Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a plastic-frame-attached glass for a vehicle window, which is provided with electrical components. [Background technology]
[0002] Glass sheets for vehicle windows, particularly glass sheets for automobiles, such as side glass fixed to a vehicle window opening, often have a resin frame integrally provided on the periphery thereof to fill the gap between the glass sheet and the vehicle window opening. This resin frame fixes the glass sheet to the vehicle window opening and seals the vehicle window opening, while at the same time improving the external design of the side glass.
[0003] The resin frame is formed integrally with the glass plate, for example, by applying a primer (adhesive) to the peripheral portion of the glass plate, fixing the glass plate to a mold, and injecting molten resin into the cavity of the mold. This produces glass with a resin frame in which the resin frame is integrated with the peripheral portion of the glass plate. The applicant of the present application has disclosed such glass with a resin frame (product name: MAW (registered trademark: Module Assy Window)) in Patent Document 1 and other documents.
[0004] On the other hand, Patent Document 2 discloses a vehicle windshield in which an information device mounting portion for mounting an information device is provided in a resin frame. Patent Document 2 also discloses a configuration in which a connector wire electrically connected to the information device is integrally molded with the resin frame. [0005] [Patent Document 1] JP 2008-270021 A [Patent Document 2] International Publication No. 2017 / 188414 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0006] Incidentally, electrical components such as information devices provided on a vehicle window glass with a resin frame are connected to, for example, a power supply unit of the vehicle via an electrical connection part such as a connector wire. On the other hand, in one example of a vehicle window glass with a resin frame, an adhesive application area is provided on the vehicle interior side of the glass sheet, and the glass sheet is fixed to the vehicle side by the adhesive applied to this application area. In such a vehicle window glass with a resin frame, a configuration may be adopted in which a part of the electrical connection part is disposed in advance in the application area, and then the glass sheet is bonded to the vehicle interior side by the adhesive.
[0007] However, in the case of the above-mentioned configuration, there is a problem that the watertightness of the adhesive application area is reduced due to the electrical connection parts being disposed in the adhesive application area, and as a result, there is a problem that moisture that has infiltrated from the outer edge of the vehicle window plastic-framed glass into the interior of the vehicle passes through the above-mentioned watertightness-reduced portion and infiltrates (leaks) into the inner surface of the vehicle window plastic-framed glass.
[0008] As described above, the resin-framed vehicle window glass having the above-mentioned structure has a problem of water leakage, which results in a problem in terms of quality.
[0009] The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and has an object to provide a high-quality plastic-frame-attached glass for vehicle windows. [Means for solving the problem]
[0010] In order to achieve the object of the present invention, the vehicle window glass with a resin frame of the present invention comprises a glass plate and a resin frame provided on the peripheral portion of the glass plate, the resin frame being molded integrally with the glass plate, and when the vehicle window glass with a resin frame is attached to a vehicle, an adhesive is applied to the resin frame on the interior side of the vehicle for fixing it to the vehicle, and the vehicle window glass with a resin frame is provided with electrical components on the interior side of the vehicle, and when the side of the surface of the vehicle window glass with a resin frame from the area where the adhesive is applied is defined as a first section, and the side of the vehicle window glass with a resin frame from the area where the adhesive is applied is defined as a second section, the electrical components are arranged in the first section or the second section, and an electrical connection member is arranged in a section different from the section in which the electrical components are arranged, and the electrical components and the electrical connection member are electrically connected via a relay section that is interposed between the surface to which the adhesive is applied and the surface of the vehicle window glass with a resin frame facing the vehicle exterior, in a cross-sectional view of the vehicle window glass with a resin frame. Effect of the Invention
[0011] According to the present invention, a high-quality plastic-frame-attached glass for a vehicle window can be provided. [Brief description of the drawings]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0013] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, an embodiment of a plastic-frame-attached glass for a vehicle window according to the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0014] Fig. 1 is a plan view of a resin-framed glass 10 for a vehicle window according to a first embodiment (hereinafter, abbreviated as "resin-framed glass 10"). Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along line 2-2 of the resin-framed glass 10 shown in Fig. 1.
[0015] [Vehicle window glass with plastic frame] The resin-framed glass 10 shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 is a fixed window of an automobile, and is used as a rear quarter glass of an automobile, for example. This resin-framed glass 10 includes a glass sheet 12 and a resin frame 14 provided on the periphery of the glass sheet 12. This resin frame 14 is molded integrally with the glass sheet 12. A surface (vehicle exterior surface) 14A of the resin frame 14 is the surface that faces the vehicle exterior when the resin-framed glass 10 is fixed to a vehicle window opening (not shown), and functions as a design surface of the resin-framed glass 10. Note that the resin-framed glass 10 is not limited to a rear quarter glass. It may be a front bench glass or a roof glass. It may also be a windshield or a rear glass.
[0016] <Glass plate> The glass plate 12 shown in FIG. 1 is formed in a substantially rectangular shape in a plan view. However, the shape of the glass plate 12 is not limited to a substantially rectangular shape, and may be a substantially triangular shape, etc. The glass plate 12 may be inorganic glass or organic glass. As the inorganic glass, for example, soda-lime glass, aluminosilicate glass, borosilicate glass, alkali-free glass, quartz glass, etc. are used without any particular limitation. Among these, soda-lime glass is particularly preferable from the viewpoint of manufacturing cost and formability. The forming method of the glass plate 12 is not particularly limited, but for example, in the case of inorganic glass, a glass plate formed by a float method or the like is preferable.
[0017] When the glass plate 12 is made of inorganic glass, the glass plate 12 may be either untempered glass or tempered glass. Untempered glass is made by forming molten glass into a plate shape and slowly cooling it. Tempered glass is made by forming a compressive stress layer on the surface of untempered glass, and may be either air-cooled tempered glass or chemically tempered glass.
[0018] When the tempered glass is physically tempered glass (for example, air-cooled tempered glass), the glass surface may be strengthened by generating a compressive stress layer on the glass surface due to the temperature difference between the glass surface and the inside of the glass by an operation other than slow cooling, such as rapidly cooling a glass sheet uniformly heated in bending from a temperature near the softening point. On the other hand, when the tempered glass is chemically tempered glass, the glass surface may be strengthened by generating a compressive stress on the glass surface by an ion exchange method or the like after bending. In addition, glass that absorbs ultraviolet or infrared rays may be used. Furthermore, it is preferable that the glass sheet is transparent, but it may be colored to the extent that the transparency is not impaired.
[0019] The glass sheet 12 may have a single curved shape obtained by bending in only one direction, or may have a complex curved shape obtained by bending in two directions (for example, a predetermined direction and a direction perpendicular to the predetermined direction). Gravity forming, press forming, roller forming, or the like is used for bending the glass sheet 12. When the glass sheet 12 is bent to a predetermined curvature, the radius of curvature of the glass sheet 12 may be 1,000 to 100,000 mm.
[0020] The glass plate 12 may be a single glass plate, or may be, for example, laminated glass in which two or more glass plates are bonded together via an interlayer film. As the interlayer film of the laminated glass, for example, a known thermoplastic resin film such as polyvinyl butyral (PVB) or ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) is used. The interlayer film of the laminated glass may be transparent or may be a colored interlayer film. The interlayer film may be two or more layers.
[0021] When the glass plate 12 is a laminated glass, the thickness of the glass located on the outside and the thickness of the glass located on the inside when the glass plate 12 is attached to a vehicle may be the same or different. When the glass plate 12 is attached to a vehicle, the thickness of the glass located on the outside is preferably 1.0 mm or more and 3.0 mm or less. When the thickness of the glass plate located on the outside is 1.0 mm or more, the strength such as flying stone resistance performance is sufficient, and when it is 3.0 mm or less, the mass of the laminated glass does not become too large, which is preferable in terms of fuel efficiency of the vehicle. The thickness of the glass plate located on the inside is preferably 0.3 mm or more and 2.3 mm or less. When the thickness of the glass plate located on the inside of the vehicle is 0.3 mm or more, the handling property is good, and when it is 2.3 mm or less, the mass does not become too large. If the thickness of the glass located on the outside and the thickness of the glass located on the inside are each 1.8 mm or less, it is preferable that the weight reduction and sound insulation of the glass plate 12 can be achieved at the same time. In addition, when the thickness of the glass located on the inside is 1.0 mm or less, the glass located on the inside may be chemically strengthened glass. When the glass located on the inside is chemically strengthened glass, it is preferable that the compressive stress value of the glass surface is 300 MPa or more, and the depth of the compressive stress layer is 2 μm or more.
[0022] When the glass plate 12 is a single glass plate, the glass plate 12 is preferably air-cooled and tempered glass, and in this case, the thickness of the glass plate 12 is preferably 1.8 mm or more and 5.0 mm or less.
[0023] Furthermore, when the glass plate 12 is made of organic glass, examples of the material for the organic glass include transparent resins such as polycarbonate and acrylic resins (for example, polymethyl methacrylate).
[0024] <Resin frame> As an example, the resin frame 14 is provided so as to surround the entire periphery of the glass plate 12. Examples of materials for the resin frame 14 include synthetic resins such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). The resin frame 14 is provided on the glass plate 12 by mounting the glass plate 12 in a mold having a cavity corresponding to the shape of the resin frame 14 and injecting the above-mentioned synthetic resin (molten synthetic resin) into the cavity.
[0025] 2, the resin frame 14 in this example is a so-called three-sided molding having three inner surfaces 14B, 14C, and 14D in contact with the vehicle exterior side surface 12A, the vehicle interior side surface 12B, and the end surface 12C of the glass plate 12. The resin frame 14 may also be a so-called two-sided molding having two inner surfaces in contact with the vehicle interior side surface 12B and the end surface 12C of the glass plate 12.
[0026] When the resin-framed glass 10 of the first embodiment is mounted on a vehicle 16 shown by a two-dot chain line in Fig. 2, an adhesive 18 is applied to the resin frame 14 for fixing the resin-framed glass 10 to the interior side of the vehicle 16. The resin-framed glass 10 of the first embodiment is also provided with electrical components 20 on the interior side of the vehicle 16. Note that, for ease of explanation, the adhesive 18 is shown enlarged in Fig. 2 and its cross-sectional shape is shown as a triangle, but the size and shape of the adhesive 18 are not limited to this.
[0027] In the resin-framed glass 10 of the first embodiment, an application area 22 of the adhesive 18 is set on the vehicle interior side surface 14E opposite to the inner surface 14C of the resin frame 14. If the surface inner side of the resin-framed glass 10 from the application area 22 (the side of the center of gravity of the glass sheet 12) is defined as a first section 24, and the edge side of the resin-framed glass 10 from the application area 22 is defined as a second section 26, the electrical component 20 is disposed on the vehicle interior side surface 14F of the resin frame 14 located in the second section 26. Then, the electrical connection member 28 is disposed in the first section 24 different from the second section 26 in which the electrical component 20 is disposed. The electrical component 20 is fixed to the vehicle interior side surface 14F of the resin frame 14 via a bracket 30 that is integral with the electrical component 20 or is assembled to the electrical component 20.
[0028] As an example, a distance sensor that detects the distance to an object located on the side of the vehicle is used as the electrical component 20. As an example, a linear member having a conductor and an insulating tube that covers the conductor is used as the electrical connection member 28. As shown in Fig. 2, the electrical component 20 and the electrical connection member 28 are electrically connected to each other via a relay portion 32 that is interposed between the vehicle interior side surface 14E of the resin frame 14 to which the adhesive 18 is applied and the surface 14A (vehicle exterior side surface) of the resin frame 14 in a cross-sectional view of the resin-framed glass 10.
[0029] To explain the relay portion 32 in detail, the relay portion 32 of the resin-framed glass 10 of the first embodiment employs a through hole 34 formed in the resin frame 14. This through hole 34 is a through hole that communicates between the first section 24 and the second section 26. An electrical connection member 28 is inserted into the through hole 34 serving as the relay portion 32, and of openings 34A and 34B at both ends of the through hole 34, the opening 34A that opens to the second section 26 side is sealed with a sealing member 36. As an example of the sealing member 36, a silicone sealant is exemplified, but the sealing member 36 is not limited thereto.
[0030] Here, a comparative example to be compared with the resin-framed glass 10 of the first embodiment will be briefly described. For example, in the comparative resin-framed glass in which a part of an electrical connection member is disposed in the adhesive application area, i.e., in which the adhesive is applied so as to straddle a part of the electrical connection member, there is a problem that a gap occurs between the adhesive and the electrical connection member in the adhesive application area, reducing watertightness, and thus there is a problem that moisture penetrates into the inner surface of the resin-framed glass. Note that the above-mentioned application area in the comparative example may be set on the glass plate side or on the resin frame side.
[0031] In contrast, according to the first embodiment of the glass 10 with a resin frame, even if moisture penetrates from the outer edge of the glass 10 with a resin frame, the adhesive 18 used to fix the glass 10 with a resin frame to the vehicle 16 prevents the moisture from penetrating into the inner surface of the glass 10 with a resin frame.
[0032] That is, in the resin-framed glass 10 of the first embodiment, the electrical component 20 arranged in the second section 26 and the electrical connection member 28 arranged in the first section 24 are electrically connected via a through hole 34 serving as a relay portion 32 interposed between the interior side surface 14E to which the adhesive 18 is applied and the front surface 14A, and the through hole 34 is sealed with a sealing member 36. In other words, the resin-framed glass 10 is configured not to reduce the watertightness of the application region 22. This makes it possible to prevent the moisture from penetrating into the inner surface of the resin-framed glass 10 (water leakage), thereby making it possible to provide a high-quality resin-framed glass 10.
[0033] The sealing member 36 may seal the through hole 34 by sealing the opening 34B instead of the opening 34A, or may seal both the openings 34A and 34B. That is, it is sufficient to seal at least one of the openings 34A and 34B. The through hole 34 may be formed by drilling after the production of the resin-framed glass 10, or may be formed during the production of the resin-framed glass 10 by setting (placing) a hollow pipe material for defining the through hole 34 in a mold for injecting the resin frame.
[0034] Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view of a resin-framed glass 40 according to the second embodiment. In describing the resin-framed glass 40, the same or similar members as those in the resin-framed glass 10 shown in Figs. 1 and 2 are designated by the same reference numerals and descriptions thereof will be omitted.
[0035] In the resin-framed glass 40 shown in Fig. 3, a portion 28A of the electrical connection member 28 is integrally molded with the resin frame 14. The portion 28A (site) of the electrical connection member 28 integrally molded with the resin frame 14 is used as the relay portion 32. That is, the resin-framed glass 40 of the second embodiment is an integrally molded product of the glass plate 12, the portion 28A of the electrical connection portion 28, and the resin frame 14, so that the resin frame 14 and the portion 28A of the electrical connection portion 28 are in close contact with each other. Note that a primer may be applied to the surface of the portion 28A of the electrical connection portion 28 to further increase the contact between the resin frame 14 and the portion 28A of the electrical connection portion 28.
[0036] According to the second embodiment of the resin-framed glass 40, even if moisture penetrates from the outer edge of the resin-framed glass 40, the adhesive 18 used to fix the resin-framed glass 40 to the vehicle 16 prevents the moisture from penetrating into the inner surface of the resin-framed glass 10.
[0037] That is, in the resin-framed glass 40 of the second embodiment, the electrical component 20 arranged in the second section 26 and the electrical connection member 28 arranged in the first section 24 are electrically connected via a part 28A (of the electrical connection member 28) serving as a relay portion 32 interposed between the interior side surface 14E, to which the adhesive 18 is applied, and the front surface 14A. In other words, the resin frame 14 and the part 28A of the electrical connection portion 28 are in close contact with each other, so that the watertightness of the application region 22 is not reduced. This makes it possible to prevent the moisture from penetrating into the inner surface of the resin-framed glass 40 (water leakage), and therefore makes it possible to provide a high-quality resin-framed glass 40.
[0038] In producing the resin-framed glass 40 of the second embodiment, it is preferable to support the portion 28A of the electrical connection member 28 in a mold using a pair of auxiliary members 42, 42 shown in Fig. 4. This allows the portion 28A to be molded integrally with the resin frame 14.
[0039] In the resin-framed glass 40 of the second embodiment, at least a portion of the auxiliary members 42, 42 is exposed from the surface of the resin frame 14. More specifically, the auxiliary member 42 is formed by bending a single linear member to have an arc portion 42A supporting the portion 28A and a pair of legs 42B, 42B placed on the mold, and a bottom portion 42C of the leg portion 42B in contact with the mold is exposed to the outside from the vehicle interior side surface 14E of the resin frame 14. In other words, the resin-framed glass 40 of the second embodiment is an integrally molded product of the glass sheet 12, the portion 28A of the electrical connection portion 28, the auxiliary members 42A, 42B, and the resin frame 14. Furthermore, since the resin-framed glass 40 of the second embodiment is provided with auxiliary members 42, 42, when the glass plate 12, the portion 28A of the electrical connection portion 28, and the resin frame 14 are integrally formed by injection molding, it is possible to prevent the portion 28A of the electrical connection portion 28 from moving from the desired location due to the injected molten resin.
[0040] 5 is a cross-sectional view of a resin-framed glass 50 according to a third embodiment. In describing the resin-framed glass 50, the same or similar members as those in the resin-framed glass 10 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 are designated by the same reference numerals and descriptions thereof will be omitted.
[0041] A resin-framed glass 50 according to a third embodiment shown in FIG. 5 is an example in which a connector member 52, which is a plate-shaped member, is used as a part of the electrical connection member 28. An example of the connector member 52 is a flat harness with a connector. When such a connector member 52 is used, the relay section 32 is formed of the connector member 52 inserted into the resin frame 14, and one end of the connector member 52 is electrically connected to the electrical component 20 via the electrical connection member 28, and the other end is electrically connected to the electrical connection member 28. That is, the resin-framed glass 40 according to the third embodiment is an integrally molded product of the glass plate 12, the connector member 52, and the resin frame 14, and therefore the resin frame 14 and the connector member 52 are in close contact with each other. In order to further increase the contact between the resin frame 14 and the connector member 52, a primer may be applied to the surface of the connector member 52.
[0042] In the resin-framed glass 50 shown in Figure 5, when the connector member 52 is inserted into the through hole 34 formed in the resin frame 14 as shown in Figure 2, at least one (opening 34A) of the openings 34A, 34B at both ends of the through hole 34 is sealed by the sealing member 36.
[0043] According to the third embodiment of the resin-framed glass 50, even if moisture penetrates from the outer edge of the resin-framed glass 40, the adhesive 18 prevents the moisture from penetrating into the inner surface of the resin-framed glass 10.
[0044] That is, in the resin-framed glass 50 of the third embodiment, the electrical component 20 arranged in the second section 26 and the electrical connection member 28 arranged in the first section 24 are electrically connected via the connector member 52 serving as the relay portion 32 interposed between the interior side surface 14E to which the adhesive 18 is applied and the front surface 14A. In other words, since the resin frame 14 and the connector member 52 are in close contact with each other, the watertightness of the application region 22 is not reduced. This makes it possible to prevent the moisture from penetrating into the inner surface of the resin-framed glass 50 (water leakage), and therefore makes it possible to provide a high-quality resin-framed glass 50.
[0045] Next, a resin-framed glass (not shown) of the fourth embodiment will be described. This resin-framed glass has a configuration in which the connector member 52 shown in Fig. 5 is integrally molded with the resin frame 14, like the part 28A of the electrical connection member 28 shown in Fig. 3. Even with this type of resin-framed glass, as with the resin-framed glass 10, 40, and 50 of the first to third embodiments, the adhesive 18 can prevent moisture from penetrating into the inner surface of the resin-framed glass 10, so that a high-quality resin-framed glass 50 can be provided.
[0046] Also, in the resin-framed glass 10 of the fourth embodiment, it is preferable to support the connector member 52 in the mold by using the auxiliary member 42 as shown in Fig. 4. This allows the connector member 52 to be molded integrally with the resin frame 14. In this case, the bottom 42C of the leg portion 42B of the auxiliary member 42 that contacts the mold is exposed to the outside from the interior side surface 14E of the resin frame 14. In other words, the resin-framed glass 40 of the fourth embodiment is an integrally molded product of the glass sheet 12, the connector member 52, the auxiliary member 42, and the resin frame 14.
[0047] Next, some modified examples of the resin-frame-attached glass according to the present invention will be described.
[0048] A resin-framed glass 60 shown in Fig. 6 uses a flat harness 62 (see Fig. 6) as the electrical connection member 28 connected to one end of the connector member 52 shown in Fig. 5. A bus bar 64 connected to a lead wire (not shown) of the flat harness 62 is attached to the interior side surface 12B of the resin-framed glass 10, and the bus bar 64 and the lead wire are connected by solder 66. In the resin-framed glass 10 shown in Fig. 6, the bus bar 64 is arranged in the first section 24, and the bus bar 64 is connected to the electrical component 20 arranged in the second section 26 via the flat harness 62, the connector member 52, and the electrical connection member 28.
[0049] Even with the resin-framed glass 60 having such a configuration, the adhesive 18 can prevent moisture from penetrating into the inner surface of the resin-framed glass 10, so that a high-quality resin-framed glass 60 can be provided.
[0050] 7 has a configuration in which the electrical component 20 is disposed in the first section 24, and the electrical connection member 28 is disposed in the second section 26. More specifically, the electrical component 20 is attached to the interior side surface 12B of the glass sheet 12, and one end of the electrical connection member 28 is connected to the electrical component 20 via the through-hole 34 of the resin frame 14, and the other end is connected to a power supply unit of the vehicle 16, for example.
[0051] Even with a resin-framed glass 70 having this configuration, it is possible to provide a high-quality resin-framed glass 70 because the adhesive 18 can prevent moisture from penetrating into the inner surface of the resin-framed glass 70. The electrical connection member 28 is inserted into a cylindrical waterproof packing 72 attached to an opening in the vehicle 16, and is connected to the above-mentioned power supply.
[0052] [Method of manufacturing glass with resin frame] Next, an example of a method for manufacturing a resin-framed glass of the fourth embodiment will be described with reference to a mold 80 shown in Fig. 8. Note that Fig. 8 shows a view in which molten resin 84 that will become the resin frame 14 has already been injected into a cavity 82 of the mold 80, but the following description will start from a state before the molten resin 84 is injected into the cavity 82.
[0053] The manufacturing method described below mainly comprises a connector member mounting step, a glass plate mounting step, and a resin frame molding step.
[0054] First, in the connector member mounting step, the connector member 52 is set (placed) on the concave surface 88 of the lower die 86 constituting the die 80 by utilizing the auxiliary members 42, 42, as shown in FIG.
[0055] 8, in the glass plate mounting process, peripheral portion 12D of glass plate 12 is mounted at a predetermined position in lower die 86. After that, upper die 90 of mold 80 is fixed to lower die 86. As a result, cavity 82 is formed between lower die 86 and upper die 90, and connector member 52 and peripheral portion 12D of glass plate 12 are housed in cavity 82.
[0056] Next, in the resin frame molding step, for example, molten resin 84 is injected into cavity 82 from a resin injection port 92 provided in lower die 86. As a result, molten resin 84 fills cavity 82 and is packed therein. Thereafter, when molten resin 84 has solidified, lower die 86 and upper die 90 are separated from each other. In this way, the resin frame-attached glass of the fourth embodiment is manufactured. Note that resin injection port 92 may be provided in upper die 90.
[0057] An example of a plastic frame-attached glass for a vehicle window according to the present invention has been described above.
