Abstract
Description
[Technical Field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a spirit level capable of measuring a plurality of different gradients. [Background technology]
[0002] With regard to this type of spirit level, the applicant has previously proposed spirit levels disclosed in Patent Documents 1 and 2 (hereinafter referred to as "conventional examples").
[0003] These conventional examples consist of a bundle of multiple bubble tube holding members, each holding a bubble tube at a different predetermined inclination angle, and a container provided with a measurement reference surface. The container is rotated around its axis to select a bubble tube with an appropriate inclination angle (gradient), and the measurement reference surface corresponding to this bubble tube is brought into contact with the surface to be measured, thereby making it possible to measure the inclination (gradient) of the surface to be measured. [0004] [Patent Document 1] Patent No. 5031015 Publication [Patent Document 2] Patent No. 5442059 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0005] In the conventional example, the housing body is an aluminum extrusion molded product, and this aluminum extrusion molded housing body is formed into a predetermined shape by stretching the soft aluminum immediately after extrusion molding, so a large dimensional tolerance is allowed (approximately ±0.2 mm to ±0.3 mm).
[0006] Therefore, if it is formed on the negative side (the side that is smaller than the standard dimension), it will be difficult to insert a bundle of high-precision bubble tube holding members (bubble tube holding members on which the bubble tubes are arranged) into the container during assembly, and if it is forced into place, the bubble tube holding member will rub against the container and be worn down, which will change the inclination of the bubble tube relative to the measurement reference surface of the container and cause the measurement accuracy to be affected, which may result in the bubble tube losing its commercial value as a spirit level.
[0007] The present invention has been made in view of the current situation, and aims to provide a spirit level in which bundled bubble tube holding members can be smoothly inserted into the container even when the container is formed smaller than the standard dimensions, thereby preventing the product value from being impaired. [0022] A preferred embodiment of the present invention will be briefly described below, illustrating the operation of the present invention with reference to the drawings.
[0023] In the present invention, when a plurality of bubble tube holding members 2 holding bubble tubes 1 are bundled, the bubble tube holding members 2 are configured to be able to move towards and away from adjacent bubble tube holding members 2.Therefore, even if the container 3 is formed smaller than the standard dimensions and it is difficult to insert the bundled bubble tube holding members 2 into the container 3, by bringing the bubble tube holding members 2 closer to each other and reducing their outer diameter, the bubble tube holding members 2 can be smoothly inserted into the container 3 without coming into contact with the container 3.
[0024] Therefore, when the bundled bubble tube holding members 2 are placed in the container 3, it is possible to prevent the bubble tube holding members 2 from rubbing against the container 3 and being worn down, thereby preventing errors in measurement accuracy.
[0025] In the present invention, the outer diameter of the bundled bubble tube holding members 2 means the diameter of the circumscribed circle of the bundled bubble tube holding members 2. [Example]
[0026] Specific embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0027] This embodiment is a level (slope level) that has a plurality of bubble tube holding members 2 that hold bubble tubes 1 at different predetermined inclinations, and a container 3 that stores the plurality of bubble tube holding members 2 in a bundle, and is capable of measuring a plurality of different gradients.
[0028] Specifically, in this embodiment, when the bubble tube holding members 2 are bundled, the bubble tube holding members 2 are configured to be able to move towards and away from adjacent bubble tube holding members 2, and the outer diameter of the bundled bubble tube holding members 2, specifically the diameter (diameter) of the circumscribed circle of the bundled bubble tube holding members 2, is configured to expand and contract.
[0029] In this embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, three vials 1 are held in different inclined positions by three vial holders 2, thereby forming a level capable of measuring three different gradients. However, the level in this embodiment is not limited to the above configuration. For example, it may be configured as a level as disclosed in Patent Documents 1 and 2, in which six vials are held in different inclined positions by three vial holders 2, two at a time, thereby being able to measure six different gradients, or as shown in FIG. 11, in which five vials 1 are held in different inclined positions by five vial holders 2, thereby being able to measure five different gradients.
[0030] Each component of this embodiment will be described in detail below.
[0031] Each vial 1 is a known vial consisting of a cylindrical container filled with liquid and bubbles.
[0032] As shown in Figures 2 and 3, the bubble tube holding member 2 is a case body 2' capable of storing a bubble tube 1, and is provided with an opening 11 for making the bubble tube 1 visible when stored, an abutment portion 4 for maintaining the bubble tube 1 in a predetermined inclined position, a joint portion 5 for combining the case bodies 2' in a bundle so that they can move toward and away from each other, and a positioning portion 12 for determining the position of the case body 2' in the longitudinal direction (insertion direction) of the container 3 when the bundled case bodies 2' are stored in the container 3.
[0033] Specifically, the contact portions 4 are provided at both longitudinal ends of the case body 2', and the two contact portions 4 are provided at different horizontal positions.
[0034] More specifically, as shown in Figure 3, the abutment portion 4 consists of the bottom surface of the recessed portion of the case body 2' in which the vial 1 is stored. In this embodiment, the thickness of this bottom surface (abutment portion 4) is made different at both longitudinal ends, resulting in a bottom surface (abutment portion 4) with different horizontal positions. When the vial 1 is stored in the recessed portion, as shown in Figure 4, the end of the vial 1 abuts against this bottom surface (abutment portion 4), and it is configured to be in a predetermined inclined state (in this embodiment, there are three types: horizontal, 1 / 50 gradient, and 1 / 100 gradient).
[0035] The joints 5 are configured as comb-like portions 5 in which a plurality of convex portions 6 and concave portions 7 are alternately arranged, and are provided on both sides (both edges along the longitudinal direction) of the case body 2'.
[0036] In other words, in this embodiment, the convex portions 6 and concave portions 7 of the comb-tooth-shaped portions 5 are cross-engaged so that they alternately mesh with the convex portions 6 and concave portions 7 of the comb-tooth-shaped portions 5 provided on adjacent case bodies 2', thereby combining the case bodies 2' into a bundle that cannot slide, and further, depending on the depth of the cross-engagement of the comb-tooth-shaped portions 5 of the case bodies 2', the amount of movement of the case body 2' toward or away from the adjacent case bodies 2' (the distance between the case bodies 2') can be varied, thereby allowing the outer diameter of the case bodies 2' combined into a bundle to expand or contract.
[0037] Specifically, as shown in Figure 5, the degree of depth of the interlocking engagement between the comb-tooth-shaped portions 5 of the case bodies 2' becomes evenly (including approximately evenly) deep, resulting in a reduced state (the state on the left side in the figure) in which the diameter (caliber) of the circumscribing circle of the case bodies 2' combined in a bundle becomes smaller, and the degree of depth of the interlocking engagement between the comb-tooth-shaped portions 5 of the case bodies 2' becomes evenly (including approximately evenly) shallow, resulting in an enlarged state (the state on the right side in the figure) in which the diameter (caliber) of the circumscribing circle of the case bodies 2' combined in a bundle becomes larger.
[0038] In addition, this embodiment has a biasing member 8 that biases the comb-tooth-shaped portions 5 of the case bodies 2' combined in a bundle in a direction that decreases the degree of depth of the cross-engagement, and is configured so that the expanded state of the case bodies 2' combined in a bundle is maintained by this biasing member 8.
[0039] Specifically, the biasing member 8 is disposed in a space 9 formed in the gap between the case bodies 2' combined in a bundle, and is configured to abut against the intersecting engagement portion of the comb-tooth-shaped portion 5, biasing in a direction that shallows the degree of depth of the intersecting engagement between the comb-tooth-shaped portions 5, thereby preventing the diameter of the case bodies 2' combined in a bundle from decreasing.
[0040] Furthermore, each comb-tooth-shaped portion 5 is configured to cross-engage with another comb-tooth-shaped portion 5 only when the width dimensions of the protrusions 6 and recesses 7 or the arrangement of the protrusions 6 and recesses 7 are different and the case bodies 2' are arranged in a predetermined orientation and in a predetermined position. In other words, if the case bodies 2' are oriented in the wrong direction or in the wrong position, the comb-tooth-shaped portions 5 of adjacent case bodies 2' cannot engage with each other, and the incorrect orientation or arrangement is detected, allowing the case bodies 2' to be combined into a bundle in the correct combination.
[0041] Specifically, in this embodiment, the three case bodies 2' are called case body 2'a, case body 2'b, and case body 2'c, respectively, and the comb-tooth-shaped portion 5 on one side of each case body 2' is called comb-tooth-shaped portion 5a, and the comb-tooth-shaped portion 5 on the other side is called comb-tooth-shaped portion 5b. As shown in Figure 6, the comb-tooth-shaped portions 5a and 5b of case body 2'a, the comb-tooth-shaped portions 5a and 5b of case body 2'b, and the comb-tooth-shaped portions 5a and 5b of case body 2'c all have different configurations, and the comb-tooth-shaped portion 5a of case body 2'a engages only with the comb-tooth-shaped portion 5b of case body 2'c, the comb-tooth-shaped portion 5b of case body 2'a engages only with the comb-tooth-shaped portion 5a of case body 2'b, and the comb-tooth-shaped portion 5b of case body 2'b engages only with the comb-tooth-shaped portion 5a of case body 2'c.
[0042] Furthermore, as described above, when combining case bodies 2' in a predetermined orientation and at a predetermined position, a means for determining the orientation of case body 2' is required. In this embodiment, as shown in the figure, the positioning portions 12 provided at both longitudinal ends of case body 2' are made different in shape, so that the orientation of case body 2' can be determined.
[0043] In this embodiment, as described above, the orientation is determined by changing the shape of the positioning portion 12, but instead of changing the shape, it may be colored with a different color. Also, a determination means (orientation determination portion) separate from the positioning portion 12 may be added.
[0044] Furthermore, the case body 2' of this embodiment is provided with an identifier 10 that identifies it as a case body 2' in which the bubble tube 1 is held in a predetermined inclined position.
[0045] Specifically, in this embodiment, an identifier 10 is provided on the case body 2' that holds the vial 1 horizontally, and the horizontal position can be identified by visually checking this identifier 10.When the bundled case bodies 2' are inserted and stored in the container 3, the case body 2' with this identifier 10 is placed in a predetermined position in the container 3, so that each vial 1 can be positioned according to the gradient indicated on the container 3.
[0046] In this embodiment, as shown in Figures 2 and 6, one side of the positioning portion 12 is colored, and this colored positioning portion 12 is configured as the identifier 10, but the configuration of the identifier 10 is not limited to this.
[0047] The container 3 is made of metal and is formed in a triangular tubular shape that roughly matches the shape of the case bodies 2' combined in a bundle.
[0048] Specifically, the container 3 of this embodiment is an aluminum extrusion molded product, and as shown in the figure, a measurement reference surface 13 with a V-groove is provided on each of the three side surfaces.
[0049] As shown in FIG. 2, the container 3 has a window 14 formed at the top above the measurement reference surface 13 when the measurement reference surface 13 is facing downwards, which allows the vial 1 to be seen. Furthermore, a gradient display 15 is provided near the window 14, which shows the measurement gradient of the vial 1 as seen through the window 14.
[0050] In addition, a magnet 17 is provided inside the blocking member 16 that blocks the front and rear openings of the container 3, and if the surface to be measured is a magnetic material, this magnet 17 is configured to attract (magnetically attract) the container 3 (measurement reference surface 13) to the surface to be measured.
[0051] Furthermore, one side of the closing member 16 of the container 3 is provided with a vial 18 for measuring verticality.
[0052] That is, this embodiment is configured to be able to measure two types of gradients (1 / 50 gradient, 1 / 100 gradient) in the horizontal and vertical directions.
[0053] A method for manufacturing (assembling) the spirit level according to this embodiment configured as above will now be described.
[0054] First, as shown in FIG. 7(a), the vial 1 is fitted into each case body 2'.
[0055] Next, as shown in Figure 7(b), the orientation of each case body 2' is aligned based on the positioning portion 12, which also serves as a direction discriminator for the case body 2' incorporating (holding) the bubble tube 1, and the shape of the comb-tooth portion 5 is confirmed to align the position (combined position) of the case body 2'.
[0056] Subsequently, as shown in FIG. 7(c), the comb-tooth-shaped portions 5 of the case bodies 2' aligned in a predetermined direction and at a predetermined position are cross-engaged to combine the case bodies 2' into a bundle.
[0057] At this time, the case bodies 2' combined in a bundle are combined so that the degree of depth of the cross-engagement of the comb-tooth-shaped portions 5 of the case bodies 2' is increased, and the case bodies 2' combined in a bundle are put into a reduced state.
[0058] Next, as shown in Figure 8(d), first, a closure member 16 is attached to the opening on the side opposite the insertion side of the extruded aluminum housing 3, and then the bundled, contracted case body 2' is inserted into the housing 3. At this time, the axial direction of the case body 2' is aligned based on the identifier 10, and the case body 2' is inserted until the rear positioning portion 12 abuts against the closure member 16, thereby placing the case body 2' in a predetermined position. In addition, in the case of this embodiment, the identifier 10 is attached to the case body 2' that holds the vial 1 horizontally, and therefore the case body 2' with the identifier 10 attached is inserted so that it is housed in the position where the gradient indicator 15, which indicates horizontality, is provided.
[0059] As described above, the case body 2' is assembled in a bundle in a compacted state, so that the case body 2' can be easily inserted into the container 3, and is stored with a gap between the case body 2' and the container 3, as shown in Figure 9.
[0060] Subsequently, as shown in FIG. 8(e), the biasing member 8 is inserted into the space 9 formed between the case bodies 2' combined in a bundle.
[0061] By inserting and arranging this biasing member 8, as shown in Figure 10, the biasing member 8 abuts against the intersecting engagement portion of each comb-tooth-shaped portion 5, biasing in the direction of decreasing the degree of depth of the intersecting engagement between the comb-tooth-shaped portions 5, and the case body 2', which is combined in a bundle in a reduced state, becomes an expanded state in which the degree of depth of the intersecting engagement between the comb-tooth-shaped portions 5 is decreased.
[0062] When the bundled case bodies 2' are expanded, as shown in Figure 10, the case bodies 2' are pressed against the inner surface of the container 3 and are properly positioned, and the bubble tubes 1 held by the case bodies 2' are each inclined as specified, ensuring measurement accuracy.
[0063] Next, as shown in FIG. 8(f), a blocking member 16 is provided at the insertion side opening of the container 3, thereby completing the assembly.
[0064] The effects of the present embodiment configured as above will be described below.
[0065] In this embodiment, the convex portions 6 and concave portions 7 of the comb-tooth-shaped portions 5 on one case body 2' are cross-engaged to mesh with the convex portions 6 and concave portions 7 of the comb-tooth-shaped portions 5 on an adjacent case body 2', thereby combining the case bodies 2' in a bundle that cannot slide. Furthermore, the amount of movement of a case body 2' toward or away from adjacent case bodies 2' (the distance between the case bodies 2') varies depending on the depth of the cross-engagement of the comb-tooth-shaped portions 5 of the case bodies 2', thereby allowing the outer diameter of the case bodies 2' combined in a bundle to expand or contract. Therefore, even if the container body 3 obtained by aluminum extrusion molding is formed smaller than the standard dimensions and the bundled case bodies 2' are difficult to insert into the container body 3, by increasing the depth of the cross-engagement of the comb-tooth-shaped portions 5 and combining the case bodies 2' in a bundle in a reduced state where the outer diameter is smaller, the case bodies 2' can be smoothly inserted and arranged in the container body 3 without coming into contact with the container body 3.
[0066] Therefore, when the bundled case bodies 2' are placed in the container 3, it is possible to prevent the case bodies 2' from rubbing against the container 3 and being scraped off, thereby preventing the occurrence of errors in measurement accuracy.
[0067] In addition, several types of biasing members 8 are provided with different sizes, and the size of the biasing members 8 allows the enlarged state of the bundled case bodies 2' to be different sizes. For example, even if the container body 3 is formed larger than the standard dimensions, the container body 3 can be pressed against the container body 3 and stored in a positioned state.
[0068] In this embodiment, the expansion and contraction of the case bodies 2' combined in a bundle is not limited to an equal change in the degree of depth of the cross-engagement between the comb-tooth-shaped portions 5 of each case body 2', but also includes a change in the degree of depth of the cross-engagement between the comb-tooth-shaped portions 5 of one case body 2' and the comb-tooth-shaped portions 5 of another case body 2'.
[0069] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the comb-tooth-shaped portions 5 provided on each case body 2' are configured to cross-engage with the comb-tooth-shaped portions 5 of adjacent case bodies 2' only when the width dimensions of the convex portions 6 and concave portions 7, or the arrangement of the convex portions 6 and concave portions 7, are different and the case bodies 2' are arranged in a predetermined orientation and position. Therefore, if the orientation of the case bodies 2' is reversed or the position (arrangement) is incorrect, the comb-tooth-shaped portions 5 of adjacent case bodies 2' cannot engage with each other, and the incorrect orientation or arrangement can be noticed, allowing the case bodies 2' to be combined into a bundle in the correct combination.
[0070] In this way, in this embodiment, even if the container 3 is formed to be smaller than the standard dimensions, the bundled case bodies 2' can be smoothly inserted into the container 3 by changing the outer diameter of the bundled case bodies 2'.Furthermore, after insertion, the bundled case bodies 2' are expanded by the biasing member 8, and the case bodies 2' are placed in a proper container state in which they abut against the inner surface of the container 3, thereby ensuring the measurement accuracy of the bubble tube 1.
[0071] Furthermore, this embodiment is configured to include a plurality of different sized biasing members 8, and the size of the biasing members 8 allows the bundled case bodies 2' to be expanded to different sizes. As a result, even if the container 3 is formed larger than the standard dimensions, the case bodies 2' can be placed in an appropriate container state in which they abut against the inner surface of the container 3, thereby ensuring the measurement accuracy of the bubble tube 1.
[0072] Furthermore, in this embodiment, since there is no possibility of mismatching the case bodies 2', assembly is easy, concerns about conventional assembly work are eliminated, and the level is highly practical and does not impair its commercial value.
[0073] The present invention is not limited to the present embodiment, and the specific configuration of each component can be designed as appropriate. [Explanation of symbols]
