Abstract

To provide an electromagnetic rotary drive device that can be designed in a small size and that has a rotor that can be magnetically levitated without contact.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic rotary drive device 1 includes a stator 2 having a plurality of coil cores 25 which are six coil cores 25, each of the coil cores 25 includes a longitudinal rim 26 extending in the axial direction A, and a transverse rim 27 arranged perpendicular to the longitudinal rim 26 and extending radially and bounded by an end face 211. The coil cores 25 are arranged equidistantly on a circular line such that the end face 211 surrounds the rotor 3 of the electromagnetic rotary drive device 1.
