To provide a method for producing a multilayer thin film and a cosmetic container having the multilayer thin film.SOLUTION: A method for forming a multilayer thin film according to one embodiment of the present invention includes: forming a primer layer on a substrate selected from at least one of PET (polyethylene terephthalate), PETG (glycol-modified polyethylene terephthalate), PCTA, and PCTG; forming a transparent undercoat layer on the primer layer; forming an aluminum thin film layer on the undercoat layer; forming a soft and transparent intermediate coat layer on the aluminum thin film layer; and forming a top coat layer on the intermediate coat layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
