[0003] Tools are widely used in construction, maintenance, industrial facilities, and emergency situations. Some tasks require work be completed at elevated heights and are extremely time- and space-sensitive. For safety reasons, tools may be secured to relatively stationary objects such as people or structures such as buildings, vehicles, and equipment such as ladders or aerial buckets and the like. Previous methods for securing tools include holding tools in a receptacle or placing them on the floor of an aerial bucket while not in use. Previous methods can be improved by providing an apparatus to provide convenient access to the tool while preserving premium space for other critical functions.

Unitary holder body 105 includes a top hook portion 110 with a top hook portion opening 110a, a cutter bar retaining portion 115, and a guard portion 140.
