Abstract

To disclose a structure which can reduce a pressure loss of an exhaust gas, and can reduce a heat capacity while making an exhaust manifold compact in a size, in a cylinder head of an engine having four cylinders.SOLUTION: First to fourth exhaust ports 7 to 10 are formed at a cylinder head 2. A second exhaust port 8 and a third exhaust port 9 are aggregated in the cylinder head 2, and an aggregation part is opened at a first exhaust port 13 of an exhaust side face 12. The first exhaust port 7 and a fourth exhaust port 10 are individually opened at a second exhaust port 14 and a third exhaust port 15. An exhaust manifold 24 has three pieces of branch pipes 25 to 27, and can be reduced in a fore-and-aft dimension, thus allowing compactness in a size. Since an internal aggregation and the exhaust manifold are common in use, an exhaust gas can be smoothly discharged while achieving the prevention of the enlargement of the cylinder head and the compactness of the exhaust manifold 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
