[0007] [Patent Document 1] Patent No. 4342067 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0008] When installing an electricity meter, the electric wire is inserted into the wire storage section of the conductor, and then the wire mounting screw is tightened with a screwdriver to bring the wire and conductor into close contact and electrically connect them. However, the tightening of the wire mounting screw is done manually, and the amount of tightening of the wire mounting screw varies depending on the thickness of the wire, resulting in variations in the tightening force.
[0009] In addition, because wire mounting screws can loosen over time and cause heat generation or fire, the system is designed to use two wire mounting screws to fasten each wire. As a result, the time required to fasten the wire mounting screws is equal to the number of wires x two wire mounting screws, and the installation costs remain unchanged.
[0010] The object of the present invention is to provide an electricity meter that can be pressed against a conductor with a force greater than or equal to a specified value using a spring for electric wires of various thicknesses, and can easily attach and detach electric wires, thereby reducing the time required for installation and removal. [Means for solving the problem]

When inserting the wire into the block, the pushing surface of the insulator is pushed in the insertion direction, whereby the fixed plate fixed to the insulator is also pushed and moved, and the spring is also pushed by the fixed plate to bend, creating a space between the wire abutment portion of the conductor and the fixed plate. After the wire is inserted through the wire-passing hole of the block into the space created between the wire abutment portion of the conductor and the fixed plate, pushing the pushing surface of the insulator in the insertion direction is stopped, and the fixed plate, pushed by the spring, presses the wire against the wire abutment portion of the conductor, thereby fixing the wire.

Effect of the Invention
[0014] According to the invention of claim 1, the wire is pressed against the conductor by the fixing plate using a spring, so the pressing force can be made greater than the specified value, there is no significant variation, and the work time can be significantly reduced compared to the tightening work time required for the current product, which requires two screws. This improves the workability of the watt-hour meter installation work while reducing costs.
[0015] According to the invention of claim 2, the fixing plate presses the electric wire against the conductor using a spring, but the force is concentrated on the protrusions on the fixing plate, which bite into the inside of the electric wire, preventing the electric wire from slipping off.

[0026] Next, the operation of the watt-hour meter of the first embodiment configured as above will be described. First, as shown in Fig. 1(b), the fixed plate 102 is inserted into the fixed plate attachment portion 101b of the insulator 101 to fix the fixed plate 102. The insulator 101 with the spring 103 inserted into the spring insertion portion 101c of the insulator 101 is inserted into the insulator insertion portion 4A1 of the block 4A from the side where the spring insertion portion 101c is located.
[0027] Next, the conductor 3A is inserted into the conductor mounting portion 4Ae of the block 4A, the conductor through-hole 101a of the insulator 101, and the second conductor mounting portion 4A2 of the block 4A to assemble them. In the assembled state, the wire abutting portion 3A1 of the conductor 3A is in contact with the fixed plate 102, and the insulator 101 is slidable in the insertion direction of the insulation insertion portion 4A1 of the block 4A.
[0028] Next, as shown in FIG. 1(d), the pressing surface 101d of the insulator 101 is pressed in the insertion direction to press the fixing plate 102, causing the spring 103 to bend.
[0029] Next, as shown in FIG. 2(b), the electric wire 9 is inserted into the space generated between the electric wire abutting portion 3A1 of the conductor 3A and the fixed plate 102 through the electric wire insertion hole 4Ad of the block 4A.
[0030] Next, pressing the pressing surface 101d of the insulator 101 is stopped, and as shown in FIG. 2(d), the fixing plate 102 pressed by the spring 103 presses the electric wire 9 against the electric wire abutment portion 3A1 of the conductor 3A, thereby fixing the electric wire 9.
[0031] As described above, according to the watt-hour meter of the first embodiment, the wire 9 is pressed against the conductor 3A by the fixing plate 102 using the spring 103, so it is possible to make the pressing force greater than the specified value. There is no significant variation, and the work time can be significantly reduced compared to the tightening work time required for the current product, which requires two screws. This makes it possible to reduce costs while improving the workability of the watt-hour meter installation work.
[0032] Second Embodiment Fig. 5(a) to Fig. 5(d) are perspective views and partial cross-sectional views of a watthour meter according to a second embodiment of the present invention. Fig. 5(a) shows a state in which an electric wire is inserted into a space between an electric wire contact portion and a protrusion of a fixing plate through an electric wire passage hole of a block with an insulator pushed in, and Fig. 5(b) shows a partial cross-sectional view of the vicinity of the insulator of the watthour meter shown in Fig. 5(a). Fig. 5(c) shows a state in which pushing of the insulator is stopped and the fixing plate and the protrusion pushed by a spring press the electric wire against the electric wire contact portion, and Fig. 5(d) shows a partial cross-sectional view of the vicinity of the insulator of the watthour meter shown in Fig. 5(c).
[0033] The watt-hour meter includes a circuit section 1, a sensor section 2, a conductor 3A, a block 4A, a case 5, a cover 7, a cover mounting screw 8, an insulator 201, a fixing plate 202, and a spring 103.
[0034] As shown in Fig. 6(b), the fixed plate 202 has two protrusions 202a. The insulator 201 has a fixed plate attachment portion 201b having two recesses formed therein to avoid the two protrusions 202a of the fixed plate 202 as shown in Fig. 6(a).
[0035] Next, the operation of the watt-hour meter of the second embodiment configured as above will be described. First, the fixing plate 202 is inserted and fixed into the fixing plate attachment portion 201b of the insulator 201. The insulator 201 with the spring 103 inserted into the spring insertion portion 201c of the insulator 201 is inserted into the insulation insertion portion 4A1 of the block from the side where the spring insertion portion 201c is located.
[0036] Next, the conductor 3A is inserted into the conductor attachment portion 4Ae of the block 4A, the conductor through-hole 201a of the insulator 201, and the second conductor attachment portion 4A2 of the block 4A for assembly.
[0037] In the assembled state, the wire contact portion 3A1 of the conductor 3A and the protrusion 202a of the fixing plate 202 are in contact with each other, and the insulator 201 is slidable in the insertion direction of the insulator insertion portion 4A1 of the block 4A.
[0038] Next, as shown in FIG. 5(b), the pushing surface 201d of the insulator 201 is pushed in the insertion direction to press the fixed plate 202, causing the spring 103 to bend, and the electric wire 9 is inserted through the electric wire passing hole 4Ad of the block 4A into the space generated between the electric wire abutment portion 3A1 of the conductor 3A and the convex portion 202a of the fixed plate 202.
[0039] Next, pressing the pressing surface 201d of the insulator 201 is stopped, and as shown in FIG. 5(d), the fixing plate 202 pressed by the spring 103 and the convex portion 202a press the electric wire 9 against the electric wire abutment portion 3A1 of the conductor 3A, thereby fixing the electric wire 9.
[0040] Thus, according to the electricity meter of the second embodiment, the electric wire 9 is pressed against the conductor by the fixing plate 202 using the spring 103, but the force is concentrated on the protrusion 202a provided on the fixing plate 202 and bites into the inside of the electric wire, thereby preventing the electric wire 9 from slipping off.

Figs. 11(a) and (b) are perspective views of an insulator of a watt-hour meter according to the third embodiment of the present invention. Figs. 11(c) and (d) are perspective views of a fixing part of a watt-hour meter according to the third embodiment of the present invention.
[0046] As shown in Fig. 10(b), the block 4C is provided with a first recess 4C3 and a second recess 4C4. As shown in Fig. 11(a) and (b), the insulator 301 is provided with an insulation-side sliding part 301e consisting of a convex part. As shown in Fig. 11(c) and (d), the fixed part 304 is provided with a fixed-side sliding part 304a that fits with the insulation-side sliding part 301e of the insulator 301, a first convex part 304b that fits with the first recess 4C3 of the block 4C, and a second convex part 304c and a sliding surface 304d that fits with the second recess 4C4 of the block 4C.
[0047] Next, the operation of the watt-hour meter of the third embodiment thus configured will be described. First, the fixed-side sliding part 304a of the fixed part 304 shown in Fig. 11(c)(d) is fitted to the insulating-side sliding part 301e of the insulator 301 shown in Fig. 11(a)(b), so that the fixed part 304 can slide relative to the insulator 301 as shown in Fig. 9(b).
[0048] 7(b), the fixed plate 102 is inserted into the fixed plate attachment portion 301b of the insulator 301 to fix the fixed plate 102. The insulator 301 with the spring 103 inserted into the spring insertion portion 301c of the insulator 301 is inserted into the insulation insertion portion 4C1 of the block 4C from the side where the spring insertion portion 301c is located.
[0049] Next, the conductor 3A is inserted into the conductor mounting portion 4Ce of the block 4C, the conductor through-hole 301a of the insulator 301, and the second conductor mounting portion 4C2 of the block 4C to assemble them. In the assembled state, the wire abutting portion 3A1 of the conductor 3A is in contact with the fixed plate 102, and the insulator 301 is slidable in the insertion direction of the insulator insertion portion 4C1 of the block 4C.
[0050] Next, by pressing the sliding surface 304d of the fixed part 304 in the insertion direction of the insulating insert portion 4C1, the insulator 301 and the fixed plate 102 are pressed, and the spring 103 is deflected.
[0051] Next, the fixing part 304 is slid to fit the first convex portion 304b of the fixing part 304 into the first concave portion 4C3 of the block 4C, and at the same time, fit the second convex portion 304c of the fixing part 304 into the second concave portion 4C4 of the block 4C. In this state, a space is maintained between the wire abutting portion 3A1 of the conductor 3A and the fixing plate 102.
[0052] Next, as shown in FIG. 7(d), the electric wire 9 is inserted into the space generated between the electric wire abutting portion 3A1 of the conductor 3A and the fixed plate 102 through the electric wire insertion hole 4Cd of the block 4C.
[0053] 8(b), the sliding surface 304d of the fixed part 304 is slid to remove the first convex part 304b of the fixed part 304 from the first concave part 4C3 of the block 4C. At the same time, the second convex part 304c of the fixed part 304 is removed from the second concave part 4C4 of the block 4C.
[0054] Next, as shown in FIG. 8(d), the fixing plate 102 pressed by the spring 103 presses the electric wire 9 against the electric wire abutment portion 3A1 of the conductor 3A, thereby fixing the electric wire 9.
[0055] In addition, with the electric wire 9 fixed, the lower surfaces of the first convex portion 304b and the second convex portion 304c of the fixing part 304 abut against the block 4C, and when the sliding surface 304d of the fixing part 304 is pushed in the insertion direction of the insulating insertion portion 4C1, the first convex portion 304b and the second convex portion 304c slide without getting caught on the block, making it possible to easily remove the electric wire.
