Abstract

To greatly reduce a load on a monitoring person required to confirm a left object by performing a report separately between a case with a higher level of suspiciousness in the left object and the other case.SOLUTION: A left object monitoring system comprises: a camera for photographing a monitoring area; an image analysis server 2 for detecting a left object by image analysis with respect to a photographed image by the camera so as to control a report in response to the result; and a monitoring terminal 4 for displaying the photographed image including the left object related to the report. The image analysis server performs; detecting the left object by image analysis with respect to the photographed image and also detects behaviors of persons in the periphery of the left object; and controlling the report based on a first report condition related to a state of the left object and a second report condition related to the behaviors of the persons in the periphery of the left object. Especially, the image analysis server performs: detecting an avoidance behavior of each one of the persons with respect to the left object based on a movement locus of the person in the periphery of the left object; and controlling the report based on an occurrence state of the avoidance behavior as the second report condition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
