Abstract
To provide a dustproof and waterproof housing for electronic equipment. [Solution] The housing of the electronic device includes a first housing 12, a sealing member 38, a second housing 54, and at least one lateral deformation prevention structure. The first housing has a receiving groove 16 and an opening 30 communicating with the receiving groove. The sealing member is made of an elastic material and is placed in the receiving groove. The sealing member has at least one cable hole and at least one slit communicating with at least one cable hole and the outside of the sealing member. The second housing engages with the first housing and presses the sealing member to close the opening. At least one lateral deformation prevention structure abuts against two parts of the sealing member. The two parts of the sealing member are located on opposite sides of at least one cable hole in the radial direction of at least one cable hole.
