Abstract

The present invention belongs to a technical field of assembling a rotating device, and particularly relates to a tooling and method for assembling a boxed mechanical seal. By adopting the tooling and the method, it can completely avid the invalidatiàn of the dynamic seal ring and the static seal ring caused by friction there-between in an assembly procedure of the boxed mechanical seal, and ensure an assembly quality and efficiency of the boxed mechanical seal. Based on the structural characteristics of the boxed mechanical seal, the present invention avoids the dynamic and static ring components from being assembled separately, and improves assembly working quality and efficiency.
