Abstract

The subject of the application is a method for granulating mortar produced from recycled concrete or geopolymer debris in an abrasion chamber, which involves using a temperature of approximately 650°C to harden the geopolymer aggregate produced in a low-pressure granulator, wherein the abrasion chamber shell has truncated cone-shaped openings with a cone base diameter smaller than 2 mm and a cone generatrix inclination of no greater than 75°, which allows for rapid emptying of the abrasion chamber from the recycling mortar at a temperature of 650°C. The truncated cone-shaped openings prevent the fine grains of the recycled mortar from jamming. The application also covers the abrasion chamber.
