to the case of the extending portion provided on one end side of the comb back described above, the influence of raised hair follicles, hairs, etc. can be avoided and the comb can be moved smoothly. Note that when forming a groove in the extending portion on the other end side of the comb back, two patterns are assumed: when a groove is also provided in the extending portion on one end side of the comb back, or when it is not provided.

[0026] In the present invention, a tip mark indicating a location corresponding to the tip of an extension extending from one end side or the other end side of the comb back is provided on the comb back. Therefore, even when the amount of hair at the location where parting, blocking, etc. is to be performed is large and the extension is buried deep in the hair up to the root, the comb back will not be buried in the hair. As a result, the user can grasp the tip position of the extension with the tip mark provided on the comb back. Thus, even when parting or blocking a location with a large amount of hair, it is possible to assist in performing the operation of grasping the position on the tip side of the extension with reference to the tip mark of the comb back and parting the hair along the line desired by the user.

[0027] In the present invention, since a groove is provided in the extension that extends in a rod shape along the longitudinal direction of the comb back from the other end side of the comb back, even when the user performs operations such as parting and blocking using the extension as the handle part of a type of comb (tail comb) having a handle part, it is possible to avoid the influence of raised hair follicles, hair, etc. and smoothly move the comb, similar to the case of the extension provided on one end side of the above-described comb back. When forming a groove with the handle part as the extension, it is assumed that a groove may or may not be provided in the extension on one end side of the comb back. Similarly, it is assumed that a groove may or may not be provided in the extension on the other end side of the comb back.

[0028] In the present invention, in the rod-shaped extension (the handle part of the comb) provided with a groove in the tip range, a flat surface is formed at the tip location on the surface side orthogonal to the width direction. Therefore, when performing parting or blocking with the rod-shaped extension (handle part) lying on the scalp, the flat surface at the tip location of the extension comes into surface contact with the scalp, making it difficult for the rod-shaped extension to rotate in the circumferential direction of the cross-section, and enabling operations such as parting and blocking to be performed in a stable posture. Furthermore, in the present invention, since a groove is formed so as to cross the above-described flat surface, with the flat surface in contact with the scalp, the influence of raised hair follicles, hair, etc. is avoided by the groove, and at the same time, the contact resistance with the scalp, etc. is reduced due to the presence of the groove, contributing to ensuring smooth movement of the comb.

[0029] In the present invention, since the comb tooth grooves are provided in the tip range on the surface side orthogonal to the width direction of the comb teeth, when styling the hair with the comb teeth such as combing the hair, the influence due to resistance caused by raised pores or the like and contact resistance with the hair to be styled is reduced by the comb tooth grooves, making it easier to perform smooth styling. Further, since the comb tooth grooves are formed to extend from the tip side of the comb teeth toward the comb back, even when styling or the like is performed with the comb teeth lying on the scalp, the resistance to the hair is reduced by the comb tooth grooves extending a certain length, enabling styling with a good feel.

[0030] In the present invention, since a central mark indicating a location corresponding to the comb tooth located in the middle in the longitudinal direction of the comb back among a plurality of comb teeth is provided on the comb back, even when the comb teeth are buried in the hair when styling a portion with a large amount of hair, the comb back is not buried in the hair. Therefore, the user can recognize the central portion among the plurality of comb teeth with reference to the central mark on the comb back, which helps to easily adjust the amount of the hair bundle and the like.

[0031] In the present invention, since a predetermined interval mark indicating a location corresponding to each comb tooth located at a predetermined interval along the longitudinal direction of the comb back among a plurality of comb teeth is provided on the comb back, even when the comb teeth are buried in the hair when styling a portion with a large amount of hair, the user can recognize the positions of the comb teeth at the predetermined interval with reference to each predetermined interval mark on the comb back, which helps to adjust the width of a hair bundle with a large amount of hair and the like.

Advantages of the Invention

[0032] In the present invention, since a groove is provided in the tip range of the extending portion of the comb, a situation is created where pores and hair on the movement line of the comb for operations such as parting and blocking can be overcome by the groove, reducing the influence that obstructs the movement of the extending portion due to pores and hair. Therefore, when performing operations such as parting and blocking, compared with conventional combs, the user can move the comb smoothly and efficiently perform operations such as dividing the hair bundle.

[0033] In addition, in the present invention, since a groove is formed in the extending portion that extends parallel to the protruding direction of the teeth from one end side of the comb back, it is possible to provide a comb suitable for a user who uses the extending portion provided on one end side of the comb back for parting, blocking, etc. Furthermore, in the present invention, since the tip of the extending portion is formed in a flat shape parallel to the longitudinal direction of the comb back, when parting or blocking, a wide width of the boundary of the parting can be secured to form a clear parting.

[0034] Moreover, in the present invention, since a groove is provided in the extending portion that extends parallel to the direction in which the teeth protrude from the other end side of the comb back, even when the user performs operations such as parting or blocking with the extending portion provided on the other end side of the comb back, the influence of pores, hair, etc. can be avoided, and the user can move the comb smoothly.

[0035] In the present invention, since a tip mark indicating a location corresponding to the tip of the extending portion provided on one end side or the other end side of the comb back is provided on the comb back, even if the extending portion is buried deep in the hair to the root, the user can grasp the position of the extending portion on one end side or the other end side by the tip mark on the comb back, and when performing operations such as parting or blocking on a location with a large amount of hair, it can assist the user in moving the comb along the desired line.

[0036] In addition, in the present invention, since a groove is provided in the extending portion that extends in a rod shape in the longitudinal direction of the comb back from the other end side of the comb back, even when performing operations such as parting or blocking with the handle portion of the comb as the extending portion, the influence of pores, hair, etc. can be avoided, and the user can move the comb smoothly.

[0037] Furthermore, in the present invention, in the handle portion that becomes the rod-shaped extending portion, since a flat surface is formed at the tip portion, when parting or blocking in a posture where the handle portion is laid on the scalp, the flat surface at the tip portion comes into surface contact with the scalp, preventing the rod-shaped extending portion from rotating in the circumferential direction, and it can be used to perform operations such as parting and blocking in a stable posture.

[0038] In the present invention, since the comb teeth grooves are provided in the tip range of the comb teeth on the surface side orthogonal to the width direction of the comb teeth, when styling the hair with the comb teeth, such as combing the hair, the comb teeth grooves can reduce the influence of the contact resistance of the hair to be styled and the resistance caused by raised hair follicles and the like, and smooth styling can be performed.

[0039] Further, in the present invention, since the central mark indicating the location corresponding to the comb teeth located in the middle in the longitudinal direction of the comb back portion is provided on the comb back portion among the plurality of comb teeth, when the user styles the hair in a portion with a large amount of hair, etc., the user can style the hair while recognizing the position of the comb teeth with the central mark on the comb back portion as a guide.

[0040] Furthermore, in the present invention, since the predetermined interval marks indicating the locations corresponding to each comb tooth located at predetermined intervals along the longitudinal direction of the comb back portion are provided on the comb back portion among the plurality of comb teeth, when styling the hair in a portion with a large amount of hair, etc., the user can recognize the required dimensions with the respective predetermined interval marks on the comb back portion as a guide, and it is useful for adjusting the width of a hair bundle with a large amount of hair.

Mode for Carrying Out the Invention

Embodiment

[0042] Figs. 1 to 3 schematically show the whole of the comb 1 according to the first embodiment of the present invention. The comb 1 of the present invention is of a type having a handle portion called a tail comb, and is integrally formed of synthetic resin. As a general configuration, the comb 1 has a plurality of comb teeth 6 protruding in a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the comb back portion 2 that serves as a backbone-like comb body, and from one end side (one end side 2a) and the other end side (the other end side 2b) in the longitudinal direction of the comb back portion 2, an end-edge comb portion 3 (corresponding to the first extending portion) and an other-end-edge comb portion 4 (corresponding to the second extending portion) are extended in parallel with the protruding direction of each comb tooth 6 so as to sandwich the plurality of comb teeth 6, and further, from the other end side (the other end side 2b) of the comb back portion 2, a tail 5 (a handle portion, corresponding to the third extending portion) is extended along the longitudinal direction of the comb back portion 2.

[0043] The X-axis direction shown in Fig. 1 is a direction along the longitudinal direction of the comb back portion 2 extending in a backbone shape, the Y-axis direction orthogonal to the X-axis direction is a direction along the protruding direction of the comb teeth 6 and the extending directions of the edge comb portions 3 and 4, and the Z-axis direction orthogonal to the X-axis direction and the Y-axis direction is a direction along the width direction (thickness direction) of the comb 1, the comb back portion 2, the edge comb portions 3 and 4, the tail 5, and each comb tooth 6 (the same applies to other figures). In Figs. 1 and the like, the arrow indicating the X-axis points from one end side 2a to the other side 2b of the comb back portion 2, the arrow indicating the Y-axis points in the direction in which the comb teeth 6 protrude from the comb back portion 2, and the arrow indicating the Z-axis points from the front side to the back side of the comb 1 (the same applies to other figures).

[0044] Fig. 2 is a front view of the comb 1. The comb 1 of the present embodiment has a configuration that is symmetric between the configuration seen from the front direction and the configuration seen from the back direction. Therefore, for the configuration of the comb 1 in the back direction, the configuration from the front direction is referred to. Hereinafter, the comb 1 will be described in detail.

[0045] As shown in FIGS. 1-3, 4, etc., the comb back 2 of the comb 1 forms a plurality of through holes 7 penetrating from the front side 2c to the back side 2d on the opposite side along the Z-axis direction, and these through holes 7 are arranged linearly at a predetermined interval along the X-axis direction. The through hole 7 is a horizontally long ellipse with the X-axis direction as the major axis direction, and a horizontally long elliptical counterbore portion 7a is further formed around the ellipse (see also FIG. 7). In the first embodiment, the ratio of the inner diameter on the major axis side to the inner diameter on the minor axis side of the through hole 7 is 2 to 1. As an example, the inner diameter on the major axis side is set to about 4 mm (millimeters), and the inner diameter on the minor axis side is set to about 2 mm (it is assumed that, for example, the inner diameter on the major axis side of the counterbore portion 7a is set to about 9 mm and the inner diameter on the minor axis side is set to about 3 mm).

[0046] As shown in FIG. 2, the through hole 7 located at the most one-end side 2a of the comb back 2 is formed at a position where its center is at a distance P from the tip portion 2g of the one-end side 2a of the comb back 2, and each through hole 7 whose order from the one-end side 2a is the second and later is sequentially formed at a position where the distance between the centers of the respective through holes 7 is the distance P.

[0047] As a specific example of the distance P, depending on the orientation, specifications, etc. of the comb 1, it may be set to any dimension in millimeters or inches. For example, when using a dimension in millimeters, it is preferably set to a standard dimension such as 10 mm, and when using a dimension in inches, it is preferably set to 1 inch or 0.5 inch, etc. The plurality of through holes 7 formed at such intervals can be used as marks (marks indicating the distance along the longitudinal direction of the comb back 2) showing a predetermined dimension for each distance P. For example, when measuring the length of the hair to be cut with each through hole 7, the tip portion 2g of the comb back 2 is brought into contact with the scalp near the root of the hair to be cut, and the length of the hair to be left after cutting is measured with each through hole 7, and the hair is cut at the measured location.

[0048] Also, as shown in FIG. 1 and the like, the comb 1 has a plurality of comb teeth 6 protruding from the bottom surface 2f (see FIGS. 4, 7, etc.) of the comb back 2 between the one-edge comb part 3 and the other-edge comb part 4. When viewed as a whole, these plurality of comb teeth 6 are arranged in a continuous planar configuration, and the planar portion where the plurality of comb teeth 6 are arranged in a row is oriented parallel to the XY plane defined by the X-axis and the Y-axis.

[0049] Furthermore, the base side 6a (see FIG. 7) of the plurality of comb teeth 6 does not stay on the bottom surface 2f of the comb back 2, but extends so as to enter the front surface 2c and the back surface 2d of the comb back 2, and bulges (is convexly provided) from the surfaces of the comb back 2 such as the front surface 2c and the back surface 2d.

[0050] As shown in FIG. 4 and the like, among these plurality of comb teeth 6, the comb tooth (the central comb tooth 65 among the comb teeth 6) located at the center (middle) in the X-axis direction extends its base side 65a longer than the base sides 6a (see FIG. 7) of the comb teeth 6 arranged on both adjacent sides, and a central mark 25 linearly extending from the base side 65a is provided on the comb back 2 (see FIG. 4). This central mark 25 indicates a location corresponding to the central comb tooth 65, is linearly connected from the front surface 2c of the comb back 2 via the top surface 2e to the back surface 2d (see FIGS. 4, 5, etc.), and, similar to the base side 65a of the comb back comb tooth 65, bulges (has a convexly provided shape) from the surfaces (front surface 2c, back surface 2d, top surface 2e) of the comb back 2.

[0051] Further, as shown in FIG. 4, among the plurality of comb teeth 6, each comb tooth (specific comb teeth 62, 63, 64, 66, 67, 68) protruding from the comb back 2 at a position where a predetermined interval W1 is provided in the left and right directions (left and right directions along the X-axis direction) from the central comb tooth 65 also extends the root sides 62a, 63a, 64a, 66a, 67a, 68a thereof longer than the root side 6a of the adjacent comb teeth 6. And these root sides 62a, 63a, 64a, 66a, 67a, 68a also bulge convexly from the surfaces of the comb back 2 such as the front surface 2c and the back surface 2d, and the convex portions from the surface of the comb back 2 corresponding to these root sides 62a, 63a, 64a, 66a, 67a, 68a are set at predetermined intervals 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28 (see FIGS. 4 and 5). These predetermined interval marks 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28 function as marks indicating positions corresponding to each of the specific comb teeth 62, 63, 64, 66, 67, 68. Incidentally, the above-described central mark 25 also functions as a predetermined interval mark indicating a position corresponding to the central comb tooth 65 with a predetermined interval from each of the specific comb teeth 64, 66.

[0052] The dimension W1 of the interval related to the positions of the specific comb teeth 62, 63, 64, 66, 67, 68 and the central comb tooth 65 corresponds to the distance between the center lines along the Y-axis direction in each comb tooth. Similar to the distance P between the centers related to the plurality of through holes 7 formed in the above-described comb back 2, it may be set to any dimension in millimeters or inches according to the orientation, specifications, etc. of the comb 1. When using a dimension in millimeters, it is preferably set to a standard dimension such as 10 mm, and when using a dimension in inches, it is preferably set to 1 inch or 0.5 inch, etc.

[0053] Further, as shown in FIG. 4, the distance from the specific comb tooth 62 closest to one end side 2a of the comb back 2 to the edge portion 3e facing the comb tooth side of the one end edge comb portion 3 is also set to the dimension W1. Similarly, the distance from the specific comb tooth 68 closest to the other end side 2b of the comb back 2 to the edge portion 4e facing the comb tooth side of the other end edge comb portion 4 is also made to conform to the dimension W1. Therefore, in the comb 1, the distance W between the edge comb portions from the edge portion 3e of the one end edge comb portion 3 to the edge portion 4e of the other end edge comb portion 4 is set to be eight times the dimension W1. The edge portion 3e of the one end edge comb portion 3 is at the same position as the tip 3c in the X-axis direction, and the edge portion 4c of the other end edge comb portion 4 is also at the same position as the tip 4c in the X-axis direction. Therefore, the distance W between the edge comb portions also corresponds to the distance inside between the tip 3c of the one end edge comb portion 3 and the tip 4c of the other end edge portion 4.

[0054] In the comb 1 of the present embodiment, the dimension W1 of the interval such as the specific comb teeth is set to 10 mm. Accordingly, the distance W between the edge comb portions becomes 80 mm. This dimension of 80 mm is equivalent to the length of a rod having a diameter of 12 mm among the types of rods used for curling (perming) hair. Therefore, when blocking the hair for curling using the comb 1 of the present embodiment, when adjusting the width of the hair bundle to the dimension from the tip 3c of the one end edge comb portion 3 to the tip 4c of the other end edge comb portion 4, it exactly matches the length of the rod. Thus, it becomes easy to adjust the width of the hair bundle to a width dimension suitable for winding the rod. Also, the dimension of the 10 mm interval when dividing the hair bundle can be used as a mark for the predetermined interval marks 22 such as the root side 62a visible on the comb back 2. Therefore, it is also useful when adjusting the width of the hair bundle in this regard. In particular, for the central comb tooth 65, since the central mark 25 also exists, when adjusting the width of the hair bundle, the central position in the width direction can be easily confirmed by the central mark 25.

[0055] Further, as shown in FIG. 4 and the like, among the plurality of comb teeth 6 of the comb 1, as the comb tooth closest to the one end edge comb portion 3, a short comb tooth 16 having a shorter protruding dimension (total length in the Y-axis direction) than the other comb teeth 6 is provided. By making the short comb tooth 16 adjacent to the one end edge comb portion 3 in this way, a space is created around the tip 3c of the one end edge comb portion 3, facilitating the operation of parting or blocking the hair at the one end edge comb portion 3.

[0056] Furthermore, in the comb 1 of the present embodiment, the protruding dimension (total length in the Y-axis direction) of the comb teeth 6 other than the short comb teeth 16 is made shorter than the total lengths of the one-edge comb part 3 and the other-edge comb part 4. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 7, the tip part 6b of each comb tooth 6 is shorter by a distance V1 than the height V in the Y-axis direction of the tip 3c of the one-edge comb part 3 (as a specific dimension of the distance V1, about 0.5 to 2.5 mm is conceivable, and it is set to about 1 mm in the present embodiment). Although such a relationship is not shown in FIG. 7, the same applies to the other-edge comb part 4. The tip 4c of the other-edge comb part 4 is at the position of the height V in the Y-axis direction, and the tip part 6b of each comb tooth 6 is located at a position retracted by a distance V1 from the tip 4c of the other-edge comb part 4. By setting the positional relationship as described above, when parting or blocking is performed at the tip 3c of the one-edge comb part 3 or the tip 4c of the other-edge comb part 4, each comb tooth 6 is prevented from getting in the way. Next, a detailed description of the one-edge comb part 3 will be given.

[0057] As shown in FIGS. 1, 2, 4, 7, etc., the one-edge comb part 3 (the first extending part) has a tapered shape with a thinner tip, and functions as an extending part extending from one end side 2a of the comb back part 2 in a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the comb back part 2 (the direction along the Y-axis direction, which also corresponds to the direction parallel to the protruding direction of each comb tooth 6). Such a tapered shape is not only when viewed from the front side of the comb 1 as in FIGS. 2, 4, 7, etc., but also when viewed from the tip side of the comb 1 (the side of the tip part 2g of the comb back part 2), the dimension in the width direction (thickness direction) corresponding to the Z-axis direction is made smaller toward the tip 3c, thereby forming a tapered shape (see FIGS. 10, 11, etc.).

[0058] As shown in Fig. 7, which is an enlarged view of the one - end edge comb portion 3 from the front direction of the comb 1, in the direction along the Y - axis, it can be divided into a tip range 3a which is the range on the tip side including the tip 3c and a base range 3b which is the range on the base side including the extending origin from the comb back portion 2. The ratio of these ranges can be set variously according to the design specifications. However, when the total length of the one - end distal portion 3 along the Y - axis is regarded as "1", as the ratio range of the tip range 3a to the base range 3b, a range of about 0.3:0.7 to 0.7:0.3 can be considered. As a well - balanced ratio, it can be assumed that the ratio of the tip range 3a to the base range 3b is 0.5:0.5.

[0059] The one - end edge comb portion 3 is a view from the front direction of Fig. 7. On the outer peripheral edge (the one - end outer edge surface 3d which is the surface forming the edge of the outer periphery), the base range 3b is formed in a curved shape based on a concave curve, while the tip range 3a is formed in a curved shape based on a convex curve outward. Therefore, the one - end outer edge surface 3d on the outer peripheral side (the side corresponding to the tip portion 2g of the comb back portion 2) of the one - end edge comb portion 3 is continuously connected by a gently curved line from concave to convex from the base range 3b to the tip range 3a, and has a tapered shape in which the dimension along the X - axis decreases from the top which is convex in the tip range 3a to the tip 3c.

[0060] Also, in the one - end edge comb portion 3, the edge portion 3e corresponding to the one - end inner edge surface facing the side of the comb teeth 6 is formed linearly in the view from the front direction of Fig. 7. And on the surface (front surface 2c, back surface 2d, top surface 2e) of the comb back portion 2 corresponding to this linear edge portion 3e, a linear groove - shaped one - end side mark 21 indicating the location corresponding to the edge portion 3e is formed. Since this edge portion 3e is linear along the Y - axis, it also coincides with the position of the tip 3c of the one - end edge comb portion 3 in the X - axis direction. The one - end side mark 21 corresponds to the tip mark representing the position of the tip 3c of the one - end edge comb portion 3 (the position of the inner - edge - side corner closer to the comb teeth 6 at the tip 3c).

[0061] Specifically, at one end edge comb part 3, a one-end side mark 21 is formed at a location where a linear edge part 3e in the one end edge comb part 3 is extended along the Y-axis direction toward the comb back part 2. This one-end side mark 21 has a groove shape that is continuous from the front surface 2c of the comb back part 2 via the top surface 2e to the back surface 2d. Of course, such a one-end side mark 21 can also be in a form other than the groove shape. For example, similar to the central mark 25 indicating the position of the above-described central comb tooth 65, it may be in a convex shape that protrudes from the surface of the comb back part 25.

[0062] Furthermore, as shown in FIGS. 7 and 8(a) etc., the one end edge comb part 3 of the present embodiment is not sharpened at the tip 3c, but has a flat shape parallel to the X-axis direction. The surface (flat surface) of the tip 3c corresponding to this flat shape forms an outer edge side corner part 3g at the corner connecting to the one end outer edge surface 3d of the one end edge comb part 3, and an inner edge side corner part 3h at the corner connecting to the one end inner edge surface (edge part 3e). Such a flat surface of the tip 3c secures a dimension S (the dimension along the X-axis direction of the flat surface of the tip 3c) from the outer edge side corner part 3g to the inner edge side corner part 3h. As a specific numerical value of the dimension S, a range of slightly less than about 1 mm to about 2 mm can be assumed. In the comb 1 of the present embodiment, the dimension S is set to about 1.5 mm.

[0063] In this way, by securing the dimension S as described above, when parting or blocking is performed with the one end edge comb part 3 of the present embodiment, compared to the case of sharpening, it is possible to largely divide the hair left and right with a certain width of the dimension S, which helps to quickly perform operations such as parting and blocking. At the same time, since a sharp tip is not pressed, it becomes a situation that is gentle on the scalp. Also, since the outer edge side corner part 3g and the inner edge side corner part 3h are edge-shaped corners, when parting or blocking a hair location with a high density, etc., by using the outer edge side corner part 3g or the inner edge side corner part 3h with an edge-shaped corner standing up, it is possible to quickly comb through the hair with a high density, contributing to speeding up the operation of parting the hair such as parting and blocking.

[0064] Furthermore, as shown in FIGS. 4, 7, etc., one end edge comb portion 3 forms a tip through hole 8 penetrating in the Z-axis direction (width direction) at a position near the root range 3b in the tip range 3a. The tip through hole 8 has an elliptical shape similar to the through hole 7 of the comb back portion 2, and an elliptical countersunk portion 8a recessed from the front side surface 3f of the one end edge comb portion 3 is formed around the elliptical tip through hole 8. The tip through hole 8 and the countersunk portion 8a are formed such that their major axis directions are oblique with respect to the Y-axis direction, whereby the opening edge of the countersunk portion 8a of the tip through hole 8 is arranged along the curved shape (curved surface shape) of the outer edge that protrudes outward from the tapered tip range 3a of the one end edge comb portion 3, and the elliptical tip through hole 8 and the countersunk portion 8a are made to have as large dimensions as possible within the possible range. Note that the countersunk portion 8a is also formed on the back side surface 3i of the one end edge comb portion 3 in the same manner as the above-described front side surface 3f.

[0065] Also, as shown in FIG. 7, as a feature of the present invention, the one end edge comb portion 3 forms a groove 10 in the tip range 3a. The groove 10 is provided on the side of the front side surface 3f orthogonal to the width direction (Z-axis direction) of the one end edge comb portion 3 (the front side surface 3f has a positional relationship parallel to the XY plane defined by the X-axis and the Y-axis), and is formed to extend from the side of the tip 3c of the one end edge comb portion 3 toward the comb back portion 2 up to near the front of the countersunk portion 8a. The groove 10 has a groove tip portion 10a (corresponding to the groove end) at the side of the tip 3c of the one end edge comb portion 3 and a groove other end portion 10b at the side of the countersunk portion 8a, and has a constant groove length L from the groove tip portion 10a to the groove other end portion 10b (see FIG. 7).

[0066] The groove 10 of the present embodiment is not parallel to the Y-axis direction in which the groove extends, but is slightly inclined with respect to the Y-axis direction, similar to the major axis direction of the tip through-hole 8 and the countersunk portion 8a described above. Thereby, a required interval is provided from the edge portion 3e of the linear inner edge surface at one end edge comb portion 3, so that an intended groove shape and rigidity can be ensured. Further, the groove 10 of the present embodiment is formed such that the groove tip portion 10a, which is the end portion on the groove tip side, protrudes to the tip 3c having a flat shape of the one end edge comb portion 3, and the inside of the groove 10 is exposed from the flat surface of the tip 3c (see Fig. 8(a)). As shown in the groove 10 protruding from the flat surface of the tip 3, the groove shape in the direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the groove 10 is a semi-circular arc shape (see Figs. 8(a) and 8(b)), but it is of course possible to form it in the shape of the alphabet U or V.

[0067] Regarding the groove width M and the groove depth F (see Fig. 8(b)) of the groove 10, the side of the groove tip portion 10a is made larger than the side of the other groove end portion 10b, and from a position closer to the other groove end portion 10b than half of the groove length L, the groove width M and the groove depth F are gradually decreased.

[0068] As specific values of the groove length L of the groove 10, values within the range of about 2 mm to 5 mm are considered (for example, 3.5 mm, etc.), and as values of the groove width M at the groove tip portion 10a, values within the range of about 0.5 mm to 1.3 mm are considered (for example, 1 mm, etc.), and as values of the groove depth F, values within the range of about 0.2 mm to 0.8 mm are considered (for example, 0.4 mm). As the ratio of such groove width M and groove depth F, a range of about 4:1 to 1.5:1 can be assumed (for example, considering balance, 2.5:1, etc. can be considered). In addition, the groove 10 described above is also formed on the back surface 3i of the one end edge comb portion 3 (the back surface 3i is also in a positional relationship parallel to the XY plane defined by the X-axis and the Y-axis) in the same manner as in the case of the front surface 3f described above.

[0069] Also, as shown in FIGS. 2, 4, 6, etc., the other-edge comb part 4 (second extending part) of the comb 1 extends along the Y-axis direction from the other-end side 2b of the comb back part 2, and is substantially triangular in order to ensure the rigidity of the base side of the tail 5 that extends long in a rod shape. Similar to the one-edge comb part 3 described above, the other-edge comb part 4 also forms an edge part 4e corresponding to the one-inner edge surface facing the side of the comb teeth 6 in a straight line in a view from the front direction (see FIG. 4). Further, in the other-edge comb part 4, the outer outer peripheral edge (the other-end outer edge 4e which is the surface forming the outer peripheral edge) on the side of the tail 5 has a slanted contour from the base 5b of the tail 5 to the tip 4c of the other-edge comb part 4, and the dimension of the other-edge comb part 4 in the X-axis direction gradually decreases from the comb back part 2 toward the tip 4c, whereby the other-edge comb part 4 has a tapered shape.

[0070] In addition, the other-edge comb part 4 forms a plurality of semi-circular depressions 4b on the slanted other-end outer edge 4e to serve as an anti-slip when a user places a thumb or the like on the other-end outer edge 4e to perform operations such as hair styling or parting hair. Further, the other-edge comb part 4 forms three rib-shaped curved parts 9a, 9b, 9c on the front surface 4f and the back surface on the front side. These three curved parts 9a to 9c are recessed from the surface, whereby the other-edge comb part 4 ensures the strength necessary to extend the tail 5 and also ensures flexibility as much as possible, making the comb 1 flexible and easy to bend at the location of the other-edge comb part 4, facilitating hair styling along the curved surface of the scalp. Note that a part of the three curved parts 9a to 9c extends to the comb back part 2, and the tip part of the uppermost curved part 9c extends to the vicinity of the base 5b of the tail 5.

[0071] Also, as shown in FIG. 6 and the like, on the surfaces (front surface 2c, back surface 2d, top surface 2e) of the comb back portion 2 corresponding to the edge portion 4e of the other edge comb portion 4, similar to the one - end - side mark 21 of the comb back portion 2 described above, a linear groove - shaped other - end - side mark 29 indicating a location corresponding to the edge portion 4e is formed. Since this edge portion 4e is also linear along the Y - axis direction and coincides with the position of the tip 4c of the other edge comb portion 4 in the X - axis direction, the other - end - side mark 29 corresponds to a tip mark representing the position of the tip 4c of the other edge comb portion 4 (the position of the inner - edge - side corner on the side closer to the comb teeth 6 at the tip 4c). Note that, similar to the one - end - side mark 21, the other - end - side mark 29 may be formed in a convex shape that bulges upward instead of a groove shape.

[0072] As shown in FIGS. 1 - 3 and 6, the tail 5 (the third extension portion) extends from the other - end - side 2b of the comb back portion 2 along the X - axis direction (along a direction parallel to the longitudinal direction of the comb back portion 2) in a rod - like (round - rod - like) shape. The tail 5 has a tapered shape such that, when viewed in the front (XY plane) as shown in FIGS. 2 and 6, the dimension in the Y - axis direction gradually decreases toward the tail tip 5a, and also has a tapered shape such that, when viewed in the plane (XZ plane) as shown in FIG. 3, the dimension in the Z - axis direction gradually decreases toward the tail tip 5a, and the tail tip 5a is pointed. As for the overall width dimension (dimension in the Z - axis direction) of the comb 1, as shown in FIG. 3, the vicinity of the base 5b of the tail 5 and the vicinity of the other - end - side 2b of the comb back portion 2 are the largest, and the range corresponding to the location where the comb teeth 6 protrude from the comb back portion 2 and the location where the one - edge comb portion 3 extends (the range indicated by reference numerals 2g to 29 in FIG. 3) has a smaller width dimension than the vicinity of the base 5b of the tail 5 and the other - end - side 2b of the comb back portion (about 1 / 2 to 3 / 4 smaller, and about 3 / 5 smaller in this embodiment). Thereby, the comb back portion 6 in the range where the comb teeth 6 etc. protrude is made flexible, making it easier to perform hair - styling operations such as combing while bending the comb back portion 6 according to the curvature of the head.

[0073] As shown in FIG. 6 and the like, the tail 5 forms a plurality of points 20 and 21 that serve as marks for the distance from the tail tip 5a, which is the extending end, on the front tail surface 5c and the back tail surface 5d, which are surfaces orthogonal to the width direction (Z direction) of the comb back 2. In this embodiment, these points 20 and 21 are formed in a concave round shape from the surface of the tail 5, but it is also possible to form them convex from the surface of the tail 5, or to form them in a linear shape along the Y-axis direction instead of a round shape.

[0074] Among the plurality of points 20 and 21, the point 21 that is located the farthest from the tail tip 5a is formed at a location (tip location) of the first dimension P20 from the tail tip 5a, and each subsequent point 20 is sequentially formed at locations with an interval of the second dimension P2. The first dimension P20 is set to be twice the length of the second dimension P2, and in this embodiment, the length of the second dimension P2 is set to 10 mm. Therefore, for example, when the tail tip 5a is pressed against the scalp at the root of the hair, the length of the hair can be measured using the points 20 of the tail 5 as marks, which is useful when determining the cutting location of the hair.

[0075] Also, as shown in FIGS. 3, 6, 9(a)(b), etc., the tail 5 forms a flat surface 12 at the tip location corresponding to the range of the first dimension P20. Since the tail 5 is in the shape of a round bar as described above, its surface is a curved surface that bulges outward. However, at the location closer to the tail tip 5a within the range of the first dimension P20 (tip location), the front tail surface 5c and the back tail surface 5d, which are the surfaces orthogonal to the width direction (Z-axis direction) of the tail 5, are flattened to form the flat surface 12. The length dimension of such a flat surface 12 along the X-axis direction can be set variously depending on the length of the tail 5 and the like, and it is considered to be a dimension of about 1 / 5 to about 2 / 3 of the first dimension P20 (a dimension in the range of about 4 mm to about 14 mm). In this embodiment, it is set to about 1 / 2 (about 10 mm) of the first dimension P20.

[0076] Furthermore, the tail 5 forms a tail groove 11 that extends from the side of the tail tip 5a toward the comb back 2 so as to cross the flat surface 12 along the X-axis direction. The tail groove 11 is formed linearly from the tail groove tip 11a near the tail tip 5a to the other end 11b of the tail groove. Regarding the groove width and groove depth of this tail groove 11, specific values or ratios between the two are the same as those of the groove 10 formed in the one-edge comb part 3 described above.

[0077] Note that the length of the tail groove 11 can be set variously depending on the length of the tail 5 and the like, similar to the flat surface 12 described above, and it can be set to a dimension of about 1 / 5 to about 2 / 3 of the first dimension P20 (a dimension in the range of about 4 mm to about 14 mm). In this embodiment, it is set to about 1 / 2 (about 10 mm) of the first dimension P20. Also, as shown in FIG. 9(a), the tail groove 11 is made to fit within the range of the flat surface 12, but when ensuring a longer longitudinal dimension of the tail groove 11, etc., either or both of the tail groove tip 11a or the other end 11b of the tail groove may be set to a length that protrudes from the flat surface 12.

[0078] FIGS. 10(a) and (b) show the state of the operation of separating the hair h1 such as parting or blocking with respect to the hair using the comb 1 according to the above-described first embodiment. FIG. 10(a) shows the state of viewing the comb 1 from the tip side (the tip portion 2g of the comb back 2), and FIG. 10(b) shows an enlarged cross-section near the tip 3c of the one-edge comb part 3 in the cross-section taken along the line C-C shown in FIG. 4. Note that in FIG. 10(b), the illustration of the hair h1 is omitted in order to clearly show the features of the invention. When performing operations such as parting or blocking with the one-edge comb part 3 of the comb 1, first, the tip 3c of the one-edge comb part 3 of the comb 1 is pressed perpendicularly (at a right angle) against the scalp T, which is the root portion of the hair h1 to be the work target. Then, while maintaining that perpendicular posture, the comb 1 (the one-edge comb part 3) is moved in the direction of the white arrow shown in FIGS. 10(a) and (b), and the hair h1 on the movement path is sequentially separated around the tip 3c of the one-edge comb part 3.

[0079] As shown in Fig. 10(b), when there is a pore T1 protruding from the scalp T on the movement path of the comb 1 (one-edge comb part 3), the pore T1 enters the groove 10 provided on the front surface 3f of the one-edge comb part 3 according to the direction on the movement direction side. The range where the tip 3c of the one-edge comb part 3 crosses over the protruding pore T1 becomes shorter compared to a conventional comb without the groove 10. Along with this, the influence of the protruding pore T1 is reduced, and when performing operations such as parting and blocking, the comb 1 can be smoothly moved. In addition to the protruding pore T1, when there are protruding eruptions or the like on the scalp, similar to the case of the pore T1 described above, their influences can be avoided by the groove 10, and good workability can be ensured.

[0080] Also, during operations such as parting and blocking, since the front surface 3f and the back surface 3i of the one-edge comb part 3 strongly contact the hair h1, these surfaces 3f and 3i receive pressure (contact pressure) from the hair h1. However, the groove 10 with a certain length and recessed provided in the range of the tip 3c of each surface 3f and 3i can relieve the contact pressure from the hair h1. As a result, when performing operations such as parting and blocking, it becomes easier to move the comb 1, which is useful for improving work efficiency.

[0081] In particular, the front surface 3f of the one-edge comb part 3 corresponding to the direction on the movement direction side has a greater contact pressure from the hair h1 compared to the back surface 3i. However, as described above, the groove 10 ensures a groove length L, a groove width K, and a groove depth D with predetermined dimensional values. Therefore, a part of the hair h1 in contact with the tip portion of the front surface 3f enters the groove 10, and the contact pressure from the hair h1 can be sufficiently relieved. Since the thickness of one hair (scalp hair) is about 0.08 mm on average, by ensuring the above-described numerical values for the groove length L, the groove width M, and the groove depth F of the groove 10, a sufficient amount of hair for relieving the contact pressure can enter the internal space of the groove 10.

[0082] Also, FIGS. 11(a) and 11(b) also show the situation where the comb 1 according to the first embodiment is used to perform operations such as parting and blocking on the hair. FIGS. 11(a) and 11(b) show the situation where the comb 1 is placed on the scalp T in a lying-down posture (a posture in which one end-edge comb portion 3 forms an angle smaller than 90 degrees with respect to the scalp T) and the hair is parted (note that FIGS. 11(a) and 11(b) are also views from the same direction as FIGS. 10(a) and 10(b)). Also in this case, the comb 1 is moved in the direction of the white arrow shown in FIGS. 11(a) and 11(b). However, since the comb 1 is moved in a lying-down posture with respect to the scalp T, the pressure exerted by the hair h1 on the front-side surface 3f of the one end-edge comb portion 3 in the direction of movement becomes larger compared to the case shown in FIGS. 10(a) and 10(b).

[0083] However, as shown in FIG. 11(b), since the groove 10 provided on the front-side surface 3f has the numerical values as described above for the groove length L, groove width M, and groove depth F, a certain amount of hair h1 can enter into the groove 10, the contact pressure by the hair h1 can be relaxed, and by relaxing the contact pressure in this way, the contact resistance with the hair h1 can also be reduced. Along with this, even if there is hair h1 crossing the movement path of the comb 1 (one end-edge comb portion 3), the one end-edge comb portion 3 can smoothly get over such hair h1 at the tip portion of the front-side surface 3f, and good workability for parting, blocking, etc. can be provided.

[0084] Also, even when the comb 1 is placed on the scalp T as shown in FIGS. 11(a) and 11(b) in a lying-down posture, if there are raised pores or the like on the movement path of the comb 1 (one end-edge comb portion 3), similar to the case shown in FIG. 10(b) described above, by the pores or the like entering into the groove 10, the influence on the movement of the comb 1 by the raised pores or the like can be suppressed. Note that since the counterbore portions 8a and through holes 8 recessed from the respective surfaces 3f and 3i are formed in the tip ranges 3a of the front-side surface 3f and the back-side surface 3i of the one end-edge comb portion 3 as described above, these counterbore portions 8a and through holes 8 also assist in reducing the contact area with the hair h1 separated by the one end-edge comb portion 3 and suppressing the contact pressure, and are useful for ensuring the ease of movement of the one end-edge comb portion 3 of the comb 1 in operations such as parting and blocking.

[0085] On the one hand, FIGS. 12(a) and (b) show the situation of performing operations such as parting and blocking using the tail 5. FIG. 12(a) shows the situation of performing the operation with the tail 5 in a posture perpendicular to the scalp T, and FIG. 12(b) shows the situation of performing the operation with the tail 5 laid on the scalp T (a posture in which the tail 5 forms an angle less than 90 degrees with respect to the scalp T).

[0086] In the situation shown in FIG. 12(a), similar to the case of the one-edge comb portion 3 shown in FIG. 10(a), with the tail 5 in a posture perpendicular to the scalp T, the tail tip 5a is pressed against the root portion of the hair h1 to be the work target, and in the direction of the white arrow shown in FIG. 12(a), while maintaining the above-mentioned perpendicular posture, by moving the comb 1 (tail 5), the hair h1 on the moving path is sequentially separated by the tail tip 5c.

[0087] In the range of the tail tip 5c of the front-side tail surface 5c and the back-side tail surface 5d, since the tail groove 11 is formed on the flat surface 12, similar to the case shown in FIG. 10(b), when there are hair follicles or the like protruding from the scalp T on the moving path, the protruding hair follicles or the like enter the tail groove 11 provided on the back-side tail surface 5d of the tail 5 corresponding to the moving direction side. Therefore, even when performing operations with the tail 5, the influence of the protruding hair follicles or the like is reduced, and the comb 1 can be smoothly moved during parting, blocking, etc. Also, due to the tail grooves 11 that are recessed with a certain length in the range on the side of the tail tip 5a of each surface 5c, 5d, the contact pressure from the hair h1 is relaxed, making it easier to move the comb 1. In particular, the pressure from the hair h1 on the back-side tail surface 5d corresponding to the moving direction side is greater than that on the front-side tail surface 5c, but since the tail groove 11 secures the predetermined groove length, groove width, and groove depth as described above, a part of the hair h1 enters the tail groove 11 provided on the back-side tail surface 5d, and the contact pressure from the hair h1 can be sufficiently relaxed.

[0088] Also, in the situation shown in Fig. 12(b), similar to the case of the one-edge comb part 3 shown in Fig. 11(a), with the tail 5 lying on the scalp T, the tip 5a of the tail is pressed against the root of the hair h1 to be worked on, and while keeping the comb 1 lying in the direction of the white arrow shown in Fig. 12(b), it is moved, so that the hair h1 on the moving path is successively separated by the tip 5c of the tail.

[0089] When performing the operation of separating the hair with the tail 5 lying in this way, similar to the case of the one-edge comb part 3 in the lying posture shown in Fig. 11(b), even if there is a hair h1 crossing the moving path of the comb 1 (tail 5), such a hair h1 can be smoothly overcome at the tip of the back-side tail surface 5d provided with the tail groove 11, and good workability can be provided for parting, blocking, etc. Also, when there are raised hair follicles or the like on the moving path of the comb 1 (tail 5), since such raised hair follicles or the like enter the tail groove 11, when performing the operation with the lying tail 5, the influence of the raised hair follicles or the like can be reduced, and the comb 1 can be smoothly moved during operations such as parting and blocking.

[0090] Furthermore, since the tail 5 forms a flat surface 12 at the tip near the tip 5a of the tail, as shown in Fig. 12(b), when the tail 5 is lying on the scalp T, the flat surface 12 provided on the back-side tail surface 5d corresponding to the moving direction side comes into surface contact with the scalp T and the hair h1. Therefore, the round-bar-shaped tail 5 is less likely to rotate around the center line along the longitudinal direction of the tail 5 during the operation, and the flat surface 12 functions as a rotation prevention function, so that the tail groove 11 provided in the flat surface 12 can be surely opposed to the scalp T, contributing to maintaining good workability by the tail groove 11.

[0091] Further, FIG. 13 shows an example of the situation of styling hair with the comb 1 of the present embodiment. In order to arrange the hair bundles separated by parting, blocking, etc., a plurality of comb teeth 6, one-edge comb part 3, and the other-edge comb part 4 are inserted into the hair bundle (hair h1). In FIG. 13, for the sake of clearly showing the features of the present invention, illustration of the plurality of through holes 7 formed in the comb back part 2 and the countersunk part 7a around the through holes 7 is omitted.

[0092] As shown in FIG. 13, when the amount of the hair part (hair bundle) to be styled is large or depending on the part to be styled, etc., when a plurality of comb teeth 6 are inserted into the hair, each comb tooth 6, one-edge comb part 3, and the other-edge comb part 4 may be buried in the hair or may not be clearly visible, making it difficult for the user to grasp their positions.

[0093] However, since the comb 1 of the present embodiment forms the one-end side mark 21 and the other-end side mark 29 that are continuous from the front surface 2c of the comb back part 2 via the top surface 2e to the back surface 2d, the user can recognize the positions of the tip 3c of the one-edge comb part 3 and the tip 4c of the other-edge comb part 4 from any direction of the comb 1, using the one-end side mark 21 and the other-end side mark 29 as references respectively. Therefore, when it is desired to align the width of the hair bundle with the length of the rod in order to curl the hair bundle to be styled, etc., by using the one-end side mark 21 and the other-end side mark 29 as references and aligning the hair bundle to the dimension from the one-end side mark 21 to the other-end side mark 29 (corresponding to the edge comb part interval distance W shown in FIG. 4), the hair bundle can be adjusted to an appropriate dimension for winding around the rod. And since the comb 1 of the present embodiment forms the one-end side mark 21 and the other-end side mark 29 so as to be continuous from the front surface 2c of the comb back part 2 via the top surface 2e to the back surface 2d, the user can easily confirm the one-end side mark 21 and the other-end side mark 29 from any direction, improving the workability of aligning the width of the hair bundle.

[0094] In addition, since the comb back 2 is provided with the central mark 25 and the equally spaced marks 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, when it is desired to adjust the width for cutting a separated hair bundle, these marks (including the one - end - side mark 21 and the other - end - side mark 29 in addition to the equally spaced marks 22, etc.) can be utilized. In particular, as shown in FIG. 13, when the hair volume is large and each comb tooth 6 is buried in the hair (head hair), these marks 21, 22, etc. are useful.

[0095] For example, when it is desired to adjust the hair bundle with a width of 6 cm centered on the central mark 25, using the two equally spaced marks 22 closest to the one - end - edge comb tooth 23 and 28 closest to the other - end - edge comb tooth 4 as a guide, the hair bundle is groomed with the comb 1 so that the width of the hair bundle is aligned with the dimension from the equally spaced mark 22 to the equally spaced mark 28. Also, when it is desired to align the hair bundle with a width of 5 cm closer to the tip of the comb 1, using the one - end - side mark 21 and the equally spaced mark 26, which is one closer to the other - end - edge comb tooth 4 from the central mark 25, as a guide, the hair bundle is groomed with the comb 1 so that the width of the hair bundle is adjusted with the dimension from the one - end - side mark 21 to the equally spaced mark 26. As described above, in the comb 1 of the present embodiment, even when the comb is buried in the hair (head hair) and the positions of the tip 3c of the one - turn - edge comb part 3, the tip 4c of the other - end - edge comb part 4, and each comb tooth 6 cannot be directly confirmed, each position can be indirectly grasped by using the marks 21, 22, etc. provided on the comb back 2 as a guide.

[0096] Note that the comb 1 according to the first embodiment is not limited to the above - described configuration, and various modifications can be considered for cases where the usage of the comb 1 is limited. For example, when providing a comb for users who perform operations such as parting and blocking only with the one - end - edge comb part 3, the tail groove 11 and the flat surface 12 of the tail 5 may be omitted. On the other hand, when providing a comb for users who perform operations such as parting and blocking only with the tail 5, the groove 10 of the one - end - edge comb part 3 may be omitted.

[0097] In the above description, the comb 1 has a symmetrical structure on the front side and the back side. However, when providing a comb according to whether the user is right-handed or left-handed, either the groove 10 on the front surface 3f of the one-edge comb part 3 or the groove 10 on the back surface 3i may be omitted. Similarly, either the tail groove 11 on the front tail surface 5c of the tail 5 or the tail groove 11 on the back tail surface 5d may be omitted. Also, when it is possible to prevent the tail 5 from rotating due to the user's way of holding the comb, etc., the flat surface 12 of the tail 5 can also be omitted.

[0098] Furthermore, the fixed-spacing marks 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28 on the comb back 2 may be configured to be continuous from the front 2c via the top surface 2e to the back 2d, similar to the one-end side mark 21, or may be configured to be provided discontinuously on each of the front 2, the top surface 2e, and the back 2d. Similarly, the one-end side mark 21 and the other-end side mark 22 can also be configured to be provided discontinuously on each of the front 2, the top surface 2e, and the back 2d. Moreover, when it is not necessary to confirm the position of the tip 3c of the one-edge comb part 3 or the position of the tip 4c of the other-edge comb part 4 on the comb back 2, the one-end side mark 21 or the other-end side mark 29 can be omitted. Similarly, when it is not necessary to measure the interval between the combs 6 on the comb back 2, etc., each fixed-spacing mark 22, etc. can also be omitted. And, as shown in FIG. 13, when the main purpose is to grasp the positions of the one-edge comb part 3, the comb teeth 6, etc. buried in the hair by each mark 21, 22, etc., and the operation of separating the hair such as parting or blocking is not particularly targeted, it is also possible to omit the groove 10 and the tail groove 11 from the comb 1.

[0099] Also, the groove 10 formed in the one-edge comb part 3 does not have to have a certain groove length L, and may have a shape that is concave only at the location of the tip 3c. And the tip 3c of the one-edge comb part 3 does not have to be flat, and can also have a shape with a pointed tip like the tail 5. In this case, the groove 10 will be formed so as to pass through the pointed tip 3c.

[0100] FIG. 14 shows a main part of a comb 51 which is one of the modified examples according to the first embodiment. In the comb 51 of this modified example, a groove 60 is also formed in a substantially triangular and tapered other-edge comb part 54 extending along the Y-axis direction from the other-end side 52b of the comb back part 52. This groove 60 is formed in a tip range including a tip 54c on the side of a front-side surface 54f orthogonal to the width direction (Z-axis direction) of the other-edge comb part 54 so as to extend from the side of the tip 54c toward the comb back part 52, and has a configuration symmetric about the center mark 25 of the comb back part 2, similar to the groove 10 provided in the one-edge comb part 3 shown in FIG. 7. Although not shown in FIG. 14, similar to the one-edge comb part 3, the other-edge comb part 54 also has a groove 60 formed on the side of a back-side surface (corresponding to a surface orthogonal to the width direction (Z-axis direction) of the other-edge comb part 54).

[0101] By forming the groove 60 in the other-edge comb part 54 corresponding to the second extending part in this way, for a user who performs operations such as parting and blocking using the tip 54c of the other-edge comb part 54, a situation similar to the groove 10 of the one-edge comb part 3 shown in FIGS. 10 and 11 can be ensured, and good workability can be provided. Of course, regarding the various modified examples described above, those that can be combined in terms of configuration can be appropriately combined and applied as well.

Example

[0102] FIG. 15 is a front view schematically showing the entire comb 100 according to the second embodiment of the present invention. The comb 100 according to the second embodiment is a type called a cut comb without a handle portion, and is integrally formed of synthetic resin. As a general configuration, the comb 100 has a plurality of comb teeth 106 protruding in a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the comb back portion 102 serving as a backbone-like comb body, and from one end side (one end side 102a) and the other end side (the other end side 102b) in the longitudinal direction of the comb back portion 102, an end-edge comb portion 103 (corresponding to the first extending portion) and an other-end-edge comb portion 104 (corresponding to the second extending portion) are extended in parallel with the protruding direction of each comb tooth 106 so as to sandwich the plurality of comb teeth 106. Note that the configuration of the comb 100 as viewed from the front direction shown in FIG. 15 and the configuration as viewed from the back direction (not shown) are symmetric, and therefore, for the configuration of the comb 100 in the back direction, the configuration from the front direction is referred to.

[0103] The comb back portion 102 forms a plurality of through holes 107 penetrating along the Z-axis direction from the front 102c to the opposite back surface (excluding the central portion 102i in the X-axis direction). Each of these through holes 107 is a horizontally long ellipse having the X-axis direction as the major axis direction, similar to the through hole 7 of the first embodiment, and is arranged at a predetermined interval linearly along the X-axis direction. The through hole 107 located at the most one end side 102a of the comb back portion 102 is arranged such that the position of its center is such that the distance from the tip portion 102g of the one end side 102a of the comb back portion 102 is the same as the dimension of the interval between the through holes 107. Also, the through hole 107 located at the most other end side 102b of the comb back portion 102 is arranged such that the position of its center is such that the distance from the rear end portion 102h of the other end side 102b of the comb back portion 102 is the same as the dimension of the interval between the through holes 107.

[0104] As a specific example of the dimension of the interval between the through holes 107, similar to the comb 1 of the first embodiment, depending on the orientation, specifications, etc. of the comb 100, it may be set to a dimension in millimeters or inches. For example, when using a dimension in millimeters, it is preferably set to a standard dimension such as 10 mm, and when using a dimension in inches, it is preferably set to 1 inch or 0.5 inch.

[0105] The plurality of through holes 107 formed at such intervals can be used as marks indicating a predetermined dimension from the tip portion 102g of one end side 102a or the rear end portion 102h of the other end side 102b of the comb back portion 102. Therefore, for example, when measuring the length of the hair to be cut with each through hole 107, the tip portion 102g or the rear end portion 102h of the comb back portion 102 is brought into contact with the scalp near the root of the hair to be cut, the remaining hair length to be left after cutting is measured with each through hole 107, and the hair is cut at the measured location.

[0106] The plurality of comb teeth 106 protruding from the comb back portion 102 include two types: a first comb tooth 116 with a thicker dimension in the X-axis direction and a second comb tooth 126 that is thinner than the comb tooth 116. As the thickness dimension of the first comb tooth 116 (the dimension of the comb tooth along the X-axis direction), slightly more than about 1 mm can be assumed, and as the thickness dimension of the second comb tooth 126, about 0.6 to 0.8 mm can be assumed. The first comb tooth 116 is arranged in a first range (the range on the side of the one-edge comb portion 103) extending from the central portion 102i of the comb body 102 to one end side 102a in the X-axis direction, and the second comb tooth 126 is arranged in a second range (the range on the side of the other-edge comb portion 104) extending from the central portion 102i to the other end side 102b. Also, between the first comb tooth 116 and the second comb tooth 126, the interval between the comb teeth (comb tooth pitch) is also made different, and the pitch of the first comb tooth 116 is made wider than the pitch of the second comb tooth 126 (as an example of the pitch of the first comb tooth 116, about 3 mm can be assumed, and as an example of the pitch of the second comb tooth 126, about 1.5 mm can be assumed).

[0107] In this way, the first comb teeth 116 and the second comb teeth 126 have different thickness dimensions and comb tooth pitches, so that different types of hair styling operations can be performed with a single comb 100. For example, a rough hair styling operation can be performed with the first comb teeth 116, and a delicate hair styling operation can be performed with the second comb teeth 126. When switching between the rough hair styling operation and the delicate hair styling operation as described above, since the comb 100 of the second embodiment does not have a through hole or the like provided at the central portion 102i of the comb back portion 102, the central portion 102i is suitable as a gripping portion, and the user can grip the central portion 102i by pinching it. During hair styling, by rotating around the gripped portion, the hair styling by the first comb teeth 116 and the hair styling by the second comb teeth 126 can be smoothly switched.

[0108] Also, similar to the comb 1 of the first embodiment, the comb 100 is provided with short comb teeth 136 having a shorter protruding dimension (total length in the Y-axis direction) than the first comb teeth 116 at a location adjacent to the one-edge comb portion 103 among the plurality of comb teeth 106. By these short comb teeth 136, a space is created around the tip 103c of the one-edge comb portion 103, making it easier to perform operations such as parting and blocking.

[0109] The tapered one-edge comb portion 103 of the comb 100 has basically the same configuration as the one-edge comb portion 3 of the comb 1 of the first embodiment, except for a part. Therefore, the one-edge comb portion 103 forms a groove 110 extending from the tip 103c toward the comb back portion 102 in the range of the tip 103c on the side of the front surface 103f orthogonal to the width direction (Z-axis direction). This groove 110 also has the same configuration as the groove 10 provided in the one-edge comb portion 3 of the first embodiment. Although not visible in FIG. 15, the comb 100 also forms a groove 110 symmetrically with the front surface 103f on the side of the back surface of the one-edge comb portion 103 (corresponding to the surface orthogonal to the width direction (Z-axis direction)). Also, the one-edge comb portion 103 of the second embodiment omits the tip through hole 8 and the countersunk portion 8a formed in the one-edge comb portion 3 of the first embodiment, but it is of course possible to form the tip through hole 8 and the countersunk portion 8a as in the first embodiment.

[0110] In addition, the tapered other-end edge comb section 104 extending from the other-end side 102b of the comb back section 102 has a configuration symmetric to that of the one-end edge comb section 103 described above with respect to the central portion 102i of the comb back section 102. Therefore, the other-end edge comb section 104 also forms a groove 120 extending from the tip 104c toward the comb back section 102 within the range of the tip 104c on the side of the front surface 104f orthogonal to the width direction (Z-axis direction) and the back surface (not shown). This groove 120 also has the same configuration as the groove 10 provided in the one-end edge comb section 3 of the first embodiment.

[0111] When performing operations such as parting and blocking with the one-end edge comb section 103 of the comb 100 of the second embodiment described above, when the one-end edge comb section 103 is in a posture perpendicular to the scalp, the same situation as in the first embodiment shown in FIGS. 10(a) and (b) occurs. Due to the groove 110, the contact pressure and contact resistance from the hair to be worked on can be reduced, and the influence of pores and the like protruding from the scalp can also be suppressed, ensuring good workability. Similarly, when performing operations with the one-end edge comb section 103 in a posture lying on the scalp, the same situation as in the first embodiment shown in FIGS. 11(a) and (b) occurs, and at this time as well, good workability can be ensured by the groove 110.

[0112] In addition, when performing operations such as parting and blocking with the other-end edge comb section 104, the same situation as that of the one-end edge comb section 103 described above occurs. When performing operations with the other-end edge comb section 104 in a posture perpendicular to the scalp or in a posture lying on the scalp, good workability can be ensured by the groove 120.

[0113] In this way, since the comb 100 of the second embodiment can perform operations such as parting and blocking with either the one-end edge comb section 103 or the other-end edge comb section 104, by combining the one-end edge comb teeth 103 and the first comb teeth 116, operations such as parting the hair and rough hair styling with the first comb teeth 116 can be efficiently performed without changing the holding position of the comb 100. Similarly, by combining the other-end edge comb teeth 104 and the second comb teeth 126, there is an advantage that operations such as parting the hair and delicate hair styling with the second comb teeth 126 can be efficiently performed without changing the holding position of the comb 100.

[0114] In addition, various modifications can be applied to the comb 100 of the second embodiment. For example, when making a specification for users who only use the groove 110 of the one-edge comb part 103 in the comb 100, the groove 120 of the other-edge comb part 104 can be omitted. Conversely, when making a specification for users who only use the groove 120 of the other-edge comb part 104, the groove 110 of the one-edge comb part 103 may be omitted. Also, various modifications described in the first embodiment can be appropriately applied to the comb 100 of the second embodiment, except for the modifications related to the tail 5 and the like.

Example

[0115] FIG. 16(a) is a front view schematically showing the whole of a comb 200 according to a third embodiment of the present invention. This comb 200 is also of a type without a handle portion, similar to the comb 100 of the second embodiment described above, and is integrally formed of synthetic resin. As a general configuration, the comb 200 has a plurality of comb teeth 206 protruding in a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of a comb back portion 202 that serves as a backbone-like comb body, and from one end side (one-end side 202a) and the other end side (the other-end side 202b) in the longitudinal direction of the comb back portion 202, a one-edge comb part 203 (corresponding to a first extending portion) and an other-edge comb part 204 (corresponding to a second extending portion) extend in parallel with the protruding direction of each comb tooth 206 so as to sandwich the plurality of comb teeth 206. Note that the comb 200 also has a configuration that is symmetric between the configuration seen from the front direction shown in FIG. 16 and the configuration seen from the back direction (not shown). Therefore, for the configuration of the comb 200 in the back direction, the configuration from the front direction is referred to.

[0116] The comb back portion 202 is formed with a plurality of through holes 207 at predetermined intervals, excluding an intermediate portion 202i that serves as a gripping portion for the user, similar to the comb 100 of the second embodiment, and the length of the hair to be cut and the like can be measured with reference to each of these through holes 207.

[0117] The comb 200 according to the third embodiment has comb teeth 206 with a tapered shape of a type generally called rough teeth protruding from the comb back 202 along the Y-axis direction. The comb teeth 206 of the rough teeth have dimensions about 1.5 to 4.5 times the thickness dimension (dimension along the X-axis direction) of the first comb teeth 116 of the comb 100 of the second embodiment, and the dimension of the interval between each comb tooth 206 is also about 1.2 to 4 times the interval of the first comb teeth 116 of the comb 100 of the second embodiment. As an example of the third embodiment, the comb teeth 206 of the rough teeth are round teeth with a round cross-section (circle or ellipse, see Fig. 16(c)) in the cross-section orthogonal to the protruding direction (Y-axis direction), and it is conceivable to set the thickness dimension along the X-axis direction to 4 mm and the comb tooth interval to 4 mm.

[0118] In the comb 200 of the third embodiment as well, among the plurality of comb teeth 206, at a location adjacent to the one-edge comb portion 203, there are provided short comb teeth 216 having a shorter protruding dimension (total length in the Y-axis direction) compared to other comb teeth 206 of normal length. By these short comb teeth 216, a space is created around the tip 203c of the one-edge comb portion 203, making it easier to perform operations such as parting and blocking.

[0119] As shown in Figs. 16(b) and (c), as a feature of the comb 200 of the third embodiment, all the comb teeth 206 (excluding the short comb teeth 216) each form a comb tooth groove 230 in the tip range 206d including the comb tooth tip 206a. This comb tooth groove 230 is formed to linearly extend from the side of the comb tooth tip 206a along the Y-axis direction toward the comb back 202 on the side of the front surface 206b and the back surface 206c orthogonal to the width direction (Z-axis direction) of the comb tooth 206.

[0120] The groove length of the comb tooth groove 230 in the Y-axis direction is preferably set to be about 2 times or more (about 2 times to about 15 times) the width direction of the comb tooth groove 230. As an example, it is conceivable to set the width dimension of the comb tooth groove 230 to 1.5 mm, the groove depth dimension to 0.7 mm, and the groove length dimension to 5 mm (as for the relationship between the width and the groove depth dimensions, it is conceivable to make the width:groove depth about 1:0.2 to 0.8).

[0121] When styling hair with the teeth 230 of the comb 200 of the third embodiment as described above, the tooth grooves 230 reduce the contact area with the hair (head hair) to be styled, thereby reducing the contact pressure and contact resistance from the hair (head hair), and enabling a smooth styling operation with good hair passage. And since the tooth grooves 230 are not split into two by being slit, a situation where the hair (head hair) gets entangled does not occur.

[0122] Also, similar to the comb 100 of the second embodiment, the comb 200 of the third embodiment is provided with a groove 210 in the one-edge comb portion 203 having a tapered shape. This groove 210 is formed to extend from the tip 203c toward the comb back portion 202 in the range of the tip 203c on the side of the front surface 203f and the back surface (not shown) orthogonal to the width direction (Z-axis direction). This groove 210 also has the same configuration as the groove 110 of the second embodiment. Although the one-edge comb portion 203 of the third embodiment omits the tip through hole 8 and the countersunk portion 8a formed in the one-edge comb portion 3 of the first embodiment, it is of course possible to form the tip through hole 8 and the countersunk portion 8a as in the first embodiment. Also, the one-edge comb portion 203 of the third embodiment does not form a concave curved shape in the root range like that formed in the one-edge comb portion 3 of the first embodiment on the outer peripheral edge, but has a gently convex curved shape on the outer peripheral edge, but it may have the same shape as the outer peripheral edge of the one-edge comb portion 3 of the first embodiment.

[0123] And the other-edge comb portion 204 of the comb 200 of the third embodiment has a configuration symmetric to the one-edge comb portion 203 with the central portion 202i of the comb back portion 202 as the center, similar to the comb 100 of the second embodiment. Therefore, the other-edge comb portion 204 also forms a groove 220 that extends from the tip 204c toward the comb back portion 202 in the range of the tip 204c on the side of the front surface 204f orthogonal to the width direction (Z-axis direction) and the back surface not shown.

[0124] When performing operations such as parting and blocking on one end-edge comb part 203 or the other end-edge comb part 204 of the comb 200 of such a third embodiment, when performing the operation with the one end-edge comb part 203 or the other end-edge comb part 204 in a posture perpendicular to the scalp, it is the same situation as in the first embodiment shown in FIGS. 10(a) and (b). Due to the groove 210 or the groove 220, the contact pressure and contact resistance from the hair to be operated on can be reduced, and the influence of pores and the like protruding from the scalp can also be suppressed, ensuring good workability. Similarly, when performing the operation with the one end-edge comb part 203 or the other end-edge comb part 204 in a posture lying on the scalp, it is the same situation as in the first embodiment shown in FIGS. 11(a) and (b). Also at this time, good workability can be ensured by the groove 210 or the groove 220.

[0125] Note that various modifications can also be applied to the comb 200 of the third embodiment. For example, the comb tooth groove 230 provided in the comb 206 may also be provided in the short comb teeth 216. Also, the comb tooth groove 230 does not have to be provided in all the comb teeth 206, and it is also possible to adopt a specification in which it is provided for some of the comb teeth 206. For example, it is conceivable to form the comb tooth groove 230 in the combs 206 arranged in the range from the middle part 202i to the other end side 202b of the comb back part 202, and not to form the comb tooth groove 230 in the other comb teeth 206. In this way, with the comb teeth 206 arranged from the middle part 202i to the one end side 202a of the comb back part 202, the hair styling operation can be performed in the same feeling as before, while with the comb teeth 206 arranged from the middle part 202i to the other end side 202b, the hair styling operation can be performed with a smooth feeling with good hair passage due to the comb tooth groove 230, so that two kinds of feelings can be used separately (of course, the range where the comb tooth groove 230 is provided can be reversed from the above).

[0126] Further, instead of delimiting the range of the comb teeth 206 that form the comb tooth grooves 230 as described above, a specification in which the comb teeth 206 that form the comb tooth grooves 230 and the comb teeth 206 that do not form the comb tooth grooves 230 are mixed can also be assumed. For example, arranging the comb teeth 206 in which the comb tooth grooves 230 are generated for each one or a plurality of them, randomly arranging the comb teeth 206 in which the comb tooth grooves 230 are generated, etc. can be considered. In an example where the comb teeth 206 that form the comb tooth grooves 230 are mixed in the comb teeth 206 that do not form the comb tooth grooves 230 in this way, it becomes possible to finely adjust the sense of resistance and smoothness related to hair styling according to the degree of inclusion of the comb teeth 206 that form the comb tooth grooves 230, and it becomes possible to match the feeling during the hair styling operation to the user's preference.

[0127] Also, regarding the one-end edge comb part 203 or the other-end edge comb part 204 provided with the groove 210 or the groove 220, the same modified examples as those described for the comb 100 of the second embodiment can be applied. For example, when making the comb 200 a specification for users who use only the groove 210 of the one-end edge comb part 203, the groove 220 of the other-end edge comb part 204 can be omitted. Conversely, when making a specification for users who use only the groove 220 of the other-end edge comb part 204, the groove 210 of the one-end edge comb part 203 may be omitted. Furthermore, various modified examples described in the first embodiment can be appropriately applied to the comb 200 of the third embodiment, except for the modified examples regarding the tail 5. Furthermore, in the comb 200 of the third embodiment, when operations such as parting and blocking of hair are not performed, the groove 210 or the groove 220 of the one-end edge comb part 203 or the other-end edge comb part 204 may be omitted without being formed.

Industrial Applicability

[0128] The present invention can be suitably used for smoothly and efficiently performing operations using a comb for parting hair such as parting and blocking.
