Description

[Technical Field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a reinforcing element that can be attached to a golf bag with stand legs, and a golf bag equipped with said reinforcing element, and more specifically to a reinforcing element that reinforces the stand legs of a golf bag with stand legs, and a golf bag equipped with said reinforcing element. [Background technology]

[0002] Conventionally, a golf bag with a stand leg deployment system has been widely used, and this golf bag is also called a caddy bag with a stand or a stand-type caddy bag.

[0003] This stand leg deployment system is equipped with a pair of stand legs that expand and contract in the front and rear directions and slightly diagonally left and right on the front (opposite side from the side with the handle) of the golf bag body with a handle, and an operating unit for expanding and contracting the pair of stand legs. This operating unit has a structure that opens and closes the pair of stand legs in conjunction with the tilt of the golf bag body, and generally has a ground plate part at the lower end of the operating unit that supports the golf bag body and starts opening and closing the pair of stand legs in conjunction with the tilt of the golf bag body.

[0004] To stably place the golf bag using the stand legs, the golf bag body is pushed forward (toward the side opposite the handle) with the ground plate on the ground, causing the pair of stand legs linked to the ground plate to move forward and expand, maintaining the golf bag in a forward-leaning position. On the other hand, when carrying the golf bag, the golf bag body is raised upright to release the forward-leaning position, causing the pair of stand legs linked to the ground plate to automatically return to a contracted position and collapse into a folded position.

[0005] Various efforts have been made to improve the usability and other functions of such golf bags with stand legs.

[0006] For example, an improved leg deployment system for a golf bag has been proposed that prevents the legs from sagging when the legs are in a retracted position (Patent Document 1).

[0007] That is, Patent Document 1 discloses a golf bag comprising: a bag body; a base connected to the bag body; an upper cuff connected to the bag body; and a leg deployment system connected to the upper cuff, the leg deployment system comprising: a leg receiving opening protruding away from the outer surface of the upper cuff; a spring insert inserted into the leg receiving opening, the spring insert including a cantilevered spring segment having a fixed end and a free end; and a leg assembly including a cam nose, the cam nose contacting the cantilevered spring segment when the leg assembly is in a retracted state, the cantilevered spring segment applying a force to the cam nose to maintain the leg assembly in the retracted state.

[0008] Also, a golf bag banner or golf bag display device has been proposed that can carry a logo, a manufacturer's logo, or any other markings that a golfer wants to display on his or her golf bag (Patent Document 2).

[0009] That is, Patent Document 2 discloses a golf bag banner that includes at least a flexible body that is movable between a first position and a second position, a connector mechanism that secures the flexible body to the leg of the golf bag, and a fastener that maintains the flexible body fixed vertically along the leg of the golf bag.

[0010] Furthermore, Patent Document 2 discloses a golf bag display device for use with a golf bag with a stand, the golf bag display device including: a banner including a first edge and a second edge; a reinforcement extending longitudinally adjacent to one of the first edge and the second edge; and at least a portion of a connecting mechanism arranged to attach to at least the first edge and the second edge of the banner, the banner being sized to span at least a portion of a plane in the space between the golf bag and the first leg and second leg of the golf bag, the reinforcement rod holding the banner in a predetermined position along one of the first leg and the second leg of the golf bag so as not to interfere with the movement of the first leg and the second leg of the golf bag. [0012] However, the conventional technologies disclosed in Patent Documents 1 and 2 have room for improvement in terms of devising a reinforcing structure that can be flexibly adapted to various golf bags with stand legs that have different product specifications, such as different sizes and different leg opening angles.

[0013] Furthermore, when pursuing not only the reinforcing function as a reinforcing member but also the function as a banner or display device, there is room for improvement in order to improve the banner function and display function.

[0014] SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a reinforcing member that can be flexibly adapted to various golf bags with stand legs that have different product specifications such as sizes and leg opening angles.

[0015] Furthermore, the present invention aims to provide a reinforcing device that not only has a reinforcing function as a reinforcing device but also, when equipped with a display function as a banner or display device, exhibits stable display function that is not affected by the open and closed states of the stand legs, or even by opening and closing operations. [Means for solving the problem]

[0016] A reinforcement for a golf bag with stand legs according to one embodiment of the present invention is a reinforcement that can be attached to a golf bag with stand legs, and is characterized by comprising left and right through-tube portions for passing the stand legs when attaching the bag, a thick cloth portion arranged between the left and right through-tube portions, and thin cloth portions arranged on the left and right of the thick cloth portion. [Effects of the Invention]

[0017] According to one embodiment of the present invention, a reinforcement for a golf bag with stand legs can be provided that can be flexibly adapted to various golf bags with stand legs that have different product specifications such as size and leg opening angle.

[0018] Furthermore, when the reinforcement for a golf bag with stand legs according to one embodiment of the present invention has not only a reinforcement function but also a display function as a banner or display device, it has the effect of providing a reinforcement that exhibits stable display function that is not affected by the open and closed states of the stand legs, or even by the opening and closing operations. [0020] The following describes embodiments of the reinforcement for a golf bag with stand legs (hereinafter simply referred to as the "reinforcement") of the present invention and a golf bag (hereinafter simply referred to as the "golf bag") equipped with the reinforcement, with reference to the drawings.

[0021] The basic structure of a reinforcing device according to one embodiment of the present invention is shown in Figure 1. Reinforcing device 10 according to one embodiment of the present invention is broadly composed of thick fabric portion 11, thin fabric portions 12a and 12b joined by stitching portions 111a and 111b, respectively, and through-tube portions 13a and 13b formed by folding back and stitching (131a and 131b) the ends of thin fabric portions 12a and 12b.

[0022] In one embodiment, a thick fabric such as a thick polyester is used for the thick fabric portion 11. Although not limited to this, the thickness is generally about 0.5 mm to 2 mm.

[0023] In addition, in one embodiment, the sewn-in portions 111a and 111b (and similarly 131a and 131b) are sewn in with thread, but this is not limitative and engagement with adhesive or the like is also possible. In this sense, the sewn-in portions 111a, 111b, 131a and 131b can also be referred to as engagement portions 111a, 111b, 131a and 131b.

[0024] The thin fabric portions 12a and 12b are made of a relatively thinner fabric than the thick fabric portion 11, such as a stretchy fabric such as polyester. Although not limited to this, the thickness of the thin fabric portions 12a and 12b is less than 0.5 mm, which is relatively thinner than the thickness of the thick fabric portion.

[0025] The through-tube portions 13a and 13b are through-tubes for passing stand legs therethrough, as will be described later, and the reinforcement member 10 is attached to the golf bag by passing the stand legs through these through-tubes.

[0026] Although not shown in FIG. 1, a non-slip treatment can be applied to the inside of the through-tube portions 132a and 132b, as well as 133a and 133b. This treatment is intended to prevent the reinforcing device 10 from slipping downward or the bottom end of the reinforcing device from rolling up when the reinforcing device is attached to a golf bag with stand legs. Specific examples of such treatment include the application of a high-friction coating to prevent slipping, or the application or printing of a non-slip material. In one embodiment, 132a and 132b are referred to as upper non-slip treated portions, and 133a and 133b are referred to as lower non-slip treated portions.

[0027] 1, it can be seen that the upper non-slip processed portions 132a and 132b are sewn so as to overlap partially with the upper portion of the thick cloth portion 11, but the present invention is not limited to this configuration, and the upper portions of the through-tube portions 13a and 13b may be configured to be slightly spaced apart so as not to overlap with the upper portion of the thick cloth portion 11. These differences in configuration are adjusted as appropriate depending on the relationship between the materials of the thick cloth portion 11 and the thin cloth portions 12a and 12b.

[0028] In other embodiments of the present invention, these anti-slip treatments can be replaced with other methods (see FIG. 2A, etc.). Also, the lower anti-slip treatment portions 133a and 133b can be omitted as needed.

[0029] The size of the reinforcing tool 10 in FIG. 1 is not limited to these, but as a guide, the height H1 in the figure is approximately 370 mm to 540 mm, the width W1 is approximately 290 mm to 540 mm, the width W2 of the thick cloth portion 11 is approximately 160 mm to 300 mm, and the widths W3a and W3b of the bases of the thin cloth portions 12a and 12b are each approximately 65 mm to 120 mm.

[0030] In particular, the stretchability of the thin fabric portion allows the same reinforcement device to vary in width when attached to the stand legs. The stretchability of this thin fabric portion allows for flexible adaptability to various golf bags with stand legs, even those with slightly different product specifications, such as different sizes and leg opening angles. This adaptability not only allows the device to be attached to various golf bags with stand legs, but also allows the thick fabric portion to maintain a certain tension even when attached to various golf bags with stand legs, ensuring the visibility of any name, advertisement, or other markings affixed to the thick fabric portion. Furthermore, the stretchability and flexibility of this thin fabric portion ensures the visibility of any name, advertisement, or other markings affixed to the thick fabric portion even when the stand legs are retracted.

[0031] Needless to say, when the reinforcing member 10 is attached to a golf bag with stand legs, it still serves its original purpose of preventing the stand legs from opening too far.

[0032] (Shape of thick cloth parts, etc.) In Figure 1, the shape of the thick fabric portion 11 is a substantially rectangular shape, but the present invention is not limited to this. It may be a trapezoidal shape that narrows toward the top, or vice versa. It may also be a barrel shape with a slightly bulging center, or a spool shape with a slightly narrower center. Furthermore, the shape of the thick fabric portion 11 may be a hexagonal shape with its upper sides somewhat aligned with the through-tube portions 13a and 13b. The thin fabric portions 12a and 12b can be designed to fit the various shapes of the thick fabric portion 11 described above.

[0033] 2A and 2B are explanatory diagrams illustrating the external configuration of a reinforcing device according to another embodiment of the present invention. Fig. 2A shows the front side of reinforcing device 200, and Fig. 2B shows the back side of reinforcing device 200.

[0034] 2A and 2B, cord stoppers 241a and 242b are used in upper anti-slip processed portions 24a and 24b as anti-slip processing for reinforcement device 200. When reinforcement device 200 is attached to a golf bag with stand legs (not shown), tightening these cord stoppers 241a and 242b at predetermined positions prevents reinforcement device 200 from slipping downward. In addition, in the reinforcing member 200, the lower anti-slip processed portion is omitted.

[0035] In addition, in Figures 2A and 2B, one cord stopper 241a and one cord stopper 242b are attached to each side, but the present invention is not limited to this, and multiple cord stoppers may be attached to each of the upper anti-slip processed portions 24a and 24b. Furthermore, in another embodiment of the present invention, a single elastic thread such as a rubber cord may be used to connect cord stoppers 241a and 242b laterally, and tension may be applied so that upper anti-slip processed portions 24a and 24b pull each other, thereby further preventing reinforcement device 200 from slipping downward.

[0036] Furthermore, although not shown, when employing reinforcing device 200, one or more O-rings or the like having an inner diameter slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the stand leg are attached to the upper part of the stand leg on the side to which reinforcing device 200 is attached, and when reinforcing device 200 is attached to this golf bag with stand legs, by tightening cord stoppers 241a and 242b above the O-rings, slippage of reinforcing device 200 is further prevented. As one embodiment of the present invention, two O-rings having an inner diameter slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the stand leg are attached to the upper parts of each of the stand legs.

[0037] In Figs. 2A and 2B, 21 denotes a thick cloth portion, 22, 22a and 22b denote thin cloth portions, 23a and 23b denote through-tube portions, and 231a and 232b denote stitched portions.

[0038] 2B, the thin fabric portion 22 is not simply sewn to both ends of the thick fabric portion 21, but is structured so that the thin fabric portion 22 forms a single piece of fabric and the thick fabric portion 21 is sewn to its center. Such a structure can also be employed in one embodiment of the present invention.

[0039] 3 shows a perspective view of a golf bag 300 with stand legs, fitted with a reinforcing member 310 according to one embodiment of the present invention, held in a forward-leaning position. Reference numerals 301a and 301b denote stand legs, and reference numerals 302a and 302b denote opening and closing members for opening and closing stand legs 301a and 301b. Reference numeral 303 denotes a ground plate, which is linked to opening and closing members 302a and 302b. Ground plate 303 opens and closes stand legs 301a and 302b via opening and closing members 302a and 302b in response to the tilt of the golf bag body.

[0040] Reference numeral 311 denotes a thick cloth portion, and 313a and 313b denote through-tube portions. When attaching or detaching the reinforcing member 310 to or from the golf bag with stand legs 300, the attachment or detachment work is performed by removing the tip legs 3011a and 3011b attached to the tip ends of the stand legs 301a and 301b, and then inserting or detaching the stand legs 301a and 301b into or from the through-tube portions 313a and 313b, respectively.

[0041] Furthermore, in one embodiment of the present invention, the player's name, sponsor's name, other advertisements, etc. can be displayed on the thick cloth portion 311. As emphasized throughout this specification, the banner function provided on the thick cloth portion of the reinforcement according to one embodiment of the present invention is also excellent in terms of ensuring its visibility.

[0042] 4 shows a front view of a golf bag 400 with a stand equipped with a reinforcing member 410 according to one embodiment of the present invention, held in a forward-leaning position. Reference numerals 401a and 401b denote stand legs, and reference numeral 411 denotes a thick cloth portion. It can be seen that thick cloth portion 411 has good visibility when viewed from the front.

[0043] 5 shows a front view of a golf bag 500 with a stand equipped with a reinforcing member 510 according to one embodiment of the present invention, in a vertical position. Reference numerals 501a and 501b denote the stand legs, 503 denotes a ground plate portion that interlocks with the opening and closing member, and 511 denotes a thick cloth portion. Even when the golf bag with a stand is in a vertical position, it can be seen that the thick cloth portion 511 is held at the front without being obstructed by the stand legs or the like, ensuring good visibility.

[0044] 6A to 6D show how a golf bag with stand legs fitted with a reinforcing device according to one embodiment of the present invention is raised from a forward tilted position to a vertical position and then released from the forward tilted position. Since Figures 6A to 6D show a series of steps, the same parts are designated by the same part numbers.

[0045] 6A, golf bag 600 with stand legs, to which reinforcing member 610 has been attached, has been in a forward-leaning position with stand legs 601a and 602b fully spread, but is now being released from this position as handle 609 is grasped and the main body is raised. At this time, stand legs 601a and 602b, which had been in contact with the ground, leave the ground and become floating, but they gradually contract while being restricted by the contact state of the grounding plate (not shown in the figure). In FIG. 6A, it can be seen that the heavy thick cloth portion 611 (particularly the lower portion thereof) is moving toward the main body of the golf bag 600 ahead of the lightweight and flexible thin cloth portions 612a and 612b.

[0046] 6B, it can be seen that the movement of stand legs 601a and 602b in the contracting direction, while being restricted by the contact state of the ground plate portion (not shown in the figure), is trying to catch up with thick cloth portion 611, which is heavy and has a certain degree of stiffness (please pay particular attention to the upper part of thick cloth portion 611). At this time, thin cloth portions 612a and 612b behave flexibly so as not to affect the movement of stand legs 601a and 602b or the movement of thick cloth portion 611. If a material with a low coefficient of friction (i.e., a smooth feel) is used for thin cloth portions 612a and 612b, this flexible behavior of the thin cloth portions becomes even more pronounced.

[0047] In Figure 6C, it can be seen that the movement of stand legs 601a and 602b toward the contraction direction, while being restricted by the contact state of the ground plate portion (not shown in the figure), overtakes thick cloth portion 611, which is heavy and has a certain degree of stiffness, and settles inside thick cloth portion 611 (i.e., closer to the main body of golf bag 600). At this time, in the figure, a part of the thin fabric portion 612b protruding from the thick fabric portion 611 can be seen, but due to the flexibility of the material, the thin fabric portion 612b also behaves in a manner that follows the final movement of the stand leg portion 602b.

[0048] 6D, golf bag 600 is standing in a completely vertical position. At this time, stand legs 601a and 602b are completely contained inside thick cloth portion 611 (i.e., the side closer to the main body of golf bag 600), and it can be seen that thin cloth portions 612a and 612b also follow suit and are completely contained inside thick cloth portion 611 due to their flexibility.

[0049] As shown in Figures 6A to 6D, when the reinforcing device according to one embodiment of the present invention and the golf bag to which the reinforcing device is attached are equipped with a display function as a banner or display device, they exhibit stable display function that is not affected by the open and closed states of the stand legs, or even by the opening and closing operations.

[0050] 7A to 9C show structural variations of a reinforcing tool according to one embodiment of the present invention. Each structural variation is intended to further enhance the effects of the present invention described above, and although these structures are not necessarily essential, they can be effective structural variations depending on the materials used.

[0051] (Strengthened stitching variations) 7A to 7C show variations for strengthening the stitching. FIG. 7A shows the cross-sectional structure of the reinforcing device in the height direction. In FIG. 7A, the stitching at both ends of the thick fabric portion 711 (only one side is shown in the figure) is folded back about twice and sewn into the thin fabric portion 712, which serves as the lining, along the stitching line 713. (These two or so folds are not limiting; they can be folded back one and a half times, two and a half times, or even three or more times, depending on the material.) By sewing in this way, the stiffness of both ends of the thick fabric portion can be maintained or improved, and in the series of movements described with reference to FIGS. 6A to 6D, the movement of the stand legs can easily overtake the movement of the thick fabric portion, which has a certain degree of stiffness.

[0052] Fig. 7B is an explanatory diagram illustrating an example of a region in which the stitching described with reference to Fig. 7A is used. In Fig. 7B, the reinforcement member 720 has about two folded stitchings over the entire area (722a and 722b) at both ends of the thick fabric portion 721. In addition, in FIG. 7C, reinforcing element 730 has about two folded stitches at 732a and 732b, which are portions at height H2 below both ends of thick fabric portion 731 (H2 is about 10 to 50% of the height of the reinforcing element). These variations are adjusted by the materials used and their combinations.

[0053] (Reinforced variation of the upper part of the thick cloth) 8A and 8B show variations in reinforcement achieved by employing a reinforcing material such as a reinforcing plate on the upper part of the thick fabric portion.

[0054] 8A shows a reinforcing element 800 in which a reinforcing plate 802 such as a plastic plate is glued or sewn onto the top of the thick cloth portion 801. At this time, although not shown, it is preferable to gently bend the reinforcing plate 802 so that the front side is generally convex. This processing allows the thick cloth portion 801 to maintain a certain tension and appearance regardless of the state of the golf bag to which the reinforcing element 800 is attached, and also provides high visibility when a name, advertisement, or other display function is provided.

[0055] 8B has a reinforcing plate 812 such as a plastic plate glued or sewn onto the top of its thick cloth portion 811, and riding-up portions 8121a and 8121b that ride up onto the through-tube portion are provided on both ends of the top of the reinforcing plate 812. This structure prevents the thick cloth portion from falling, making it easier for the movement of the stand legs to overtake the movement of the thick cloth portion even in the series of operations described with reference to FIGS. It is preferable that the reinforcing plate 812 is also bent in the same manner as described for the reinforcing plate 802 .

[0056] (Other reinforcement variations on the top of the thick cloth section) 9A to 9C show variations in reinforcement achieved by employing metal wires or specially shaped reinforcing materials in the upper part of the thick fabric portion.

[0057] 9A shows a reinforcing element 910 in which a reinforcing material 912 such as a metal wire is glued or sewn onto the upper part of its thick cloth portion 911. In this case, although not shown, it is preferable to gently bend the reinforcing material 912 so that it is curved in a convex shape toward the front as a whole. This processing allows the thick cloth portion 911 to maintain a certain tension and appearance regardless of the state of the golf bag to which the reinforcing material 912 is attached, and also ensures high visibility when a name, advertisement, or other display function is provided.

[0058] 9B has a reinforcing member 922 such as a C-shaped metal wire adhered or sewn to the upper part of its thick fabric portion 921. It is preferable to perform the bending process described for reinforcing member 912 on reinforcing member 922 as well.

[0059] 9C has a tunnel-shaped or plate-shaped reinforcing member 932 with a mountain-shaped cutout in the center adhered or sewn to the top of thick fabric portion 931. It is preferable to bend reinforcing member 932 as well, as explained for reinforcing member 912.

[0060] [combination] The features described in this specification (including the claims, abstract, and drawings) may be combined in any combination except combinations in which these features are mutually exclusive.

[0061] [Examples of features and elements] Each feature or element (such as dimensions, material, shape, relative position of components, etc.) described in this specification (including the claims, abstract, and drawings) may be replaced by an alternative element serving the same, equivalent, or similar purpose, unless expressly stated otherwise. Thus, unless expressly stated otherwise, each disclosed element is merely one example of a generic series of identical or equivalent features. [Explanation of symbols]
