Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] One embodiment of the present invention relates to a solvent composition comprising an azeotropic (like) composition containing Z-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene and one or more hexane isomers. Another embodiment of the present invention relates to an aerosol composition, a cleaning agent, a method for cleaning an article using the cleaning agent, a composition for forming a coating film, a method for producing an article with a coating film, a draining agent, a rinse agent, and a lubricant solution, each of which contains the solvent composition. [Background technology]
[0002] Fluorinated saturated compounds such as chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) have been used in applications such as blowing agents, heat transfer media, solvents, cleaning agents, etc. In these applications, the use of single component or azeotropic (like) compositions, i.e., those that do not substantially fractionate upon boiling or evaporation, is particularly desirable.
[0003] These fluorine-containing saturated compounds have a high global warming potential (GWP), and there are concerns about their impact on the global environment, so their use is restricted. Therefore, hydrochlorofluoroolefins (HCFOs) have been developed as alternatives to CFCs and HCFCs. HCFOs have excellent environmental performance, with a short lifespan in the atmosphere and a small global warming potential.
[0004] However, the development of new, environmentally safe, non-fractionalizing compositions, including HCFOs, is difficult because the formation of azeotropic (like) compositions is not easily predictable, and therefore the industry is continually seeking new HCFO compositions that provide performance-acceptable and environmentally safer alternatives to CFCs and HCFCs.
[0005] Meanwhile, Z-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene (hereinafter also referred to as HCFO-1233zd(Z) or 1233zd(Z)) is one of the environmentally friendly compounds. For example, Patent Documents 1 and 2 disclose that HCFO-1233zd(Z) forms an azeotrope-like composition with n-hexane, which is one of the main components of industrial hexane that is widely used as a solvent. Patent Documents 1 and 3 disclose that HCFO-1233zd(Z) forms an azeotrope-like composition with 2-methylpentane, which is one of the main components of industrial hexane that is widely used as a solvent. [0007] As mentioned above, it is difficult to predict the formation of azeotrope (like) compositions, and although other isomers of hexane exist, no studies have been conducted to date on other hexane isomers that form azeotropes or azeotrope-like forms with HCFO-1233zd(Z), nor have any studies been conducted on combinations of HCFO-1233zd(Z) with two or more hexane isomers.
[0008] One of the embodiments of the present invention aims to propose a solvent composition containing environmentally friendly Z-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene (HCFO-1233zd(Z)) and hexane isomers, and a novel azeotrope-like composition whose composition does not change even when evaporated. Furthermore, one of the embodiments of the present invention aims to propose a method for manufacturing an article with a coating film using the coating film-forming composition. [0032] The solvent composition, aerosol composition, cleaning agent and article cleaning method, coating film-forming composition, coating film-forming article manufacturing method, draining agent, rinse agent, and lubricant solution according to the embodiments of the present invention will be described below. However, the solvent composition, aerosol composition, cleaning agent and article cleaning method, coating film-forming composition, coating film-forming article manufacturing method, draining agent, rinse agent, and lubricant solution according to the embodiments of the present invention are not to be construed as being limited to the description of the embodiments and examples shown below.
[0033] [Azeotropic (like) composition] Since fluorine-containing olefins are highly compatible with various solvents, it is possible to easily prepare a uniform composition. However, in the case of such a simple composition, there is an inherent problem that the liquid composition is easily variable. That is, even if multiple types of liquids are mixed and compatibility is ensured, the problem that the liquid composition is easily variable due to the difference in volatility of each component cannot be avoided. For example, when a binary liquid composition is placed in an ultrasonic cleaner and used as a cleaning agent, generally, a low-boiling point component with high volatility (a component with a high vapor pressure) volatilizes preferentially, and a high-boiling point component with low volatility is concentrated in the cleaning tank. For example, in the case of a composition of a low-boiling point component with high cleaning power and a high-boiling point component with low cleaning power, the concentration of the low-boiling point component in the cleaning liquid decreases over time, which may cause poor cleaning. In particular, when a non-flammable composition is prepared by blending a flammable solvent with a non-flammable solvent, the cleaning liquid may become a flammable composition if the non-flammable component volatilizes preferentially.
[0034] In addition, from the standpoint of both environmental protection and economics, it is desirable to recover and reuse the cleaning solvent after use by operations such as distillation. However, in the case of a two-component liquid, it is generally necessary to recover the two component liquids, which have different boiling points, separately, and recovery and reuse can be an operational burden.
[0035] For this reason, when using a binary (multi-component) liquid composition as a cleaning agent or solvent, the liquid composition must be frequently analyzed, and the composition must be constantly mixed in an appropriate ratio to ensure that the composition is within the appropriate range, and any volatilized components must be replenished. However, such liquid composition management can be a heavy burden on the workforce.
[0036] In contrast, azeotropic compositions evaporate with the same composition as the liquid, making them a very desirable composition that does not change during use. In this specification, "azeotrope" refers to azeotropy in the strict thermodynamic sense. For example, in the case of a water / ethanol mixture, a composition of ethanol (96% by mass) and water (4% by mass) is an azeotrope, and the vapor that exists in vapor-liquid equilibrium with this is also "ethanol (96% by mass): water (4% by mass)", which is completely consistent with the liquid composition. This phenomenon is called "azeotropy." At a specific temperature and pressure, there is only one composition of the azeotrope.
[0037] "Azeotrope-like" is also called "quasi-azeotrope" and refers to a phenomenon where, although it is not strictly azeotropic thermodynamically, for a liquid with a certain range of compositions, the liquid composition is substantially equal to the composition of the gas in equilibrium. Even if the compositions of the gas phase and liquid phase do not completely match, those skilled in the art can treat it as an azeotropic composition as long as the compositions of the gas phase and liquid phase are substantially the same. In this case, the smaller the difference in the gas-liquid equilibrium composition between the gas phase and liquid phase, the better. In this way, the phenomenon in which the gas-liquid equilibrium composition of the gas phase and liquid phase is substantially the same is called azeotrope-like or pseudo-azeotrope, and the composition is called an azeotrope-like composition or pseudo-azeotrope composition.
[0038] Academically, the azeotropic phenomenon and the pseudo-azeotropic phenomenon (or azeotrope-like) should be distinguished, but in practical applications such as cleaning, there is no need to distinguish between the azeotropic phenomenon and the azeotrope-like phenomenon (or pseudo-azeotrope), and they can be treated in exactly the same way. Therefore, in this specification, the azeotropic phenomenon and the azeotrope-like phenomenon (or pseudo-azeotrope) are collectively referred to as "azeotrope (like)." The composition at that time is referred to as the "azeotrope (like) composition." In azeotrope (like), the presence or absence of an azeotropic point does not matter. It is sufficient that the vapor-liquid equilibrium composition of the vapor phase and the liquid phase is essentially the same.
[0039] The term "azeotrope-like" is not derived theoretically, but is found only when the vapor-liquid equilibrium is experimentally investigated for various types and composition ratios of liquids, and the vapor phase composition coincides with the liquid phase composition. The present inventors have found that an azeotrope-like composition consisting of Z-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene and at least one selected from the group consisting of hexane isomers 3-methylpentane, 2,3-dimethylbutane, 2,2-dimethylbutane, and methylcyclopentane has an azeotropic point where the vapor and liquid compositions are completely identical, and / or has an azeotrope-like composition where the vapor and liquid compositions are substantially the same.
[0040] [Z-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene] Z-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene is a non-flammable solvent with no flash point and no flammable range according to the explosion limit test method ASTM E681. In addition, 1233zd(Z) has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of practically zero and a global warming potential (GWP) of <1, and has excellent environmental chemical properties. Therefore, 1233zd(Z) is not a component specified in the Ozone Layer Protection Act, the Global Warming Countermeasures Promotion Act, the Fluorocarbons Emissions Control Act, the Fire Service Act, the High Pressure Gas Safety Act, etc., and can be used in a wide range of applications.
[0041] [Solvent composition] The present solvent composition includes an azeotrope (like) composition consisting of 1233zd(Z) and at least one selected from the group consisting of 3-methylpentane, 2,3-dimethylbutane, 2,2-dimethylbutane, and methylcyclopentane. In one embodiment, the present solvent composition may include 99.9999% by mass to 80.0000% by mass of 1233zd(Z) and 0.0001% by mass to 20.0000% by mass of 3-methylpentane, based on the total amount of 1233zd(Z) and 3-methylpentane. Among them, when the present solvent composition includes 99.9999% by mass to 90.0000% by mass of 1233zd(Z) and 0.0001% by mass to 10.0000% by mass of 3-methylpentane, the variation of the liquid composition is smaller, which is preferable.
[0042] In one embodiment, the solvent composition may contain 99.9999% by mass to 75.0000% by mass of 1233zd(Z) and 0.0001% by mass to 25.0000% by mass of 2,3-dimethylbutane, based on the total amount of 1233zd(Z) and 2,3-dimethylbutane. Among these, when the solvent composition contains 99.9999% by mass to 85.0000% by mass of 1233zd(Z) and 0.0001% by mass to 15.0000% by mass of 2,3-dimethylbutane, the variation in the liquid composition is smaller, which is preferable.
[0043] In one embodiment, the solvent composition may contain 99.9999% by mass to 60.0000% by mass of Z-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene and 0.0001% by mass to 40.0000% by mass of 2,2-dimethylbutane, based on the total amount of Z-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene and 2,2-dimethylbutane. Among them, when the solvent composition contains 99.9999% by mass to 65.0000% by mass of 1233zd(Z) and 0.0001% by mass to 35.0000% by mass of 2,2-dimethylbutane, the variation of the liquid composition is smaller, which is preferable.
[0044] In one embodiment, the solvent composition may contain 99.9999% to 85.0000% by mass of Z-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene and 0.0001% to 15.0000% by mass of methylcyclopentane, based on the total amount of Z-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene and methylcyclopentane. Among them, when the solvent composition contains 99.9999% to 90.0000% by mass of 1233zd(Z) and 0.0001% to 10.0000% by mass of methylcyclopentane, the variation of the liquid composition is smaller, which is preferable.
[0045] In one embodiment, the solvent composition may further contain at least one selected from the group consisting of n-hexane, 2-methylpentane, and cyclopentane in an azeotropic (like) composition consisting of 1233zd(Z) and at least one selected from the group consisting of 3-methylpentane, 2,3-dimethylbutane, 2,2-dimethylbutane, and methylcyclopentane. In one embodiment, the solvent composition may contain at least two or at least three selected from the group consisting of 3-methylpentane, 2,3-dimethylbutane, 2,2-dimethylbutane, methylcyclopentane, 2-methylpentane, and n-hexane together with 1233zd(Z). In one embodiment, the solvent composition may contain a mixture of 3-methylpentane, 2,3-dimethylbutane, 2,2-dimethylbutane, methylcyclopentane, 2-methylpentane, and n-hexane together with 1233zd(Z).
[0046] As is clear from the vapor-liquid equilibrium measurements shown in the Examples below, a solvent composition consisting of 1233zd(Z) and at least one selected from the group consisting of 3-methylpentane, 2,3-dimethylbutane, 2,2-dimethylbutane, and methylcyclopentane, and a solvent composition consisting of 1233zd(Z) and industrial hexane are azeotropic (or like) compositions in which the composition of the gas phase and the liquid phase are substantially the same at a given composition.
[0047] This solvent composition can be produced through a process of mixing 1233zd(Z) with at least one selected from the group consisting of 3-methylpentane, 2,3-dimethylbutane, 2,2-dimethylbutane, and methylcyclopentane. It goes without saying that one of the preferred embodiments of this azeotrope(-like) composition is one that is substantially free of impurities and has a high purity. However, depending on the application, a liquid composition with such a high purity may not be required. In such a case, it is also possible to use raw materials for synthesizing 1233zd(Z) or a composition containing a small amount of by-products. For example, it is also possible to use a composition in which the total amount of raw materials and by-products is less than 10% by mass, preferably less than 5% by mass, particularly preferably less than 3% by mass, and even more preferably less than 1% by mass, based on the azeotrope(-like) composition.
[0048] In one embodiment, the solvent composition may further contain at least one selected from the group consisting of pentane, isopentane, benzene, and sulfur. These components may be contained in industrial hexane, and the solvent composition may contain these components in the range generally contained in industrial hexane. More specifically, the solvent composition may contain at least one selected from the group consisting of 3-methylpentane, 2,3-dimethylbutane, 2,2-dimethylbutane, and methylcyclopentane in the ratio contained in industrial hexane. Thus, the solvent composition may contain an azeotropic (like) composition combining 1233zd(Z) and industrial hexane. The sulfur content is, for example, a sulfur-containing component of naphtha (a hydrocarbon stream having a boiling range of about 50°C to about 220°C found in oil refining operations), and specific examples thereof include mercaptan, thiophene, methylthiophene, tetrahydrothiophene (THT), ethylthiophene, propylthiophene, butylthiophene, thiophenol, methylthiophenol, benzothiophene, methylbenzothiophene, and alkylbenzothiophenes. These may be used alone or in mixtures of two or more kinds.
[0049] On the other hand, when it is required that the present solvent composition be composed of an azeotrope (like) composition of high purity, it is preferable to perform precision distillation of each of 1233zd(Z) and at least one member selected from the group consisting of 3-methylpentane, 2,3-dimethylbutane, 2,2-dimethylbutane, and methylcyclopentane to remove impurities derived from the raw materials and increase the purity, and then mix the two components to prepare the present azeotrope (like) composition.
[0050] In one embodiment, the solvent composition may further contain at least one solvent selected from the group consisting of hydrocarbons, alcohols, ketones, ethers, esters, chlorocarbons, hydrochlorofluorocarbons, hydrofluorocarbons, hydrofluoroethers, and hydrofluoroolefins.

[0075] In one embodiment, the solvent composition may also be mixed with a propellant gas to form an aerosol composition.
[0076] The propellant gas may be a liquefied gas or a compressed gas, such as, but not limited to, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), dimethyl ether (DME), nitrogen, carbon dioxide, compressed air, argon, fluorine-based gas, etc. These may be used alone or in a mixture of two or more kinds. Examples of fluorine-based gases include difluoromethane (HFC-32), 1,1-difluoroethane (HFC-152a), 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane (HFC-134a), 1,1,1,2,2-pentafluoroethane (HFC-125), 1,1,1-trifluoroethane (HFC-143a), 1,1,1,2,3,3,3-heptafluoropropane (HFC-227ea), E-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene (HFO-1234ze(E)), 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene (HFO-1234yf), and the like, but are not limited thereto. Among the fluorine-based gases, difluoromethane, 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane, 1,1,1,2,2-pentafluoroethane, 1,1,1,2,3,3,3-heptafluoropropane, E-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene, and 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene are preferred because they are non-flammable or slightly flammable, and E-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene, 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene, and mixtures of E-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene and 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene are particularly preferred because they have a small global warming potential (GWP) and low toxicity.
[0077] The present aerosol composition can be produced by mixing the present solvent composition with the above-mentioned propellant gas, and can be provided by filling it into a pressure-resistant can.
[0078] [Use as a cleaning agent or solvent (method of cleaning articles)] This solvent composition is suitable for removing foreign matter, oils and fats, grease, wax, flux, ink, etc. from precision machine parts, electronic materials (printed circuit boards, liquid crystal displays, magnetic recording parts, semiconductor materials, etc.), resin processed parts, optical lenses, clothing, etc. Since this solvent composition has appropriate fluidity and solubility, foreign matter (particles, etc.) can be washed away or dissolved to remove it. In addition, in cleaning various vehicles, vehicles, and transport vehicles such as automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles, construction machines, agricultural machines, aircraft, railway vehicles, and ships (particularly, brake cleaning of these vehicles), a process of wetting and washing away dirt is required, and this solvent composition has an appropriate boiling point and can wet and wash away dirt, so it is suitable for such cleaning (particularly, use as a brake cleaner). The cleaning method is not particularly limited, but examples include methods such as immersing the article to be cleaned in this solvent composition to wash away dirt, wiping with a rag, and spray cleaning, and these may be used in combination. One particularly preferred embodiment is to put the solvent composition in an ultrasonic cleaner, immerse the article to be cleaned in the solution, and perform ultrasonic cleaning. Another preferred embodiment is spray cleaning, for example, a method in which the solvent composition is mixed with a propellant gas to form an aerosol, which is then sprayed onto various articles to be cleaned.
[0079] As mentioned above, even when used in an open system, the composition of this solvent composition hardly changes, so it exhibits stable cleaning power without frequent composition control, which is a major practical advantage.
[0080] The cleaning solution used for cleaning can be recovered and then distilled to separate and remove grease and foreign matter (particles), and the present solvent composition can be recovered. When recovering the present solvent composition, a filtration operation may be performed. Since a typical distillation regeneration device for a cleaning agent is a simple distillation type, when the present solvent composition contains an azeotropic (like) composition consisting of 1233zd(Z) and at least one selected from the group consisting of 3-methylpentane, 2,3-dimethylbutane, 2,2-dimethylbutane, and methylcyclopentane, it can be regenerated with a commercially available distillation regeneration device without substantial change in composition.
[0081] During the distillation operation, 1233zd(Z) and at least one liquid component selected from the group consisting of 3-methylpentane, 2,3-dimethylbutane, 2,2-dimethylbutane, and methylcyclopentane maintain the properties of an azeotropic (like) composition, so the recovered liquid can be reused as a cleaning solvent without undergoing extensive composition adjustment. Note that if the above-mentioned "solvent" or "additional component" is used, the "solvent" or "additional component" may be removed by distillation, so in that case it is desirable to supplement it separately.
[0082] [For draining and rinsing purposes] The present solvent composition can be used as a draining agent. In the manufacturing process of articles handled in various industrial fields such as automobiles, machinery, precision instruments, electricity, electronics, and optics, the articles may be washed with water such as pure water, or washed with an aqueous cleaner, a quasi-aqueous cleaner obtained by blending an aqueous cleaner with a water-soluble solvent, an alcoholic cleaner, a glycol ether cleaner, a hydrocarbon cleaner obtained by blending a surfactant with a hydrocarbon, or the like. When an aqueous cleaner or a quasi-aqueous cleaner is used, water is attached to the article after washing, and a draining process is generally performed after the washing process to remove water with a draining agent. The present solvent composition can be suitably used as a draining agent used in such a draining process. In one embodiment, the present draining agent includes the present solvent composition. Alternatively, in one embodiment, the present draining agent includes the above-mentioned aerosol composition instead of the present solvent composition. When the present solvent composition or the aerosol composition is used as a draining agent, it is suitable to further include an alcohol as a solvent. Similarly, the present solvent composition can be suitably used as a rinse agent for removing a high-boiling point cleaning agent attached to an article after a cleaning process using the high-boiling point cleaning agent. In one embodiment, the rinse agent includes the present solvent composition or the aerosol composition.
[0083] The method for draining water is not particularly limited as long as the solvent composition or aerosol composition is used as a draining agent, and any method known in the art can be used. For example, a method in which the article to be drained is brought into contact with the solvent composition or aerosol composition and dried can be mentioned.
[0084] In some embodiments, the present solvent composition exhibits a cleaning action as well as a draining action, so that the cleaning step and the draining step can be performed at the same time. That is, by performing the cleaning step, dirt attached to the object to be cleaned can be removed, and moisture that may adhere to the object to be cleaned can be removed. Therefore, it is not necessary to use the cleaning agent and the draining agent separately in the cleaning step and the draining step, which is more productive. This does not prevent the cleaning agent and the draining agent used in the cleaning step and the draining step from being used separately, and if desired, the present solvent composition may be used as a cleaning agent and / or a draining agent in each step. In some embodiments, the present solvent composition is suitable for cleaning an article (an article to be cleaned) to which dirt containing water (for example, water-soluble oil) is attached. By using the present solvent composition, moisture can be removed together with dirt attached to the object to be cleaned.
[0085] [Method of producing coating film-forming composition and coated article] The present solvent composition can also be used as a solvent for applying a non-volatile component to the surface of an article. A solute component is dissolved in the present solvent composition to form a coating film-forming composition, which is applied to an article, and the solvent composition is evaporated to form a coating film of the non-volatile component on the article. In addition, in the coating film-forming composition and the method for producing an article with a coating film, which are one embodiment of the present invention, the present aerosol composition can be used instead of or together with the present solvent composition.
[0086] The non-volatile components referred to here include lubricants for imparting lubricity to articles, paints and rust inhibitors for imparting rust prevention effects to metal parts, paints and moisture-proof coating agents for imparting water repellency to articles, paints and fingerprint inhibitors for imparting stain-proofing properties to articles, and the like.
[0087] A lubricant can also be dissolved in the solvent composition to prepare a lubricant solution. The solvent composition or aerosol composition is used as a solvent for a lubricant, and the lubricant solution or aerosol composition is environmentally friendly, has excellent solubility of the lubricant, and has sufficient quick-drying properties, making it suitable for forming a lubricant coating film.
[0088] A lubricant is a substance used to lubricate friction surfaces and improve the mechanical efficiency of the friction surfaces. It is used to reduce friction at the contact surfaces and prevent heat generation and wear damage when two components move with their surfaces in contact with each other. Lubricants are required to have appropriate viscosity, physical and chemical stability, oiliness, and oxidation stability. The form of the lubricant may be liquid (oil), semi-solid (grease), or solid. Types of lubricants include mineral oil-based lubricants, synthetic oil-based lubricants, fluorine-based lubricants, and silicone-based lubricants. These may be used alone or in combination.
[0089] As the lubricant, a fluorine-based lubricant or a silicone-based lubricant is preferred because of its excellent solubility or dispersibility in the present solvent composition.
[0090] The fluorine-based lubricant refers to a lubricant having a fluorine atom in the molecule, and examples thereof include fluorine-based solid lubricants such as fluorine oil, fluorine grease, and polytetrafluoroethylene resin powder.
[0091] As the fluorine oil, perfluoropolyether (hereinafter, also referred to as PFPE) or a low polymer of chlorotrifluoroethylene is preferable, and examples thereof include products with the names "Krytox (registered trademark) GPL102" (manufactured by DuPont Co., Ltd.), "Daifloil #1", "Daifloil #3", "Daifloil #10", "Daifloil #20", "Daifloil #50", "Daifloil #100", and "Demnum S-65" (all manufactured by Daikin Industries, Ltd.), the "Fomblin (registered trademark) Y" series, the "Fomblin (registered trademark) M" series, the "Fomblin (registered trademark) W" series, and the "Fomblin (registered trademark) Z" series (all manufactured by Solvay Specialty Polymers).
[0092] As the fluorine grease, one that uses fluorine oil such as PFPE or a low polymer of chlorotrifluoroethylene as a base oil and blends polytetrafluoroethylene powder or other thickeners is preferable. For example, product names "Krytox (registered trademark) Grease 240AC" (manufactured by DuPont Co., Ltd.), "Daifloil Grease DG-203", "Demnum L65", "Demnum L100", "Demnum L200" (all manufactured by Daikin Co., Ltd.), "Sumitec F936" (manufactured by Sumitomo Lubricants Co., Ltd.), "Molycoat (registered trademark) HP-300", "Molycoat (registered trademark) HP-500", "Molycoat (registered trademark) HP-870", "Molycoat (registered trademark) 6169" (all manufactured by Toray Dow Corning Co., Ltd.) and the like can be mentioned.
[0093] Moreover, the silicone-based lubricant refers to a lubricant that contains silicone, and examples thereof include silicone oil and silicone grease.
[0094] Examples of silicone oils include straight silicones, and modified silicones such as reactive silicones and non-reactive silicones. More specifically, examples of straight silicones include dimethyl silicones, methylphenyl silicones, and methylhydrogen silicones, which are bonded with methyl groups, phenyl groups, and hydrogen atoms as substituents. Examples of reactive silicones include amino-modified, epoxy-modified, carboxy-modified, carbinol-modified, methacryl-modified, phenol-modified, and heterogeneous functional group-modified. Examples of non-reactive silicones include polyether-modified, methylstyryl-modified, alkyl-modified, higher fatty acid ester-modified, special hydrophilic modified, and fluorine-modified. These silicones may be one type or a mixture of two or more types. Examples of silicone oils include those with the product names "Shin-Etsu Silicone KF-96," "Shin-Etsu Silicone KF-965," "Shin-Etsu Silicone KF-968," "Shin-Etsu Silicone KF-99," "Shin-Etsu Silicone KF-50," "Shin-Etsu Silicone KF-54," "Shin-Etsu Silicone HIVACF-4," "Shin-Etsu Silicone HIVACF-5," "Shin-Etsu Silicone KF-56A," and "Shin-Etsu Silicone KF-995" (all manufactured by Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd.), "SH200" (manufactured by Dow Corning Toray Co., Ltd.), and "MDX4-4159" (manufactured by Dow Corning).
[0095] As the silicone grease, products in which the above-mentioned various silicone oils are used as base oils, thickeners such as metal soaps, and various additives are blended are preferred. For example, the product names "Shin-Etsu Silicone G-30 Series", "Shin-Etsu Silicone G-40 Series", "Shin-Etsu Silicone FG-720 Series", "Shin-Etsu Silicone G-411", "Shin-Etsu Silicone G-501", "Shin-Etsu Silicone G-6500", "Shin-Etsu Silicone G-330", "Shin-Etsu Silicone G-340", "Shin-Etsu Silicone G-350", and "Shin-Etsu Silicone G-630" (all manufactured by Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd.), "Molycoat (registered trademark) SH33L", "Molycoat (registered trademark) 41", "Molycoat (registered trademark) 44", "Molycoat (registered trademark) 822M", "Molycoat (registered trademark) 111", "Molycoat (registered trademark) high vacuum grease", and "Molycoat (registered trademark) heat diffusion compound" (all manufactured by Toray Dow Corning Co., Ltd.) can be mentioned.
[0096] The lubricant solution may contain one type of lubricant or two or more types of lubricants.
[0097] In the present lubricant solution, the composition of the present azeotropic (or liquid composition) and the lubricant is not particularly limited and can be appropriately selected as desired. For example, the lubricant is 0.1% by mass or more and 50% by mass or less relative to 100% by mass of the present lubricant composition, but is not limited thereto.
[0098] The method of applying the lubricant solution to the surface of an article is not particularly limited, and examples thereof include application by brush, application by spray, application by immersing an article in the lubricant solution, and application methods in which the lubricant solution is brought into contact with the inner wall of a tube or syringe needle by sucking up the lubricant solution.
[0099] As the rust inhibitor, moisture-proof coating agent, and fingerprint prevention agent, any conventionally known substance can be used. For example, a rust inhibitor is a substance that covers the surface of a metal that is easily oxidized by oxygen in the air to cause rust, thereby blocking the metal surface from oxygen and thereby preventing rusting of the metal material.
[0100] These rust inhibitors, moisture-proof coating agents, and fingerprint prevention agents can be dissolved in the solvent composition in the same manner as the lubricant described above to form a solution, and then applied to the surface of an article to which various functions are to be imparted in a similar manner to form a coating film, thereby producing an article with a coating film.
[0101] The article to which the lubricant, rust inhibitor, moisture-proof coating agent, or fingerprint prevention agent is applied may be made of various materials such as metal, resin, elastomer, ceramics, or glass. Examples of the article include, but are not limited to, industrial equipment using fluorine-based lubricants, CD and DVD tray parts in personal computers and audio equipment, and home and office equipment such as printers and copy machines. In addition, the article may be suitably used in syringe needles and cylinders, medical tube parts, etc. using silicone-based lubricants.
[0102] The solvent or aerosol composition can also be used as a reaction solvent, an extractant, a drying agent, and the like. EXAMPLES
[0103] The present invention will be described in more detail below with reference to examples. However, the present invention is not limited to the following examples as long as it does not depart from the gist of the present invention.
[0104] <Vapour-liquid equilibrium measurement> [Example 1: Mixture of 1233zd(Z) and 3-methylpentane] A mixed solution (400 g) of 1233zd(Z) and 3-methylpentane was charged into an Osmer-type vapor-liquid equilibrium distillation apparatus, and the vapor and liquid phase compositions at equilibrium were determined by gas chromatography. The measurement results are shown in Table 1 and Figure 1. [Table 1]
[0105] As shown in Table 1 and Figure 1, a mixed solution of 1233zd(Z) and 3-methylpentane forms an azeotropic (like) composition when it contains 99.9999 mass% to 80.0000 mass% of 1233zd(Z) and 0.0001 mass% to 20.0000 mass% of 3-methylpentane relative to the total amount of the mixed solution. Among them, when it contains 99.9999 mass% to 90.0000 mass% of 1233zd(Z) and 0.0001 mass% to 10.0000 mass% of 3-methylpentane relative to the total amount of the mixed solution, it is particularly preferable because the fluctuation of the liquid composition is smaller.
[0106] [Example 2: Mixture of 1233zd(Z) and 2,3-dimethylbutane] Except for using 2,3-dimethylbutane instead of 3-methylpentane, the gas phase composition and liquid phase composition at the time of reaching the equilibrium state were determined by gas chromatography in the same manner as in Example 1. The measurement results are shown in Table 2 and FIG. [Table 2]
[0107] As shown in Table 2 and Figure 2, it can be seen that the mixed solution of 1233zd(Z) and 2,3-dimethylbutane forms an azeotropic (like) composition when it contains 99.9999 mass% to 75.0000 mass% of 1233zd(Z) and 0.0001 mass% to 25.0000 mass% of 2,3-dimethylbutane relative to the total amount of the mixed solution. Among them, when it contains 99.9999 mass% to 85.0000 mass% of 1233zd(Z) and 0.0001 mass% to 15.0000 mass% of 2,3-dimethylbutane relative to the total amount of the mixed solution, it is particularly preferable because the fluctuation of the liquid composition is smaller.
[0108] [Example 3: Mixture of 1233zd(Z) and industrial hexane] The gas phase composition and liquid phase composition at the time of reaching the equilibrium state were determined by gas chromatography in the same manner as in Example 1, except that industrial hexane was used instead of 3-methylpentane. The measurement results are shown in Table 3. The industrial hexane used was, for example, a mixture of hexane isomers including 2,2-dimethylbutane (2,2-DMB), 2,3-dimethylbutane (2,3-DMB), 2-methylpentane (2-MP), 3-methylpentane (3-MP), n-hexane (n-Hex), and methylcyclopentane (MCP), and the composition (mass ratio) of the mixture was 2,2-DMB / 2,3-DMB / 2-MP / 3-MP / n-Hex / MCP=5.7 / 5.5 / 5.8 / 5.8 / 64.3 / 12.6. [Table 3]
[0109] As shown in Table 3, it can be seen that the mixed solution of 1233zd(Z) and industrial hexane forms an azeotropic (like) composition when it contains 99.9999 mass% to 85.0000 mass% of 1233zd(Z) and 0.0001 mass% to 15.0000 mass% of industrial hexane relative to the total amount of the mixed solution. Among them, when it contains 99.9999 mass% to 95.0000 mass% of 1233zd(Z) and 0.0001 mass% to 5.0000 mass% of industrial hexane relative to the total amount of the mixed solution, it is particularly preferable because the fluctuation of the liquid composition is smaller.
[0110] [Example 4: Mixture of 1233zd(Z) and 2,2-dimethylbutane] Except for using 2,2-dimethylbutane instead of 3-methylpentane, the gas phase composition and liquid phase composition at the time of reaching the equilibrium state were determined by gas chromatography in the same manner as in Example 1. The measurement results are shown in Table 4 and FIG. [Table 4]
[0111] As shown in Table 4 and Figure 3, the mixed solution of 1233zd(Z) and 2,2-dimethylbutane forms an azeotropic (like) composition when it contains 99.9999 mass% to 60.0000 mass% of 1233zd(Z) and 0.0001 mass% to 40.0000 mass% of 2,2-dimethylbutane relative to the total amount of the mixed solution. Among them, when it contains 99.9999 mass% to 65.0000 mass% of 1233zd(Z) and 0.0001 mass% to 35.0000 mass% of 2,2-dimethylbutane relative to the total amount of the mixed solution, it is particularly preferable because the fluctuation of the liquid composition is smaller.
[0112] [Example 5: Mixture of 1233zd(Z) and methylcyclopentane] Except for using methylcyclopentane instead of 3-methylpentane, the gas phase composition and liquid phase composition at the time of reaching the equilibrium state were determined by gas chromatography in the same manner as in Example 1. The measurement results are shown in Table 5 and FIG. [Table 5]
[0113] As shown in Table 5 and Figure 4, the mixed solution of 1233zd(Z) and methylcyclopentane forms an azeotropic (like) composition when it contains 99.9999 mass% to 85.0000 mass% of 1233zd(Z) and 0.0001 mass% to 15.0000 mass% of methylcyclopentane relative to the total amount of the mixed solution. Among them, when it contains 99.9999 mass% to 90.0000 mass% of 1233zd(Z) and 0.0001 mass% to 10.0000 mass% of methylcyclopentane relative to the total amount of the mixed solution, it is particularly preferable because the fluctuation of the liquid composition is smaller.
