Abstract

The invention relates to presses for extracting juice from plant products, in particular for extracting must from grapes. The grape press comprises a frame formed by vertical posts (5) with stops in the lower part, at the same time in the upper part the vertical posts (5) are rigidly attached to a sleeve (6). On the stops of the vertical posts (5) is fixed a tray (2) for the must, made in the form of a disk and provided on the circle with a side wall (3), wherein is made an opening (4) for draining the must. Onto the tray (2) is placed a hopper (1) for grapes, made in the form of a cylinder, wherein is placed a removable piston (18) for pressing the grapes, made in the form of a disk, wherein is fixed the lower end of a screw (7), the upper end of which freely passes through the sleeve (6). Onto the upper end of the screw (7) is fixed a removable handle (19) for manually driving the rotation of the screw (7) at the third speed. Onto the screw (7) is mounted a nut (8), in the upper part of which is fixed a thrust bearing (9), which is in contact with the lower part of the sleeve (6), and in the lower part of the nut (8) is rigidly fixed a driven bevel gear (10), which engages with a small driving bevel gear (11), fixed onto one end of the shaft (12), mounted with the possibility of free rotation in a sleeve, fixed onto a vertical post (5). Onto the end part of the shaft (12) is rigidly fixed a driven element of a chain transmission or a worm pair, or a gear reducer, which is connected to the driving element thereof, fixed onto an end part of the second shaft (16), mounted with the possibility of free rotation in s sleeve, fixed onto a vertical post (5). Onto the opposite end of the shaft (12) is fixed a removable handle (17) for manually driving the rotation of the screw (7) at the second speed and onto the opposite end of the shaft (16) is fixed a removable handle (17) for manually driving the rotation of the screw (7) at the first speed, at the same time the removable handle (17) is provided with a ratchet mechanism.
