Abstract

A luminaire head comprising: a luminaire housing comprising a first compartment having a wall; and a lamp. The first compartment is a light compartment configured for enclosing a light source, and is configured to only be accessible from an opening in the wall. The lamp includes: a base member configured for closing at least partially the opening to the first compartment; a support member fixed to the base member; at least one substrate provided to the support member; a light source fixed to the at least one substrate and configured for emitting light towards a transparent or translucent portion of the first compartment.
