DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0009] (Findings that formed the basis of this disclosure) At the time the inventors conceived the present disclosure, a clothes dryer was available that included a heat pump device including a compressor that compresses a refrigerant and a heat exchanger connected to the compressor via a pipe, and a case that accommodated the heat pump device. The heat pump device and case of this clothes dryer are located in a drying path that is connected to a storage tub that accommodates clothes. When the heat pump device operates during the clothes dryer's drying operation, air from the storage tub flows into the case, and the air that flows into the case is dehumidified and heated by passing through the heat exchanger. When the clothes dryer performs repeated drying operations, lint, including lint generated by the clothes stored in the storage tub, flows into the case along with the air and adheres to and accumulates on the fins of the heat exchanger. When lint accumulates in the heat exchanger, the amount of air that can pass through the heat exchanger decreases, which can result in a reduction in drying performance, such as an increase in the time required for drying.
[0010] In order to prevent a decrease in drying performance, it is desirable to perform maintenance on the heat pump device, such as removing lint from the heat exchanger. The inventors discovered a problem in that the heat pump device must be removed upward from the case in order to perform maintenance on the heat pump device, and this problem led to the subject matter of the present disclosure.
[0011] Therefore, the present disclosure provides a jig and system that improves workability in maintenance of a heat pump unit in a clothes dryer by lifting the heat pump unit.
[0012] Hereinafter, embodiments will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. However, unnecessary detailed description may be omitted. For example, detailed description of well-known matters or redundant description of substantially the same configuration may be omitted.
[0013] The accompanying drawings and the following description are provided to enable those skilled in the art to fully understand the present disclosure, and are not intended to limit the subject matter described in the claims.
[0014] (Embodiment 1) Hereinafter, the first embodiment will be described with reference to Figures 1 to 15. In the first embodiment, a washer-dryer 100 will be described as an example of a clothes dryer.
[0015] [1-1.Configuration] The maintenance system (not shown) in the first embodiment includes a washer-dryer 100 and a jig 200.
[0016] [1-1-1. Washer / Dryer Configuration] (Washer / dryer 100) 1, the washer-dryer 100 includes a housing 101. The housing 101 is a member that forms the outer shell of the washer-dryer 100, and includes a top surface 101a that forms the top surface of the washer-dryer 100.
[0017] Housing 101 contains water tub 102, which has an open front and is arranged to be able to store water within housing 101, and washing tub 103, which is arranged to be able to rotate within water tub 102. The peripheral wall of washing tub 103 is provided with a large number of air vents 103a that communicate between the inside and outside of washing tub 103. Air vents 103a allow air to freely flow in and out between water tub 102 and washing tub 103.
[0018] Motor 105 is provided at the lower inside of housing 101. Motor 105 is connected to washing tub 103 via belt 106 and pulley 107. When motor 105 is driven to rotate, washing tub 103 rotates.
[0019] A door 108 for opening and closing the opening of the water tank 102 is provided on the front surface of the housing 101. When the door 108 is closed, the inside of the housing 101 is sealed.
[0020] (Drying mechanism 110) A drying mechanism 110 is provided in an upper interior portion of the housing 101. The drying mechanism 110 includes an inlet-side path 111, an outlet-side path 112, a drying filter 113, and a heat pump unit 120.
[0021] Inlet path 111 and outlet path 112 are paths that connect water tub 102 and heat pump unit 120. Inlet path 111 is a path through which air flows into heat pump unit 120 from the top of water tub 102. A dry filter 113 is provided in the middle of inlet path 111 to collect lint such as thread waste contained in the air that flows from water tub 102 into heat pump unit 120.
[0022] Outlet path 112 is a path through which air passes when it flows out from heat pump unit 120 to the back of water tub 102. Outlet path 112 includes fan case 114 that houses blower fan 115. Fan case 114 is provided downstream of heat pump unit 120. When blower fan 115 is driven, a current of air is generated that flows out of water tub 102, passes through inlet path 111, heat pump unit 120, and outlet path 112 in that order, and then flows into water tub 102.
[0023] 2, the heat pump unit 120 is located below the top surface 101a. When the top surface 101a is removed from the washer-dryer 100, the heat pump unit 120 is exposed on the upper surface.
[0024] [1-1-2. Configuration of the heat pump unit in a washer / dryer] (Heat pump unit 120) As shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, the heat pump unit 120 has a case body 121, a case lid 122, and a heat pump device .
[0025] Case body 121 is formed in a generally box shape with an open top, and houses heat pump device 130. Case lid 122 closes the opening on the top of case body 121 and covers the upper side of heat pump device 130. An inlet-side connection port 121c to which inlet-side path 111 is connected is provided on the front surface of case body 121, and an outlet-side connection port 121d to which fan case 114 of outlet-side path 112 is connected is provided on the back surface of case body 121.
[0026] The heat pump unit 130 is inserted into the case body 121 from above downward, thereby accommodating the heat pump unit 130 inside. The case body 121 includes a compressor accommodating section 121e that accommodates a compressor 131 (described later) of the heat pump unit 130, and a heat exchanger accommodating section 121f that accommodates a heat exchanger 132 (described later) of the heat pump unit 130. The case body 121 also has a pair of insertion grooves 121g, one at the front and one at the back, that stand upward from the bottom surface of the case body 121. Heat exchanger end portions 132a, which correspond to the front and rear end surfaces of the heat exchanger 132 (described later), are inserted from above into the insertion grooves 121g.
[0027] (heat pump device 130) 1 and 3, heat pump device 130 includes compressor 131 that compresses a refrigerant, heat exchanger 132 that dehumidifies and heats air, and pipe 135 (FIG. 3) that connects compressor 131 and heat exchanger 132 and through which the refrigerant passes. Heat exchanger 132 includes an evaporator 133 that dehumidifies the air and a condenser 134 that heats the air.
[0028] As shown in FIG. 1, the low-temperature, high-humidity air that has removed moisture from the laundry in the water tub 102 passes through the drying filter 113 to remove lint, then passes through the evaporator 133 of the heat exchanger 132 to be dehumidified and become low-temperature, low-humidity air, and then passes through the condenser 134 to be heated and become high-temperature, low-humidity air, which then passes through the outlet path 112 and flows back into the water tub 102.
[0029] Although most of the lint is removed by the drying filter 113, some fine lint is not captured by the drying filter 113 and adheres to the front surfaces of the fins 133a of the evaporator 133 of the heat exchanger 132. When lint adheres to and accumulates on the front surfaces of the fins 133a, the flow rate of air that can pass through the evaporator 133 decreases, and drying performance deteriorates. Therefore, maintenance is required, such as lifting the heat exchanger 132 upward from the case body 121 and cleaning the front surfaces of the fins 133a to remove the adhered lint.
[0030] [1-1-3. Jig configuration] Hereinafter, the jig 200 used when lifting the heat pump unit 130 from the case body 121 will be described with reference to FIGS.
[0031] (Jig 200) As shown in FIGS. 4 to 6, the jig 200 includes a main body portion 210, a first holding portion 230, and a second holding portion 240. The main body portion 210 has a first support portion 230 and a second support portion 240. The first support portion 230 is a support portion for supporting the jig 200. As shown in FIGS.
[0032] (Main body 210) The main body 210 includes a cover 211, a grip 212, a slide plate 213, and a hook 215 that is hung on the heat pump device 130 when the heat pump device 130 is lifted.
[0033] The cover part 211 is provided to extend in the horizontal direction. The cover part 211 is provided with a plurality of screw holes for screwing other components. The grip part 212 is attached to the cover part 211 from above and is fixed to the cover part 211 by screws. The slide plate 213 is attached to the upper surface of the cover part 211. The slide plate 213 is provided to be slidable in the left-right direction relative to the cover part 211.
[0034] The hook portion 215 includes a first hook portion 216 and a second hook portion 217 .
[0035] The first hook 216 includes a first hook plate 216a and a first hook screw 216b. The hanging portion flat plate 216a is attached from below to extend downward relative to the cover portion 211. The first hanging portion screw 216b is inserted horizontally into a first hanging portion hole 216c provided in the first hanging portion flat plate 216a, and protrudes horizontally from the first hanging portion flat plate 216a.
[0036] The second hook 217 is attached to the cover part 211 so as to be rotatable in the horizontal direction. The second hook 217 is provided in a hook shape including a second hook first part 217a extending in the vertical direction and a second hook second part 217b bent at the lower end of the second hook first part 217a and extending in the horizontal direction. The second hook first part 217a also protrudes upward from the cover part 211 and is fastened by a second hook fixing part 217c above the cover part 211, thereby preventing the second hook 217 from falling off the cover part 211.
[0037] (First holding part 230) The first holding portion 230 includes a substantially rod-shaped first main holding portion 231 and a first holding portion screw 232 attached to the first main holding portion 231 .
[0038] The first main retaining part 231 is attached by being inserted from above into a main body part through-hole 210a provided in the main body part 210. When attached to the main body part 210, the first main retaining part 231 protrudes in the vertical direction and is provided so as to be slidable in the vertical direction and rotatable in the horizontal direction. A handle 231a protruding horizontally from the first main retaining part 231 is provided at the top of the first main retaining part 231. The first main retaining part screw 232 is attached to a first main retaining part screw hole 231b provided in the first main retaining part 231. When attached to the first main retaining part 231, the first main retaining part screw 232 protrudes horizontally.
[0039] (Second holding part 240) The second holding portion 240 includes a second main holding portion 241 that is substantially rod-shaped, and a second holding fixing screw 242 .
[0040] The second main holding portion 241 is provided at its lower end with a bifurcated branch portion 241a.
[0041] The second main holding part 241 is attached to the slide plate 213 from below. The second holding fixing screw 242 is inserted from above into a slide plate through-hole 213a (shown in FIG. 15) provided in the slide plate 213, and fastened to the second main holding part 241. This attaches the second holding part 240 to the main body part 210. When attached to the main body part 210, the second holding part protrudes in the vertical direction.
[0042] Since the slide plate 213 is provided in the main body 210 so as to be slidable in the left-right direction relative to the cover 211, the second holding portion 240 is also movable in the left-right direction.
[0043] [1-2. Operation] The operation will be described below with reference to Figures 7 to 15. For simplicity, Figures 7 to 13 illustrate the state in which the heat pump unit 120 is removed from the washer-dryer 100, but in practice, the operation may be performed with the heat pump unit 120 attached to the washer-dryer 100.
[0044] [1-2-1. Operation when lifting the heat pump unit with a jig] 7 to 11, the operation of lifting the heat pump unit 130 from the case body 121 by the jig 200 will be described.
[0045] (Step 1: Attach the jig 200 to the heat pump device 130) As shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, with the heat pump unit 130 housed in the case body 121, the jig 200 is placed on the heat pump unit 130, and the first holding portion 230 is attached to the main body 210. At this time, the cover portion 211 is positioned mainly above the heat exchanger 132 of the heat pump unit 130, and the lower end portion 231c of the first main holding portion 231 is placed on a support surface 121h provided on a shelf surface of the case body 121. The support surface 121h is located between the compressor housing portion 121e and the heat exchanger housing portion 121f, and is higher than the bottom surfaces of the compressor housing portion 121e and the heat exchanger housing portion 121f. At this time, as shown in FIG. 9, the first hanging portion screw 216b of the first hanging portion 216 is hung in a through-hole of a first hanging portion 131a provided on the compressor 131.
[0046] 10, the second hanging portion 217 is rotated horizontally and hung on the second hanging portion 132b provided on the side surface of the heat exchanger 132. The second hanging portion 132b is a part of the pipeline 135. In this manner, the first hanging portion 216 is hung on the first hanging portion 131a, and the second hanging portion 217 is hung on the second hanging portion 132b, whereby the jig 200 is attached to the heat pump unit 130.
[0047] (Step 2: Lifting the heat pump device 130 with the jig 200) As shown in Figures 9 and 10, when the first hanging portion 216 is hung on the first hanging portion 131a and the second hanging portion 217 is hung on the second hanging portion 132b, by lifting the gripping portion 212 upward, the heat pump unit 130 can be lifted upward from the case main body 121, as shown in Figure 11.
[0048] In the heat pump device 130, the compressor 131 is approximately three times heavier than the heat exchanger 132. Therefore, by hanging the first hanging portion 216 on the first hanging portion 131a provided on the compressor 131, when the heat pump device 130 is lifted by the jig 200, a large force is applied to the first hanging portion, and the force applied to the second hanging portion 132b provided on the heat exchanger 132 can be reduced. Therefore, damage to the pipe 135 in which the second hanging portion 132b is provided can be reduced, and refrigerant leakage from the pipe 135 can be reduced.
[0049] The first hanging portion screw 216b of the first hanging portion 216 and the second hanging portion second portion 217b of the second hanging portion 217 extend in different directions when hooked on the first hanging portion 131a and the second hanging portion 132b, respectively. This prevents the first hanging portion 216 and the second hanging portion 217 from coming off the first hanging portion 131a and the second hanging portion 132b when the jig 200 is attached to the heat pump unit 130.
[0050] Furthermore, the first hanging portion 131a and the second hanging portion 132b are respectively provided on the compressor 131 and the heat exchanger 132, which are heavy members in the heat pump unit 130. This allows the heat pump unit 130 to be lifted stably when it is lifted by the jig 200.
[0051] [1-2-2. Operation when holding the heat pump device with a jig] 12 to 15, the operation of the jig 200 when the heat pump unit 130 is held in a state lifted from the case body 121 will be described.
[0052] (Step 3: Holding the heat pump unit 130 in the first holding section 230) In step 2, with the heat pump device 130 lifted by the jig 200, the first holding part 230 is rotated clockwise as shown in Fig. 12 so that the first holding part screw 232 of the first holding part 230 is positioned below the grip part 212. Thereafter, the grip part 212 is placed on the first holding part screw 232, and the heat pump device 130 is held in a state lifted from the case body 121 by the first holding part 230. At this time, 13, the first holding part 230 is placed on the support surface 121h of the case main body 121, so that the weight of the heat pump unit 130 is supported by the case main body 121 via the first holding part 230. The first holding part 230 is attached to the main body 210 so as to be located approximately at the center of gravity of the heat pump unit 130.
[0053] (Step 4: Attaching the second holding part 240 to the heat pump device 130) Next, as shown in FIG. 14, the second holding part 240 is attached to the main body 210. First, the branch part 241a of the second main holding part 241 is placed on the side wall of the case main body 121. Next, the second main holding part 241 is positioned vertically below the slide plate through-hole 213a, and then the second fixing screw 242 is attached to the second main holding part 241 from above the slide plate 213 and fixed. As a result, as shown in FIG. 15, the heat pump unit 130 can be held in a lifted state by the second holding part 240. Note that the weight of the heat pump unit 130 is thereby supported by the side wall of the case main body 121 via the second holding part 240.
[0054] (Step 5. Hold the heat pump device 130 in the lifted position) As described above, first holding portion 230 and second holding portion 240 hold heat pump device 130 in a state in which it is lifted upward from case body 121. This allows maintenance of heat exchanger 132 while heat pump device 130 is held in a state in which it is lifted from case body 121. Furthermore, even when heat pump unit 120 is attached to washer-dryer 100, by holding heat pump device 130 in a state in which it is lifted from case body 121, maintenance of heat exchanger 132 can be performed from the front of washer-dryer 100 without removing heat pump unit 120 from washer-dryer 100.
[0055] When the jig 200 is attached to the heat pump device 130, the first holding part 230 is provided between the compressor 131 and the heat exchanger 132, and the second holding part 240 is provided at a position approximately diagonal to the first holding part 230 with respect to the heat exchanger 132. This allows the weight of the heat pump device 130 to be stably supported.
[0056] [1-3. Effects, etc.] As described above, in this embodiment, jig 200 is a jig for lifting heat pump device 130 from case body 121 of washer-dryer 100 (clothes dryer), which includes heat pump device 130 including compressor 131 that compresses refrigerant, pipe 135 in which refrigerant is sealed, and heat exchanger 132 connected to compressor 131 by pipe 135, and case body 121 (case) that houses heat pump device 130, and is provided with main body portion 210 that covers the top of heat pump device 130, hanging portion 215 provided on main body portion 210 and hung on heat pump device 130, and gripping portion 212 for lifting main body portion 210 upward.
[0057] This allows heat pump unit 130 to be lifted from case body 121 that houses heat pump unit 130. This improves workability in maintenance of heat pump unit 130 of washer-dryer 100. When case body 121 and heat pump unit 130 are provided on the top of washer-dryer 100, heat pump unit 130 can be lifted from case body 121 while case body 121 remains attached to washer-dryer 100, which improves workability in maintenance of the heat pump unit of washer-dryer 100 (clothes dryer).
[0058] As in this embodiment, the jig 200 may include, as the hanging portion 215, a first hanging portion 216 that is hung on a first hanging portion 131a provided on the compressor 131.
[0059] In this way, by providing the first hanging portion 131a to the compressor 131, which is heavy in the heat pump device 130, when the heat pump device 130 is lifted, the first hanging portion 131a can be easily attached to other members. In particular, when the hanging portion 215 is hung on the pipeline 135 in addition to the first hung portion 131a, the force applied from the hanging portion 215 to the pipeline 135 can be reduced, and damage to the pipeline 135 can be suppressed.
[0060] As in this embodiment, the jig 200 may further include, as the hanging portion 215, a second hanging portion 217 that is hung on a second hanging portion 132b provided in a diagonal position of the compressor 131 in the heat exchanger 132.
[0061] As a result, the hanging portion 215 is hung on the heavy compressor 131 in the heat pump device 130 and on a diagonal position of the compressor 131 in the heat exchanger 132, so that the heat pump device 130 can be lifted stably when being lifted by the jig 200.
[0062] As in this embodiment, the first hook portion 216 may be provided so as to extend in a different direction from the second hook portion 217 in the horizontal direction.
[0063] This makes it possible to prevent the first hanging portion 216 and the second hanging portion 217 from coming off the first hanging portion 131a and the second hanging portion 132b, respectively, even when the heat pump unit 130 is lifted by the jig 200.
[0064] As in this embodiment, the jig 200 further includes a first holding portion 230 that holds the heat pump device 130 in a lifted state from the case main body 121, and the first holding portion 230 has a first main holding portion 231 that protrudes in the vertical direction from the main body portion 210 and a first holding portion screw 232 that protrudes laterally from the first main holding portion 231, and when the heat pump device 130 is in a lifted state, the first main holding portion 231 may be placed on the case main body 121 and the first holding portion screw 232 may hold the gripping portion 212.
[0065] As a result, the first holding portion 230 can hold the heat pump device 130 in a state where it is lifted up from the case body 121. Therefore, the worker does not need to hold the heat pump device 130 in a lifted state, and maintenance of the heat pump device 130 can be easily performed.
[0066] As in this embodiment, the first holding portion 230 may be arranged to be rotatable horizontally relative to the main body portion 210, and the first holding portion screw 232 may be able to hold the grip portion 212 by rotating the first holding main portion 231.
[0067] This makes it easy to attach the first holding portion screw 232 to the gripping portion 212, improving workability.
[0068] As in this embodiment, the first holding portion 230 may be placed on the case body 121 between the compressor 131 and the heat exchanger 132.
[0069] As a result, the heat pump device 130 is held between the compressor 131 and the heat exchanger 132, which are heavy in the heat pump device 130, and therefore the heat pump device 130 can be held stably.
