Moving mechanism

Abstract

The moving speed of the support can be improved by an approach other than improving the performance of the driving force source. [Solution] The moving mechanism 10 has a pair of rails 10A (line structure) that are connected in the longitudinal direction on the left and right, and moves the support 11 on these. The moving mechanism 10 has the following: a driving force source 15 located below the support 11; a pair of wall-like racks 13, 14 that support the pair of rails 10A from below; a storage space 13A between the wall-like racks 13, 14 in which the driving force source 15 is stored; a pair of moving devices 12 that move on a moving route 12A along the rails 10A to move the support 11 along the rails 10A; and a pair of line covers 13B, 14B that are provided on the wall-like racks 13, 14, respectively, and cover the rails 10A and the moving route 12A from above without interfering with them.
