Abstract

The present disclosure provides an antibody that can bind to a paramyxovirus and neutralize infection by the paramyxovirus. The paramyxovirus can be, for example, a respiratory syncytial virus, a metapneumovirus, or a pneumonia virus of mice. The antibody comprises a modification of the Fc region that improves the in vivo stability of the antibody, one or more effector functions of the antibody, or both. Also provided are antibody compositions, polynucleotides encoding the antibody, vectors, host cells, and methods of using the antibody for preventing and / or treating paramyxovirus infection.

Claims

1. IgG1 antibodies including the following: (i) Two heavy chain polypeptides each having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1; and (ii) Two light chain polypeptides, each having the amino acid sequence of Sequence ID No.

4.

2. An isolated polynucleotide encoding the antibody according to Claim 1.

3. The polynucleotide according to claim 2, comprising DNA or RNA.

4. (i) the RNA comprises mRNA; or (ii) The RNA comprises mRNA, wherein the mRNA comprises a modified nucleoside, a cap-1 structure, a cap-2 structure, or any combination thereof, and / or comprises pseudouridine, N6-methyladenonesine, 5-methylcytidine, 2-thiouridine, or any combination thereof. The polynucleotide according to claim 3.

5. A vector comprising the polynucleotide described in any one of Claims 2 to 4.

6. A host cell comprising a polynucleotide according to any one of claims 2 to 4 or a vector according to claim 5.

7. A composition comprising the antibody according to claim 1, the polynucleotide according to any one of claims 2 to 4, the vector according to claim 5, and / or the host cell according to claim 6, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, excipient, or diluent.

8. A pharmaceutical composition for use in preventing paramyxovirus infection in a subject, comprising the antibody described in claim 1, the polynucleotide described in any one of claims 2 to 4, the vector described in claim 5, the host cell described in claim 6, and / or the composition described in claim 7.

9. A pharmaceutical composition for use in treating paramyxovirus infection in a subject, comprising the antibody according to claim 1, the polynucleotide according to any one of claims 2 to 4, the vector according to claim 5, the host cell according to claim 6, and / or the composition according to claim 7.

10. The pharmaceutical composition according to claim 8 or 9, wherein the paramyxovirus comprises respiratory syncytial virus, metapneumovirus, mouse pneumonia virus, or any combination thereof.

11. The use of the antibody according to claim 1, the polynucleotide according to any one of claims 2 to 4, the vector according to claim 5, the host cell according to claim 6, and / or the composition according to claim 7 in the manufacture of a drug for preventing paramyxovirus infection in a target.
