Abstract
The present application provides a negative electrode active material, a manufacturing method thereof, a secondary battery including the same, a battery module, a battery pack, and a power consumption device. The negative electrode active material of the present application includes a silicon core, a first coating layer that is a carbon-containing layer coated on the surface of the silicon core, and a second coating layer that is an elemental sulfur layer coated on the surface of the first coating layer. The negative electrode active material of the present application can improve the energy density of the secondary battery and extend the cycle life.
