Abstract
To provide a water closet capable of downsizing a water storage tank.SOLUTION: A water closet according to an embodiment discharges waste with wash water. The water closet includes a toilet bowl body and a tank device. The toilet bowl body has a bowl part that receives the waste. The tank device discharges the wash water to the bowl part. The tank device includes a water storage tank, a pump, and a suction tube. The water storage tank stores the wash water. The pump pressure-feeds the wash water from the water storage tank to the bowl part. The suction tube is disposed in the water storage tank and guides the wash water in the water storage tank to the pump when the pump is actuated. The toilet bowl body includes a recess that is depressed downward at a part of a portion facing the bottom of the water storage tank. A reservoir part to be inserted into the recess is formed at the bottom of the water storage tank. The reservoir part is formed so as to include a suction port of the suction tube in plan view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
