Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a pump-type discharge tool and a pump-type discharge container. [Background technology]
[0002] As a pump-type dispensing device or pump-type dispensing container that is configured so that the pump can be operated by pressing down the press-down head to dispense the contents to the outside in predetermined amounts, there is known one in which the elastic body that urges the press-down head upward is made of synthetic rubber or synthetic resin instead of a metal spring. With such a pump-type dispensing device or pump-type dispensing container, all of the components that make up the pump-type dispensing device can be made of synthetic resin, which increases the recyclability of the pump-type dispensing device or pump-type dispensing container and reduces the environmental impact.
[0003] However, pump-type discharge devices are often distributed with the push-down head held at the bottom end position, and if the elastic body is made of synthetic rubber or synthetic resin, being held in a contracted state for a long period of time can cause a decrease in elastic restoring force, which can lead to the problem that the desired discharge volume cannot be obtained when in use.
[0004] In order to solve these problems, conventionally, a pump-type discharge device or pump-type discharge container has been developed in which a piston member that receives a synthetic resin spring is screwed together with the pump stem, and during distribution, the stem is rotated in the tightening direction relative to the piston member to keep the push-down head in the lower end position with the spring in an extended state, and when in use, the stem is rotated in the loosening direction relative to the piston member to keep the push-down head in the upper end position with the spring in an extended state (see, for example, Patent Document 1). [0005] [Patent Document 1] Patent No. 3616456 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0006] However, the above-mentioned conventional pump-type discharge devices or pump-type discharge containers have a structure in which the piston member and the stem are screwed together, which causes a problem in that the structure is complicated.
[0007] The present invention has been made in consideration of such problems, and its object is to provide a pump-type discharge device and a pump-type discharge container that have a simpler configuration and are capable of suppressing a decrease in the elastic restoring force of an elastic body made of synthetic rubber or synthetic resin. [Means for solving the problem]
[0008] The pump-type dispensing device of the present invention is a pump-type dispensing device that is used by being attached to the opening of a container body, and includes an attachment cap that is attached to the opening, a pump that is supported by the attachment cap and is actuated by pressing down a stem, a push-down head that is attached to the upper end of the stem and has a head portion and a nozzle portion with a head-side screw, and is movable up and down together with the stem between an upper end position and a lower end position, a holder that is arranged on the upper part of the attachment cap and holds the push-down head at the lower end position by threading the head-side screw into a holder-side screw provided on the outer peripheral surface, and a nozzle that is attached to the holder. and a ring-shaped elastic body made of synthetic rubber or synthetic resin that is stretched across an upper locking portion attached to the stem and a pair of temporary locking portions that are spaced apart circumferentially on the retaining body below the upper locking portion; and a hook portion that is attached to the stem and is positioned below the pair of temporary locking portions when the hold-down head is held by the retaining body, and that moves above the pair of temporary locking portions and becomes engageable with the elastic body when the threaded connection between the head-side screw and the retaining body-side screw is released and the hold-down head moves from the lower end position to the upper end position.
[0009] In the pump-type discharge device of the present invention, in the above configuration, it is preferable that the upper locking portion, the pair of temporary locking portions, the elastic body and the hook portion are each provided in two sets symmetrically on either side of the axis of the stem.
[0010] The pump-type discharge container of the present invention is characterized by comprising a container body and the pump-type discharge tool attached to the opening of the container body. [Effects of the Invention]
[0011] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a pump type discharge tool and a pump type discharge container that can suppress a decrease in the elastic restoring force of an elastic body made of synthetic rubber or synthetic resin with a simpler configuration. FIG. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0013] A pump type discharge device 1 and a pump type discharge container 2 according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings.
[0014] In this specification and claims, the up-down direction refers to the up-down direction when the pump-type discharge device 1 or the pump-type discharge container 2 is in the upright position shown in FIG.
[0015] As shown in Fig. 1, a pump type dispensing device 1 according to this embodiment is a so-called pump type dispenser that is used by being attached to a mouth portion 3a of a container body 3. The pump type dispensing device 1 and the container body 3 constitute a pump type dispensing container 2.
[0016] The container body 3 is, for example, a bottle container made of synthetic resin with a cylindrical mouth portion 3a centered on an axis O. The container body 3 can store therein a liquid or fluid substance such as rubbing alcohol or hand soap as the content 4. The pump-type dispensing device 1 can dispense the content 4 stored in the container body 3 in predetermined amounts and discharge it to the outside.
[0017] The pump-type discharge device 1 has an attachment cap 10, a pump 20, a press-down head 30, a holder 40, an elastic body 50, and a hook portion 60.
[0018] In this embodiment, the attachment cap 10, pump 20, press-down head 30, holder 40, elastic body 50, and hook portion 60 are each made of synthetic resin, so that the pump-type dispenser 1 is made entirely of synthetic resin material, which increases recyclability.
[0019] The attachment cap 10 has a cylindrical shape with a top and is centered on the axis O, and is attached to the opening 3a by screwing in a freely detachable manner. Note that the attachment cap 10 is not limited to being attached by screwing, and may be attached to the opening 3a by, for example, tapping.
[0020] The pump 20 includes a stem 21, a cylinder body 22, a check valve 25, and a piston body 26. The pump 20 is supported by the attachment cap 10 and is configured to operate when the stem 21 is pressed down to discharge the contents 4. More specifically, the pump 20 includes a cylinder body 22 extending vertically about an axis O, and is supported by the attachment cap 10 at a flange portion 23 integrally formed on the upper end side of the cylinder body 22. The cylinder body 22 is disposed inside the container body 3, and a suction port 24 is provided at its lower end. A three-point check valve 25 is provided in the suction port 24, and a suction tube 27 is connected to its lower end. Although not shown in detail, the suction tube 27 extends to the bottom of the container body 3. A piston body 26 is attached to the lower end of the stem 21 via a cylindrical body 28, and the piston body 26 contacts the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder body 22.
[0021] The push-down head 30 comprises a head portion 31 and a nozzle portion 32. The head portion 31 is cylindrical with a top, and a peripheral wall 31a integrally formed at the bottom thereof has a head-side thread 31b formed integrally therewith. In this embodiment, the head-side thread 31b is a female thread formed on the inner peripheral surface of the peripheral wall 31a. The head portion 31 also comprises a cylindrical fixed tube portion 31c centered on the axis O, and the fixed tube portion 31c is fitted and fixed to the upper end of the stem 21, and is attached to the upper end of the stem 21. The nozzle portion 32 protrudes laterally from the head portion 31, its interior communicates with the stem 21, and its tip forms a discharge port 32a for the contents 4.
[0022] The push-down head 30 is attached to the upper end of the stem 21, and is thus movable vertically along the axis O relative to the cylinder body 22 between an upper end position (the position shown in FIG. 6) and a lower end position (the position shown in FIG. 1) together with the stem 21. In use, the push-down head 30 is movable vertically along the axis O relative to the cylinder body 22 between the upper end position (the position shown in FIG. 6) and a lower end position (the position shown in FIG. 8) that is higher than the lower end position. In use, when the push-down head 30 is pressed down from the upper end position to the lower end position, the pump 20 is actuated, and the contents 4 inside the cylinder body 22 are discharged through the stem 21 and the nozzle portion 32 to the outside through the discharge port 32a. When the push-down head 30 returns from the lower end position to the upper end position, the pump 20 performs a suction operation, and the check valve 25 opens, and the contents 4 inside the container body 3 are filled into the cylinder body 22 through the suction tube 27 and the suction port 24.
[0023] The holder 40 is disposed on top of the attachment cap 10. In this embodiment, a support tube 29 protruding upward from the attachment cap 10 is integrally provided above the flange portion 23 of the cylinder body 22, and the holder 40 is fitted and fixed to the support tube 29 in a rotation-preventing state and disposed on top of the attachment cap 10. A holder-side thread 41 is integrally provided on the holder 40. In this embodiment, the holder-side thread 41 is a male thread provided on the outer peripheral surface of the holder 40. When the pump-type dispensing device 1 or the pump-type dispensing container 2 is in a circumferential state, the holder 40 holds the hold-down head 30 at the lower end position shown in FIG. 1 by threading the holder-side thread 41 into the head-side thread 31b of the hold-down head 30.
[0024] The elastic body 50 is an annular or ring-shaped member made of synthetic rubber or synthetic resin. In this embodiment, the elastic body 50 is made of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) and is formed into a ring shape with a circular cross section, but is not limited to this. The elastic body 50 is elastically deformable in a direction increasing its circumferential length. As will be described later, when the pump-type dispensing device 1 or the pump-type dispensing container 2 is in use, the elastic force of the elastic body 50 urges the press-down head 30 from the lowermost position toward the uppermost position.
[0025] As shown in FIGS. 1, 2, and 3, the holder 40 is provided with an upper locking portion 42. In this embodiment, the upper locking portion 42 is integrally connected to the inner circumferential surface of the holder 40 and has an upward hook-like shape that protrudes radially inward from the inner circumferential surface. The holder 40 also has a pair of temporary locking portions 43 that are spaced apart in the circumferential direction below the upper locking portion 42. In this embodiment, the pair of temporary locking portions 43 are each integrally connected to the inner circumferential surface of the holder 40 and have a rod-like shape that protrudes radially inward from the inner circumferential surface, and are arranged symmetrically in the circumferential direction about the axis O with the upper locking portion 42 in between. As shown in FIG. 4, when the pump-type dispenser 1 or the pump-type dispenser container 2 is in circulation, the elastic body 50 spans between the upper locking portion 42 and the pair of temporary locking portions 43. That is, the elastic body 50 is hooked from above onto the upper locking portion 42 and thereby locked to the upper locking portion 42, and is also hooked from below onto the pair of temporary locking portions 43 and locked to the pair of temporary locking portions 43, so that the elastic body 50 is held by the holder 40. Note that the elastic body 50 in the state spanning the upper locking portion 42 and the pair of temporary locking portions 43 is not elastically deformed much from its original shape, and can be elastically deformed further in the extension direction from this state.
[0026] The mounting head 30 may also be configured to be provided with a retainer 33 for preventing the elastic body 50 from coming off the upper locking portion 42. More specifically, the retainer 33 is fitted and fixed to the outside of the fixed tubular portion 31c of the mounting head 30, and when the press-down head 30 is held by the holder 40, the tubular portion on the lower end side of the retainer 40 is inserted into the holder 40 to close the hook-shaped opening of the upper locking portion 42 from above. The retainer 33 also functions as a seal to prevent the contents 4 from leaking out from between the holder 40 by abutting against the inner surface of the holder 40 over the entire circumference.
[0027] 1, 3, and 4, the hook portion 60 is provided on the stem 21. The hook portion 60 is integrally connected to the outer peripheral surface of the lower end portion of the stem 21 and has a downward hook shape that protrudes diagonally radially outward and downward from the outer peripheral surface. When the pump-type dispensing device 1 or the pump-type dispensing container 2 is in circulation, that is, when the push-down head 30 is held by the holder 40, the hook portion 60 is located below the pair of temporary locking portions 43 and does not engage with the elastic body 50 in this state.
[0028] On the other hand, when the screw connection between the head-side screw 31b and the holder-side screw 41 is released and the press-down head 30 moves from the lower end position to the upper end position, the hook portion 60 moves above the pair of temporary locking portions 43, i.e., above the lower end portion of the elastic body 50 locked by the pair of temporary locking portions 43, as shown in Figures 6 and 7, and becomes able to engage with the elastic body 50. In other words, the downward-facing hook-shaped hook portion 60 can engage with the elastic body 50 from above by moving from above to below the lower end portion of the elastic body 50 locked by the pair of temporary locking portions 43.
[0029] The upper locking portion 42, the pair of temporary locking portions 43, the elastic body 50, and the hook portion 60 are positioned in a radial direction around the axis O corresponding to each other. In this embodiment, the upper locking portion 42, the pair of temporary locking portions 43, the elastic body 50, and the hook portion 60 are each provided in two sets symmetrically on either side of the axis O of the stem 21. It is sufficient that at least one set of the upper locking portion 42, the pair of temporary locking portions 43, the elastic body 50, and the hook portion 60 is provided, and three or more sets may be provided.
[0030] Next, a method of using the pump type discharge device 1 or the pump type discharge container 2 having the above-described configuration will be described.
[0031] As shown in FIG. 1, during distribution of the pump-type dispensing device 1 or the pump-type dispensing container 2, i.e., after manufacture and until use begins, the head-side screw 31b is threadedly engaged with the holder-side screw 41, and the push-down head 30 is held at its lower end position by the holder 40. This allows the height (bulk) of the pump-type dispensing device 1 or the pump-type dispensing container 2 to be low during distribution, thereby reducing transportation and storage costs during distribution. At this time, the hook portion 60 is not engaged with the elastic body 50, and the elastic body 50 is held by the holder 40 in a state where it is not significantly elastically deformed, spanning the upper locking portion 42 and the pair of temporary locking portions 43. Therefore, a decrease in the elastic restoring force of the elastic body 50 during distribution is suppressed.
[0032] As shown in Figure 5, when starting to use the pump-type discharge device 1 or pump-type discharge container 2 to discharge the contents 4 contained in the container body 3, the push-down head 30 is rotated relative to the holder 40 around the axis O to release the screw connection between the head-side screw 31b and the holder-side screw 41, and the hold of the push-down head 30 by the holder 40 is released.
[0033] Next, as shown in Fig. 6, the press-down head 30, which has been released from the holding body 40, is lifted up and moved from the lower end position to the upper end position. At this time, the press-down head 30 is lifted up from the lower end position to the upper end position with the hook portion 60 positioned in the circumferential center of the pair of temporary-locking portions 43. When the press-down head 30 moves from the lower end position to the upper end position, as shown in Fig. 7, the hook portion 60 provided on the stem 21, which moves upward together with the press-down head 30, moves above the pair of temporary-locking portions 43, i.e., above the lower end portion of the elastic body 50 locked by the pair of temporary-locking portions 43.
[0034] Next, as shown in FIG. 8 , the push-down head 30 is pushed down from the upper end position to the lower end position to perform the pumping operation of the pump 20 and take in the contents 4 into the pump 20. At this time, when the push-down head 30 is pushed down from the upper end position to the lower end position, the hook portion 60 provided on the stem 21, which moves downward together with the push-down head 30, moves from above the lower end of the elastic body 50 to below the pair of temporary locking portions 43. As a result, as shown in FIG. 9 , the hook portion 60 engages from above with the lower end portion of the elastic body 50 locked by the pair of temporary locking portions 43. Then, when the push-down head 30 moves downward to the lower end position, the elastic body 50 is elastically deformed so as to be stretched between the upper locking portion 42 and the hook portion 60, and this elastic deformation releases the engagement of the elastic body 50 with the pair of temporary locking portions 43.
[0035] 10 and 11, the pump-type dispenser 1 or pump-type dispenser container 2 is set in a state in which the elastic body 50 is bridged between the upper locking portion 42 and the hook portion 60, i.e., is ready for use. Thereafter, by pressing down the push-down head 30 from the upper end position to the lower end position, the pump 20 is operated to dispense the contents 4 from the discharge port 32a of the nozzle portion 32. Furthermore, the push-down head 30 pressed down from the upper end position to the lower end position is urged by the elastic restoring force of the elastic body 50, which elastically deforms between the upper locking portion 42 and the hook portion 60, and automatically moves from the lower end position to the upper end position.
[0036] Thus, according to the pump-type discharge device 1 and pump-type discharge container 2 of this embodiment, the push-down head 30 can be held at the lower end position by the holder 40 during distribution, and the elastic body 50 can be held by the holder 40 in a state where it is not elastically deformed much, so that the synthetic rubber or synthetic resin elastic body 50 can be prevented from becoming worn and its elastic restoring force from decreasing during distribution.
[0037] Furthermore, with the pump-type dispenser 1 and pump-type dispenser container 2 according to this embodiment, when in use, the push-down head 30 can be easily rotated about the axis O to release the head-side threads 31b from the holder-side threads 41, then raised from the lower end position to the upper end position, and then pushed down from the upper end position to the lower end position, thereby urging the push-down head 30 toward the upper end position by the elastic body 50 and placing it in a usable state. Furthermore, with the pump-type dispenser 1 and pump-type dispenser container 2 according to this embodiment, the above-mentioned effects can be achieved with a simple configuration in which the annular elastic body 50 is hung between the upper locking portion 42 and a pair of temporary locking portions 43 on the holder 40, and the hook portion 60 is provided on the stem 21. Therefore, with the pump-type dispenser 1 and pump-type dispenser container 2 according to this embodiment, a decrease in the elastic restoring force of the synthetic rubber or synthetic resin elastic body 50 can be suppressed with a configuration simpler than conventional configurations.
[0038] Furthermore, in the pump-type discharge device 1 and pump-type discharge container 2 according to this embodiment, the upper locking portion 42, the pair of temporary locking portions 43, the elastic body 50 and the hook portion 60 are each provided in two sets symmetrically on either side of the axis O, so that the elastic restoring force of the elastic body 50 is applied more evenly to the push-down head 30, thereby improving the operability or operability of the push-down head 30.
[0039] Furthermore, in the pump-type dispenser 1 and pump-type dispenser container 2 according to this embodiment, the attachment cap 10, pump 20, push-down head 30, holder 40, elastic body 50 and hook portion 60 are each made of synthetic resin, thereby increasing the recyclability of the pump-type dispenser 1 and pump-type dispenser container 2 and reducing the environmental burden.
[0040] The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and various modifications can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention.
[0041] For example, in the above embodiment, the attachment cap 10, pump 20, push-down head 30, holder 40, elastic body 50 and hook portion 60 are each made of synthetic resin, but this is not limited thereto, and as long as the elastic body 50 is made of synthetic rubber or synthetic resin, the other components may be made of other materials.
[0042] Furthermore, in the above embodiment, the head side thread 31b is a female thread provided on the inner surface of the peripheral wall 31a, and the holder side thread 41 is a male thread provided on the outer surface of the holder 40, but this is not limited to this. For example, the head side thread 31b may be a male thread provided on the outer surface of the peripheral wall 31a, and the holder side thread 41 may be a female thread provided on the inner surface of the holder 40, as long as they can be threadedly coupled to each other.
