The conveyor system compares the peak current values ​​at startup of adjacent transport modules in front of and behind in the direction of travel, and, as one of the conditions, slows down the movement of transported objects on the transport module behind in the direction of travel if the peak current value of the transport module in front of in the direction of travel is greater than the peak current value of the transport module behind in the direction of travel.
