Description

[Technical Field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a charging connection device for an electrically driven vehicle having two charging connections. [Background technology]

[0002] Patent Document 1 discloses a charging connection device for an electrically driven vehicle that includes two charging connections arranged next to each other, a first DC charging connection and a second DC and / or AC charging connection. The charging connection device further includes at least one charging connection cover that covers at least one of the two charging connections. In this case, the charging connection cover is designed so that only one of the two charging connections is accessible for contact, while the other of the two charging connections is covered by the charging connection cover.

[0003] According to the prior art, an electric vehicle requires a unique charging connection for each charging standard, so that if there are two charging possibilities with different standards, the vehicle is also provided with two charging connections.

[0004] For example, the charging standard currently used in Europe is the so-called Combined Charging System (CCS), which allows charging with both direct and alternating current. Another standard, CHAdeMO (Charge de Move), developed in Japan, offers a charging output of up to 50 kW. If the alternative or future charging standard has an output of several hundred kilowatts or more, even at least 1 megawatt or more, a separate charging connection, particularly a DC voltage terminal, corresponding to the alternative plug standard will be provided. Multiple charging connections can be electrically connected to one electrical path, thereby allowing multiple charging sockets to be under voltage simultaneously. [0005] [Patent Document 1] DE102021000307A1 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0006] SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide an improved charging connection device for an electrically driven vehicle with two charging connections. [Means for solving the problem]

[0007] The above problem is solved by the features of the independent claims.

[0008] Advantageous embodiments and advantages of the invention emerge from the further claims, the description and the drawings.

[0009] According to one aspect of the present invention, a charging connection device for an electrically driven vehicle is provided, the charging connection device including at least one charging connection designed as a combined DC / AC charging connection having an AC contact element and a DC contact element. The charging connection device further includes a cover assembly having a covered position and at least two open positions, each of which corresponds to a charging mode. The cover assembly includes at least one movably mounted cover element, which is movable between the covered position and the at least one open position. In a first open position of the cover assembly, the AC contact element of the DC / AC charging connection is open, and the DC contact element of the DC / AC charging connection is covered by at least one of the cover elements. In a second open position of the cover assembly, the AC contact element of the DC / AC charging connection and the DC / AC contact element are open. In the covered position of the cover assembly, the charging connection is covered by the at least one cover element.

[0010] In the following, a charging connection is understood to be a device, such as a charging socket, that is electrically connected to an energy storage device and can be electrically connected to a corresponding plug that is electrically connected to a voltage source. In the connected state, the energy storage device of the electrically driven vehicle is charged by the voltage source. The charging connection has contact elements in the form of a plug-in surface, and the plug has a plug-in surface with contact elements that are arranged in line with the contact elements of the charging connection. The two charging connections differ in the arrangement and / or design of the contact elements.

[0011] The combined DC / AC charging connection can be designed, in particular, as a CCS charging connection with two types of contact elements. In this case, the AC contact element can form a first plug-in surface that can be coupled to a plug-in surface of a plug with a corresponding contact element to charge the vehicle or its energy storage with AC in AC charging mode. The DC contact element forms a second plug-in surface. A plug coupled to the combined DC / AC charging connection has two plug-in surfaces that can be coupled to the two plug-in surfaces of the combined DC / AC charging connection to charge the vehicle or its energy storage with DC in DC charging mode.

[0012] Instead of at least one combined DC / AC charging connection, combined charging connections for two different plug standards, each designed for DC or AC, can also be arranged in the charging connection device. In this case, the DC contact elements are understood as contact elements for the first plug standard, and the AC contact elements are understood as contact elements for the second plug standard. In that case, the DC charging mode corresponds to charging according to the first charging standard, and the AC charging mode corresponds to charging according to the second charging standard, respectively for DC or AC.

[0013] Each charging connection or contact element not required for the current charging mode is mechanically covered by at least one cover element. The opening / closing mechanism can, for example, move the at least one cover element to the covering position after the charging process is completed. Furthermore, when the charging mode is recognized, the opening / closing mechanism can move the cover element to the position assigned to the charging mode. In this case, during the charging process, only the contact elements required for this charging mode are opened. The other contact elements are covered to prevent contact and are protected from environmental influences.

[0014] The cover assembly with at least one movably mounted cover element allows the charging connection device to have substantially three states: in a first state, two plug-in surfaces of the combined DC / AC charging connection are covered; in a second state of the charging connection device, the DC contact element is covered by the at least one cover element, such that in the second state, only the AC contact element of the combined DC / AC charging connection is open for AC charging mode; and in a third state of the charging connection device, both the DC contact element and the AC contact element of the combined DC / AC charging connection are open for DC charging mode.

[0015] These states of the charging connection device allow the charging plug of the charging cable to be coupled to the corresponding contact elements of the charging connection only if other charging connections or unnecessary contact elements are covered by the cover element to prevent contact. This advantageously ensures that unused contact elements that are under voltage are covered to prevent contact during charging of the energy storage device. Furthermore, unused contact elements that are under voltage can be advantageously protected from environmental influences such as dirt and water. In addition, the at least one cover element reliably covers the at least one charging connection when the vehicle is not being charged and is parked or traveling, protecting the at least one charging connection from environmental influences and possible contact.

[0016] According to an advantageous embodiment of the charging connection device, another charging connection can be electrically coupled to the combined DC / AC charging connection, particularly via a common electrical path, and at least one cover element of the cover assembly covers this other charging connection when the cover assembly has the first open position or the second open position or the covered position. Covering the contact elements of the other charging connection ensures that the contact elements are covered during the charging process in AC charging mode or DC charging mode, or while driving or parking, thereby protecting them from contact and environmental influences. By having the two charging connections share a common electrical path, it is sufficient to use only one contactor to connect the electric energy storage device in the electrical architecture of the vehicle's high-voltage onboard electrical system. This saves costs, installation space, and weight compared to a connection using two contactors. When the two charging connections are arranged on a common electrical path, the two charging connections are simultaneously under voltage.

[0017] According to an advantageous embodiment of the charging connection device, in the third open position of the cover assembly, the other charging connection can be opened and the DC / AC charging connection can be covered by at least one cover element. This allows the cover assembly to have a third open position. In the third open position of the cover assembly, the combined DC / AC charging connection or its contact elements are covered by at least one cover element, and the other charging connection or its contact elements are opened. This allows the contact elements of the combined DC / AC charging connection to be covered so as not to be in contact in the charging mode assigned to the other charging connection. By covering the other charging connection in the first and second open positions of the cover assembly and the combined DC / AC charging connection in the third open position, it is advantageous to omit switching one of the charging connections to a voltage-free state. This allows a corresponding switching device, or so-called switch box, to be omitted, thereby saving additional costs and installation space.

[0018] According to an advantageous embodiment of the charging connection device, at least one sensor assembly coupled to the cover assembly can detect a charging mode according to AC or DC. If an AC charging mode is detected, the cover assembly can be moved to a first open position or opened for movement to the first open position by a drive device, such as a servo motor. If a DC charging mode is detected, the cover assembly can be moved to a second open position or opened for movement to the second open position by a servo motor. If a charging mode assigned to another charging connection is detected, the cover assembly can be moved to a third open position or opened for movement by an actuator.

[0019] According to an advantageous embodiment of the charging connection device, the cover assembly can include a cover element designed as a charging connection cover assigned to a combined DC / AC charging connection. In a first open position, the charging connection cover opens the AC contact elements and covers the DC contact elements. In a second open position, the charging connection cover can open the AC and DC contact elements. In a closed position, the charging connection cover can cover the AC and DC contact elements. In this case, these positions can be inexpensively realized with a single cover element and a simple mechanism for moving the cover element to different positions. For example, the contact elements can be arranged one above the other, and the charging connection cover can be moved from the closed position to the open position, opening the upper contact elements first.

[0020] According to an advantageous embodiment of the charging connection device, the cover element assigned to the combined DC / AC charging connection can have at least one sealing element. The sealing element can be arranged on the side facing the combined DC / AC charging connection. In particular, the sealing element can surround the area arranged above the DC contact element in the covered position. In addition, another sealing element can surround the area arranged above the AC contact element in the covered position. Furthermore, a sealing element that surrounds the area arranged above the DC contact element in the first open position is conceivable. In a predetermined position of the cover element, the sealing element can seal the contact element.

[0021] According to an alternative advantageous embodiment of the charging connection device, the cover assembly can include a cover element designed as a charging connection cover and a cover element designed as a terminal cover element. The charging connection cover can at least partially open the combined DC / AC charging connection in the open position and cover the combined DC / AC charging connection in the covering position. The terminal cover element can open the DC contact elements in the open position and cover the DC contact elements in the covering position. In this case, in a first position of the cover assembly, in which the charging connection cover opens the combined DC / AC charging connection, only the AC contact elements are opened by the additional terminal cover element in the covering position. The DC contact elements are covered by the additional terminal cover. In a second position of the cover assembly, the charging connection cover also has an open position. Furthermore, the additional terminal cover element has an open position, thereby opening the AC contact elements and the DC contact elements. In the covering position or the third open position of the cover assembly, the terminal cover element covers the DC contact elements, and the charging connection cover covers the AC contact elements and the terminal cover element.

[0022] According to an advantageous embodiment of the charging connection device, the charging connection cover can cover another charging connection in the open position. This ensures that the contact elements of the other charging connection are covered when the contact elements of the combined DC / AC charging connection are open. Furthermore, in the covered position, the charging connection cover opens the contact elements of the other charging connection and covers the contact elements of the combined DC / AC charging connection. Two charging connections can be arranged side by side. This allows the charging connection cover to be moved sideways, covering one of the two charging connections and opening the other.

[0023] According to an advantageous embodiment of the charging connection device, the additional terminal cover element can open the AC contact element in the open position and cover the AC contact element in the covering position, in which case the charging connection cover can cover the terminal cover element in the covering position.

[0024] According to an advantageous embodiment of the charging connection device, at least one cover element can be designed as a rotationally and / or translationally mounted flap, and / or as a foldable, rollable, or bendable roller blind, and / or as a rotatable element, in particular as a perforated plate. If the flaps are translationally mounted, they can be displaced upward or downward, or to the left or right. In this case, each flap can be displaced outward in front of the shell or inward below the shell, thereby moving into one of the open positions. In an alternative embodiment, if they are rotationally mounted, a pivoting movement away from the charging connection can be realized. If they are rotationally mounted, rotation in a plane extending parallel to the contact elements is possible. In this case, in the open position of the perforated plate, the cavities in the perforated plate can be positioned over the contact elements, which are open for contact. If the cover element is designed as a roller blind, it can be rolled up, moved inward, or folded inward in an S-shape. The roller blind can be designed as an assembly of sheets or as a bendable spring sheet. The rolling or folding movement can be performed up, down, left or right. In this case, the cover elements of the cover assembly can be designed differently and can be moved differently.

[0025] According to an advantageous embodiment of the charging connection device, the two charging connections can be arranged in a common charging recess, which allows the charging connections to be arranged in a space-saving manner in the vehicle.

[0026] According to an advantageous embodiment of the charging connection device, at least one drive device can drive at least one cover element, whereby the movement of the at least one cover element can be fully or partially automated via an electric servo motor or servo motors.

[0027] According to an advantageous embodiment of the charging connection device, at least one sensor assembly coupled to at least the cover assembly can detect the current charging mode. By detecting the current charging mode, the necessary contact elements assigned to the current charging mode can be detected. Depending on the charging mode recognized by the sensor assembly, the at least one drive unit can move the cover elements of the cover assembly to a position where only the charging connection assigned to the charging mode or the contact elements of the charging connection assigned to the charging mode are opened. This allows for fully or partially automatic opening of the necessary contact elements. The at least one sensor assembly can include a limit switch and / or a light sensor and / or a camera. Furthermore, the sensor assembly can be connected to the charging station via a communication system to obtain information about the selected charging mode.

[0028] The charging connection device according to the present invention advantageously ensures that only one charging connection or specific contact element, respectively, is accessible for contact, while other charging connections or other contact elements, respectively, are covered to prevent contact.

[0029] Other advantages will become apparent from the following description of the drawings, in which exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown. [0040] The following first describes commonalities between the illustrated exemplary embodiments of the charge connection device 100, and then describes differences between the illustrated charge connection devices 100.

[0041] As can be seen from Figures 1-21, the illustrated exemplary embodiments of a charging connection device 100 for an electrically powered vehicle each include at least one charging connection 20, 30. The exemplary embodiments of the charging connection device 100 shown in Figures 1-18 each include a charging connection designed as a combined DC / AC charging connection 20, while the exemplary embodiments of the charging connection device 100 shown in Figures 19-21 include another charging connection 30 in addition to the combined DC / AC charging connection 20.

[0042] As can be seen from Figures 1 to 21, the charging connections 20, 30 are each designed as a charging socket, although other suitable charging connections 20, 30 are also conceivable. As can be further seen from the figures, the combined DC / AC charging connection 20 has two types of contact elements 22, 24. The AC contact element 22 is arranged above the DC contact element 24. The contact elements 22, 24, 32 of the charging connections 20, 30 each form a plug-in surface.

[0043] As can be further seen from Figures 1 to 21, the cover assembly 200 has a covered position (Figures 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 14, 18) and at least two open positions (Figures 2, 3, 8, 9, 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 19, 21), and each of the open positions of the cover assembly 200 is assigned to a charging mode.

[0044] As can be further seen in Figures 1-21, the cover assembly 200 includes at least one movably mounted cover element 202 movable between a covered position and at least one open position.

[0045] In the first open position of the cover assembly 200 ( FIGS. 2 , 5 , 8 , 11 , 15 , 17 ), the AC contact elements 22 of the combined DC / AC charging connection 20 are open and the DC contact elements 24 of the combined DC / AC charging connection 20 are covered by at least one cover element 202. Furthermore, any other charging connections 30 present are covered by at least one cover element 202 in this position. The first open position of the cover assembly 200 is assigned to the AC charging mode.

[0046] In the second open position of the cover assembly 200 (FIGS. 3, 6, 9, 12, 16, 19), the AC contact element 22 and the DC contact element 24 of the combined DC / AC charging connection 20 are open. Additionally, any other charging connections 30 present are covered by at least one cover element 202 in this position (FIG. 19). The second open position of the cover assembly 200 is assigned to the DC charging mode.

[0047] In the covering position of the cover assembly 200 (FIGS. 1, 4, 7, 10, 13), the charging connections 20, 30 are covered by at least one cover element 202.

[0048] 19-21 includes another charging connection 30 electrically coupled to the combined DC / AC charging connection 20 via a common electrical path 40. In this case, both charging connections 20, 30 are under voltage. Two charging connections 20, 30 arranged next to each other on the common electrical path 40 are connected in parallel. In this case, no separation element is required to separate the charging connections 20, 30. At least one cover element 202 of the cover assembly 200 covers the another charging connection when the cover assembly 200 has the first open position, the second open position, or the covered position.

[0049] 21, the cover assembly 200 has a third open position in which the alternative charging connection 30 is open and the DC / AC charging connection 20 is covered by at least one cover element 202. The third open position of the cover assembly 200 is assigned to an alternative charging mode.

[0050] The cover assembly 200 ensures that during the charging process, only the contact elements 22, 24, 32 assigned to the respective current charging mode are accessible for contact, while the other contact elements are covered, in particular covered to prevent contact, by at least one cover element 202. This ensures that the plug can only be coupled to another charging connection 20, 30 or another contact element 22, 24, 32 that is not assigned to the charging mode assigned to the plug if the corresponding contact element 22, 24, 32 is covered to prevent contact. This ensures that the unused charging connection 20, 30 or unused contact element 22, 24, 32 that is under voltage is covered to prevent contact during the charging process. Furthermore, the unused charging connection 20, 30 or unused contact element 22, 24, 32 that is under voltage is protected from environmental influences such as dirt and water.

[0051] As can be further seen from FIGS. 1 to 3 , the first exemplary embodiment of the charging connection device 100 comprises a cover assembly 200 having a cover element 202, designated as a charging connection cover 220, assigned to the combined DC / AC charging connection 20. In the first open position ( FIG. 2 ), the charging connection cover 220 releases the AC contact elements 22 and covers the DC contact elements 24. In the second open position ( FIG. 3 ), the charging connection cover 220 releases the AC contact elements 22 and the DC contact elements 24. In the covering position ( FIG. 1 ), the charging connection cover 220 covers the AC contact elements 22 and the DC contact elements 24. When the cover assembly 200 has the covering position or the third open position, the charging connection cover 220 can have the covering position. In the exemplary embodiment of the charging connection device 100 shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 , the charging connection cover 220 is displaced from top to bottom, thereby moving from the covering position to the open position. In this case, the charging connection cover 220 moves above or parallel to the plug-in surface. When moving from the covered position to the second open position, the charging connection cover 220 does not stop at the first open position but moves directly to the second open position. In the illustrated exemplary embodiment, the charging connection cover 220 has at least one sealing element 222 on the side facing the combined DC / AC charging connection 20. The sealing element 222 is indicated by a dashed line. In the illustrated embodiment, the sealing element 222 seals the DC contact element 24 in the covered position of the charging connection cover 220. In this case, the sealing element 222 surrounds the area located on the opposite side of the DC contact element 24. In an alternative embodiment (not shown), a separate sealing element 222 can cover the AC contact element 22. Furthermore, an arrangement of the sealing element 222 that allows sealing of the DC contact element 24 in the first open position of the charging connection cover 220 is also conceivable. The sealing element 222 may be formed from plastic or other suitable material.

[0052] 1-3, charging connection cover 220 also covers charging well 10 in which combined DC / AC charging connection 20 is located. Thereby, in the illustrated exemplary embodiment, charging connection cover 220 also performs the function of charging well cover 210.

[0053] 4-21, another exemplary embodiment of the charging connection device 100 includes an exemplary embodiment of a cover assembly 200 including a cover element 202 designed as a charging connection cover 220 and a cover element 202 designed as a terminal cover element 240. The charging connection cover 220 at least partially exposes the combined DC / AC charging connection 20 in the open position and covers the combined DC / AC charging connection in the covered position. The terminal cover element 240 exposes the DC contact element 24 in the open position and covers the DC contact element 24 in the covered position.

[0054] 4, 7, 10 and 19, the charging connection cover 220 in the covering position covers the AC contact elements 22 and the terminal cover elements 240 as well as the DC contact elements 24. In this case, the terminal cover elements 240 are disposed between the DC contact elements 24 and the charging connection cover 220. In this case, the charging connection cover 220 in the covering position also functions as the charging well cover 210 that covers the charging well 10 in which the charging connection 20 is disposed.

[0055] To move the cover assembly 200 to the first open position, the charging connection cover 220 is moved to the open position, where the charging connection cover 220 releases the AC contact elements 22 and the terminal cover elements 240. The DC contact elements 24 are covered by the terminal cover elements 240. To move the cover assembly 200 to the second open position, the charging connection cover 220 is moved to the open position, and the terminal cover elements 240 are moved from the covered position to the open position.

[0056] The exemplary embodiments of the charging connection device 100 shown in Figures 4 to 21 differ in particular in the design of the cover element 202. In this case, combinations of exemplary embodiments not shown are also possible.

[0057] 4 to 6, the charging connection cover 220 is designed as a translatable flap, which is displaced upward in front of the shell outer casing into the open position. The terminal cover element 240 is also designed as a translatable flap, which is moved downward in front of the shell outer casing into the open position. Lateral displacement of the charging connection cover 220 and / or the terminal cover element 240 is also conceivable. In addition, the charging connection cover 220 can be displaced downward into the open position. It should be noted that in the case of the charging connection cover 220, it does not cover the terminal cover element 240 in the open position. It should be noted that in the case of the terminal cover element 240, it does not cover the AC contact element 22 in the open position.

[0058] 7 to 9, the charging connection cover 220 is designed as a translatable flap, which is moved laterally behind the shell outer shell into the open position. Other spatial directions of displacement behind the shell outer shell are also conceivable. The terminal cover element 240 is designed as a pivotally mounted flap, which is folded outward laterally. The pivot axis is located at the end of the charging connection and, in the illustrated exemplary embodiment, extends vertically. The terminal cover element 240 can also be folded downwards, in which case the pivot axis extends longitudinally. The terminal cover element 240 can also be folded in other directions. Care must be taken with the terminal cover element 240 that, in the open position, it does not cover the AC contact element 22.

[0059] 10 to 12, the charging connection cover 220 is designed as a roller blind, which can be folded and slid to the side in order to be displaced into the open position. In alternative embodiments, the roller blind can be designed to be rollable or bendable. The roller blind can be made of plastic or metal sheet and can be rolled up, folded, moved inwards. Furthermore, the roller blind can also be folded inwards in an S-shape. Movement can be up, down, left or right. Furthermore, roller blind designs using thin plates are also feasible.

[0060] The exemplary embodiment of the charge connection device 100 shown in FIGS. 13-16 shows a cover assembly 200 with a charge connection cover 220 and two terminal cover elements 240. The terminal cover element 240 covers the AC contact element 22 in the covering position and opens it in the open position. Another terminal cover element 240 covers the DC contact element 24 in the covering position and opens it in the open position. As can be seen from FIGS. 14-16, the terminal cover elements 240 are designed as round disks capable of rotational movement, mounted rotatably around the same axis of rotation. In this case, the disks rotate in a plane parallel to the contact elements 22, 24. In an alternative exemplary embodiment (not shown), each disk can also rotate around its own axis of rotation. Furthermore, other disk shapes are also conceivable. In the covering position of the cover assembly 200 or in the third open position of the cover assembly 200, the charge connection cover 220 has a covering position and covers both terminal cover elements 240. Furthermore, the charging contact cover 220 functions as a charging contact cover 210 that covers or opens the charging contact 10 in which the charging contact 20 is placed.

[0061] In the covered position of the cover assembly 200 or in the third open position of the cover assembly 200, the terminal cover element 240 also has a covered position.

[0062] 13 and 14, an intermediate position of the cover assembly 200 is shown in which the charging connection cover 220 has an open position and the terminal cover element 240 has a covered position.

[0063] To move the cover assembly 200 from the covered position to the first open position, the charging connection cover 220 and the terminal cover element 240 covering the AC contact element 22 are moved to the open position. In the illustrated exemplary embodiment, in the first open position, the terminal cover element 240 is aligned in position to cover the DC contact element 24 (FIG. 15).

[0064] To move the cover assembly 200 from the covered position to the second open position, the charging connection cover 220 and both terminal cover elements 240 are moved to the open position. In the illustrated exemplary embodiment, in the second open position, the terminal cover elements 240 are aligned in a position that opens the DC contact element 24 and the AC contact element 22 (FIG. 16).

[0065] In an alternative, not shown, exemplary embodiment of the cover assembly 200, the terminal cover element 240 can also be designed as a pivotable or translatable flap.

[0066] 17 and 18, the terminal cover element 240 can also be designed as a perforated plate 260 having at least one opening 262 or cavity in the form of a corresponding plug-in surface. The perforated plate 260 further comprises a body 264, which covers the areas of the charging connection 20 not exposed by the opening 262, in particular the contact elements 22. The cover assembly 200 can have several perforated plates 260, each assigned to a specific contact element 22, 24, 32 and covering or exposing them depending on its angular position. Furthermore, perforated plates 260 having several openings 262 are conceivable, where in a first angular position the opening exposes the AC contact element 22, in a second angular position the opening or the second opening exposes the AC contact element 22 and the DC contact element 24, and in a third angular position the body 264 covers the AC contact element 22 and the DC contact element 24.

[0067] 19-21 , in the illustrated exemplary embodiment of the charging connection device 100, two charging connections 20, 30 are arranged in a common charging well 10. The charging well 10 has a pivotable charging well cover 210 that covers the charging connections 20, 30 and corresponding cover elements 202 in a covering position and opens them in an open position.

[0068] 19-21, the charging connection cover 220 is formed as a translatable flap that is displaced laterally. In the first and second open positions of the cover assembly 200 (FIG. 19), the charging connection cover 220 has a first open position in which it is positioned above another charging connection 30 and covers its contact elements 32, thereby opening the combined DC-AC charging connection 20.

[0069] The terminal cover element 240 is designed as a pivotable flap that folds outward. In the first open position of the cover assembly 200, the terminal cover element 240 has a covering position.

[0070] In the second open position of the cover assembly 200 (FIG. 19), the terminal cover element 240 has an open position, whereby the AC contact element 22 and the DC contact element 24 are open.

[0071] In the third open position of the cover assembly 200, the charging connection cover 220 is positioned over and covers the combined DC / AC charging connection 20, thereby opening the other charging connection 30.

[0072] A drive unit (not shown) of the cover assembly 200 moves the cover element 202 between these positions. Furthermore, at least one sensor assembly (not shown) coupled to the cover assembly 200 or the drive unit can detect the current charging mode. Depending on the charging mode recognized by the sensor assembly, the at least one drive unit thereby moves the cover element 202 to a position in which only the charging connections 20, 30 assigned to the charging mode or the contact elements 22, 24, 32 of the charging connections 20, 30 assigned to the charging mode are opened. This allows for fully or partially automatic opening of the required contact elements. [Explanation of symbols]
