Abstract

The invention relates to a catheter assembly for making an ETS and / or STS anastomotic surgery using a clip of a type comprising a ring structure and one or two two-prong forks. The catheter assembly comprises a laser catheter, and a fixation device to receive the distal end of the catheter. The catheter comprises a tubular arrangement of optical fibres, and a tubular sheath around the optical fibres. The optical fibres extends from the tubular sheath. The sheath is provided with a protuberance around the sheath. The fixation device defines a channel for receiving the distal end of the catheter. The channel has a circumferential protuberance recess configured to receive the protuberance in a locking manner. The channel further has a clip gripper configured to receive part of the clip in a locking manner preventing the clip from moving in axial direction with respect to the fixation device. (Fig. 1)
