Description

[Technical Field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a band supplying device for packaging steel products, and more particularly to a band supplying device for packaging steel products that can smoothly supply bands of various specifications to a binding device. [Background technology]

[0002] 2. Description of the Related Art Generally, steel products such as coils and plates produced in steel mills are bound with bands along their outer peripheries using a binding device for subsequent processing and transportation to consumers.

[0003] However, in the conventional method, when loading a band onto a band supplying device, the loading position must be changed depending on the size of the coiled band, which is inconvenient.

[0004] Here, depending on the position of the inner diameter of the band, the worker must manually adjust the attachment position of the band, which is a heavy object, resulting in a problem of reduced work efficiency.

[0005] Furthermore, when supplying or replacing a strap to a strapping device, an operator must guide the strap so that it passes through and circulates through a plurality of guide rolls positioned in the moving direction of the strap, which makes the installation work inconvenient and complicated, and requires a large number of operators, resulting in inefficiency.

[0006] In particular, when the band being supplied is used up and replaced with a new band, the band may become detached or tangled during the process, causing a problem of interruption of operation.

[0007] Furthermore, the bands can easily come undone or become tangled during replacement, causing poor binding of the steel products and resulting in safety hazards. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]

[0034] The present invention includes a loading unit 110 that loads a coiled band A, moves toward a supply unit 120, and adjusts its height according to the size (inner diameter or weight) of the band A; a supply unit 120 that fixes and rotates the inner diameter B of the band A supplied through the loading unit 110 and supplies it; a tension maintaining unit 130 that circulates the band A supplied through the supply unit 120 through a front guide roll 132, a middle guide roll 133, a rear guide roll 134, and a moving roll 135, and moves the band A to the binding device while maintaining tension due to the weight of the moving roll 135 that moves up and down; and a band guide unit 140 that moves the moving roll 135 upward when supplying or replacing band A, thereby providing a path for the band A to circulate through the front guide roll 132, middle guide roll 133, rear guide roll 134, and moving roll 135.

[0035] In particular, the loading unit 110 loads the band A wound in a coil shape vertically and adjusts its height so that the mounting part 126 of the supply unit 120 can be inserted into and fixed to the inner diameter part B of the band A.

[0036] As shown in FIG. 2, an embodiment of the loading unit 110 includes a body 111 configured to move toward the supply unit 120, a lifting body 112 configured to move up and down on the body 111, a support 113 configured to be positioned vertically on one side of the lifting body 112 and support the side of the band A, a loading portion 114 configured on the other side of the lifting body 112 to load the band A, and an adjustment means 115 configured to move the lifting body 112 up and down according to the size of the band A so that the mounting portion 126 of the supply unit 120 can be inserted into the inner diameter portion B of the band A.

[0037] 4, another embodiment of the loading unit 110 includes a body 111 configured to move toward the supply unit 120, a lifting body 112 configured to move up and down on the upper part of the body 111, a support 113 configured on one side of the lifting body 112, a rotation shaft 113a configured on one side of the upper part of the support 113 to face the supply unit 120, a reinforcing body 113b configured to rotate in front of the rotation shaft 113a, an elastic body 113c configured radially in front of the reinforcing body 113b, a cover 113d configured in front of the elastic body 113c to support a side of the band A, and an adjustment means 115 configured to move the lifting body 112 up and down according to the size of the band A so that the mounting part 126 of the supply unit 120 can be inserted into the inner diameter part B of the band A.

[0038] 5, another embodiment of the loading unit 110 includes a body 111 configured to move toward the supply unit 120, a lifting body 112 configured to move up and down on the upper part of the body 111, a support 113 configured on one side of the lifting body 112, a reinforcing body 113e configured on the front upper part of the support 113, a plurality of rollers 113f configured in front of the reinforcing body 113e, a rotating body 113g configured to rotate using the plurality of rollers 113f, an elastic body 113h configured radially in front of the rotating body 113g, a cover 113d configured in front of the elastic body 113h to support a side of the band A, and an adjusting means 115 configured to move the lifting body 112 up and down according to the size of the band A so that the mounting portion 126 of the supply unit 120 can be inserted into the inner diameter portion B of the band A.

[0039] Here, when loading the band A wound in a coil shape, the body 111 moves in the opposite direction to the supply unit 120 to secure a loading space, and when supplying the band A, the body 111 moves toward the supply unit 120.

[0040] Here, by including a plurality of supports 111a formed at the bottom of the body 111 and rails 111b formed in the direction of the supply unit 120 and on the top of which the supports 111a are seated, the loading unit 110 can be smoothly moved in the direction toward or away from the supply unit 120.

[0041] In particular, the support 111a may be a top or an LM block so that it can be seated on the upper surface of the rail 111b and move.

[0042] Meanwhile, the body 111 can be manually pushed or pulled by an operator and includes a threaded shaft 111c formed to be threadedly connected to the bottom of the body 111, and a driving means 111d for rotating the threaded shaft 111c. By operating the driving means 111d, the threaded shaft 111c rotates, and the body 111 can be moved in the direction toward or away from the supply unit 120.

[0043] Furthermore, the lift body 112 moves up and down by operating the adjusting means 115, and the height is adjusted.

[0044] The support 113 also supports one side of the band A which is erected in the vertical direction.

[0045] When viewed from the front, the loading portion 114 is formed to be gradually inclined downward from the outer side to the middle, so that the lower surface of the band A can be stably seated and loaded.

[0046] In particular, the rotating shaft 113a moves the loading unit 110 in the direction of the supply unit 120, and rotates at the same time as the mounting portion 126 rotates with the cover 113d in close contact with the side of the band A, thereby preventing the band A from coming off and stably supplying the band A to the tension maintaining unit 130.

[0047] Meanwhile, the elastic body 113c is located between the reinforcing body 113b and the cover 113d, and performs a buffering function when the cover 113d comes into close contact with the side of the band A.

[0048] Here, the elastic body 113c may be a spring having various shapes and sizes.

[0049] The cover 113d supports the sides of the band A that is standing vertically, and prevents the band A from coming off in the left and right directions during the supplying process.

[0050] In addition, when the mounting portion 126 rotates with the cover 113d in close contact with the side of the band A, the roller 113f rotates simultaneously with the rotating body 113g, thereby preventing the band A from coming off and stably supplying the band A to the tension maintaining unit 130.

[0051] Here, when the reinforcing member 113e is viewed from the side, a plurality of rollers 113f are formed radially, thereby helping the rotating member 113g to rotate stably.

[0052] In particular, the adjusting means 115 adjusts the height of the lifting body 112 according to the size of the band A, thereby guiding the mounting part 126 of the supply unit 120 to be smoothly inserted into the inner diameter part B of the band A.

[0053] The adjusting means 115 includes a plurality of guide shafts 115a formed vertically on both sides of the upper part of the body 111 to allow the lifting body 112 to move up and down, a screw shaft 115b formed vertically on one side of the upper part of the body 111 to be threadably connected to the lifting body 112, a driving means 115c for rotating the screw shaft 115b, and a measuring sensor 115d for measuring the inner diameter B of the band A on one or both sides of the support body 113 or for measuring the weight of the band A below the loading part 114.

[0054] Here, the guide shaft 115a guides the lift body 112 so that it can move smoothly in the vertical direction.

[0055] In particular, the screw shaft 115b can adjust the height by moving the lifting body 112 up and down depending on the rotation direction of the driving means 115c.

[0056] Here, the measuring sensor 115d can measure the inner diameter B of the band A or the weight of the band A using a contact or non-contact sensor, a load cell, or the like.

[0057] Furthermore, the center position of the inner diameter portion B, which changes depending on the size of the band A, and the weight of the band A are set and stored in the control unit of the driver's cab, and then the size of the band A loaded on the loading unit 110 is confirmed and compared, and the center position of the inner diameter portion B and the center position of the moving device 124 of the supply unit 120 are matched with each other, thereby allowing the lifting body 112 to move up and down.

[0067] In addition, the driving means 123a may be a motor or a combination of a motor and a reducer, and driving force may be transmitted between the screw shaft 123 and the driving means 123a using sprockets, pulleys, chains, belts, etc. of various specifications.

[0068] Furthermore, the moving shaft 123c can move the moving tool 124 in the front-rear direction by operating the moving means 123d, thereby expanding or contracting the plurality of mounting portions 126.

[0069] Here, the moving means 123d can move the moving shaft 123c in the forward and backward directions using a cylinder.

[0070] In particular, the moving tool 124 can move forward and backward to rotate the joint part 127 and the rotating part 128 in the up and down direction, thereby expanding or contracting the mounting part 126.

[0071] The support 125 also supports the other side of the band A which is standing vertically.

[0072] The mounting parts 126 are arranged in a plurality so as to be positioned radially outside the moving part 124, and when the moving part 124 moves backward with the moving part 124 and the mounting parts 126 connected by the joint part 127 and the rotating part 128, the inner diameter part B of the band A can be tightly fixed while expanding.

[0073] Here, the joint part 127 and the rotating part 128 support and guide the mounting part 126 so that it can stably move and rotate inward or outward.

[0074] Here, by providing a shaft or a pin at the connection portion between the joint portion 127 and the rotating portion 128 and the moving tool 124 and the mounting portion 126, smooth rotation is possible.

[0075] In the present invention, the interlocking unit 129 is detachably coupled to the engaging member 124a, and can expand or contract the mounting portion 126 depending on the direction of rotation.

[0076] The interlocking unit 129 includes a support 129a formed on one side of the lifting body 112 of the loading unit 110, a drive shaft 129b formed on the support 129a in a direction toward the engaging member 124a, an engaging member 129c formed in front of the drive shaft 129b to engage with the engaging member 124a, a driving means 129d for rotating the drive shaft 129b, and an elastic body 129e formed between the drive shaft 129b and the engaging member 129c.

[0077] In particular, the interlocking unit 129 moves simultaneously when the loading unit 110 transfers the band A to the supply unit 120, so that the engaging member 129c engages with the engaging piece 124a and rotates it.

[0078] Here, the drive shaft 129b rotates the engaging member 129c forward or backward by operating the driving means 129d, thereby moving the screw-connected moving member 124 in the forward or backward direction, thereby expanding or contracting the mounting portion 126.

[0079] Here, the driving means 129d can be a motor or a combination of a motor and a reducer.

[0080] In addition, the elastic body 129e may use various types of springs with various specifications to perform a buffering function when the engaging member 129c engages with the engaging piece 124a.

[0081] In the present invention, the tension maintaining unit 130 maintains the tension of the passing band A, prevents the band A from coming off or getting tangled, and smoothly supplies the band A to the binding device.

[0082] The tension maintaining unit 130 includes a body 131, a front guide roll 132 formed on one upper side of the body 131 so that the band A supplied via the supply unit 120 passes through, a plurality of intermediate guide rolls 133 formed in the middle of the upper part of the body 131 so that the band A circulates and passes through, a rear guide roll 134 formed on the other upper side of the body 131 so that the band A passes through, a moving roll 135 formed in the middle of the body 131 so that it moves up and down to maintain the tension of the passing band A, a front supply unit 136 formed on one front side of the body 131 so that it moves the band A toward the front guide roll 132, a rear supply unit 137 formed on one rear side of the body 131 so that it moves the band A toward the binding device, a front fixing unit 138 formed on one front side of the body 131 so that it fixes the band A, and a rear fixing unit 139 formed on one rear side of the body 131 so that it fixes the band A.

[0083] Here, the body 131 includes a front auxiliary roll 131a formed at the front of the lower part of the body 131 to guide the band A supplied through the supply unit 120 toward the front guide roll 132 and having a sensor 131c on one side of the lower part to check whether or not the band A is present, and a rear auxiliary roll 131b formed at the rear of the lower part of the body 131 to guide the band A toward the binding device.

[0084] In particular, the sensor 131c uses a contact or non-contact sensor, and when the leading end of the supplied band A passes by, it detects this and activates the front fixing unit 138 to fix the band A in a fixed position, thereby preventing the band A from coming off or becoming tangled.

[0085] Here, contact or non-contact type sensors 131d and 131e are provided on the front and rear sides of the body 131 to check the presence or movement of the band A, and the front fixing unit 138 and the rear fixing unit 139 are operated to fix the band A in a fixed position, thereby preventing the band A from coming off or getting tangled.

[0086] In addition, the front guide roll 132, the middle guide roll 133, and the rear guide roll 134 guide the band A so that it can circulate and pass through.

[0087] Here, the front guide roll 132 guides the band A to enter and circulate through the moving roll 135, the middle guide roll 133 and the moving roll 135 are provided in plurality and guide the band A to circulate repeatedly in the up and down direction, and the rear guide roll 134 discharges the leading end of the band A circulating through the moving roll 135.

[0088] Meanwhile, the moving roll 135 has a certain weight, and can constantly pull the circulating band A downward to maintain tension.

[0089] Here, the moving roll 135 can smoothly move up and down along a rail 135 a formed vertically in the middle of the body 131 .

[0090] Furthermore, the front supply unit 136 is a means for moving the leading end of the band A toward the front guide roll 132, and includes a contact roll 136a formed to move in the front-to-rear direction, a drive roll 136b formed to rotate in contact with the contact roll 136a, and an auxiliary roll 136c formed below the drive roll 136b.

[0091] Therefore, in a state where the contact roll 136a and the drive roll 136b are in close contact with the band A, the leading end of the band A can be moved by the rotation of the drive roll 136b.

[0092] Here, the auxiliary rolls 136c are positioned on both sides of the band A to prevent the band A from coming off.

[0093] The rear supply unit 137 is a means for moving the leading end of the band A toward the binding device, and includes a contact roll 137a configured to move in the front-rear direction, a drive roll 137b configured to rotate in contact with the contact roll 137a, and an auxiliary roll 137c configured above the drive roll 137b.

[0094] Therefore, in a state where the contact roll 137a and the drive roll 137b are in close contact with the band A, the leading end of the band A can be moved by the rotation of the drive roll 137b.

[0095] Here, the auxiliary rolls 137c are positioned on both sides of the band A to prevent the band A from coming off.

[0096] Here, a cylinder is provided behind the contact rolls 136a and 137a to move them forward and backward, and a motor is provided on one side of the driving rolls 136b and 137b to rotate them.

[0097] Meanwhile, the front fixing unit 138 and the rear fixing unit 139 fix the band A as soon as the sensor 131c detects the leading end of the moving band A, thereby preventing the band A from coming loose or coming off due to the moving roll 135 descending.

[0098] Here, the front fixing unit 138 and the rear fixing unit 139 include a pair of clamps for pressing and fixing the surface of the band A, and cylinders 138a, 139a for moving one of the pair of clamps in the forward and backward directions.

[0099] In the present invention, the band guide unit 140 serves to provide a passageway so that the band A can circulate naturally through the front guide roll 132, the middle guide roll 133, the rear guide roll 134 and the moving roll 135 without the need for an operator when supplying or replacing the band A.

[0100] The band guide unit 140 includes a front cover 132a that surrounds the outer surface of the front guide roll 132 and is open at the bottom, a middle cover 133a that surrounds the outer surface of the middle guide roll 133 and is open at the bottom, a rear cover 134a that surrounds the outer surface of the rear guide roll 134 and is open at the bottom, a guide cover 142 that surrounds the outer surface of the movable roll 135 when the movable roll 135 is seated inside and is open at the top, and a driving means 141 for moving the guide cover 142 in the vertical direction.

[0101] Here, the front cover 132a, the middle cover 133a, and the rear cover 134a are formed so that the band A surrounds the outer surfaces of the front guide roll 132, the middle guide roll 133, and the rear guide roll 134 and is open at the bottom, and the guide cover 142 surrounds the outer surface of the moving roll 135 and is open at the top. When the bottoms of the front cover 132a, the middle cover 133a, and the rear cover 134a come into contact with the top of the guide cover 142, a passage is formed that prevents the band A from slipping out and allows the band A to circulate and move naturally.

[0102] In particular, the movable roll 135 is seated inside the guide cover 142 and moves upward by the operation of the driving means 141, thereby guiding the band A so that it can circulate through the front guide roll 132, the middle guide roll 133, the rear guide roll 134 and the movable roll 135.

[0103] Here, the intermediate cover 133a and the guide cover 142 are formed to be inclined from one side to the other so that the band A can circulate in a spiral shape through the intermediate guide roll 133 and the moving roll 135.

[0104] Also, when the guide cover 142 moves downward, the moving roll 135 can move up and down to maintain the tension of the band A.

[0105] Here, the driving means 141 can be a combination of various types of cylinders or screw shafts and motors with various specifications.

[0106] Meanwhile, as shown in FIG. 8, a connecting unit 150 for connecting the rear end of a band in use with the front end of a new band and supplying them continuously may be provided between the supply unit 120 and the tension maintaining unit 130.

[0107] Here, the joining unit 150 includes a support 151 on the top surface that supports the rear end of the band A in use and the front end of the new band A so that they overlap, a fixture 152 formed on the top of the support 151 to fix the front ends of the bands A to each other, electrodes 154 and 155 formed on the middle upper and lower parts of the support 151 to weld the front ends of the bands A to each other, and a cylinder 153 for moving the electrode 154 up and down.

[0108] Therefore, in a state where both sides of the band A are fixed using the fixture 152, the electrodes 154 and 155 overlap the tips of the band A, and current is supplied to perform spot welding.

[0109] In particular, the electrodes 154 and 155 weld and join two points of the band A at a regular interval in the width direction, move the joined band A to the tension maintaining unit 130, fix the band A using the rear fixing unit 139, and then cut the overlapping portion of the joined band A with a separate cutting device, and supply the end of the cut band A to the binding device.

[0110] Therefore, in the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, a crane 160 having various shapes and configurations is used to transport the band A wound in a coil shape to the loading unit 110 and load it in a vertically standing state on the upper surface of the loading section 114.

[0111] Here, as shown in FIG. 10, the height of the lifting body 112 is adjusted by moving it up and down so that the mounting portion 126 can be inserted into the inner diameter portion B of the band A.

[0112] 11, the loading unit 110 is moved toward the supply unit 120, thereby guiding the mounting portion 126 so that it can be inserted into the inner diameter portion B of the band A.

[0113] Next, as shown in FIG. 12, the mounting portion 126 expands to fix the inner diameter portion B of the band A, and then the loading unit 110 returns to its initial position.

[0114] 13, the supply unit 120 operates to supply the leading end of the band A to the tension maintaining unit 130. Here, the leading end of the band A circulates through the front guide roll 132, the middle guide roll 133, the rear guide roll 134, and the moving roll 135 in this order, and moves to the binding device while maintaining tension.

[0115] Here, the guide cover 142 moves upward by the operation of the driving means 141 and maintains contact with the lower parts of the front cover 132a, the middle cover 133a, and the rear cover 134a, thereby forming a passage through which the moving band A can circulate naturally without falling off to the outside.

[0116] In particular, the operation of the band guide unit 140 eliminates the inconvenience and hassle of an operator having to manually hold the leading end of the band A and circulate it through the front guide roll 132, the middle guide roll 133, the rear guide roll 134, and the moving roll 135.

[0117] Finally, as shown in FIG. 14, the guide cover 142 moves downward, and the moving roll 135 moves up and down according to the feeding speed of the band A, so that the band A can be smoothly fed to the binding device while maintaining the tension of the band A.

[0118] Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail above, it goes without saying that the scope of the present invention is not limited thereto, and all things that are substantially equivalent to the embodiments of the present invention are included in the scope of the present invention.
