Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a vehicle glazing. [Background technology]
[0002] Some vehicle window glasses are equipped with functional members that have a heating function to remove ice and fog (water droplets) from the glass, a light control function to arbitrarily control the transparent state and the colored state, a display function to display driving information, etc. Each of these functional members has a power supply unit and operates by receiving power from a power source unit via the power supply unit.
[0003] Here, the above-mentioned heating function is known to include a wiper deicer function that defrosts the stop position of the wiper blade and a full surface heating function that defrosts the visible area.
[0004] Patent Document 1 discloses a window glass as a vehicle window glass equipped with the above-mentioned full surface heating function.
[0005] The window glass of Patent Document 1 has a glass plate on which a heat wire print is formed as a connection part, a conductor provided on the glass plate and electrically connected to the heat wire print, and a lead wire electrically connected to the heat wire print and to the conductor via the heat wire print. The heat wire print and the lead wire are electrically connected by solder. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0006] [Patent Document 1] JP 2013-112122 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0007] Incidentally, the hot wire print as disclosed in Patent Document 1 is a foil-like print formed by screen printing, for example, silver paste on a glass plate, and its thickness is very thin (for example, 5 to 20 μm). When attempting to connect a lead wire to such a hot wire print by soldering (for example, lead-free solder (melting point: about 230 degrees)), the heat during soldering (for example, the temperature of a soldering iron: about 300 degrees) is locally transmitted to the glass plate via the hot wire print, which may cause cracks in the glass plate.
[0008] That is, in a vehicle window glass provided with a conventional functional member, the quality of the glass sheet may be degraded due to local heating of the glass caused by soldering.
[0009] The present invention has been made in consideration of the above circumstances, and aims to provide a high-quality vehicle window glass in which the effects of soldering on the glass are suppressed, even when the window glass is equipped with a functional component that requires power supply. [Means for solving the problem]
[0010] In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, according to one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a vehicle window glass comprising a laminated glass consisting of an exterior side glass and an interior side glass, and an intermediate film sandwiched between the exterior side glass and the interior side glass, wherein the interior side glass has a notch formed at the edge of its lower side so as to penetrate through the interior side glass in the plate thickness direction, a functional member including a power supply member is interposed between the exterior side glass and the interior side glass, a plate-shaped body is arranged in the notch, and the plate-shaped body electrically connects the power supply member to a lead wire arranged from outside the laminated glass. Effect of the Invention
[0011] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a high-quality vehicle window glass in which the influence of soldering on the glass is suppressed even when the window glass is provided with a functional member that requires power supply. [Brief description of the drawings]

[Figure 10] FIG. 10 is a plan view of the power supply unit shown in FIG. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0013] Hereinafter, some embodiments of the vehicle window glass according to the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0014] First Embodiment Fig. 1 is an enlarged perspective view of a main part of a vehicle window glass 10 according to a first embodiment of the present invention, and in particular is an enlarged perspective view of a power supply unit 12 of the vehicle window glass 10 having a full surface heating function. Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the power supply unit 12 shown in Fig. 1.
[0015] As shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the vehicle window glass 10 includes a laminated glass 14, plate-like bodies (hereinafter referred to as relay boards) 16, 18, bus bars 20, 22, and lead wires 24, 26. As shown by the two-dot chain line in Fig. 1, the vehicle window glass 10 includes a plurality of heating wires 27, one end of which is electrically connected to the bus bar 20, and the other end is electrically connected to the bus bar 22. According to the vehicle window glass 10 configured in this manner, the laminated glass 14 can be heated over a wide range by supplying power to the anode bus bar, for example, the bus bar 20, to heat the heating wire 27. The heating wire 27 is an example of a functional member, and can be, for example, a wavy tungsten wire. The heating wire 27 includes the bus bars 20, 22. The relay boards 16, 18 and the bus bars 20, 22 are one of the components that configure the power supply unit 12.
[0016] The laminated glass 14 is made up of an outer glass 28 located on the vehicle exterior side, an inner glass 30 located on the vehicle interior side, and a resin film 32 sandwiched between the outer glass 28 and the inner glass 30. The bus bars 20, 22 and the heating wire 27 are disposed between the outer glass 28 and the inner glass 30.
[0017] The material constituting the outer glass 28 and the inner glass 30 may be inorganic glass or organic glass. Examples of inorganic glass that can be used include, without particular limitation, soda-lime glass, aluminosilicate glass, borosilicate glass, alkali-free glass, and quartz glass. The outer glass 28 located on the vehicle exterior is preferably inorganic glass from the viewpoint of scratch resistance, and is preferably soda-lime glass from the viewpoint of formability. When the outer glass 28 and the inner glass 30 are soda-lime glass, clear glass, green glass containing a predetermined amount or more of iron components, and UV-cut green glass can be suitably used.
[0018] The inorganic glass may be either unstrengthened glass or tempered glass. Unstrengthened glass is obtained by forming molten glass into a plate shape and slowly cooling it. Tempered glass is obtained by forming a compressive stress layer on the surface of unstrengthened glass.
[0019] The tempered glass may be either physically tempered glass such as air-cooled tempered glass or chemically tempered glass. In the case of physically tempered glass, the glass surface can be tempered by generating a compressive stress layer on the glass surface due to the temperature difference between the glass surface and the inside of the glass by an operation other than slow cooling, such as rapidly cooling a glass sheet uniformly heated in bending from a temperature near the softening point.
[0020] In the case of chemically strengthened glass, for example, after bending, the glass surface can be strengthened by generating a compressive stress on the glass surface by an ion exchange method or the like. Glass that absorbs ultraviolet or infrared rays may be used, and further, although it is preferable that the glass is transparent, a glass plate that is colored to the extent that the transparency is not impaired may be used.
[0021] On the other hand, examples of materials for organic glass include transparent resins such as polycarbonate, acrylic resins such as polymethyl methacrylate, polyvinyl chloride, and polystyrene.
[0022] The shapes of the outer glass 28 and the inner glass 30 are not particularly limited to a rectangular shape, and may be processed into various shapes and curvatures. Gravity forming, press forming, roller forming, etc. are used for bending the outer glass 28 and the inner glass 30. There are also no particular limitations on the forming method of the outer glass 28 and the inner glass 30, but for example, in the case of inorganic glass, glass sheets formed by a float method or the like are preferable.
[0023] The thickness of the outer glass 28 is preferably 1.1 mm or more and 5 mm or less. When the thickness of the outer glass 28 is 1.1 mm or more, the strength such as resistance to flying stones is sufficient, and when the thickness is 5.0 mm or less, the mass of the laminated glass 14 is not too large, which is preferable in terms of fuel efficiency of the vehicle. The thickness of the outer glass 28 is more preferably 1.5 mm or more and 3.5 mm or less, and further preferably 1.8 mm or more and 2.6 mm or less.
[0024] The thickness of the inner glass 30 is preferably 0.3 mm or more and 2.3 mm or less. When the thickness of the inner glass 30 is 0.3 mm or more, the handling property is good, and when the thickness is 2.3 mm or less, the weight does not become too large.
[0025] When the laminated glass 14 is used in, for example, a head-up display, the outer glass 28 and the inner glass 30 do not have a constant thickness, and the thickness may vary from place to place as necessary. For example, when the laminated glass 14 is a windshield, either one or both of the outer glass 28 and the inner glass 30 may have a wedge-shaped cross section whose thickness increases from the lower edge to the upper edge of the windshield when the windshield is attached to a vehicle. In this case, as long as the thickness of the resin film 32 is constant, the total wedge angle of the outer glass 28 and the inner glass 30 may vary, for example, in the range of more than 0 mrad to 1.0 mrad or less.
[0026] When the outer glass 28 and the inner glass 30 are curved inorganic glass, the outer glass 28 and the inner glass 30 are bent after being formed by the float method and before being bonded with the resin film 32. The bending is performed by heating the glass to soften it. The heating temperature of the glass during bending is about 550°C to 700°C. When the outer glass 28 and the inner glass 30 are curved inorganic glass, the radius of curvature of the outer glass 28 and the inner glass 30 may be 1000 to 100000 mm. The outer glass 28 and the inner glass 30 may be a single curved shape bent in only one direction, for example, up and down or left and right, or a compound curved shape bent in both up and down and left and right directions. The radius of curvature of the outer glass 28 and the inner glass 30 may be the same or different.
[0027] Thermoplastic resins are often used as the resin film 32, and examples of such thermoplastic resins include those conventionally used for this type of application, such as plasticized polyvinyl acetal resins, plasticized polyvinyl chloride resins, saturated polyester resins, plasticized saturated polyester resins, polyurethane resins, plasticized polyurethane resins, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resins, ethylene-ethyl acrylate copolymer resins, cycloolefin polymer resins, ionomer resins, etc. Also suitable for use is a resin composition containing a modified hydrogenated block copolymer described in Japanese Patent No. 6065221.
[0028] Among these, plasticized polyvinyl acetal resins are preferably used because they have an excellent balance of various properties such as transparency, weather resistance, strength, adhesive strength, penetration resistance, impact energy absorption, moisture resistance, heat insulation, and sound insulation. These thermoplastic resins may be used alone or in combination of two or more thermoplastic resins. The term "plasticized" in the plasticized polyvinyl acetal resin means that the resin is plasticized by adding a plasticizer. The same applies to other plasticized resins.
[0029] Examples of the polyvinyl acetal resin include polyvinyl formal resin obtained by reacting polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) with formaldehyde, polyvinyl acetal resin in the narrow sense obtained by reacting PVA with acetaldehyde, and polyvinyl butyral resin (PVB) obtained by reacting PVA with n-butylaldehyde, and the like. In particular, PVB is preferred because it has an excellent balance of various properties such as transparency, weather resistance, strength, adhesive strength, penetration resistance, impact energy absorption, moisture resistance, heat insulation, and sound insulation. These polyvinyl acetal resins may be used alone, or two or more types of polyvinyl acetal resins may be used in combination.
[0030] However, the material forming the resin film 32 is not limited to thermoplastic resin. The resin film 32 may contain functional particles such as infrared absorbing agents, ultraviolet absorbing agents, and luminescent agents. The resin film 32 may have a colored portion called a shade band. The color pigment used to form the colored portion is not particularly limited as long as it can be used for plastics and the colored portion has a visible light transmittance of 40% or less. For example, organic color pigments such as azo-based, phthalocyanine-based, quinacridone-based, perylene-based, perinone-based, dioxazine-based, anthraquinone-based, and isoindolino-based pigments, and inorganic color pigments such as oxides, hydroxides, sulfides, chromates, sulfates, carbonates, silicates, phosphates, arsenates, ferrocyanides, carbon, and metal powders may be used. These color pigments may be used alone, or two or more types of color pigments may be used in combination. The amount of color pigment added is not particularly limited and may be any amount according to the desired color tone, so long as the visible light transmittance of the colored portion is 40% or less.
[0031] The thickness of the resin film 32 is preferably 0.5 mm or more. When the thickness of the thinnest part of the resin film 32 is 0.5 mm or more, the impact resistance required for laminated glass is sufficient. Furthermore, the thickness of the resin film 32 is preferably 3 mm or less. When the thickness of the resin film 32 is 3 mm or less, the mass of the laminated glass 14 does not become too large. The maximum thickness of the resin film 32 is more preferably 2.8 mm or less, and even more preferably 2.6 mm or less.
[0032] When the laminated glass 14 is used in, for example, a head-up display, the resin film 32 does not have to have a constant thickness, and the thickness may vary from place to place as necessary. For example, when the laminated glass 14 is a windshield, the resin film 32 may have a wedge-shaped cross section whose thickness increases from the lower edge to the upper edge of the windshield when the windshield is attached to a vehicle. In this case, if the sheet thicknesses of the outer glass 28 and the inner glass 30 are constant, the wedge angle of the resin film 32 varies, for example, in the range of more than 0 mrad to 1.0 mrad or less.
[0033] The resin film 32 may have three or more layers. For example, the sound insulation of the laminated glass 14 can be improved by forming the interlayer from three or more layers and making the shear modulus of any layer other than the layers on both sides smaller than the shear modulus of the layers on both sides by adjusting the plasticizer or the like. In this case, the shear modulus of the layers on both sides may be the same or different.
[0034] The total thickness of the laminated glass 14 is preferably 2.8 mm or more and 10 mm or less. If the total thickness of the laminated glass 14 is 2.8 mm or more, sufficient rigidity can be ensured. If the total thickness of the laminated glass 14 is 10 mm or less, sufficient transmittance can be obtained and haze can be reduced.
[0035] To manufacture the laminated glass 14, a laminate is formed by sandwiching the resin film 32 between the outer glass 28 and the inner glass 30. Then, for example, this laminate is placed in a rubber bag, a rubber chamber, a resin bag, or the like, and bonded at a temperature of about 70 to 110° C. in a vacuum of −65 to −100 kPa.
[0036] Furthermore, by carrying out a pressure bonding process in which heating and pressing are performed under conditions of, for example, a temperature of 100 to 150°C and a pressure of 0.6 to 1.3 MPa, a laminated glass 14 with better durability can be obtained. However, in some cases, this heating and pressing process may not be used in consideration of simplification of the process and the characteristics of the material to be filled in the laminated glass 14. In other words, a method called "cold bending" may be used in which either one or both of the glass sheets of the outer glass 28 and the inner glass 30 are bonded to each other in an elastically deformed state. Cold bending can be achieved by using a laminate consisting of the outer glass 28, the inner glass 30, and the resin film 32 fixed by a temporary fixing means such as tape, a conventionally known preliminary pressure bonding device such as a nip roller, a rubber bag, or a rubber chamber, and an autoclave.
[0037] As shown in Fig. 1, a part of the edge part (hereinafter referred to as the lower edge) 14A of the lower side of the laminated glass 14 has a notch part 14B where the inner glass 30 is offset with respect to the outer glass 28. This notch part 14B is formed by forming the lower edge 28A of the outer glass 28 in a straight line and cutting out a part of the lower edge 30A of the inner glass 30 in an arc shape so as to penetrate in the plate thickness direction. Similarly, the resin film 32 is also cut out in an arc shape along the contour of the notch part 14B. Note that the shape of the cutout part of the lower edge 30A forming the notch part 14B is not limited to an arc shape and may be, for example, a rectangular shape.
[0038] The relay boards 16, 18 are formed in a rectangular shape, for example, and are attached to the surface of the exterior glass 28 on the vehicle interior side at the cutout portion 14B with a double-sided adhesive tape 34. The relay boards 16, 18 have a thickness of, for example, 1 mm or more. This allows the relay boards 16, 18 to disperse heat generated during soldering when connecting the bus bars 20, 22 using solder (including leaded solder and lead-free solder; the same applies below). The relay boards 16, 18 are an example of a plate-like conductive member, and a tin-plated copper plate can be exemplified. The relay board 16 is an example of a first plate-like member, and the relay board 18 is an example of a second plate-like member. The double-sided adhesive tape 34 is an example of an adhesive member.
[0039] 2, of the glass surfaces on both sides of the outer glass 28, the glass surface located on the vehicle exterior side is referred to as the first surface 15A, and the glass surface located on the vehicle interior side is referred to as the second surface 15B. Of the glass surfaces on both sides of the inner glass 30, the glass surface located on the vehicle exterior side is referred to as the third surface 15C, and the glass surface located on the vehicle interior side is referred to as the fourth surface 15D. In addition, the surfaces of the relay boards 16, 18 located on the vehicle exterior side are referred to as the first surfaces 16A, 18A, and the surfaces located on the vehicle interior side are referred to as the second surfaces 16B, 18B. In this case, the first surfaces 16A, 18A are attached to the second surface 15B with double-sided adhesive tape 34.
[0040] The bus bars 20 and 22 are disposed together with the heating wire 27 between the resin film 32 and the third surface 15C. One end 20A, 22A of the bus bars 20, 22 is extended toward the notch portion 14B and is electrically connected to the second surfaces 16B, 18B of the relay boards 16, 18 by the above-mentioned solder 23. The bus bars 20, 22 are an example of a power supply member, and an example of the bus bars 20, 22 is a ribbon-shaped member formed by solder-coating copper foil. The bus bar 20 is an example of a first power supply member, and the bus bar 22 is an example of a second power supply member.
[0041] The lead wires 24, 26 are disposed from the outside of the laminated glass 14, and one ends 24A, 26A are electrically connected to the second surfaces 16B, 18B of the relay boards 16, 18 by solder 25. This electrically connects the bus bars 20, 22 to the lead wires 24, 26 in the relay boards 16, 18. The other ends of the lead wires 24, 26 are connected to a power source such as a battery mounted on the vehicle.
[0042] According to the vehicle window glass 10 of the first embodiment configured as described above, the heating wire 27 having the bus bars 20, 22 is interposed between the outer glass 28 and the inner glass 30, the relay boards 16, 18 are arranged in the cutout portion 14B, and the bus bars 20, 22 and the lead wires 24, 26 are electrically connected to the relay boards 16, 18 by the solders 23, 25, respectively. As a result, the heat generated when soldering the solders 23, 25 is dispersed by the relay boards 16, 18 and is less likely to be transmitted to the outer glass 28, so that the heat generated when soldering the solders 23, 25 is not locally applied to the outer glass 28, and damage to the outer glass 28 can be prevented. Therefore, according to the first embodiment, even if a functional member that requires power supply is provided, a high-quality vehicle window glass 10 can be provided in which the influence of soldering on the glass is suppressed.
[0043] The soldering operation of the lead wires 24, 26 to the relay boards 16, 18 may be performed with the relay boards 16, 18 attached to the outer glass 28, but the soldering operation may be performed in advance and then the relay boards 16, 18 to which the lead wires 24, 26 are connected may be attached to the outer glass 28. This prevents the heat of the solder 25 from being transmitted to the double-sided adhesive tape 34 and the outer glass 28 via the relay boards 16, 18.
[0044] In the vehicle window glass 10 of the first embodiment, the relay boards 16, 18, the bus bars 20, 22, and the lead wires 24, 26 are connected by the solders 23, 25, but the present invention is not limited thereto, and the electrical connection may be made by any of a conductive adhesive, welding, and mechanical contact. The conductive adhesive is a resin material in which conductive fillers such as metal particles are dispersed in a binder resin such as epoxy or urethane, and the fillers form a conductive path after bonding. Examples of the conductive adhesive include conductive pastes such as silver paste and anisotropic conductive paste, and anisotropic conductive films. The welding is an electrical connection made by fusion welding, brazing, or pressure welding, and the mechanical contact is an electrical connection made by, for example, caulking.
[0045] On the other hand, as shown in the cross-sectional view of the power supply unit 12 in Fig. 3, the vehicle window glass 10 may be provided with a seal member 36, indicated by a two-dot chain line, along the lower edge 14A of the laminated glass 14. In this case, the lead wires 24, 26 need to be wired so as not to interfere with the seal member 36. In such a case, as shown in the plan view of the power supply unit 12 in Fig. 4, the lead wires 24, 26 are arranged in a direction away from the lower edge 14A, starting from one end 24A, 26A of each of them. This allows the lead wires 24, 26 to be arranged without interfering with the seal member 36.
[0046] 3, when the seal member 36 is provided, the thickness T1 of the relay boards 16, 18 in the vicinity of the lower edge 14A of the laminated glass 14 of the relay boards 16, 18 is preferably equal to the total thickness of the plate thickness T2 of the inner glass 30 and the thickness T3 of the resin film 32. In this case, the seal member 36 is preferably bonded to at least a part of the second surface 16B, 18B of the relay boards 16, 18 in the vicinity of the lower edge 14A of the laminated glass 14 of the relay boards 16, 18. This allows the seal member 36 to be bonded on the same surface as the fourth surface 15D of the inner glass 30 in the power supply unit 12. In this case, the seal member 36 is bonded to the relay boards 16, 18 using a double-sided adhesive tape 38, for example.
[0047] As shown in Fig. 3, power supply unit 12 is sealed by sealant 39 filled in cutout portion 14B. In this case, it is preferable to make the thickness of connection portions 16C, 18C of relay boards 16, 18 where bus bars 20, 22 and lead wires 24, 26 are connected thinner than the thickness of adhesion portions 16D, 18D where seal member 36 is adhered. This allows power supply unit 12 to be reliably sealed by sealant 39. In this case, thickness T1 of relay boards 16, 18 refers to the thickness of adhesion portions 16D, 18D.
[0048] <Second embodiment> Fig. 5 is an enlarged cross-sectional view of a main part showing the configuration of a power supply unit 42 of a vehicle window glass 40 according to a second embodiment of the present invention. Fig. 6 is a plan view of the power supply unit 42 shown in Fig. 5. In the following description of the vehicle window glass 40, the same or similar members as those of the vehicle window glass 10 shown in Figs. 1 to 4 are denoted by the same reference numerals, and description of these members will be omitted. The vehicle window glass 40 also includes a heating wire 27 as a functional member.
[0049] The vehicle window glass 40 differs from the vehicle window glass 10 in that a substrate 44 made of an insulating material is used instead of the relay substrates 16, 18 made of conductive materials. The substrate 44 has a thickness of, for example, 1 mm or more, and is attached to the outer glass 28 via a double-sided adhesive tape 34. Another difference is that electrodes 46, 48 made of a conductive material are provided on a surface 44A of the substrate 44 facing the vehicle interior, and the electrodes 46, 48 and one ends 20A, 22A of the bus bars 20, 22 are electrically connected by solder 23, and the electrodes 46, 48 and one ends 24A, 26A of the lead wires 24, 26 are electrically connected by solder 25.
[0050] Here, examples of the substrate 44 include a plate-shaped body made of an insulating resin material such as epoxy resin, or a plate-shaped body in which a layer of glass fiber cloth is impregnated with epoxy resin. Examples of the electrodes 46 and 48 include copper foil. This copper foil can be formed by screen printing copper paste on the surface 44A of the substrate 44. The electrode 46 is an example of a first electrode, and the electrode 48 is an example of a second electrode.
[0051] In the vehicle window glass 40 of the second embodiment configured in this manner, the heat generated when soldering the solders 23, 25 is dispersed by the substrate 44, or is not easily transmitted to the outer glass 28 due to the low thermal conductivity of the substrate 44. This prevents the heat generated when soldering the solders 23, 25 from being locally applied to the outer glass 28, thereby preventing damage to the outer glass 28. Therefore, according to the second embodiment, it is possible to provide a high-quality vehicle window glass 40 equipped with the heating wire 27, which is a functional member.
[0052] In the second embodiment of the vehicle window glass 40, an example has been shown in which the electrodes 46, 48 are connected to the bus bars 20, 22 and the lead wires 24, 26 by solder 23, 25, but this is not limited to this, and the electrical connection may be made by any of a conductive adhesive, welding, or mechanical contact, as in the first embodiment of the vehicle window glass 10.
[0053] In addition, in the vehicle window glass 40 of the second embodiment, when the seal member 36 shown in Fig. 3 is provided, it is preferable that the substrate 44 shown in Fig. 6 is configured similarly to the relay substrates 16, 18 shown in Fig. 3. That is, it is preferable that the substrate 44 is configured in a stepped shape having connection portions where the bus bars 20, 22 and the lead wires 24, 26 are connected, and an adhesion portion where the seal member 36 is adhered.
[0054] <Third embodiment> Fig. 7 is an enlarged cross-sectional view of a main part showing the configuration of a power supply unit 52 of a vehicle window glass 50 according to a third embodiment of the present invention. Fig. 8 is a plan view of the power supply unit 52 shown in Fig. 7. In the following description of the vehicle window glass 50, members that are the same as or similar to those in the vehicle window glass 10 shown in Figs. 1 to 4 are denoted by the same reference numerals, and descriptions of these members will be omitted.
[0055] When comparing the vehicle window glass 10 and the vehicle window glass 50, the vehicle window glass 10 has a full heating function, whereas the vehicle window glass 50 has a wiper deicer function. The specific difference in the configuration is that, instead of the functional member having the heating wire 27 and the bus bars 20, 22, a functional member having a conductive wire 54, a first terminal portion 54A electrically connected to one end of the conductive wire 54, and a second terminal portion 54B electrically connected to the other end is provided. The conductive wire 54 is formed on the second surface 15B of the outer glass 28. Another difference is that the first terminal portion 54A and the second terminal portion 54B are provided in the cutout portion 14B, the first terminal portion 54A is electrically connected to the first surface 16A of the relay board 16 by a conductive adhesive 56, and the second terminal portion 54B is electrically connected to the first surface 18A of the relay board 18 by a conductive adhesive 56.
[0056] In the vehicle window glass 50 of the third embodiment configured in this manner, the heat generated when soldering the solder 25 that connects the lead wires 24, 26 to the relay boards 16, 18 is dispersed by the relay boards 16, 18 and is not easily transmitted to the outer glass 28, so that the heat generated when soldering the solder 25 is not locally applied, thereby preventing damage to the outer glass 28. Therefore, according to the third embodiment, it is possible to provide a high-quality vehicle window glass 50 that is provided with the conductive wires 54 that are functional members.
[0057] In the third embodiment of the vehicle window glass 50, an example has been shown in which the first terminal portion 54A and the first surface 16A, and the second terminal portion 54B and the first surface 18A are each connected by a conductive adhesive 56, but this is not limited to this and the electrical connection may be made by either welding or mechanical contact.
[0058] <Fourth embodiment> Fig. 9 is an enlarged cross-sectional view of a main part showing the configuration of a power supply unit 62 of a vehicle window glass 60 according to a fourth embodiment of the present invention. Fig. 10 is a plan view of the power supply unit 62 shown in Fig. 9. In the following description of the vehicle window glass 60, the same or similar members as those of the vehicle window glass 50 shown in Figs. 7 and 8 are denoted by the same reference numerals, and description of these members will be omitted. The vehicle window glass 60 also includes conductive wires 54 as functional members.
[0059] The difference between the vehicle window glass 60 and the vehicle window glass 50 is that the vehicle window glass 60 uses substrates 64, 66, which are insulating members, instead of the relay substrates 16, 18, which are conductive members. The substrates 64, 66 have a thickness of, for example, 1 mm or more, and the surfaces on the vehicle exterior side are attached to the second surface 15B of the exterior glass 28 via the double-sided adhesive tape 34. Another difference is that the surface on the vehicle exterior side of the substrate 64, on which the double-sided adhesive tape 34 is not present, is provided with a first electrode 68 made of a conductive material, and the first terminal portion 54A is electrically connected to the first electrode 68 via the conductive adhesive 56, and that the surface on the vehicle exterior side of the substrate 66, on which the double-sided adhesive tape 34 is not present, is provided with a second electrode 70 made of a conductive material, and the second terminal portion 54B is electrically connected to the second electrode 70 via the conductive adhesive 56. The substrate 64 is an example of a first plate-like body, and the substrate 66 is an example of a second plate-like body.
[0060] An electrode 72 made of a conductive material is provided on the surface of the substrate 64 facing the vehicle interior, and this electrode 72 is electrically connected to the first electrode 68 via a conductor 76 that penetrates the substrate 64. One end 24A of a lead wire 24 is electrically connected to the electrode 72 by solder 25.
[0061] Similarly, an electrode 74 made of a conductive material is provided on the surface of the substrate 66 facing the vehicle interior, and this electrode 74 is electrically connected to the second electrode 70 via a conductor 78 that penetrates the substrate 66. One end 26A of a lead wire 26 is electrically connected to the electrode 74 by solder 25.
[0062] In the vehicle window glass 60 of the fourth embodiment configured in this manner, the heat generated when soldering the solder 25 that connects the lead wires 24, 26 to the electrodes 72, 74 is dispersed by the substrates 64, 66 and is not easily transmitted to the outer glass 28, so that the heat generated when soldering the solder 25 is not locally applied, thereby preventing damage to the outer glass 28. Therefore, according to the fourth embodiment, it is possible to provide a high-quality vehicle window glass 60 that is provided with the conductive wires 54 that are functional members.
[0063] In the fourth embodiment of the vehicle window glass 60, an example has been shown in which the first terminal portion 54A and the first electrode 68, and the second terminal portion 54B and the second electrode 70 are each connected by a conductive adhesive 56, but this is not limited to this, and the electrical connection may be made by either welding or mechanical contact.
[0064] In the above first to fourth embodiments, the heating wire 27 and the conductive stripes 54 are exemplified as functional members, but the present invention is not limited to these, and any functional member disposed between the outer glass 28 and the inner glass 30 may be, for example, a dimming member or a display.
[0065] Although the present invention has been described above, the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and some improvements or modifications may be made without departing from the gist of the present invention.
