Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a tree felling tool for indirect live-line work. [Background technology]
[0002] For example, in the case of power distribution lines installed in mountainous areas, it is necessary to cut down the branches of trees growing around the power distribution lines. This is because the branches may come into contact with the power distribution lines and damage the insulation of the lines, which may result in power outages. For example, Patent Document 1 proposes a tree cutting tool for use in this cutting work.
[0003] The tree felling tool in Patent Document 1 has a saw blade and a clamping rod at the tip of a long handle, and an operating part at the base of the handle for reciprocating the saw blade. When felling branches, the operating part is manually operated to reciprocate, causing the saw blade to reciprocate and cut the branches.
[0004] However, such tree-cutting tools not only fail to cut thick branches, but also require a great deal of effort from the operator, which is inconvenient. Furthermore, the tree-cutting tool in Patent Document 1 can only be used to cut branches, which requires the operator to use different tools for cutting branches and for other work on power lines, which is cumbersome. Furthermore, when using the tree-cutting tool to cut branches near power lines, insulation measures must also be taken, which is inconvenient. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0005] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 62-83441 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0006] In view of the above problems, the present invention aims to provide a tree cutting tool for indirect live-line work that does not require labor, can reliably cut down trees after taking insulation measures, and can also perform other work on distribution lines. [Means for solving the problem]
[0007] The tree felling tool for indirect live-line work of the present invention comprises an insulated operating rod used for indirect live-line work, and a felling tool section that is removably attached to the tip of the insulated operating rod and can be driven by driving force from a drive source.
[0008] When felling trees near power lines, the felling tool attached to the tip of the insulated operating rod is driven by the driving force from the drive source, allowing for reliable felling without requiring any labor and while taking insulation measures. After the tree has been felled and other work on the power lines is desired, the felling tool can be removed and another tool can be attached to the tip of the insulated operating rod, allowing for safe work on the power lines.
[0009] In addition, the tree felling tool for indirect live-line work of the present invention may be configured so that the drive source outputs a rotational drive as a drive force, and the insulated operating rod is arranged at the base end and includes a connecting portion to which the drive source is connected so that the rotational drive of the drive source is input, and a transmission shaft connected to the connecting portion and the felling tool portion and transmitting the rotational drive input to the connecting portion to the felling tool portion.
[0010] As described above, the rotational drive of the drive source is input via the connecting portion, and the input rotational drive is transmitted to the felling tool portion via the transmission shaft, thereby driving the felling tool portion. Furthermore, by connecting the drive source to the connecting portion provided at the base end of the insulated operating rod, the increase in weight of the felling tool portion can be suppressed compared to when a power source portion (drive source) such as a battery is provided on the felling tool portion side, and this improves the operability of the tree felling tool for indirect live-line work.
[0011] In addition, the tree felling tool for indirect live-line work of the present invention may be provided with a speed increaser between the tip of the insulated operating rod and the felling tool part, which increases the rotational speed of the rotational drive transmitted via the transmission shaft.
[0012] As described above, by increasing the rotational speed of the rotational drive transmitted via the transmission shaft with the speed increaser to rotate the felling tool unit, even thick branches can be reliably cut.
[0013] The tree felling tool for indirect live-line work of the present invention may be configured so that the speed increaser and the transmission shaft, which are connected to the felling tool portion, can be released and separated from each other.
[0014] As described above, by disconnecting and separating the speed-up gear connected to the felling tool unit from the transmission shaft, the disconnection work can be performed more quickly than when the connection between the felling tool unit and the speed-up gear and the connection between the speed-up gear and the transmission shaft are both disconnected and separated. This allows the felling tool unit to be removed and another tool to be attached more quickly. [Effects of the Invention]
[0015] As described above, according to the present invention, by driving the felling tool part removably attached to the tip of the insulating operating rod with the driving force from the drive source, it is possible to provide a tree felling tool for indirect live-line work that requires no labor, can reliably fell trees after taking insulation measures, and can also perform other work on power distribution lines. [Brief explanation of the drawings]
[0016] [Figure 1] FIG. 1 is a side view of a tree felling tool for indirect live-line work. [Figure 2] FIG. 2 is a side view showing the connection portion between the insulating operating rod and the chainsaw. [Figure 3] FIG. [Figure 4] FIG. 2 is an enlarged view of the attachment portion of the power tool to the insulating operating rod. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0017] A tree felling tool for indirect live-line work according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0018] As shown in Fig. 1, the tree felling tool 1 for indirect live-line work includes an insulated operating rod 2 used for indirect live-line work, a chainsaw 3 as a felling tool part that is removably attached to the tip of the insulated operating rod 2, a speed increaser 4 for increasing the rotation speed of the insulated operating rod 2, and an electric tool 5 as a drive source for driving the chainsaw 3. In Fig. 1, the upper side will be described as the front side, the lower side as the rear side, the left side as the left side, and the right side as the right side.
[0019] The insulated operating rod 2 is made of insulating synthetic resin and, as shown in FIG. 1 , includes a fixed shaft 21, a rotating shaft 22 that is rotatable parallel to the fixed shaft 21, a pair of front and rear support members 23, 24 that support both front and rear ends of the fixed shaft 21 and the rotating shaft 22, and a grip member 25 that rotatably supports the rotating shaft 22 and forms a handle. This insulated operating rod 2 is a so-called two-shaft rotating operating rod, and by attaching a chainsaw 3 to this operating rod to form a tree felling tool 1 for indirect live-line work, it can be made into a work tool with highly reliable insulation performance. The upper end of the rotating shaft 22 is fitted onto an input shaft 41 (see FIG. 2), which will be described later. A metal driven bevel gear 26 (see FIG. 4), which is provided at the lower end of the rotating shaft 22, meshes with a drive bevel gear 61, which will be described later. The rotating shaft 22 constitutes a transmission shaft that transmits the rotational drive of the power tool 5 to the chainsaw 3. The base end (lower end in FIG. 1) of the insulating operating rod 2 is provided with a connecting portion 6 (see FIG. 1) to which the power tool 5 is connected so that the rotational drive (driving force) of the power tool 5 is input.
[0020] As shown in Figure 1, the chainsaw 3 includes a housing 31, a guide bar 32 that protrudes forward from the tip (front end) of the housing 31, and a saw chain 33 that is wound around the guide bar 32. The chainsaw 3 does not include a drive source, but includes a rotation mechanism (not shown) that rotates the saw chain 33. The rear end of the housing 31 is provided with a hollow connecting portion 34 into which the tip of the speed increaser 4 is inserted for connection. The connecting portion 34 of the chainsaw 3 and the speed increaser 4 are configured to be connectable and disconnectable with a plurality of screws N1, N2 (see Figure 2).
[0021] 2, the speed increaser 4 is provided between the tip (front end) of the insulated operating rod 2 and the chainsaw 3, and increases the rotation speed (rotational speed) of the rotating shaft (transmission shaft) 22 of the insulated operating rod 2. In this embodiment, the rotation speed of the insulated operating rod 2 can be increased by approximately three times, but any multiplier may be used.
[0022] 2 and 3, the speed increaser 4 specifically includes an input gear 42 fitted onto an input shaft 41 connected to the insulated operating rod 2, an intermediate gear 43 that meshes with the input gear 42 and has an outer diameter smaller than that of the input gear 42, and a ring gear 44 that rotates coaxially with the intermediate gear 43 and meshes with a pinion gear 45 that transmits power to the chainsaw 3 and has an outer diameter approximately equal to that of the input gear 42. In the speed increaser 4, the numbers of teeth of the input gear 42, intermediate gear 43, ring gear 44, and pinion gear 45 are set so that the rotation speed of the input shaft 41 on the input side is approximately three times that of the pinion gear 45 on the output side, but the specific configuration of the speed increaser 4 can be freely changed. The input shaft 41 of the speed increaser 4 is fitted onto the rotating shaft 22 of the insulated operating rod 2, thereby connecting the two. In addition, by releasing the external fit between the input shaft 41 of the speed increaser 4 and the rotating shaft 22 of the insulated operating rod 2, another tool, a live-line work tool, can be attached to the rotating shaft 22 of the insulated operating rod 2.
[0023] As shown in FIG. 3 , the input gear 42, intermediate gear 43, ring gear 44, and pinion gear 45 are covered by the front case 46 of two cases 46, 47 that are divided axially. The input shaft 41 is covered by the rear case 47 and a connecting fitting 48 that is screwed to the rear case 47. A rotating shaft 49 that is screwed to the inside of the pinion gear 45 extends forward (to the left in FIG. 3 ) and forms a connecting shaft. A female threaded portion 49N is formed on the inside of the tip of the rotating shaft 49, and one end (rear end) of a shaft 49S is screwed into the threaded portion 49N. The other end (front end) of the shaft 49S is fitted into an input shaft (not shown) provided in the housing 31 to transmit the rotational force of the chainsaw 3, thereby enabling the saw chain 33 of the chainsaw 3 to rotate. The rotating shaft 49 is covered by a connecting fitting 49A that is screwed to the front case 46.
[0024] As described above, by configuring the ring gear 44, which meshes with the pinion gear 45, to rotate coaxially with the intermediate gear 43, it is possible to prevent the speed increaser 4 from becoming larger and heavier. In addition, as shown in Fig. 3, a recess 44A (see Fig. 3) into which part of the intermediate gear 43 fits is formed on the radially inner side of the ring gear 44, thereby achieving further size and weight reduction.
[0025] As shown in FIGS. 1 and 4 , the power tool 5 is an electric screwdriver, and includes a main body 51, a grip 52, and a power supply 53 consisting of a DC battery. The main body 51 includes a chuck 55 for attaching and detaching a bit 54, which constitutes an output shaft. The main body 51 houses a motor (not shown) for generating torque and a power transmission mechanism (not shown) for transmitting torque from the motor to the bit 54. A trigger switch 56 for turning the motor on and off is provided at the end of the grip 52 near the main body 51. By using the torque of the electric screwdriver as the driving source for the chainsaw 3, hydraulics such as those required for an aerial work platform are not required. Therefore, the tool can be used in environments where an aerial work platform cannot be used. Furthermore, by providing the power tool 5 at the base end of the insulated operating rod 2, the weight of the chainsaw can be reduced compared to when a power supply (driving source) such as a battery is provided on the chainsaw itself, thereby improving the operability of the indirect live-line work tree felling tool 1.
[0026] 1, the connecting portion 6 includes a metal drive-side bevel gear 61 that meshes with the driven-side bevel gear 26, and a metal drive-side rotating shaft 62 that is attached so as to rotate integrally with the drive-side bevel gear 61. A hexagonal hole 62K (see FIG. 4) into which the hexagonal shaft portion of the bit 54 fits is formed at the end of the drive-side rotating shaft 62 opposite to the drive-side bevel gear 61 side.
[0027] 1 and 4, a cylindrical metal first case 63 is fitted and fixed to the outside of the gripping portion 25 that covers the rotary shaft 22, and a metal second case 64 is connected and fixed to an extension portion 63A that extends horizontally outward from the first case 63. The driven-side bevel gear 26 and the drive-side bevel gear 61 are housed in the first case 63, and the drive-side rotary shaft 62 is housed in a rotatably supported state across the first case 63 and the second case 64. The bit side end of the second case 64 is provided with a fixing portion 65 (see FIG. 4) for fixing the chuck portion 55 therein.
[0028] When felling a tree using the tree felling tool 1 for indirect live-line work configured as described above, the trigger switch 56 is pressed while the saw chain 33 is pressed against the tree. This supplies power from the power supply unit 53 to drive the motor, which rotates the rotating shaft (transmission shaft) 22 of the insulated operating rod 2 via the connecting unit 6. The speed at which the chainsaw 3 is driven is increased by the speed increaser 4 to approximately three times the speed of the insulated operating rod 2, and then transmitted to the chainsaw 3 to cut the tree.
[0029] When performing other work on the power distribution line, for example, when repairing the power distribution line using a live-line work tool, which is an example of another tool, the input shaft 41 of the speed increaser 4 is removed from the tip of the rotating shaft 22 of the insulated operating rod 2, and the live-line work tool is then attached to the tip of the rotating shaft 22 of the insulated operating rod 2. Here, by disconnecting and separating the speed increaser 4 and the rotating shaft (transmission shaft) 22, which are currently connected to the chainsaw 3, the disconnection work can be performed more quickly than when the chainsaw 3 and the speed increaser 4 and the speed increaser 4 and the rotating shaft (transmission shaft) 22 are separately disconnected and separated. This allows the chainsaw 3 to be removed and other tools to be attached quickly. Furthermore, other work on the power distribution line may be performed by attaching a pipe inserter (not shown) to the tip of the insulated operating rod 2 to attach a protective pipe to the power distribution line. When performing such other work on the power distribution line, a reduction mechanism is provided to reduce the rotational speed of the rotating shaft 22 of the insulated operating rod 2, instead of the speed increaser 4.
[0030] The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment and can be modified in various ways.
[0031] In the above embodiment, the insulating operating rod 2 is configured with two shafts, the rotating shaft 22 and the fixed shaft 21, but it may be configured with a single rotating shaft.
[0032] In the above embodiment, the power tool 5 is used as the driving source for the chainsaw 3, but the chainsaw may be electrically driven and the battery that supplies power to the electrically driven chainsaw may be used as the driving source, or the chainsaw may be driven by an engine.
[0033] In the above embodiment, the chainsaw 3 is used as the tree-cutting tool section, but it may also be a reciprocating saw that cuts trees by reciprocating a blade, or an electric circular saw having a circular saw blade. [Explanation of symbols]
