Description

[Technical field]

[0001] This invention relates to a coffee bean roaster. In particular, the present invention relates to a coffee bean roaster having a structure that allows the coffee beans to be roasted uniformly and well. [Background technology]

[0002] Conventional coffee bean roasters include roasters that place coffee beans in a fixed glass tube (see Patent Document 1, JP-A-4-23976 and JP-A-57-25593).

[0003] However, the roasting machines described in these patent publications had the disadvantage that it was somewhat difficult to roast evenly because the roaster was a fixed container such as a glass tube that did not rotate. [Prior art documents] Patent technical literature: JP-A-4-23976 Practical technical literature: Published practical application: Showa-57-25593 Summary of the Invention

[0004] Problem to be solved by the invention

[0005] The present invention aims to solve the above-mentioned problems and to roast coffee beans uniformly and stably for a long period of time.

[0006] An inner frame 2 is provided on the outer frame, with the left side lower and the right side higher. Two circular shafts and rotating rolls are provided on each of the left and right sides of the center of this inner frame. On these four rotating rolls, a number of slightly large insertion holes are made in the center of the bottom wall of the cylindrical can, and a number of small holes are made at intervals around them. A lid with a circular opening with a smaller tip is placed on the top of the cylindrical can. A number of protrusions are inserted into the tip of the shaft in a number of relatively large insertion holes provided in the center of the bottom wall of the cylindrical can, a high temperature heater is provided on the outer frame at the lower left of the cylindrical can, a rotating roll is provided on the rear end of the shaft, and a belt is provided between this rotating roll and the rotating roll of the electric motor.

[0007] The first invention of the coffee bean roaster of this invention comprises an outer frame, an inner frame 2 with the left side lower and the right side higher, and two circular shafts and rotating rolls provided at two positions on the left, right and left sides of the center of the inner frame, and a cylindrical can is placed on top of the four rotating rolls, with a plurality of slightly large insertion holes provided in the center of the bottom wall and a number of small holes provided at intervals around the holes, and a lid having a circular opening with a smaller tip is placed on the top of the cylindrical can, and a lid having a circular opening with a smaller tip is placed on the bottom of the cylindrical can. This coffee bean roaster has several protrusions inserted into the tip of the shaft in several rather large insertion holes provided in the center of the wall, a high-temperature heater installed on the outer frame at the lower left of the cylindrical can, and a rotating roll installed at the rear end of the shaft with a belt installed between the rotating roll and the rotating roll of an electric motor. As a result, the coffee beans placed in the cylindrical can of the roaster are rotated well in an oblique direction as the cylindrical can rotates, allowing the coffee beans to be roasted almost uniformly and well. Furthermore, when putting coffee beans into the cylindrical can, the lid can be turned upside down to make it wider, so that the beans can be put into the cylindrical can through the wide opening, and after roasting, the coffee beans can be easily taken out of the cylindrical can by removing the lid, and thereafter, the cylindrical can and the lid can be easily stored in the designated position because the lid can be turned upside down to make it smaller and fit into the large hole of the cylindrical can.

[0008] The invention of claim 2 of the coffee bean roaster of this invention has a horizontal inner frame set into a rectangular outer frame, and circular shafts and rotating rolls are provided in two places on the left and right sides of the center of this inner frame, and a cylindrical can is placed on top of these four rotating rolls, with several slightly large insertion holes provided in the center of the bottom wall and several small holes provided at intervals around them, and a lid with a circular opening that is wider at the right side and narrower at the tip is placed on the right side of the cylindrical can. The tip of the shaft is fitted with several protrusions which are inserted into several rather large insertion holes provided in the centre of the bottom wall of the cylindrical can, a high temperature heater is provided on the outer frame at the lower left of the cylindrical can, and a rotating roll is provided at the rear end of the shaft. A belt is provided between this rotating roll and the rotating roll of an electric motor in this coffee bean roasting machine, so that the coffee beans placed in the cylindrical can of the roaster are rotated well in the circumferential direction as the cylindrical can rotates, allowing the coffee beans to be roasted almost uniformly and well. Furthermore, when putting coffee beans into the cylindrical can, the lid can be turned upside down and the beans can be put into the cylindrical can through the wide lid, and after roasting, the beans can be easily taken out of the cylindrical can by removing the lid, and after that, the lid can be turned upside down and made small so that the cylindrical can and lid can be easily stored in their designated positions in the hole in the cylindrical can.

[0009] Claim 3 of the coffee bean roaster of this invention provides that the cylindrical can has anti-burn plates at the lower left and right corners of the cylindrical can, so that the coffee beans can be prevented from burning at these points.

[0010] Claim 4 of the coffee bean roaster of this invention states that the cylindrical can has a wire mesh installed from the upper right to the lower left of the cylindrical can, so that the coffee beans can be well stirred by the wire mesh, thereby enabling the coffee beans to be roasted well and uniformly and producing well roasted coffee beans.
