Abstract

A swimmer monitoring device (10) comprises a means for acquiring a surveillance image obtained by capturing a swimming pool from above the water surface, a means for acquiring swimming state information output from a trained model by inputting the acquired surveillance image thereto, and a means for generating drowning alert information relating to swimmers on the basis of the acquired swimming state information. The swimming state information may include detection information relating to swimmers under alert, the swimmers under alert including at least first-drowning-state swimmers estimated to be in a first drowning state of being drowning and submerged, and second-drowning-state swimmers estimated to be in a second drowning state different from the first drowning state and involving body movements, in such a manner as to enable the first drowning state and the second drowning state to be distinguished from each other.
