Peripheral vehicle recognition system

Abstract

To provide a peripheral vehicle recognition system capable of making moving experience by a vehicle special experience for all occupants and creating an opportunity for interaction with the occupant of a peripheral vehicle.SOLUTION: A peripheral vehicle recognition system includes: peripheral vehicle detection / recognition means 11 that detects and recognizes a peripheral vehicle; identity confirmation means 21 that identifies the peripheral vehicle by confirming identity of the peripheral vehicle recognized by the peripheral vehicle detection / recognition means 11 with the peripheral vehicle recognized by a mobile terminal 4 operated by an occupant of an own vehicle 1; and display control means 22 that controls display of an in-vehicle display 6. The display control means 22 is made to simultaneously display a real-time display 41 for displaying the peripheral vehicle recognized by the peripheral vehicle detection / recognition means 11 in real time and a catch list display 42 of the peripheral vehicle recognized by the mobile terminal 4 and confirmed to be identical by the identity confirmation means 21 in one screen of the in-vehicle display 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
