Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a jig for producing a laminated tape and a method for producing a laminated tape using the same. [Background technology]
[0002] Calcium-based inorganic materials such as concrete, cement, gypsum, and stone are constantly subject to problems of deterioration over time, such as weathering, contamination by moss, and wear, cracking, and peeling due to aging, and various repair techniques have been established and proposed.
[0003] In response to this, a surface modification composition has been developed in recent years that is composed of a mixture of a resin having a silanol group or a group convertible to a silanol group, a water-soluble alkali silicate compound, and silica sand or calcium carbonate (Patent Document 1). Such a surface modification composition provides a thick coating film for the calcium-based inorganic material, and in addition to repairing the above-mentioned deterioration over time, it can also impart new design features to the calcium inorganic material.
[0004] On the other hand, when calcium-based inorganic materials are arranged in a predetermined position in a building or the like, a large number of joints consisting of parallel or intersecting straight lines may be provided between adjacent materials. Joints may also be provided when arranging wooden boards or wood-based boards. These joints function to conceal the joints between the materials and also to add a new design to the entire surface on which they are arranged.
[0005] However, generally, providing a coating on a component while providing a desired joint requires complicated work, for example, forming a coating while avoiding the joint area, and then separately placing a separate material such as caulking material in the joint area. [0006] [Patent Document 1] JP 2011-084439 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0007] The present invention is intended to solve the above problems, and has as its object to provide a laminated tape manufacturing tool that can easily form a joint-like pattern between coating films on various components such as calcium-based inorganic components, and a method for manufacturing a laminated tape using the same. [Means for solving the problem]
[0008] The present invention relates to a laminated tape manufacturing jig, a housing including a main body cover and a lid cover and having a tape outlet; a first tape roll composed of a first tape having a first base layer and a first adhesive layer, and a second tape roll composed of a second tape having a second base layer and a second adhesive layer, which are arranged in parallel within the main body cover; Equipped with A first support column for holding the first tape roll in a rotatable state and a second support column for holding the second tape roll in a rotatable state are arranged in parallel within the main body cover; and The first tape roll and the second tape roll are positioned in a jig such that the second tape pulled out from the second tape roll is adhered to the first tape pulled out from the first tape roll.
[0009] In one embodiment, application of the second tape onto the first tape is enhanced by a lamination guide provided within the body cover.
[0010] In one embodiment, the lid cover is made of a transparent material.
[0011] In one embodiment, the first base material layer in the first tape and the second base material layer in the second tape are each independently composed of an entangled body of fibrous material.
[0012] In one embodiment, the second adhesive layer of the second tape comprises a weak adhesive.
[0013] In one embodiment, the laminate tape is a joint pattern forming laminate.
[0014] The present invention also provides a method for producing a laminated tape, comprising the step of pulling out the first tape and the second tape together from the tape pulling out opening of the laminated tape production jig. Effect of the Invention
[0015] According to the present invention, it is possible to easily form a desired joint-like pattern between coating films on various materials such as calcium-based inorganic materials. The present invention does not require cutting (groove cutting) to form the joint-like pattern, or the placement and drying of a caulking material, and it is also possible to shorten the construction time compared to when a caulking material is used. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0017] The present invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which like reference numbers are used throughout the drawings to designate similar features as shown in the other drawings.
[0018] (1) Laminated tape manufacturing tool As shown in FIG. 1, a laminated tape production jig 100 of the present invention includes a housing 110 , a first tape roll 120 , a second tape roll 130 , a first support post 140 , and a second support post 150 .
[0019] (Housing) FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of the laminated tape manufacturing jig 100 shown in FIG.
[0020] 2, the housing 110 includes a main body cover 112 and a lid cover 114. The main body cover 112 and the lid cover 114 both have a shape with a recessed inner side, and can be integrated into one housing 110 by, for example, fitting together. The integrated main body cover 112 and lid cover 114 (i.e., the housing 110) can house the first tape roll 120 and the second tape roll 130 therein.
[0021] The main body cover 112 and the lid cover 114 are made of a material having a predetermined strength, such as plastic, metal, wood, or a composite material.
[0022] Examples of plastics include thermoplastics such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), styrene, polycarbonate, acrylic, and thermosetting resins such as epoxy resins, as well as combinations thereof.
[0023] Examples of metals include ferrous metals such as steel, tool steel, carbon steel, ferrous alloys, and stainless steel; non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, nickel, magnesium, titanium, copper, and alloys containing these; and combinations thereof.
[0024] Examples of composite materials include fiber reinforced plastics (FRP), fiber reinforced metals (FRM), fiber reinforced ceramics (FRC), and metal matrix composites (MMC), wood-based resin compositions (e.g., wood flour-containing resin compositions), and combinations thereof.
[0025] In the present invention, for example, the lid cover 114 is made of a transparent material (e.g., polycarbonate, acrylic resin) because the remaining amounts of the first tape roll 120 and the second tape roll 130 in the housing 110 can be easily checked visually as appropriate. In the present invention, either or both of the main body cover 112 and the lid cover 114 may be made of the transparent material. Alternatively, the transparent material may be disposed in a small window portion (not shown) provided in at least one of the main body cover 112 and the lid cover 114.
[0026] There is no particular limitation on the size of the main body cover 112 and the lid cover 114. For example, as shown in Fig. 3, the main body cover 112 and the lid cover 114 have a sufficient height (or depth) so that no gap is generated between them when they house the first tape roll 120 and the second tape roll 130 therein.
[0027] 2, main body cover 112 and lid cover 114 are provided with notches 162, 164 in a portion thereof so that when they are brought together they can form one tape pull-out opening 160. Tape pull-out opening 160 has a size that allows laminated tape 170 obtained using first tape roll 120 and second tape roll 130 to be pulled out from inside to outside of housing 110. Tape pull-out opening 160 may be provided with a tape cutter (not shown).
[0028] In the present invention, for example, a lamination guide 116 may be provided inside the main body cover 112. The lamination guide 116 has a long and thin shape which may be curved as appropriate, and can assist and strengthen the adhesion of the first tape 122 pulled out from the first tape roll 120 and the second tape 132 pulled out from the second tape roll 130 by lamination. For example, in FIG. 2, the stacking guide 116 is provided near a notch 164 in the main body cover 112, and the first tape 122 pulled out from the first tape roll 120 and the second tape 132 pulled out from the second tape roll 130 are adjacent to each other at a shoulder portion 166 provided at the end of the stacking guide 116 near the notch 164, and the second tape 132 abuts against the shoulder portion 166, so that the first tape 122 and the second tape 132 come into contact with each other and are stacked so as to be firmly adhered to each other to form the laminated tape 170.
[0029] 2 shows an example in which stacking guide 116 is provided inside main body cover 112, but the present invention is not limited to this. The stacking guide may be provided inside lid cover 114 instead of main body cover 112. Alternatively, the stacking guide may be a structure having a protrusion provided inside each of main body cover 112 and lid cover 114, which abuts against each other when main body cover 112 and lid cover 114 are brought into contact with each other to form a single structure.
[0030] (First tape roll and second tape roll) In the laminated tape manufacturing jig 100 of the present invention shown in FIG. 2, a first tape roll 120 and a second tape roll 130 are arranged side by side within a main body cover 112 .
[0031] FIG. 4(a) is a plan view showing an example of the first tape roll 120 constituting the laminated tape manufacturing jig 100 shown in FIG.
[0032] The first tape roll 120 is configured by winding, for example, a long tape having a substantially constant width (first tape 122) around a cylindrical core material 124 such as a cardboard tube or a plastic tube with an open center. The width of the first tape 122 is a length corresponding to the width of the joint-like pattern to be formed, and is, for example, 2 mm to 30 mm, and preferably 3 mm to 15 mm.
[0033] The term "joint-like pattern" as used in this specification includes a pattern that mimics the joint formed between two components when they are placed adjacent to each other (a so-called joint pattern), and a pattern that has height differences along the contours of letters, figures, and any other geometric shape to create bumps or steps on a flat surface (a so-called uneven pattern or step pattern), as well as combinations thereof.
[0034] The first tape 122 includes a first base layer 122a and a first adhesive layer 122b.
[0035] The first base layer 122a is made of a thin structure such as a sheet, fabric, etc. The first base layer 122a is preferably made of an entangled fibrous material, because it is flexible and highly stretchable, and can be attached to various coating members (e.g., calcium-based inorganic members) having uneven surfaces, corners, and curved surfaces without forming any gaps or voids.
[0036] The first base material layer 122a is made of a material such as paper (e.g., Japanese paper, crepe paper), cloth (e.g., woven cloth, net cloth, nonwoven cloth composed of synthetic fibers and / or natural fibers), polyester (e.g., polyester film, polyester sheet), polypropylene (e.g., polypropylene film, polypropylene sheet), polyvinyl chloride (e.g., polyvinyl chloride film, polyvinyl chloride sheet), fluororesin (e.g., polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) film, PTFE sheet, perfluoroalkoxyalkane (PFA) film, PFA sheet, perfluoroethylenepropene copolymer (FEP) film, FEP sheet, silicone resin (e.g., silicone film, silicone sheet), and metal foil (e.g., aluminum tape, copper foil, gold foil).
[0037] The thickness of the first base layer 122a is not particularly limited, and an appropriate thickness can be selected by a person skilled in the art.
[0038] The first adhesive layer 122b is a layer made of an adhesive capable of adhering to a coating member, and may have either strong or weak adhesive properties to the coating member.
[0039] The adhesive that may constitute the first adhesive layer 122b is not particularly limited, but may include, for example, synthetic adhesives, natural adhesives, and combinations thereof. Specific examples of synthetic adhesives include acrylic resin adhesives, α-olefin adhesives, urethane resin adhesives, ethylene-vinyl acetate resin adhesives, epoxy resin adhesives, vinyl chloride adhesives, vinyl acetate resin adhesives, cyanoacrylate adhesives, silicone adhesives, nitrocellulose adhesives, phenolic resin adhesives, polyimide adhesives, polystyrene adhesives, polyvinyl alcohol adhesives, polyvinylpyrrolidone resin adhesives, polyvinyl butyral resin adhesives, melamine resin adhesives, urea resin adhesives, resorcinol adhesives, and rubber adhesives (e.g., chloroprene rubber adhesives, styrene-butadiene rubber adhesives, and nitrile rubber adhesives), as well as combinations thereof. Specific examples of natural adhesives include casein adhesives, rubber adhesives (e.g., natural rubber adhesives and natural rubber latex adhesives), starch adhesives, glue, and rosin, as well as combinations thereof.
[0040] The thickness of the first adhesive layer 122b is not particularly limited, and an appropriate thickness can be selected by a person skilled in the art.
[0041] The first tape 122 may include another intermediate layer (not shown) between the first base layer 122a and the first adhesive layer 122b. The intermediate layer is made of a material such as paper, cloth, metal mesh, synthetic resin, etc., and is preferably made of a material different from the material constituting the first base layer 122a.
[0042] In (a) of Figure 4, the first tape 122 is laminated so that the first adhesive layer 122b is located more inward than the first base material layer 122a (i.e., in the first tape 122, the first adhesive layer 122b is located closer to the tubular core material 124 than the first base material layer 122a).
[0043] However, in the present invention, there is no particular limitation to this stacking order of first base material layer 122a and first adhesive layer 122b constituting first tape 122. For example, in first tape 122, the first base material layer may be stacked on the inner side of the first adhesive layer (i.e., in first tape 122, the first base material layer may be disposed closer to the cylindrical core material than the first adhesive layer) (hereinafter, a first tape having such a stacking order will be referred to as a "reverse-wound first tape").
[0044] In addition, when using a reverse-wound first tape in the present invention, it is necessary to use it in combination with a reverse-wound second tape described below. In that case, it should be noted that the arrangement order of the first tape 120 and the second tape 130 in Fig. 1 is reversed (i.e., the second tape 130 is arranged on the proximal side of the tape outlet 160 in the housing 110, and the first tape 120 is arranged on the distal side of the tape outlet 160).
[0045] FIG. 4(b) is a plan view showing an example of the second tape roll 130 constituting the laminated tape manufacturing jig 100 shown in FIG.
[0046] The second tape roll 130 is configured by winding, for example, a long tape (second tape 132) having a substantially constant width around a cylindrical core material 134 such as a cardboard tube or a plastic tube with an open center. The width of the second tape 132 is designed to be substantially the same as the width of the first tape 122.
[0047] The second tape 132 includes a second base layer 132a and a second adhesive layer 132b.
[0048] The second base material layer 132a is made of a thin structure such as a sheet, fabric, etc. The second base material layer 132a is preferably made of an entangled fibrous material, because the second base material layer 132a is flexible and highly stretchable, and can conform to the first base material layer 122a, allowing the second tape 132 and the first tape 122 to be laminated together with almost no gaps or voids formed between them.
[0049] The material constituting the second base material layer 132a is the same as the material exemplified for the first base material layer 122a. In one laminated tape production jig, the material constituting the second base material layer 132a and the material constituting the first base material layer 122a may be the same or different.
[0050] The thickness of the second base layer 132a is not particularly limited, and an appropriate thickness can be selected by a person skilled in the art.
[0051] The second adhesive layer 132b is a layer composed of an adhesive that can be peeled off from the first tape roll 120 (e.g., the first base layer 122a), and is composed of, for example, a layer that has weak adhesive properties relative to the first base layer 122a of the first tape roll 120 (i.e., a weak adhesive layer).
[0052] Adhesives that may constitute the second adhesive layer 132b include, but are not limited to, acrylic adhesives, rubber adhesives (e.g., chloroprene rubber adhesives, styrene-butadiene rubber adhesives, nitrile rubber adhesives, natural rubber adhesives, and natural rubber latex adhesives), and combinations thereof.
[0053] The thickness of the second adhesive layer 132b is not particularly limited, and an appropriate thickness can be selected by one skilled in the art.
[0054] The second tape 132 may include another intermediate layer (not shown) between the second base layer 132a and the second adhesive layer 132b. The intermediate layer is made of a material such as paper, cloth, metal mesh, synthetic resin, etc., and is preferably made of a material different from the material constituting the second base layer 132a.
[0055] In (b) of Figure 4, the second tape 132 is laminated so that the second adhesive layer 132b is located more inward than the second base material layer 132a (i.e., in the second tape 132, the second adhesive layer 132b is located closer to the tubular core material 134 than the second base material layer 132a).
[0056] However, in the present invention, there is no particular limitation to this stacking order of second base material layer 132a and second adhesive layer 132b constituting second tape 132. For example, in second tape 132, the second base material layer may be stacked on the inner side of the second adhesive layer (i.e., in second tape 132, the second base material layer is disposed closer to the cylindrical core material side than the second adhesive layer) (a second tape having such a stacking order is referred to as a "reverse-wound second tape").
[0057] As described above, when using a reverse-wound second tape in the present invention, it is necessary to use it in combination with a reverse-wound first tape. Furthermore, as described above, it should be noted that the arrangement order of the first tape 120 and the second tape 130 in FIG. 1 should be reversed at that time.
[0058] Furthermore, in the present invention, the first tape 122 constituting the first tape roll 120 and the second tape 132 constituting the second tape roll 130 may both be commercially available masking tapes. In particular, in the present invention, it is preferable that the second tape 132 is a masking tape because it can be easily peeled off from the first tape 122.
[0059] Masking tapes, in terms of form, include, for example, long, narrow tapes (such as masking tape), as well as letters, symbols, other geometric shapes, and combinations thereof (such as masking stickers and labels).
[0060] In the present invention, the masking tapes may be, for example, either painting masking tapes or decorative masking tapes.
[0061] Painting masking tapes include masking tapes used for painting and sealing work, also known as curing tapes. For example, some painting masking tapes use Japanese paper or synthetic resin for the base layer and rubber-based adhesive or acrylic adhesive for the adhesive layer.
[0062] Decorative masking tapes include tapes, stickers, and labels printed with various patterns and colors and used for purposes other than traditional masking. For example, decorative masking tapes include those that use Japanese paper for the base layer and a rubber-based adhesive or an acrylic-based adhesive for the adhesive layer.
[0063] Referring again to FIG. 2, in the present invention, either paint masking tapes or decorative masking tapes can be used as the first tape 122 constituting the first tape roll 120 and the second tape 132 constituting the second tape roll 130.
[0064] For example, in the case of using masking tape as the masking tape, in the present invention, a decorative masking tape may be used as the first tape 122, and a painting masking tape may be placed on top of it as the second tape 132.
[0065] In the laminated tape production jig 100 of the present invention shown in Figure 2, a case has been described in which two tape rolls (i.e., a first tape roll 120 and a second tape roll 130) are arranged within the housing 110, but the number of tape rolls that can be used in the present invention is not limited to this.
[0066] For example, together with the first tape roll and the second tape roll, a third tape roll (not shown) may be arranged in parallel inside the housing 110. In this case, the third tape (not shown) constituting the third tape roll is laminated inside the housing together with the first tape constituting the first tape roll and the second tape constituting the second tape roll, and can be discharged outside the housing as a triple laminated tape.
[0067] (First and second pillars) As shown in FIG. 2, in the laminated tape production jig 100 of the present invention, the first support column 140 and the second support column 150 are arranged side by side within the main body cover 112 .
[0068] The first support 140 and the second support 150 each have a cylindrical appearance that protrudes inside the main body cover 112 and are either fixed to the inside of the main body cover 112 or arranged so that they can rotate within the main body cover 112 using means known to those skilled in the art (e.g., bearings).
[0069] When the first support pillar 140 is fixed to the inside of the main body cover 112, the outer diameter of the first support pillar 140 is designed to be smaller than the diameter of the opening of the cylindrical core material 124 that constitutes the first tape roll 120. As a result, when the first tape 122 is pulled out from the first tape roll 120 with the first tape roll 120 placed on the first support pillar 140, the first tape roll 120 can rotate around the first support pillar 140 in response to the pulling out.
[0070] Similarly, when the second support pillar 150 is fixed to the inside of the main body cover 112, the outer diameter of the second support pillar 150 is designed to be smaller than the diameter of the opening of the cylindrical core material 134 that constitutes the second tape roll 130. As a result, when the second tape 132 is pulled out from the second tape roll 130 with the second tape roll 130 placed on the second support pillar 150, the second tape roll 130 can rotate around the second support pillar 150 in response to the pulling out.
[0071] Alternatively, when the first support pillar 140 is arranged so as to be rotatable within the body cover 112, the outer diameter of the first support pillar 140 is designed to be approximately the same as the diameter of the opening of the cylindrical core material 124 that constitutes the first tape roll 120. As a result, when the first tape 122 is pulled out from the first tape roll 120 with the first tape roll 120 arranged on the first support pillar 140, the first tape roll 120 can rotate together with the first support pillar 140 in response to the pulling out.
[0072] Similarly, when the second support pillar 150 is arranged so as to be rotatable within the body cover 112, the outer diameter of the second support pillar 150 is designed to be approximately the same as the diameter of the opening of the cylindrical core material 134 constituting the second tape roll 130. As a result, when the second tape 132 is pulled out from the second tape roll 130 with the second tape roll 130 arranged on the second support pillar 150, the second tape roll 130 can rotate together with the second support pillar 150 in response to the pulling out.
[0073] In this manner, the first support 140 and the second support 150 can enable individual and independent rotation of the first tape roll 120 and the second tape roll 130 around their respective axes within the housing 110 through the body cover 112, in response to the withdrawal of the first tape 122 and the second tape 132, respectively.
[0074] The height of each of first support column 140 and second support column 150 is not particularly limited, and may be any height that can be accommodated within housing 110.
[0075] (Method of manufacturing laminated tape) 1, in the laminated tape production jig 100 of the present invention, a first tape 122 constituting a first tape roll 120 and a second tape 132 constituting a second tape roll 130 are pulled out together from a tape pull-out port 160 of a housing 110. This pull-out causes the first tape roll 120 and the second tape roll 130 to rotate around the first support pillar 140 and the second support pillar 150, respectively, within the housing 110. Then, new first tapes 122 and second tapes 132 are pulled out from the first tape roll 120 and the second tape roll 130, respectively, within the housing 110.
[0076] Here, in the housing 110, the second tape 132 pulled out from the second tape roll 130 comes into contact with the first tape 122 pulled out from the first tape roll 120 when it abuts against, for example, the shoulder portion 166 of the lamination guide 116, and the first tape 122 and the second tape 132 are adhered to each other to form the laminated tape 170. Thereafter, the required length of the laminated tape 170 is pulled out from the tape pull-out opening 160 of the housing 110.
[0077] The obtained laminated tape 170 is used as a laminate for forming a joint pattern, for example, for forming a joint pattern on a member such as a coating member.
[0078] (Method for producing coated member having joint-like pattern) Next, an example of a method for producing a coated member having a joint-like pattern using the laminated tape obtained from the laminated tape production jig of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In the following, the case where the laminated tape 170 shown in Fig. 1 is used as a laminate for forming a joint-like pattern will be described with reference to Figs. 5 and 6.
[0079] In the present invention, first, the laminated tape 170 is placed on a coating member 210 as shown in FIG. 5(a).
[0080] The coating member is a member on which a joint-like pattern is desired to be formed, and may be, for example, a plate, a column, a disk, or any other three-dimensional shape. Examples of coating members include calcium-based inorganic members such as concrete, cement, gypsum, stone, and artificial slate (sometimes simply called slate); tiles, blocks, gypsum or wood boards, flooring materials (including, for example, wood, stone, and synthetic resin), glass plates, synthetic resin plates (including, for example, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, polystyrene, and ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) resin), wooden or metal pillars, gates, exterior wall materials, interior wall materials, and other exterior and interior materials for buildings; exterior and interior materials for vehicles such as automobiles, trains, ships, and aircraft; housings for household electrical appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, televisions, and microwave ovens; play equipment such as slides and jungle gyms; toys such as toy cars and miniature house toys (for example, dollhouses); and the like. The member to be coated may be previously coated with a primer such as a sealer or filler, a rust inhibitor, or other undercoat coating known to those skilled in the art.
[0081] The laminated tape 170 is arranged on the coating member 210 by bonding the first adhesive layer of the first tape constituting the laminated tape 170 to the coating member 210. In this case, the laminated tape 170 may be pulled out to a predetermined length from the laminated tape preparation jig of the present invention and cut in advance, or the laminated tape 170 may be bonded to the coating member 210 while being pulled out from the laminated tape preparation jig of the present invention, and then the laminated tape 170 may be cut from the laminated tape preparation jig. For example, when the coating member 210 is a flat tile, the laminated tape 170 is arranged in a state where it protrudes from the plane 212 of the coating member 210 ((a) of FIG. 6).
[0082] Next, as shown in FIG. 5(b), a coating film 220 is formed on the surface of the coating member 210 on which the laminated tape 170 is placed.
[0083] The coating film 220 may be provided, for example, so as to be at approximately the same height as the laminated tape 170 arranged on the coating member 210 (FIG. 6(b)), but the arrangement of the coating film in the present invention is not limited to this. For example, the coating film may be arranged so that the surface of the coating film is lower than the surface of the laminate, or the coating film may be arranged so that the surface of the coating film is higher than the surface of the laminate (for example, so as to cover the laminate).
[0084] The type of paint capable of forming such a coating film 220 is not particularly limited, but it is preferable that the paint be capable of forming a thick coating or a moderate film thickness. Examples of paint capable of forming such a thick coating or a moderate film thickness include acrylic paint, styrene-acrylic paint, urethane paint, epoxy paint, and hobby paint (e.g., lacquer and enamel paint), as well as combinations thereof. For example, a surface modification composition as described in Patent Document 1 may be used as the paint.
[0085] Thereafter, the second tape 132 of the laminated tape 170 is separated from the coating film 220 as shown in FIG. 5( c ).
[0086] Specifically, after the coating film 220 is formed, the first tape 122 of the laminated tape 170 is placed on the coating member 210, and the second tape 132 is slowly peeled off.
[0087] For example, when the coating film 220 is formed so as to be at approximately the same height as the top surface of the second tape 132 of the laminated tape 170 as shown in Fig. 6(b), peeling off the second tape 132 causes a difference in height between the top surface of the first tape 122 remaining on the coating member 210 and the top surface of the coating film 220, which corresponds to the thickness of the peeled off second tape 132 (Fig. 6(c)). In addition, the first base layer 122a constituting the first tape 122 appears on the top surface of the first tape 122.
[0088] As a result, a coating film 220 and joints 224 of a depth equivalent to the thickness of the peeled-off second tape 132 are formed on the surface of the coating member 210 (Figure 6 (c)), and the joints 224 appear as a pattern (joint-like pattern) on the surface of the coating member 210 as shown in Figure 5 (d).
[0089] On the other hand, when the coating film is formed covering the laminated tape 170, peeling off the second tape 132 results in a difference in height between the remaining coating film surface and the constituent surface of the first tape 122 that appears when the second tape 132 is peeled off, the difference being equal to or greater than the thickness of the second tape 132. In this way, the height between the remaining coating film surface and the constituent surface of the first tape 122 can be varied depending on how the coating film is formed on the laminated tape 170.
[0090] Thereafter, a clear paint known to those skilled in the art may be applied to the coating 220 and joints 224 to provide a desired gloss and for surface protection purposes, if necessary, and a clear coat layer 230 may be applied (FIG. 6(d)).
[0091] In this manner, a coated member 200 having a joint-like pattern can be produced.
[0092] A plurality of coating members 200 having a joint-like pattern produced as described above are arranged, for example as shown in FIG. 7, by utilizing the joints 224 that appear on the surface.
[0093] In the above method, a joint-like pattern can be easily formed on a coating film without using special operations and / or materials for forming joints, such as cutting grooves or caulking materials.
[0094] In addition, in the above-mentioned Fig. 5 and Fig. 6, the case where a tape-shaped laminate is used as the joint-like pattern forming laminate is described, but the present invention is not limited to only this embodiment. For example, when a laminate of elongated masking seals or labels having characters, symbols, or any other geometric shape is used as the first tape and the second tape instead of the tape-shaped joint-like pattern forming laminate, a joint-like pattern (so-called uneven pattern or step pattern) corresponding to the shape (e.g., outline) of the masking seal or label can be easily created on the coating member. Furthermore, when a decorative masking seal or label is used as the first base layer of the first tape, it is also possible for the color, figure, or pattern applied to the decorative masking seal or label of the first base layer to appear on the surface as a part of the joint-like pattern.
[0095] (2) Other laminated tape manufacturing tools FIG. 8 is an exploded perspective view of another example of the laminated tape producing jig of the present invention.
[0096] The laminated tape manufacturing jig 300 shown in Figure 8 has three first tape rolls 320A, 320B, 320C and a wide second tape roll 330 housed between the main body cover 112 and the lid body cover 114 that constitute the housing 110 so that they can rotate around the first support pillar 340 and the second support pillar 350, respectively.
[0097] Each of the first tape rolls 320A, 320B, and 320C is made of a material similar to that of the first tape roll 120 shown in Figure 1, and may have the same or different widths. The second tape roll 330 is made of a material similar to that of the second tape roll 130 shown in Figure 1.
[0098] 8 is designed so that the sum of the widths of the first tapes 320A, 320B, 320C constituting the three first tape rolls 320A, 320B, 320C is approximately the same as the width of the second tape 332 constituting the second tape roll 330. Furthermore, the first tapes 322A, 322B, 322C are each independently marked with any color, pattern, figure, etc.
[0099] In such a configuration, the laminated tape (not shown) drawn out from the tape drawing port 160 of the laminated tape fabrication jig 300 is attached on the first tapes 322A, 322B, 322C in a state where the second tape 332 arranged above is arranged next to the three first tapes 322A, 322B, 322C arranged below. For this reason, by attaching the obtained laminated tape to the above-mentioned coating member 210, for example, and slowly peeling off only the second tape 332, a joint-like pattern consisting of the three first tapes 322A, 322B, 322C arranged in parallel on the coating member 210 can be formed (see joint-like pattern 380 in FIG. 10).
[0100] 8, a case where three first tape rolls 320A, 320B, and 320C are used has been described, but the present invention is not particularly limited to this. When a plurality of first tape rolls are used in a stacked manner, preferably 2 to 7, and more preferably 2 to 4 tape rolls may be used in a stacked manner.
[0101] FIG. 9 is an exploded perspective view of a further example of the laminated tape producing jig of the present invention.
[0102] 9, three first tape rolls 420A, 420B, 420C and a wide second tape roll 430 are accommodated between the main body cover 112 and the lid body cover 114 constituting the housing 110 so as to be rotatable about a first support column 440 and a second support column 450, respectively. In addition, an annular spacer 460 is disposed between the first tape rolls 420A and 420B, and an annular spacer 470 is disposed between the first tape rolls 420B and 420C.
[0103] The annular spacers 460 and 470 have a circular hole in the center that is designed to be larger than the diameter of the first support 440, and the thickness of the annular spacer 460 and the thickness of the annular spacer 470 may be the same or different. The annular spacers 460 and 470 are each independently made of a material such as the above-mentioned plastic, metal, composite material, or the like.
[0104] The annular spacers 460, 470 are used to provide gaps between the first tapes 422A and 422B, and between the first tapes 422B and 422C in the first tape rolls 420A, 420B, and 420C, corresponding to the respective thicknesses of the spacers 460, 470.
[0105] On the other hand, the first tape rolls 420A, 420B, and 420C are each made of the same material as the first tape roll 120 shown in Figure 1, and may have the same or different widths. The second tape roll 430 is made of the same material as the second tape roll 130 shown in Figure 1.
[0106] 9 is designed so that the sum of the widths of the first tapes 422A, 422B, 422C constituting the three first tape rolls 420A, 420B, 420C and the widths of the annular spacers 460, 470 is approximately the same as the width of the second tape 432 constituting the second tape roll 430. Furthermore, the first tapes 422A, 422B, 422C are each independently displayed with any color, pattern, figure, etc.
[0107] In such a configuration, the laminated tape (not shown) drawn out from the tape drawing port 160 of the laminated tape fabrication jig 400 has the second tape 432 arranged above and the three first tapes 422A, 422B, 422C arranged below, stuck on the first tapes 422A, 422B, 422C in a state in which the second tape 432 arranged above and the three first tapes 422A, 422B, 422C arranged below are placed at intervals corresponding to the thickness of the annular spacers 460, 470. For this reason, by sticking the obtained laminated tape, for example, to the above-mentioned coating member 210 and slowly peeling off only the second tape 432, it is possible to form a joint-like pattern composed of the three first tapes 320A, 320B, 320C arranged in parallel with intervals 452, 454 on the coating member 210 (see the joint-like pattern 480 in FIG. 10).
[0108] 9, a case has been described in which three first tape rolls 420A, 420B, 420C and two annular spacers 460, 470 are used, but the present invention is not particularly limited thereto. When a plurality of first tape rolls are used in a stacked manner, preferably two to seven, more preferably two to four tape rolls may be used in a stacked manner. Correspondingly, preferably one to six, more preferably one to three annular spacers may be used in a state in which they are sandwiched between the first tape rolls. [Industrial Applicability]
[0109] According to the present invention, for example, when forming a coating film on various coating members, a joint-like pattern having a desired shape can be formed. Alternatively, the laminated tape can be directly attached to the surface of a predetermined substrate without forming a coating film, and can be used for decoration of vehicles such as automobiles, motorcycles, trains, and ships, and interior walls of houses. Thus, the present invention is useful in technical fields such as the architectural field, the automotive field, and the electrical field. [Explanation of symbols]
