Abstract

The present invention provides methods for detecting the presence of at least one revertant virus in a sample containing an attenuated virus by single molecule real-time (SMRT) sequencing. The present invention further provides methods for the quantitative analysis of a mixture of viral haplotypes in a viral sample by SMRT sequencing. The present invention also provides kits useful for carrying out the methods.
