Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a control panel and a machine tool. [Background technology]
[0002] A control panel including a storage box that stores electrical components for controlling a machine tool is known. The control panel described in Patent Document 1 includes an insertion hole and a clamping member. The insertion hole is provided in a predetermined wall that constitutes the storage box. An electric wire is inserted through the insertion hole. The clamping member has a first clamping portion and a second clamping portion. The clamping member clamps the electric wire between the first clamping portion and the second clamping portion. The first clamping portion includes a first fixed plate and an elastic member. With the clamping member clamping the electric wire, the first fixed plate is fixed to the predetermined wall. The elastic member is provided between the first fixed plate and the predetermined wall. The second clamping portion is fixed to the predetermined wall. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0003] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 2022-156269 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] In the above-described control panel, when a user clamps an electric wire with the clamping member, the user moves the first clamping portion toward the second clamping portion. At this time, the elastic member may slide against the predetermined wall and become deformed. When the clamping member clamps the electric wire with the deformed elastic member and the first fixed wall is fixed to the predetermined wall, a small gap may be formed between the elastic member and the predetermined wall. In this case, dust generated during machining by the machine tool may enter the inside of the storage box through the gap.
[0005] An object of the present invention is to provide a control panel and a machine tool that can prevent dust from entering the inside of a storage box. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] The control panel of the first aspect is characterized by comprising: a storage box that stores electrical components that control a machine tool within a space surrounded by a plurality of wall portions; an insertion hole provided in a specified wall that is part of the plurality of wall portions and through which an electric wire electrically connected to the electric component can be inserted; a first clamping portion fixed to the inner surface of the specified wall; a second clamping portion provided on the inner surface and clamping the electric wire between itself and the first clamping portion; a cover having a first blocking wall that blocks part of the insertion hole from the outer surface of the specified wall; and an elastic sealing member provided on the first blocking wall and sandwiched between the first blocking wall and the second clamping portion.
[0007] In the first aspect, the sealing member is provided on the first closing wall of the cover. Therefore, when the second clamping portion is fixed to the inner surface of the predetermined wall, the sealing member does not slide relative to the predetermined wall. Therefore, the sealing member does not deform to create a gap between the second clamping portion and the predetermined wall, and closes the gap between the predetermined wall and the second clamping portion. Therefore, the control panel can prevent dust generated by machining by the machine tool from entering the inside of the storage box.
[0008] In a first aspect, the cover may have a cover extension wall extending from the first blocking wall toward the outside of the storage box in a direction intersecting the predetermined wall, and a second blocking wall extending from the outward end of the cover extension wall and blocking the insertion hole when viewed from the outside. In this manner, the insertion hole is blocked by the second blocking wall when viewed from the outside. Therefore, the control panel can prevent dust flying outside the storage box from reaching the insertion hole while ensuring a path to the insertion hole for the electric wire passing through the cover.
[0009] In a first aspect, the storage box may include a fixed wall connected to the predetermined wall and fixed to a machine part that processes a workpiece in the machine tool, the insertion hole being provided near a connection end of the predetermined wall that connects to the fixed wall, and the cover may have a box body including the cover extension wall and the second blocking wall, and a guide hole provided in the box body that opens toward the machine part. In this configuration, since the cover is box-shaped and the guide hole opens toward the machine part, dust flying outside the storage box cannot reach the insertion hole unless it passes through the gap between the cover and the machine part. Therefore, the control panel can prevent dust flying outside the storage box from reaching the insertion hole while ensuring a path to the insertion hole for the electric wire passing through the cover.
[0010] In a first aspect, the first clamping portion may include a first extending wall extending in the extension direction of the predetermined wall and in a direction intersecting the predetermined wall, and a first side wall and a second side wall provided on the first extending wall and extending intersecting the extension direction and spaced apart from each other in the extension direction. The second clamping portion may include a second extending wall extending in the extension direction and the intersecting direction, and a first protruding portion and a second protruding portion protruding from both ends of the second extending wall in the extension direction, respectively. The first side wall may be provided with a first fitting portion that fits with the first protruding portion, and the second side wall may be provided with a second fitting portion that fits with the second protruding portion. According to this, when the first clamping portion and the second clamping portion clamp an electric wire, the first protruding portion fits with the first fitting portion, and the second protruding portion fits with the second fitting portion. This restricts the second clamping portion from moving away from the first clamping portion. Therefore, the control panel can stably clamp the electric wire between the first clamping portion and the second clamping portion without the second clamping portion separating from the first clamping portion due to the reaction force from the electric wire. Furthermore, when the first protruding portion engages with the first fitting portion and the second protruding portion engages with the second fitting portion, the second clamping portion separates from the inner surface of the specified wall. Therefore, when the second clamping portion clamps the electric wire between itself and the first clamping portion, it is less likely to slide against the seal member. Therefore, the seal member does not deform to create a gap between the second clamping portion and the specified wall, and instead closes the gap between the specified wall and the second clamping portion. Therefore, the control panel can prevent dust generated by machining by the machine tool from entering the inside of the storage box.
[0011] A machine tool according to a second aspect is characterized by including the control panel according to any one of the first aspects. The second aspect has the same effects as the first aspect. [Brief explanation of the drawings]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0013] An embodiment of the present invention will be described below. In the following description, left and right, front and rear, and up and down will be used as indicated by arrows in the drawings. The left and right directions, front and rear directions, and up and down directions of the machine tool 1 correspond to the X-axis direction, Y-axis direction, and Z-axis direction of the machine tool 1, respectively. The orientation of the control panel 20 also follows this pattern.
[0014] The structure of machine tool 1 will be described with reference to Figure 1. Machine tool 1 is a vertical machine tool with a spindle 9 extending in the Z-axis direction. Machine tool 1 comprises a base 2, a machine section 5, a spindle 9, a machine cover (not shown), and a control panel 20. Base 2 is an iron base. Machine section 5 is provided at the upper rear of base 2. Machine section 5 rotatably holds spindle 9. Tool 3 is attached to spindle 9, and it performs cutting processes on a workpiece (not shown) fixed to the top of work table 13. Work table 13 is provided at the upper front of base 2. A machine cover is fixed to the top of base 2, and surrounds the machine section 5 and work table 13.
[0015] The structure of the control panel 20 will be described with reference to Figures 2 to 12. As shown in Figures 2 and 3, the control panel 20 comprises a storage box 21, a cover 30, a sealing member 26 (see Figure 6), a first clamping unit 40, and a second clamping unit 50. The storage box 21 is substantially rectangular parallelepiped-shaped and is provided at the rear of the machine unit 5 (see Figure 1). The storage box 21 stores electrical components 90 that control the machine tool 1. The electrical components 90 are, for example, an input / output board, a control board, a DC switching power supply, a breaker, an inverter, a servo amplifier, etc. The electrical components 90 are driven by receiving power from a power source external to the machine tool 1.
[0016] The storage box 21 has a front wall 211, a lower wall 212, an upper wall 213, a right wall 214, and a left wall 215. The front wall 211 extends perpendicular to the front-to-rear direction. The front wall 211 is fixed to the rear of the machine unit 5. The lower wall 212 extends rearward from the lower end of the front wall 211. The front end of the lower wall 212 connected to the front wall 211 is called the connecting end 219. The upper wall 213 extends rearward from the upper end of the front wall 211. The right wall 214 extends rearward from the right end of the front wall 211 and connects to the right end of the lower wall 212 and the right end of the upper wall 213. The left wall 215 extends rearward from the left end of the front wall 211 and connects to the left end of the lower wall 212 and the left end of the upper wall 213.
[0017] The storage box 21 is provided with an opening 22 that opens the storage box 21 to the rear. The storage box 21 is equipped with a door 23 that opens and closes the opening 22. For example, when inspecting the control panel 20, an operator opens the door 23 and inspects, replaces, repairs, etc., the various electrical components 90. A grip 24 that can switch between locking and unlocking the door 23 is provided on the lower left side of the door 23. The grip 24 is gripped by the operator when opening or closing the door 23, and switches between locking and unlocking the door 23 in response to the operator's operation.
[0018] An insertion hole 25 is provided in the right front portion of the lower wall 212, penetrating the lower wall 212 in the up-down direction. The insertion hole 25 is provided near the connection end 219 of the lower wall 212. In this embodiment, "the insertion hole 25 is provided near the connection end 219" means that the insertion hole 25 is provided in the lower wall 212 between the center of the lower wall 212 in the front-to-rear direction and the connection end 219. The insertion hole 25 has a rectangular shape that is longer in the left-to-right direction than in the front-to-rear direction when viewed from the bottom. An electric wire W (see FIG. 12 ) extending from the mechanical part 5 or the like is inserted through the insertion hole 25. The electric wire W enters the inside of the storage box 21 through the insertion hole 25 and is electrically connected to the electrical component 90.
[0019] As shown in Figures 3 to 5, the cover 30 is provided on the lower surface of the bottom wall 212 and is disposed outside the storage box 21. The cover 30 has a box body 31 and a joint wall 32. The box body 31 includes a bottom wall 312, a rear wall 311, a right wall 314, and a left wall 315. The bottom wall 312 extends perpendicular to the up-down direction and is spaced rearward from the bottom wall 212 of the storage box 21. The bottom wall 312 has a rectangular shape that is longer in the left-right direction than in the front-to-back direction in a bottom view. The front end of the bottom wall 312 is located at approximately the same position as the front end of the insertion hole 25 in a bottom view. The rear end of the bottom wall 312 is located slightly forward of the rear end of the insertion hole 25 in a bottom view. The right end of the bottom wall 312 is located slightly leftward of the right end of the insertion hole 25 in a bottom view. The left end of the bottom wall 312 is located slightly rightward of the left end of the insertion hole 25 in a bottom view. That is, the lower wall 312 blocks a part of the insertion hole 25 in a bottom view. In the present invention, the expression "blocking" a part of the insertion hole 25 in a bottom view by the lower wall 312 means that the part of the insertion hole 25 is covered so as not to be visible when viewed from the direction in which the insertion hole 25 opens, that is, when viewed from the bottom.
[0020] The rear wall 311 extends upward from the rear end of the lower wall 312. The right wall 314 extends upward from the right end of the lower wall 312 and connects to the right end of the rear wall 311. The left wall 315 extends upward from the left end of the lower wall 312 and connects to the left end of the rear wall 311. The vertical height of the rear wall 311, the vertical height of the right wall 314, and the vertical height of the left wall 315 are approximately the same. A guide hole 38 and a communication hole 39 are provided in the box body 31. The guide hole 38 opens the box body 31 forward toward the mechanical unit 5. The communication hole 39 opens the box body 31 upward toward the insertion hole 25. Due to the positional relationship of the insertion hole 25 in the lower wall 212, the front end of the box body 31 is close to the rear end of the mechanical unit 5 (see Figure 1). The electric wire W enters the inside of the box body 31 through the guide hole 38, and passes through the communication hole 39 and the insertion hole 25 to enter the inside of the storage box 21.
[0021] The joint wall 32 includes a right extension portion 321, a left extension portion 322, and a rear extension portion 323. The right extension portion 321 extends rightward from the upper end of the right wall 314. The right end of the right extension portion 321 is located rightward of the right end of the insertion hole 25. The left extension portion 322 extends rightward from the upper end of the left wall 315. The rear extension portion 323 extends rearward from the upper end of the rear wall 311. The left end of the left extension portion 322 is located leftward of the left end of the insertion hole 25. The right end of the rear extension portion 323 is located rightward of the right end of the rear wall 311, and the right front end of the rear extension portion 323 is connected to the rear end of the right extension portion 321. The left end of the rear extending portion 323 is located to the left of the left end of the rear wall 311, and the left front end of the rear extending portion 323 is connected to the rear end of the left extending portion 322. The rear end of the rear extending portion 323 is located rearward of the rear end of the insertion hole 25.
[0022] The joint wall 32 closes a portion of the insertion hole 25 in a bottom view. The portion of the joint wall 32 that closes the insertion hole 25 is called a closing portion 33. The insertion hole 25 is closed by the joint wall 32 and the bottom wall 312 in a bottom view. The joint wall 32 is fixed to the lower surface of the bottom wall 212.
[0023] As shown in Figure 6, the seal member 26 is provided over the entire upper surface of the closing portion 33 of the joint wall 32. The seal member 26 is elastic and is made of, for example, silicone rubber. The seal member 26 has a U-shape that opens forward in plan view. The seal member 26 is fixed to the upper surface of the closing portion 33 with an adhesive. The upper end of the seal member 26 protrudes above the lower wall 212 through the insertion hole 25.

The lower end of the first protruding portion 522 is located below the rear upper edge 4122 and is at approximately the same position as the bottom of the first fitting portion 422 in the up-down direction.
[0037] The second protruding portion 523 protrudes leftward from the upper left end of the second extending wall 511. The second protruding portion 523 is a rectangular plate that extends more in the left-right direction than in the up-down direction. The left end of the second protruding portion 523 is located to the left of the second side wall 413. The lower end of the second protruding portion 523 is located below the rear upper edge 4132 and is at approximately the same position as the bottom of the second fitting portion 423 in the up-down direction.
[0038] The second elastic member 70 has elasticity and is fixed to the front surface of the second extending wall 511 with an adhesive. The second elastic member 70 includes a lower elastic portion 71, an upper elastic portion 72, a right elastic portion 73, and a left elastic portion 74. The lower elastic portion 71 is provided at the lower end of the front surface of the second extending wall 511. The upper elastic portion 72 is provided at the upper part of the front surface of the second extending wall 511. The lower elastic portion 71 and the upper elastic portion 72 are shaped like a rectangular parallelepiped extending in the left-right direction.
[0039] The right elastic portion 73 is provided at the right end of the front surface of the second extending wall 511. The left elastic portion 74 is provided at the left end of the front surface of the second extending wall 511. The right elastic portion 73 and the left elastic portion 74 have a rectangular parallelepiped shape extending in the vertical direction. The right elastic portion 73 connects to the right end of the lower elastic portion 71 and the right end of the upper elastic portion 72. The left elastic portion 74 connects to the left end of the lower elastic portion 71 and the left end of the upper elastic portion 72. When the second clamping portion 50 is attached to the lower wall 212, the lower elastic portion 71 contacts the lower elastic portion 61 from behind. The upper elastic portion 72 contacts the upper elastic portion 62 from behind. The right elastic portion 73 contacts the right elastic portion 63 from behind. The left elastic portion 74 contacts the left elastic portion 64 from behind.
[0040] 10 to 12, clamping of the electric wire W by the first clamping unit 40 and the second clamping unit 50 will be described. When the electric wire W is inserted through the insertion hole 25, the cover 30 is fixed to the lower surface of the lower wall 212, and the first clamping unit 40 is fixed to the upper surface of the lower wall 212. The electric wire W passes through the gap between the box body 31 and the mechanical unit 5 (see FIG. 1) and enters the inside of the box body 31 via the guide hole 38. After passing through the guide hole 38, the electric wire W extends upward and passes through the communication hole 39 and the insertion hole 25 to enter the inside of the storage box 21. The electric wire W is fixed to the fixing plate 433 by a cable tie inserted through the fixing hole 436. The electric wire W is arranged behind the first elastic member 60.
[0041] Next, bolts (not shown) are inserted through the elongated holes 516 and 517 and temporarily fastened to screw holes provided in the bottom wall 212. The second clamping unit 50 is located rearward of the insertion hole 25 (see FIG. 10 ) and is movable in the front-to-rear direction while being guided by the elongated holes 516 and 517. The second clamping unit 50 moves forward relative to the bottom wall 212 until the second elastic member 70 comes into contact with the first elastic member 60.
[0042] The first protruding portion 522 slides forward on the rear upper edge 4122, and the second protruding portion 523 slides forward on the rear upper edge 4132. Since the first protruding portion 522 rides up on the rear upper edge 4122 and the second protruding portion 523 rides up on the rear upper edge 4132, the front end of the lower wall 512 is positioned above the seal member 26.
[0043] The first protruding portion 522, which has slid over the rear upper edge 4122, fits into the first fitting portion 422, and the second protruding portion 523, which has slid over the rear upper edge 4132, fits into the second fitting portion 423 (see FIG. 11 ). The lower wall 512 comes into contact with the sealing member 26 from above, and the sealing member 26 is sandwiched between the lower wall 512 and the closing portion 33 of the joint wall 32. In a side view that is the opening direction of the gap between the lower wall 512 and the lower wall 212, the sealing member 26 covers the gap between the lower wall 512 and the lower wall 212. In other words, the sealing member 26 closes the gap between the lower wall 512 and the lower wall 212. At this time, the first elastic member 60 and the second elastic member 70 sandwich the electric wire W.
[0044] The bottom wall 512, which was temporarily fastened, is now fixed to the bottom wall 212. A bolt (not shown) is inserted through the groove 54 and fastened to the screw hole of the high nut 44. This fixes the first clamping part 40 and the second clamping part 50 together. Because the insertion hole 25 is covered by the cover 30 in a bottom view, the first elastic member 60 and the second elastic member 70 are not exposed to the storage box 21 in a bottom view (see FIG. 5).
[0045] As described above, the control panel 20 includes the storage box 21, the insertion hole 25, the first clamping portion 40, the second clamping portion 50, the cover 30, and the sealing member 26. The storage box 21 stores the electrical component 90. The insertion hole 25 is provided in the bottom wall 212 of the storage box 21, and allows the insertion of an electric wire W electrically connected to the electrical component 90. The first clamping portion 40 is fixed to the upper surface of the bottom wall 212. The second clamping portion 50 is provided on the upper surface of the bottom wall 212 and clamps the electric wire W between itself and the first clamping portion 40. The cover 30 is provided on the lower surface of the bottom wall 212 and has a joint wall 32. The joint wall 32 includes a closing portion 33 that closes a portion of the insertion hole 25 from below. The sealing member 26 is provided in the closing portion 33 of the cover 30 and is sandwiched between the bottom wall 512 of the second clamping portion 50 and the closing portion 33. According to this, sealing member 26 is provided on joint wall 32 of cover 30. Therefore, when second clamping part 50 is fixed to bottom wall 212, sealing member 26 does not slide relative to bottom wall 212. Therefore, sealing member 26 does not deform to create a gap between bottom wall 512 and bottom wall 212, and seals the gap between bottom wall 512 and bottom wall 212. Therefore, control panel 20 can prevent dust generated during machining by machine tool 1 from entering inside storage box 21.
[0046] In the control panel 20, the cover 30 has a rear wall 311 and a lower wall 312. The rear wall 311 extends downward from the rear extension portion 323 of the joint wall 32. The lower wall 312 extends forward from the lower end of the rear wall 311. The lower wall 312 blocks a portion of the insertion hole 25 in a bottom view. This allows the control panel 20 to prevent dust outside the storage box 21 from reaching the insertion hole 25 while ensuring a path for the electric wire W to the insertion hole 25.
[0047] In the control panel 20, the front wall 211 of the storage box 21 is fixed to the mechanical unit 5. The insertion hole 25 is provided near the connection end 219 in the bottom wall 212. The cover 30 has a box body 31 including a rear wall 311 and a bottom wall 312, and a guide hole 38 that opens the box body 31 forward toward the mechanical unit 5. As a result, the cover 30 is box-shaped, and the guide hole 38 opens toward the mechanical unit 5. Due to the positional relationship of the insertion hole 25 in the bottom wall 212, the front end of the box body 31 is close to the rear end of the mechanical unit 5. Therefore, dust outside the storage box 21 cannot reach the insertion hole 25 unless it passes through the gap between the cover 30 and the mechanical unit 5. Therefore, the control panel 20 can prevent dust outside the storage box 21 from reaching the insertion hole 25 while ensuring a path to the insertion hole 25 for the electric wire W.
[0048] In the control panel 20, the first clamping portion 40 has a first extending wall 411, a first side wall 412, and a second side wall 413. The first extending wall 411 is rectangular and extends more left-right than up-down. The first side wall 412 extends rearward from the right end of the first extending wall 411. A first fitting portion 422 is provided on the first side wall 412. The second side wall 413 extends rearward from the left end of the first extending wall 411. A second fitting portion 423 is provided on the second side wall 413. The first side wall 412 and the second side wall 413 are spaced apart from each other in the left-right direction. The second clamping portion 50 has a second extending wall 511, a first protruding portion 522, and a second protruding portion 523. The second extending wall 511 is rectangular and extends more left-right than up-down. The first protruding portion 522 protrudes rightward from the upper right end of the second extending wall 511. The second protrusion 523 protrudes leftward from the upper left end of the second extending wall 511. The first protrusion 522 fits into the first fitting portion 422, and the second protrusion 523 fits into the second fitting portion 423. Accordingly, when the first clamping portion 40 and the second clamping portion 50 clamp the electric wire W, a reaction force from the electric wire W may cause the second clamping portion 50 to move away from the first clamping portion 40, which may result in the clamping of the electric wire W being released. In the control panel 20, the first protrusion 522 fits into the first fitting portion 422, and the second protrusion 523 fits into the second fitting portion 423. This determines the position of the second clamping portion 50 relative to the first clamping portion 40, and restricts the second clamping portion 50 from moving away from the first clamping portion 40. Therefore, the control panel 20 can stably clamp the electric wire W between the first clamping portion 40 and the second clamping portion 50 without the second clamping portion 50 separating from the first clamping portion 40. Furthermore, the first fitting portion 422 is recessed downward from the center in the front-to-rear direction of the upper edge of the first side wall 412, and the second fitting portion 423 is recessed downward from the center in the front-to-rear direction of the upper edge of the second side wall 413. Therefore, when the user moves the second clamping portion 50 forward toward the first clamping portion 40 to clamp the electric wire W, the first protruding portion 522 rides up on the rear upper edge 4122, and the second protruding portion 523 rides up on the rear upper edge 4132. Because the front end of the lower wall 512 is located above the seal member 26, the second clamping portion 50 is less likely to slide against the seal member 26. Therefore, sealing member 26 does not deform to create a gap between bottom wall 512 and bottom wall 212, and closes the gap between bottom wall 512 and bottom wall 212. Therefore, control panel 20 can prevent dust generated during processing by machine tool 1 from entering inside storage box 21.
[0049] The present invention can be modified in various ways from the above-described embodiment. The various modifications described below can be combined with each other as long as no contradiction occurs.
[0050] In the above embodiment, the insertion hole 25 is provided in the bottom wall 212, but it may be provided in any wall of the storage box 21, not limited to the bottom wall 212. In the modified example shown in Fig. 13, an insertion hole 250 through which the electric wire W can be inserted is provided in the right wall 214. In this case, the first clamping part 40, the second clamping part 50, and the cover 30 are rotated from the positions shown in Fig. 2.
[0051] The configuration of the cover 30 may be changed as appropriate. For example, the cover 30 may have only the joint wall 32 and may not have the box body 31. The joint wall 32 may block part of the insertion hole 25 from below the lower wall 212, and the configuration may be changed as appropriate. The joint wall 32 may not include the right extension portion 321. The joint wall 32 may not include the left extension portion 322. The joint wall 32 may not include the rear extension portion 323.
[0052] The configuration of the blocking portion 33 may be changed as appropriate. The blocking portion 33 may not include the right extending portion 321. In this case, the right wall 314 may be disposed to the right of the insertion hole 25, and the right extending portion 321 may extend rightward from the upper end of the right wall 314. The blocking portion 33 may not include the left extending portion 322. In this case, the left wall 315 may be disposed to the left of the insertion hole 25, and the left extending portion 322 may extend leftward from the upper end of the left wall 315. The blocking portion 33 may not include the rear extending portion 323. In this case, the rear wall 311 may be disposed to the right of the insertion hole 25, and the rear extending portion 323 may extend rearward from the upper end of the rear wall 311.
[0053] In the above embodiment, the sealing member 26 was provided over the entire upper surface of the blocking portion 33. However, the sealing member 26 may be provided only on a portion of the upper surface of the blocking portion 33, and the structure of the sealing member 26 may be modified as appropriate. In the above embodiment, the sealing member 26 protruded above the lower wall 212. However, as long as the sealing member 26 is sandwiched between the second clamping portion 50 and the joint wall 32, it does not have to protrude above the lower wall 212, and the structure of the sealing member 26 may be modified as appropriate.
[0054] The configuration of the box body 31 may be changed as appropriate. The box body 31 may not include the right wall 314. The box body 31 may not include the left wall 315. The box body 31 may not include the rear wall 311. The box body 31 may not include the bottom wall 312. In the above embodiment, the bottom wall 312 blocks a portion of the insertion hole 25 in bottom view, and together with the joint wall 32 blocks the insertion hole 25 in bottom view. In contrast, the bottom wall 312 may not block the insertion hole 25 in bottom view. The bottom wall 312 may not block the insertion hole 25 in bottom view together with the joint wall 32. The bottom wall 312 is not limited to extending perpendicular to the vertical direction, and may extend intersecting the vertical direction.
[0055] In the box 31, the guide hole 38 does not have to open toward the machine unit 5. In a modified example shown in FIG. 13, the guide hole 38 opens downward rather than toward the machine unit 5. Note that the guide hole 38 is not only used to pass the electric wire W through, but also allows dust to enter. Therefore, it is preferable that the guide hole 38 opens in the box 31 in a direction that makes it difficult for dust to enter. For example, when it is considered that dust will move downward due to gravity, it is preferable that the guide hole 38 opens in the box 31 in a direction other than upward.
[0056] The front wall 211 of the storage box 21 does not have to be fixed to the machine unit 5. In this case, the storage box 21 may be supported, for example, by a support arm extending rearward from the base 2. In the storage box 21, the bottom wall 212 may be fixed to the machine unit 5. The top wall 213 may be fixed to the machine unit 5. The right wall 214 may be fixed to the machine unit 5. The left wall 215 may be fixed to the machine unit 5. In other words, the positional relationship between the storage box 21 and the machine unit 5 may be changed as appropriate depending on the configuration of the machine tool 1.
[0057] In the above embodiment, the insertion hole 25 is provided near the connection end 219, but the position of the insertion hole 25 in the lower wall 212 may be changed as appropriate. For example, the insertion hole 25 may be located between the center of the lower wall 212 in the front-to-rear direction and the rear end of the lower wall 212.
[0058] The configuration of the first clamping portion 40 may be changed as appropriate. The first clamping portion 40 may not include the first side wall 412. The first clamping portion 40 may not include the second side wall 413. The first side wall 412 and the second side wall 413 may be arranged at a distance in the left-right direction, and their positions relative to the first extending wall 411 may be changed as appropriate. The first side wall 412 may not be provided at the right end of the first extending wall 411. The second side wall 413 may not be provided at the left end of the first extending wall 411. The first side wall 412 may not be provided with the first fitting portion 422. The second side wall 413 may not be provided with the second fitting portion 423.
[0059] The configuration of the second clamping portion 50 may be changed as appropriate. The second clamping portion 50 may not include the first protruding portion 522. The second clamping portion 50 may not include the second protruding portion 523. The first protruding portion 522 may not be fitted with the first fitting portion 422. The second protruding portion 523 may not be fitted with the second fitting portion 423.
[0060] Other modifications will now be described. The configuration of the machine tool 1 may be modified as appropriate. In the above embodiment, the machine tool 1 is a vertical machine tool in which the spindle 9 extends in the Z-axis direction, but the machine tool 1 may also be a horizontal machine tool in which the spindle 9 extends in the X-axis or Y-axis direction.
[0061] The first clamping portion 40 does not need to have the first elastic member 60, and for example, the first extending wall 411 may clamp the electric wire W between itself and the second clamping portion 50. The configuration of the first elastic member 60 may be changed as appropriate. For example, the first elastic member 60 may be a rectangular parallelepiped that extends in the vertical direction from the lower end of the first extending wall 411 to the lower end of the high nut 44 and extends in the horizontal direction from the right end of the first extending wall 411 to the right end of the first extending wall 411.
[0062] The second clamping portion 50 does not need to have the second elastic member 70, and for example, the second extending wall 511 may clamp the electric wire W between itself and the first clamping portion 40. The configuration of the second elastic member 70 may be changed as appropriate. For example, the second elastic member 70 may be a rectangular parallelepiped extending in the left-right and up-down directions across the entire area of the second extending wall 511.
[0063] The first clamping unit 40 does not have to include a lower wall 414 as long as it can be fixed to the upper surface of the lower wall 212. The structure of the lower wall 414 may be modified as appropriate. The second clamping unit 50 does not have to include a lower wall 512 as long as it can be fixed to the upper surface of the lower wall 212. The structure of the lower wall 512 may be modified as appropriate.
[0064] The first clamping unit 40 may not have the high nut 44. The second clamping unit 50 may have a high nut that extends forward toward the first clamping unit 40 at a position corresponding to the groove 54 in the second extending wall 511. In this case, the first extending wall 411 may have a hole that penetrates the first extending wall 411 in the front-rear direction at a position corresponding to the high nut of the second clamping unit 50, and a bolt (not shown) may be inserted through the hole and fastened to the high nut of the second clamping unit 50.
[0065] The first clamping unit 40 does not necessarily have to have the fixing plate 433. The second clamping unit 50 may have a fixing plate for fixing the electric wire W.
[0066] In the above embodiment, the rear upper edge 4122 is located above the first protruding portion 522. In contrast, the rear upper edge 4122 may be located below the first protruding portion 522, or may be located at approximately the same position as the first protruding portion 522 in the up-down direction. The front upper edge 4121 may be located below the rear upper edge 4122, or may be located at approximately the same position as the rear upper edge 4122 in the up-down direction.
[0067] The rear upper edge 4132 is located above the second protruding portion 523. In contrast, the rear upper edge 4132 may be located below the second protruding portion 523, or may be located at approximately the same position as the second protruding portion 523 in the up-down direction. The front upper edge 4131 may be located below the rear upper edge 4132, or may be located at approximately the same position as the rear upper edge 4132 in the up-down direction.
[0068] The rear wall 311 may extend in a direction intersecting the lower wall 212, and is not limited to extending in the vertical direction. The first extending wall 411 may extend in a direction intersecting the lower wall 212, and is not limited to extending in the vertical direction. The first side wall 412 may extend in a direction intersecting the left-right direction, and is not limited to extending in the front-rear direction. The second side wall 413 may extend in a direction intersecting the left-right direction, and is not limited to extending in the front-rear direction. The first side wall 412 and the second side wall 413 do not have to be parallel. For example, the first side wall 412 may extend from the right end of the first extending wall 411 to the rear right, and the second side wall 413 may extend from the left end of the first extending wall 411 to the rear left. The second extending wall 511 may extend in a direction intersecting the lower wall 212, and is not limited to extending in the vertical direction. The first extending wall 411 and the second extending wall 511 do not have to be parallel. For example, the first extending wall 411 may extend rearward and upward from the rear end of the lower wall 414, and the second extending wall 511 may extend frontward and upward from the front end of the lower wall 512.
