Abstract

The present invention provides a method for manufacturing collection bags that enables the mass production of highly functional collection bags that are easy to attach to and detach from collection bag supports, and can be easily removed from the support by closing the opening after collecting the collected items. [Solution] The method includes a string insertion part forming step, in which a folded-back piece 19 formed on the upper side of a rectangular sheet material 20 when viewed from the front is folded back to the surface side of the sheet material 20, and the center of the folded-back piece 19 in the height direction is joined to the sheet material 20 parallel to the upper side of the sheet material 20 to form a string insertion part 15; a support frame mounting part forming step, in which the lower end of the folded-back piece 19 is joined to the sheet material 20 parallel to the upper side of the sheet material 20 to form a support frame mounting part 17; a bag forming step, in which the sheet material 20 is folded in half in the width direction center with the back side facing inward, the left and right sides of the sheet material 20 are overlapped and joined, and the lower side of the folded sheet material 20 is joined to form a bag body 13; and a string insertion step, in which a string 14 is inserted through the string insertion part 15.
