Claims

1. A remotely operated tree felling system comprising: a flexible wire saw member having a cutting blade; an aircraft (drone) for circling the wire saw member around a target tree; a first powered traction device installed at a safe location away from the tree for towing the wire saw member to perform cutting; and anchoring means for connecting and fixing the first powered traction device to the ground, a tree, or a fixed object such as heavy machinery so that it does not move due to the reaction force during traction.

A remotely operated tree felling system according to claim 1, wherein a pulley member for controlling the pulling direction is provided between the first power traction device and the wire saw member, and the pulley member is installed at approximately the same height as the wire saw member on a standing tree other than the target to be felled, thereby applying a horizontal cutting force to the tree to be felled.

A remotely operated tree felling system according to claim 1 or 2, comprising: a wire rope for controlling the direction of falling connected to a position higher than the center of gravity of the standing tree; a second power traction device for pulling the wire rope; and anchor means for connecting and fixing the second power traction device to a fixed object, characterized in that the tree is felled in a reliable direction by performing traction from above in parallel with the cutting operation.
