Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a fishing float for floating facilities such as oyster and other shellfish farming and fish farming rafts on the sea, and in particular to a fishing float comprising a foamed resin float body and a divided float cover that covers the entire periphery of the float body. [Background technology]
[0002] Fishing floats are used to float aquaculture rafts on the sea surface (Patent Documents 1 and 2). The fishing float comprises a float body having an overall cylindrical shape and a float cover. The float body is generally made of expanded polystyrene (EPS). Although the float body made of polystyrene foam is lightweight and inexpensive, it has strength issues, so the float body is covered with a bag-shaped float cover (Non-Patent Document 1). Conventional float covers are made by sewing a woven fabric made of flat yarns of polyethylene or polypropylene containing a weather-resistant agent to a bag body with a bottom. After the float body is housed inside the float cover, the opening of the float cover is narrowed and closed with a drawstring. Furthermore, a fishing float made of a sealed container of plastic or FRP has also been proposed as a fishing float that does not use polystyrene foam (Patent Document 3). [0005] Conventional fishing floats have the following problems to be solved: <1> The float body made of polystyrene foam is prone to breaking due to its low durability, and the float cover made of fiber fabric such as polyethylene will tear in a few years due to ultraviolet degradation and wear. As a result, tiny fragments (styrofoam beads) created when the polystyrene foam float body breaks down are scattered into the ocean, causing environmental pollution. <2> Conventional fishing floats house the float body inside a bag-shaped float cover, and then the opening of the float cover is tightened and closed with a drawstring, but it is difficult to completely close the opening of the float cover. <3> Since the durability of conventional float covers is short, at 2 to 3 years, it is known that one way to extend the life of fishing floats is to periodically replace the float covers with new ones. Since the float cover replacement work is performed at sea, the float cover replacement work is not only highly dangerous but also requires a lot of labor, resulting in high maintenance costs. <4> One possible method for improving the durability of the float cover is to increase the basis weight of the fiber fabric. Increasing the basis weight of the fiber fabric makes the fabric thicker and harder, improving the durability of the float cover, but it also makes it harder to attach the float cover to the float body, so there is a limit to how much the basis weight of the fiber fabric can be increased. <5> Fishing floats made from sealed containers do not have the problem of polystyrene foam fragments leaking out, but they are three to five times more expensive than conventional floats, which not only places a heavy economic burden on the economy, but also poses problems such as the low coefficient of friction caused by the hard resin, which means the attachment ropes slip when securing them to the raft, making them difficult to attach.
[0006] The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and an object of the present invention is to provide a fishing float that can solve the above problems. [Means for solving the problem]
[0007] The present invention provides a fishing float comprising a cylindrical float body made of foamed resin having a pair of end faces and an outer peripheral surface, and a split float cover made of fiber resin that covers the peripheral surface of the float body, wherein the split float cover is fitted over one end face of the float body and comprises a lid bag having a bottomed structure that has a side surface that covers one end face of the float body and a cylindrical surface that covers part of the outer peripheral surface of the float body, and a front cover that is fitted over the other end face of the float body and The float body is composed of a main body bag having a bottomed structure with a tubular surface portion and a side surface portion that covers the other end face of the float body and a tubular surface portion that covers part of the outer peripheral surface of the float body, and an excess covering portion made of multiple layers of fiber fabric is formed on the opening side of the tubular surface portion of the main body bag, and the entire surface of the float body is covered by cooperation between the lid bag that is first attached to one end face side of the float body and the main body bag that is attached to the other end face side of the float body, including the lid bag. In another embodiment of the present invention, the overall length of the cylindrical surface portion of the main body bag excluding the excess covering portion is equal to the overall length of the float main body. In another form of the present invention, a tie string for fixing the main body bag to the float body is inserted into the excess covering portion of the main body bag so that it can be tightened, and by tightening the tie string, the excess covering portion of the main body bag is narrowed and the opening of the main body bag is sealed. In another embodiment of the present invention, a plurality of anchoring holes are formed at intervals in the excess length covering portion of the main bag, and the pulled-out portion of the tie string that is hung across the plurality of anchoring holes is fastened and fixed. In another embodiment of the present invention, a V-shaped adjustment slit is formed in the peripheral edge of the excess covering portion of the main bag along the transverse direction of the excess covering portion. In another embodiment of the present invention, the lid bag may have a fixing string attached to a part of the cylindrical surface, and the fixing string may be wound around the outer peripheral surface of the float body to fix the lid bag. [Effects of the Invention]
[0008] The present invention has at least one of the following advantages. <1> In conventional fishing floats, it has been difficult to achieve both the ability to cover the float body with the covering cover and the durability of the covering cover. In contrast, in the present invention, the split float cover is constructed from a separate and independent lid bag and main body bag, so that even if the split float cover is made from a fiber fabric with a high basis weight, the lid bag and main body bag complement each other and cover the float body. Therefore, it is possible to achieve both ease of installation of the float body using the split float cover and durability of the split cover. <2> By using a highly durable fiber fabric for the split float cover and by sealing the lid bag and main bag that make up the split float cover, it is possible to significantly extend the service life (durable life) of fishing floats compared to conventional methods. <3> Since a conventional float body made of inexpensive foamed resin is used without using a sealed resin container, the fishing float can be produced economically. <4> When fixing the main bag to the float body, if the tying string is tightened in two stages, the opening of the main bag can be tightly closed. Therefore, the lid bag and main body bag that make up the divided float cover act as a sealed structure to cover the float body, thereby suppressing the generation of marine debris over a long period of time. <5> The cylindrical parts of the lid bag and main bag that make up the split float cover overlap to provide high watertightness, so waves do not get inside the split float cover. As a result, the float body made of foamed resin inside the split float cover is less susceptible to damage, and the life of the float body is extended. [Brief explanation of the drawings]

[0010] The present invention will be described in detail below.
[0011] 1. Overview of fishing floats 1 and 2, a fishing float 10 according to the present invention comprises a float body 20 made of foamed resin, and a split float cover 30 made of imitation fiber that covers the entire periphery of the float body 20.
[0012] 2. Float body The float body 20 is a floating body, and has a pair of circular end faces 20a, 20b at both ends, and a cylindrical outer peripheral surface 20c. The float body 20 can have known dimensions, for example, a diameter of 680 mm and a total length of 1,150 mm. The float body 20 is formed from a foamed resin such as expanded polystyrene (EPS), expanded polypropylene (EPP), or expanded polyethylene (EPE). The float body 20 has one or more annular grooves 21 recessed in its circumferential surface. The float body 20 may be a known commercially available product.
[0013] 3. Split float cover The divided float cover 30 is a divided bag body that can cover the entire circumferential surface of the float body 20, and is composed of a lid bag 31 with a bottomed structure and a main body bag 35 with a bottomed structure. The difference in diameter between the float body 20 and the divided float cover 30 can be selected as appropriate.
[0014] The lid bag 31 has a fixing string 32 for attaching the lid bag 31 to the float body 20, and the main body bag 35 has a tying string 33 for closing the opening of the main body bag 35. The mouth tying string 33 of the main bag 35 is essential, but the fixing string 32 of the lid bag 31 is not essential and may be omitted.
[0015] <1> The reason for dividing the float body cover into two parts In the present invention, the covering cover of the float body 20 is divided into two bags, a cover bag 31 and a body bag 35. The covering cover of the float body 20 is divided into two parts so that even if the basis weight of the fiber fabric of the covering cover, the lid bag 31 and the body bag 35, is increased to increase the rigidity of the fiber fabric, the lid bag 31 and the body bag 35 complement each other and completely seal the entire float body 20.
[0016] <2> Split float cover material The lid bag 31 and the main bag 35 that constitute the divided float cover 30 are made of woven fiber fabric with a high basis weight. The fiber fabric may be a single fabric or a laminate of multiple fabrics. The basis weight of the woven fabric in the present invention is set to be higher than that of the fiber fabric of the conventional float cover, but the specific basis weight can be selected appropriately.
[0017] The woven fabric material of the divided float cover 30 may be a woven fabric material made of flat yarns, such as polyethylene or polypropylene, which has excellent weather resistance and water resistance and contains a weather resistant agent. By using the above-mentioned material that is resistant to deterioration even when exposed to ultraviolet rays for the woven fiber fabric of the split float cover 30, the service life can be extended to 5 to 8 years, more than two years longer than conventional products.
[0018] In the present invention, the float body 20 can be completely covered by applying the following detailed measures to the cover bag 31 and the body bag 35.
[0019] <3> lid bag The lid bag 31 is a bag body for covering one end face 20a of the float body 20 and part of the outer peripheral surface 20c of the float body 20, and is equipped with a side surface portion 31a that can cover one end face 20a of the float body 20, and a cylindrical surface portion 31b that can cover part of the outer peripheral surface 20c of the float body 20. The total length of the cylindrical surface portion 31b may be selected as appropriate, but it does not exceed half the total length (axial length) of the float body 20 at its longest.
[0020] <3.1> Fixing string The lid bag 31 has a fixing string 32, and the lid bag 31 is fixed to the float body 20 via the fixing string 32. The fixing string 32 has a length that allows it to be wound around the outer peripheral surface 20c of the float body 20, and is attached near the opening of the cylindrical surface portion 31b.
[0021] <4> Main body bag The main body bag 35 is a bag body for covering the entire float body 20, including the lid bag 31, and is equipped with a side surface portion 35a that can cover the other end surface 20b of the float body 20, and a cylindrical surface portion 35b that can cover the outer peripheral surface 20c of the float body 20. The overall length of the cylindrical surface portion 35b is longer than the overall length (axial length) of the float body 20. The overall length of the cylindrical surface portion 35b excluding the excess covering portion 35c, which will be described next, is approximately the same as the overall length of the float body 20.
[0022] <4.1> Excess length covering part The cylindrical surface portion 35b constituting the main bag 35 has an excess length covering portion 35c formed on the opening side thereof. The excess length covering portion 35c is a portion formed by doubling or overlapping the fiber fabric, and has both the function of passing the mouth tying string 33 through and the function of covering a portion of one end surface 20a of the float body 20 in cooperation with the end surface portion 31a of the lid bag 31. The extension length of the excess covering portion 35c is selected appropriately.
[0023] <4.1.1>Through holes The excess covering portion 35c is formed by folding back the fiber fabric multiple times, and a circular through-hole 36 is formed inside. The through hole 36 functions as a guide hole for inserting the mouth tying string 33 into the excess length covering portion 35c.
[0024] <4.1.2> Adjustment slits and mooring holes Furthermore, a V-shaped adjustment slit 37 and a plurality of anchoring holes 38 are formed at predetermined intervals on the peripheral edge of the excess length covering portion 35c.
[0025] The adjustment slit 37 is an opening for facilitating narrowing of the excess covering portion 35c when covering one end surface 20a of the float body 20. By providing the V-shaped adjustment slit 37 along the transverse direction of the excess covering portion 35c, the ability to squeeze the excess covering portion 35c can be improved. The amount of radial "wrinkles" that are formed when the fiber fabric of the excess covering portion 35c is folded in an accordion-like shape increases in proportion to the number of adjustment slits 37 and the opening angle thereof. The number and opening angle of the adjustment slits 37 are appropriately selected taking into consideration the overall length of the excess covering portion 35c and the like.
[0026] The mooring hole 38 is a hole for mooring the mouth tying string 33 in a polygonal shape and tightening the excess length covering portion 35c. In this example, two anchoring holes 38 are formed at positions equally spaced apart from the adjustment slit 37 to anchor the mouth tie string 33 in an equilateral triangle shape, but three or more anchoring holes 38 may be provided in the excess length covering portion 35c.
[0027] <4.2> Mouth tying cord The mouth-tying string 33 is a string for closing the excess length covering portion 35c, which is the opening of the main bag 35. The mouth tying string 33 is inserted into a through hole 36 of the excess length covering portion 35c so as to be able to be tightened. The entire length of the mouth tying string 33 is dimensioned to be able to be inserted through the through-hole 36 and be anchored across the multiple anchoring holes 38. In practice, the total length of the mouth tying string 33 is 4 m.
[0028] [How to assemble a fishing float] A method for assembling the fishing float 10 will be described with reference to FIGS.
[0029] <1> First install the lid bag (Fig. 2, 3) The cover bag 31 is placed on one side of the float body 20 and attached first.
[0030] <1.1> Exterior of the lid bag A cover bag 31 is fitted onto one side of the float body 20. By covering the float body 20 with the cover bag 31, the end surface portion 31a and the cylindrical surface portion 31b of the cover bag 31 cover one end surface 20a and part of the outer peripheral surface 20c of the float body 20. By attaching the cover bag 31, the other end surface 20b and most of the outer peripheral surface 20c of the float body 20 remain exposed.
[0031] <1.2> Fixing the lid bag with a fixing string The fixing string 32 is wound around the cylindrical surface portion 31b of the lid bag 31 and tied to fix the lid bag 31 to the float body 20. If the fixing position by the fixing string 32 is aligned with the annular groove 21 of the float body 20, the effect of preventing the lid bag 31 from slipping out is increased.
[0032] <2> Rear installation of the main bag (Fig. 1, 4) Next, after the main body bag 35 is fitted onto the other side of the float body 20, the opening of the main body bag 35 is closed with the tie string 33, thereby completing the assembly of the fishing float 10. The exterior work of the main bag 35 and the work of closing the opening of the main bag 35 with the tie string 33 will be described in detail below.
[0033] <2.1> Exterior of the main bag The main body bag 35 is fitted onto the other end face 20b side of the float main body 20. By attaching the main body bag 35 as an exterior, the cylindrical surface portion 35b of the main body bag 35 straddles and covers both the outer peripheral surface 20c of the float body 20 and the cylindrical surface portion 31b of the cover bag 31.
[0034] Since the total length of the main body bag 35 is longer than the total length of the float body 20, when the entire float body 20 including the lid bag 31 is contained within the main body bag 35, the excess covering portion 35c formed on the cylindrical portion 35b of the main body bag 35 protrudes sideways from the float body 20. Inside the extra length covering portion 35c extending from the side of the float body 20, the end surface portion 31a of the lid bag 31 is exposed.
[0035] <2.2> Fixing the main bag with the tying string The opening of the main bag 35 is closed using a tie string 33 to fix the main bag 35 to the float body 20. To secure the main bag 35 to the float body 20, the tying string 33 may be tightened in two stages as described below, or it may be secured by tightening it only once.
[0036] <2.2.1> First tightening operation using the tying cord (Fig. 5) The mouth-tying string 33 inserted into the excess covering portion 35c of the main bag 35 is tightened. By tightening the tying string 33, the fiber fabric of the excess covering portion 35c is pulled toward the center (centripetal direction) of the excess covering portion 35c and is thereby squeezed. As the excess covering portion 35c is narrowed, the main bag 35 is pulled toward the opening side, and the main bag 35 fits onto the outer peripheral surface of the float body 20.
[0037] As the excess covering portion 35c is narrowed, the V-shaped adjustment slit 37 formed in part of the excess covering portion 35c gradually closes. In the present invention, even if the fiber fabric of the main bag 35 is made thicker by increasing the basis weight of the fiber fabric, the excess covering portion 35c can be smoothly narrowed by forming a V-shaped adjustment slit 37 in a part of the excess covering portion 35c.
[0038] In this way, by tightening the mouth tie string 33, the excess covering portion 35c of the main bag 35 is narrowed to reduce its diameter, and the annular excess covering portion 35c presses against and covers the outer edge of the end surface portion 31a of the lid bag 31.
[0039] The excess covering portion 35c on the opening side of the main bag 35 cannot completely close the opening, and an annular space remains inside the excess covering portion 35c. Even if an annular space remains inside the excess covering portion 35c, the end surface portion 31a of the lid bag 31 attached earlier is positioned inside the excess covering portion 35c of the main bag 35, sealing off the annular space inside the long covering portion 35c. In this way, one end surface 20a of the float body 20 is covered by the end surface portion 31a of the cover bag 31 and the excess length covering portion 35c of the main body bag 35 that is narrowed into an annular shape.
[0040] <2.2.2> Second tightening operation using the tying cord (Figure 6) In the present invention, the pulled-out portion of the tying string 33 pulled out from the excess length covering portion 35c is anchored in an anchoring hole 38 opened in the excess length covering portion 35c, and then the tying string 33 is re-tightened.
[0041] When the pulled-out portions of the triangularly arranged closing strings 33 are tightened again, the fiber fabric of the excess covering portion 35c is further drawn toward the center (centripetal direction) of the excess covering portion 35c. When two anchoring holes 38 are provided in the excess length covering portion 35c, the excess length covering portion 35c is pulled in at three points.
[0042] The second tightening operation of the mouth tying string 33 further tightens the excess length covering portion 35c that has been tightened in the first tightening operation.
[0043] In particular, when tightening the mouth-tying string 33 for the second time, not only the fiber fabric of the excess covering portion 35c but also the mouth-tying string 33 inserted into the excess covering portion 35c is pulled in together, making it possible to tightly close the opening of the main bag 35. Even if the stiffness of the fiber fabric of the main bag 35 is somewhat high, the extra length covering portion 35c can be tightly squeezed by performing two tightening operations with the mouth tying string 33.
[0044] By firmly tightening the excess covering portion 35c of the main body bag 35 with the mouth tying string 33, the tubular surface portion 35b of the main body bag 35 is pressed against the tubular surface portion 31b of the lid bag 31 that covers the outer peripheral surface of the float body 20, thereby sealing the circumferential surfaces of the two tubular surface portions 31b, 35b. Therefore, the cover bag body 31 and the main bag 35 each form an independent, completely sealed structure. In other words, not only can water be completely prevented from entering the lid bag body 31 and the main body bag 35, but also fragments of the float body 20 that are generated inside the lid bag body 31 or the main body bag 35 can be reliably prevented from leaking out.
[0045] The fishing float 10 completed in this way is used by being assembled in aquaculture facilities such as shellfish farming or fish farming rafts.
[0046] As mentioned above in the "Prior Art" section, when a fishing float is made of a sealed container made of hard resin, the coefficient of friction is low, and the attachment rope slips when securing it to a raft, making it difficult to attach. In the fishing float 10 of the present invention, the outer surface of the float body 20 is covered with a divided float cover 30 made of a fiber fabric that has a higher coefficient of friction than hard resin, so problems that occur with fishing floats made of hard resin do not occur.
[0047] [Other characteristics of fishing floats] The fishing float 10 according to the present invention has the following characteristics in addition to those already described.
[0048] <1> Sealing performance of split float cover In the present invention, even if the lid bag 31 and main bag 35 that make up the divided float cover 30 are made of a fiber fabric with a high basis weight, the lid bag 31 can complementarily seal the unsealed area on the opening side by the main bag 35. Therefore, even if the float body 20 inside the divided float cover 30 is broken, the divided float cover 30 seals the broken pieces of the float body 20 and reliably prevents the broken pieces from leaking out. When foamed resin such as polystyrene foam is used for the float body 20, the generation of marine litter can be suppressed, and environmental pollution problems can be prevented before they occur.
[0049] <2> Water ingress prevention with split float cover For example, if the cover bag 31 is omitted and the float body 20 is covered only by the main body bag 35, it is difficult to completely close the opening side of the main body bag 35. If the main bag 35 is used with the opening on the opening side left as it is, waves will hit the float body 20 directly through the unsealed portion, making it prone to being broken.
[0050] In contrast to this, in the present invention, the cover bag 31 and the main body bag 35 cooperate to form a sealed structure, which covers the entire float body 20. Therefore, the divided float cover 30 can reliably prevent waves from entering the interior of the divided float cover 30, and can effectively prevent the float body 20 from being broken up due to wave force.
[0051] <3> Protection of the opening side of the split float cover As described above, by increasing the basis weight of the fiber fabric forming the divided float cover 30, the protective performance for the float body 20 is improved. In particular, even when the opening side of the main body bag 35 is open, one end face 20a of the float body 20 is firmly protected by a laminated structure consisting of the excess covering portion 35c of the main body bag 35, which is made of multiple layers of fiber fabric, and the end face portion 31a of the lid bag 31. Therefore, the opening side of the main bag 35 does not become a weak point in terms of strength.
[0052] <4> Service life In the present invention, two durability factors, namely, improved durability due to the fiber fabric of the split float cover 30 and improved durability of the float body 20 due to the multi-coating structure of the split float cover 30, make it possible to significantly extend the service life (durable life) of the fishing float 10 compared to conventional methods.
[0053] <5> Regarding the replacement of the split float cover The split float cover 30 may be periodically replaced with a new one. When replacing the split float cover 30, the fishing float 10 is removed from the protection facility. After removing the fishing float 10, the main bag 35 and the lid bag 31 constituting the divided float cover 30 are removed in that order in the reverse order of the assembly work, and replaced with new lid bag 31 and main bag 35. As described above, in the present invention, the service life (durable life) of the fishing float 10 is longer than in the conventional case, so that if the fishing float 10 is used over a long period of time while replacing the split float cover 30, the number of times the split float cover 30 needs to be replaced can be reduced, thereby improving the maintainability of the fishing float 10.
