Abstract

To provide a carrier for electrostatic charge image development excellent in preventing a change in density even when printing with less amount of images are continuously performed and subsequently high-density printing is performed.SOLUTION: A carrier for electrostatic charge image development has a magnetic particle and a resin coating layer that covers the magnetic particle. The resin coating layer includes inorganic particles. The ratio of the surface area B to the plan view area A (B / A) when a carrier surface is three-dimensionally analyzed is 1.020 or more and 1.100 or less. The surface roughness of the magnetic particle satisfies 0.5 μm≤Sm≤2.5 μm and 0.3 μm≤Ra≤1.2 μm.SELECTED DRAWING: None
